WATCH: Obama's Thanksgiving Confession — "I Just Took an Action to Change the Law"

The great thing about Obama’s TelePrompter is that when he stops reading from it, he slips up and tells the truth.

Daniel Halper:

The White House has argued that President Obama’s executive amnesty order last week was made well within the existing law. But in remarks in Chicago…, President Obama went off script and admitted that in fact he unilaterally made changes to the law.

President Obama made the admission after getting heckled for several minutes by immigration protesters.

“Now, you’re absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations. That’s true. But what you are not paying attention to is the fact that I just took an action to change the law.”

WATCH: Even Saturday Night Live Hammers Obama For His Lawlessness

0 (4)The term *facepalm* (The act of dropping one’s face / forehead into one’s hand) may be the most fitting end-reaction to watching this skit. (Following the laughter, of course.)

The breakdown:

A bill (Kenan Thompson) and an executive order (Bobby Moynihan) explain how government really works with a little help from President Obama (Jay Pharaoh).

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Landrieu Chief-Of-Staff Admits She’ll Vote With Obama 97% Of The Time

Don-Cravins-Jr-e1417206238451In a new video uncovered by the Black Conservative Fund, Louisiana Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu’s Washington chief-of-staff Don Cravins Jr. tells a crowd of supporters that if reelected in the December run-off election, Landrieu would vote for President Barack Obama’s agenda 97% of the time.

“He can’t finish his agenda, because he doesn’t have people like Mary Landrieu with him…” Cravins says. “So I’m asking you to go out and vote tomorrow for Senator Landrieu.”

From Cabela’s to Wal-Mart guns will be on sale a everywhere on Black Friday, and what better time is there to load up on a firearm? The manic shopping frenzy lands right before Christmas and right in the midst of deer hunting season.

With the expected increase in gun sales the Federal Bureau of Investigation is gearing up for a dense wave of background check requests. There are more than 48,000 gun retailers in the U.S., according to the Associated Press. For every sale, cashiers must call in a check to the FBI or to other approved agency to insure that the customer does not have a criminal record. When the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, was implemented in 1998, the FBI oversaw around 9 million checks. Last year that number inflated to more than 21 million.

Police Officers Ordered to Remove Facebook Post (+video)

Three Portland police officers who posted a picture of a PPB badge with a banner that said, “I am Darren Wilson” were ordered to remove them from their personal Facebook page by Chief Mike Reese.

Darren Wilson is the Ferguson, Missouri police officer who fatally shot unarmed teen Michael Brown in August. A grand jury reportedly has reached a decision whether to charge Wilson in the incident. That decision has not yet been announced.

In a statement, Reese said, “I was alerted to these images this morning and immediately ordered their removal through the officers’ chain of command. The image displayed does not represent this organization and was very inflammatory in nature.”

“I was very disappointed by the actions of these three officers,” Reese told KOIN 6 News Monday afternoon. “We’ve had incredible success in building relationships with the community and the vast majority of our officers are working so hard at developing positive relations with people within the community, particularly the minority community, and this takes away from thos efforts and impacts our organization in a negative way.”

He said the bureau has a very clear policy on how and when officers can post pictures of the badge.

Watch Pres. Obama Fumble Easy Question on Precedent

2014-11-04T180254Z_1_LYNXMPEAA30RU_RTROPTP_4_USA-OBAMA-e1415383590145President Obama completely fumbles when George Stephanopolous asks him how he’d respond if a future president takes the same action on taxes that Obama has taken on immigration. Incredibly, Obama responds as if he’d never heard or thought of this argument before, stumbling blindly along immigration talking points without answering the actual question.

Stephanopolous asked: “How do you respond to the argument, a future president comes in and wants lower taxes. Doesn’t happen. Congress won’t do it; so he says ‘I’m not going to prosecute those who don’t pay capital gains tax.’”

“The truth of the matter is George,” said the President, haltingly, “The reason that we, have to do.. uhm prosecutorial discretion in immigration, is that we know, that we – are not even close to being able to deal with the folks who have been here a long time…” Obama then pivoted to immigration talking points, without addressing the original question.

SHOCK FLASHBACK: Obama Says Illegal Immigration HURTS 'Blue-Collar Americans,' STRAINS Welfare

By Neil Munro.

President Obama once declared that an influx of illegal immigrants will harm “the wages of blue-collar Americans” and “put strains on an already overburdened safety net.”

“[T]here’s no denying that many blacks share the same anxieties as many whites about the wave of illegal immigration flooding our Southern border—a sense that what’s happening now is fundamentally different from what has gone on before,” then-Senator Obama wrote in his 2006 autobiography, “The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.”

”Not all these fears are irrational,” he wrote.

“The number of immigrants added to the labor force every year is of a magnitude not seen in this country for over a century,” Obama noted. “If this huge influx of mostly low-skill workers provides some benefits to the economy as a whole—especially by keeping our workforce young, in contrast to an increasingly geriatric Europe and Japan—it also threatens to depress further the wages of blue-collar Americans and put strains on an already overburdened safety net.”

