Iraq Vets Take on Obama Over Iran Deal

By Josh Rogin. A group of Iraq war veterans is launching a million-dollar effort to oppose President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, trying to counter the president’s argument that those who are against the deal are in favor of war.

Obama has said recently that there are only two camps: those who support the deal versus those who would prefer a bloody and costly war like the conflict in Iraq. The new ad campaign complicates that, asserting that the deal itself will lead to more war. And the voices putting forth that case do not prefer war; they are soldiers who have had enough of it.

The group, Veterans Against the Deal, was founded last month as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, and it does not disclose its donors. Its national campaign starts today, including television ads in states whose members of Congress are undecided on the Iran deal. Lawmakers will vote on it in September.

The first of the group’s videos features retired staff sergeant Robert Bartlett, who was badly injured by an Iranian bomb while serving in Iraq in 2005. “Every politician who is involved in this will be held accountable, they will have blood on their hands,” he says in the ad. “A vote for this deal means more money for Iranian terrorism. What do you think they are going to do when they get more money?”

The first ad will go up in Montana, aimed at Democratic Senator Jon Tester. Subsequent ads will air in North Dakota, West Virginia and elsewhere. The group will also send veterans to speak at events in key states. (Read more from this story HERE)

A duo of black women — hosting a YouTube “show” called “The Viewers View” — eviscerated Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly for her questions related to Trump’s statements on Twitter concerning women.

Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson produced, “Megyn Kelly and that Damn Debate,” today:

“Okay, so it’s a day after the debates and you all know I am mad as hell,” Hardaway began. “Somebody already tried to come for Donald, so I’ve got to come for them.”

‘Mess With the Bull, You’re Going to Get the Horns, Sweetheart’: Trump Iowa Campaigner Says ‘Bloodgate’ Attack on Megyn Kelly Was ‘Fair Game’

By Kieran Corcoran. A Donald Trump official leading his political campaign in Iowa has said his attacks on Fox News host Megyn Kelly are ‘fair game’.

Tana Goertz, his campaign co-chair in the battleground state, said that she was not offended by Trump’s suggestion that Kelly asked him tough questions because there was ‘blood coming out of her wherever’.

Goertz instead said the abuse is part of political debate, saying: ‘If you mess with the bull you’re going to get the horns, sweetheart’.

Trump’s comments, made Friday night in a CNN segment where he also called her a ‘lightweight’ and ‘overrated’, were widely interpreted as a crude reference to Kelly’s menstrual cycle . . .

Goertz, whose association with Trump began when she appeared on season three of The Apprentice, told BuzzFeed News that she was ‘not offended’ by the statement, and does not think it is about her period. (Read more from this story HERE)

Watch: One Surprising Candidate Stood out in Fox News’ Focus Group in a BIG Way

gop150418102020-gop-field-2016-candidates-exlarge-169Mike Huckabee made believers out of members of a focus group watching Thursday’s Republican presidential debate.

“Huckabee surprised me,” said one woman in the 23-member group. “He was very articulate, very relatable. He made some very good points.”

Republican pollster Frank Luntz conducted the focus group, whose comments were aired Thursday night in a live post-debate “Kelly File.” When he asked the group to name the candidate who most surprised them, Huckabee’s was the first name mentioned.

“He brought a certain level of past history with him, a certain level of standing when he said ‘Reagan said trust but verify. Obama is trust but vilify,’” said one man in the group. In response to the praise for Huckabee, Luntz asked for a show of hands in support of Huckabee’s performance. Eighteen arms shot into the air.

The focus group’s embrace of Huckabee’s performance contracted with negative assessments of Donald Trump’s debate showing. Fourteen members of the group expressed a positive pre-debate opinion of Trump. Only three held that opinion afterwards.

“He sucked the wind right out of the room,” complained one member of the group. “All he did all night was point at himself and have no solutions for anything.”