If these feel like the words of one of Obama’s opponents, it’s because they’re the exact argument that the president’s critics have been making as he now rushes to announce a sweeping executive order that would give work permits to millions of illegal immigrants in the country.

GOP REP. HAL ROGERS’ CAMPAIGN DONOR STANDS TO PROFIT FROM EXECUTIVE AMNESTY

By MATTHEW BOYLE.

A defense contractor and top campaign contributor to House Appropriations Committee chairman Rep. Hal Rogers (R-KY) is in the running to get a contract to print millions of IDs and other government documents associated with the president’s planned executive amnesty, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

The contractor, General Dynamics, is on the list of “interested vendors” for a draft solicitation that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), sent out to vendors in October. If the president goes through with an executive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens and General Dynamics gets the contract, a top official with the firm told Breitbart News that he expects the printing of the documents — including ID cards, work permits and Social Security cards for illegal aliens — would occur at a facility inside Chairman Rogers’ congressional district in Kentucky.

The government facility, in Corbin, Kentucky, already prints green cards, work permits, IDs, and other documents for immigrants under a long-term multi-million-dollar General Dynamics contract with USCIS. The facility, and its efforts to eliminate the production of fraudulent green card production by including tiny images of every U.S. president on green cards, was profiled in 2011 by Government Security News magazine—a trade publication for insiders in various Homeland Security contracting fields.

“In what some may see as an excessive burst of patriotism, tiny photographs of every U.S. president — so small they can barely be seen — are printed on every new U.S. permanent resident card issued to an immigrant authorized to live and work in the United States,” Jacob Goodwin wrote for the April 2011 profile. “In fact, those presidential photos are not a demonstration of patriotism, but one of the latest steps U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, a unit of DHS known as USCIS, has taken to make the nation’s new permanent resident cards, commonly called ‘green cards,’ harder to counterfeit.”

Goodwin quotes General Dynamics Information Technology’s director for Homeland Security Programs Chris Jensen as detailing how that elaborate printing effort was done to attempt to reduce fraud by those who wish to print their own green cards.

Republicans Weigh Government Shutdown to Stop Obama on Immigration

By Reuters.

One Republican leader on Sunday held open the possibility that his party could move to shut down the government in an attempt to stop President Barack Obama from taking executive action on immigration policy.

A vocal group of conservatives in the House of Representatives is pressing to use government funding as leverage to prevent any White House moves that would allow millions of undocumented immigrants to stay and work in the United States.

Several Republicans, including some in leadership, have said they were trying to find alternatives that would stop short of directly threatening a government shutdown, and Republican lawmakers on Sunday talk shows acknowledged that the shutdown threat was a less than ideal approach.

“It doesn’t solve the problem. But look, we’re having those discussions… We’re going to continue to meet about this. I know the House leaders are talking about, the Senate leaders are talking about it,” said South Dakota Republican John Thune, who chairs the Senate Republican Conference, on “Fox News Sunday”.

Schlafly: Obama’s amnesty plan ‘suicide for America’

By Paul Bremmer.

Phyllis Schlafly has been involved in, worked on, and an observer of elections since 1946, and she believes they have meaning.

Barack Obama agreed at one point, saying after his first election that elections have “consequences.”

But now, even though voters uniformly across the nation rejected the Obama administration agenda, he is promising to overhaul the nation’s immigration system by executive order if Congress doesn’t give him what he wants.

And that, Schlafly says, is national suicide.

In Deft Ninja Mind-Control Trick, Obama Calls Gruber ‘Some Adviser Who Never Worked on Our Staff’

During a press conference at the closing of the G-20 summit in Australia, Fox News White House correspondent Ed Henry asked President Obama to comment on the firestorm created by ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber.
Fasten your seat belt and prepare to suspend disbelief:

“The fact that some adviser who was never on our staff expressed an opinion that I completely disagree with in terms of the voters is not a reflection on the actual process that was run.”

Really? “Some adviser who never worked on our staff”?

• Gruber was not only paid $92,000 by HHS to build an ObamaCare simulation model, he was later signed to an eight-month contract for an additional $297,000, bringing his total take from the administration to nearly $400,000.

Fournier: Obama “Destroyed the Credibility of His Administration and Government Itself” (+video)

0 (3)Well, those are some words. Fournier has been sounding this alarm for a while, positioning himself as a responsible and disappointed Washington scribe who would like such government experiments in taking over corners of our lives to succeed, but alas, Obamacare’s implementation and the administration’s incompetence have made it nearly impossible to defend this particular experiment. I’m not hating too hard. I appreciate anyone genuinely coming to this realization, though it would have been far more helpful while the passage of Obamacare was underway, and Fournier seems to have come to it good and hard. His words carry weight with people for whom mine would not (though, as I said, maybe they should, since people like me were able to foresee this instead of realizing it after the fact).

“The problem is the central attribute you have to have as any leader, in any walk of life and certainly in government is trust,” Fournier said. “This president has destroyed the credibility of his administration himself and government itself.”

Fournier said the administration’s mistakes, on top of fallout over Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber’s embarrassing comments, have made Obamacare increasingly difficult to defend.