“I liked him when I came in here because he wasn’t a politician,” said one man in the group. “But right now, he skirted around questions better than a lifelong politician ever had.”

Company Trying to Block Video That Could Prove Aborted Babies Were Born Alive, Then Harvested [+video]

The leader of the Center for Medical Progress (CMP), the organization exposing Planned Parenthood, told CNN “New Day” this morning that a biomedical company is trying to silence CMP because they are “very scared” of footage coming out that will prove babies were born alive before being “aborted” and having tissue and organs harvested.

California based StemExpress, a company closely allied with Planned Parenthood that provides fetal tissue to researchers, has managed to convince a Superior Court judge to issue a temporary restraining order against CMP.

The order bars the undercover journalists from releasing any more footage of StemExpress officials.

David Daleiden explained why he believes StemExpress is taking such hefty action:

Investigator Says Stemxpress Bought Intact Intact Dead Babies From Planned Parenthood

By Austin Ruse. Undercover investigator David Daleiden tells CNN the reason StemExpress is trying to suppress the video he took of its CEO on May 22 is because the company doesn’t want anyone to know it bought whole intact dead babies from Planned Parenthood.

Daleiden said on CNN, “In a meeting with their top leadership, they admitted that they sometimes get fully intact fetuses shipped to their laboratory from the abortion clinics they work with, and that could be prima facie evidence of born alive infants. And so that’s why they’re trying to suppress that videotape and they’re very scared of it.”

On May 22, Daleiden and his team had lunch with StemExpress CEO Cate Dyer and other senior personnel from the company that is the main buyer of freshly killed baby parts from Planned Parenthood. As the Center for Medical Progress has released videos, four so far, it is certain that anyone who met with Daleiden, who was posing as CEO of a fictitious company called BioMax, would become worried about what they might have said. Watch: White House Doubles Down, Declares Support for Planned Parenthood Due to Its ‘High Ethical Standard’

Photo Credit: CNS News White House Spokesperson Josh Earnest says he suspects somebody in the Obama Administration has seen a series of videos on Planned Parenthood’s role in harvesting the organs of babies, but the administration is basing its position that the videos are edited unfairly on the comments of Planned Parenthood and “the high ethical standard they live up to.”

During a White House press briefing Thursday Earnest was asked if anyone at the White House has watched the series of videos about Planned Parenthood . . .

“Where are you getting your information that the fact that it’s fraudulent, or the fact that they’re distorted and edited unfairly?” a reporter asked.

University of Cincinnati Officer Indicted in Shooting Death of Driver [+video]

A University of Cincinnati police officer was indicted Wednesday on a murder charge in what a prosecutor called “a senseless, asinine shooting” during a minor traffic stop. It was the first time such a charge had been leveled against an officer in the city.

The Hamilton County prosecuting attorney, Joseph T. Deters, released a much-anticipated video of the shooting of Samuel DuBose, and described it as providing crucial evidence that the officer had lied about being dragged by DuBose’s car.

A grand jury, Deters announced, had indicted Officer Ray Tensing for murder, punishable by life in prison, and voluntary manslaughter.

“It was a senseless, asinine shooting,” Deters said at a news conference in Cincinnati, using stark terms to denounce the July 19 episode, Tensing’s statements about it, and the 25-year-old officer himself. “This office has probably reviewed upwards of 100 police shootings, and this is the first time we’ve thought, ‘This is without question a murder.’

“He wasn’t dealing with someone who was wanted for murder,” Deters said. “He was dealing with someone who didn’t have a front license plate. This was, in the vernacular, a pretty chicken-crap stop.” (Read more from “University of Cincinnati Officer Indicted in Shooting Death of Driver” HERE)

Obama: If I Ran for a Third Term, I’d Win [+video]

President Obama told the African Union Tuesday that he felt he had been a “pretty good” president and if he were allowed to run for a third term, he’d probably be victorious.

Obama made the remarks while criticizing leaders on the continent who wouldn’t step aside at the conclusion of their terms.

“Now, let me be honest with you,” Obama said. “I do not understand this. I am in my second term. It has been an extraordinary privilege for me to serve as the President of the United States. I cannot imagine a greater honor or a more interesting job. I love my work. But under our Constitution, I cannot run again” . . .

Chattanooga Marine Unleashes BRUTAL Video on Obama, Says 9 Words That Are Going Viral

A U.S. Marine offered President Barack Obama a tough lesson in what it means to show respect for his fallen brothers-in-arms.

In the 11 minute video, the unnamed veteran, who said he is from Chattanooga, first called out the president on the manner he chose to speak following the Chattanooga shootings.

“The day of the attack, you delivered a statement. You didn’t even have the decency to stand up,” he said.

The Marine then ticked off a list of shootings or deaths that Obama did stand up for while he spoke to the nation, including the Charleston shooting, the Boston bombings, the Baltimore riots, Michael Brown’s death, and the Washington Naval Yard shooting. He even stood up when singer Whitney Houston passed.

Rather than standing out of a sign of respect for the warriors who just gave their lives in military service to their country, “You sit slumped down in a chair and ramble through some poorly scripted apology that sounds as sincere as ‘if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,’” he stated.

The Chattanooga resident then stood up and gave a short bio of each of the fallen and offered his condolences and prayers to their families. Watch Ted Cruz Slam Down CODEPINK Outside White House

Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) tussled with and shut down a group of left wing activists from CODEPINK on Thursday during a rally outside the White House organized by activists opposed to a recently inked nuclear accord with Iran.

Cruz was meant to speak at a gathering of around 50 protestors and lawmakers who had gathered in front of the White House to express their opposition to the Iran nuclear deal, which will provide the Islamic Republic with billions of dollars in sanctions relief while keeping its core nuclear infrastructure intact.

However, as Cruz approached the podium, a delegation of CODEPINK activists who had crashed the event attempted to shut him down by screaming over a loud speaker.

The rally, which was organized by the Concerned Women for America (CWA), also was scheduled to include Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.), as well as former Reagan administration official Gary Bauer.

Donald Trump Heaps Insults on RINO Lindsey Graham, Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton, Other Foes [+video]

By Michael Scherer. A triumphant and unrepentant Donald Trump launched a barrage of personal attacks and name-calling on his campaign rivals Tuesday, most notably calling South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham an “idiot” and handing out Graham’s cell phone number to the whole world.

He dismissed former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush as “weak on immigration,” and mocked Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s glasses and Hillary Clinton’s hand wave.

“What a stiff, what a stiff, Lindsey Graham. By the way he has registered zero in the polls,” Trump said, at an appearance in Bluffton, S.C. “A total lightweight. In the private sector, he couldn’t get a job.”

Earlier in the day, Graham called Trump a “jackass.” In response, Trump called Graham an “idiot” and held up a card that included Graham’s personal phone number, then asked his supporters to call Graham. “I don’t know, give it a shot,” he said.

Donald Trump Releases Phone Number of U.S. Senator

By Lauren O’Neil. Today in Donald Trump news, the 2016 presidential candidate has released a rival’s personal cellphone number to everyone with an internet connection.

Trump was speaking at a televised campaign event in South Carolina on Tuesday when he turned his attention to the state’s senior senator (and fellow Republican presidential hopeful) Lindsey Graham.

“I got called a jackass by this guy,” Trump said, referring to a comment Graham made to CNN earlier in the day in response to Trump’s assertion that Senator John McCain is “not a war hero.”

“Then I said to myself, ‘Hey, didn’t this guy call me like, four years ago?’ Yes,” Trump continued. “Lindsey Graham, I didn’t even know who he was.”

The businessman and host of the reality TV show Celebrity Apprentice explained that Graham had called him looking for a “good reference” on the Fox News program Fox & Friends, on which Trump is a regular guest, and also to solicit campaign donations. (Read more from this story HERE)
