Photo Credit: YouTube Brian Miner was pulled over in Illinois last week after he honked his truck horn at a state police officer he claims was using his cellphone while speeding on a wet highway.
“I pulled you over – the horn, I don’t know what that was about,” the officer told Miner, who recorded the traffic stop.
“Because you were speeding and had your cellphone in your hand,” said Miner, explaining why he was honking.
“Police officers can actually use technology when they’re driving,” said the officer.
“Oh, so you guys are above the law?” Miner asked.

Photo Credit: APThe government accountability group Judicial Watch filed a legal motion Friday that threatens to drag the Obama administration into federal court to answer questions about the lost emails of ex-IRS official Lois Learner and others implicated in the tea party targeting scandal.
Judicial Watch, which was at the forefront of exposing the targeting scandal, had filed a Freedom of Information Act request in May 2013 for emails of Ms. Lerner and other officials. But the IRS did not inform the group of the lost emails, even as it told the court that it was cooperating with the FOIA request.
“The IRS is clearly in full cover-up mode,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is well past time for the Obama administration to answer to a federal court about its cover-up and destruction of records.”

Photo Credit: YouTubeThe Missouri legislature has given teachers the green light to carry guns in school. Now that carrying a gun is an option, educators from 10 different districts are getting trained in the ways of safe and responsible gun use.
One might call it “real gun control.”
Shield Solutions, a gun-training center, is teaching two staff members — volunteers — from each district how to use the elementary Glock 19 semi-automatic pistol. The fee is $17,500.
Interestingly, the gun trainers punish mistakes with physical training, akin to push-ups or other common exercises, when the volunteers fail to hit intended targets and hit “innocent” ones instead.

Chris McDaniel in Mississippi on Thursday. Cochran reached out to traditionally Democratic voters – blacks and union members – in a last-ditch effort to beat McDaniel.
“The Republican establishment sought victory via Democrat voters in the runoff, and they got them. Without the African-American vote from Democrat-leaning counties, Thad Cochrane would have lost by eight or nine percent last night,” Limbaugh said, calling the tactic “reprehensible.”
Limbaugh cited a flyer, posted by journalist Charles Johnson that suggested McDaniel and the tea party wanted to prevent blacks from voting in the Mississippi runoff election on Tuesday. Cochran’s critics allege the longtime senator’s campaign was behind the flyers.

Rep. Barletta: Obama Impeachment ‘Probably Could’ Clear House

Impeachment of President Barack Obama “probably could” pass in the House of Representatives, Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Lou Barletta speculated Monday.
“He’s just absolutely ignoring the Constitution, and ignoring the laws, and ignoring the checks and balances,” Barletta said in a radio interview posted by BuzzFeed.
“The problem is, you know, what do you do? For those that say impeach him for breaking the laws or bypassing the laws. Could that pass in the House? It probably, it probably could. Is the majority the American people in favor of impeaching the president? I’m not sure.”

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain lambasted low-information voters who still participate in elections, urging them to stay home and declaring that “stupid people are ruining America!”
Cain spoke at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” conference in Washington, D.C. Friday, insisting that the conservative audience “stay informed” in order to push back against liberalism’s broad dominance in government and media.
“The mainstream media is complicit in the cover-up and in the denial and in the overlooking of information for the American people,” the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO explained. “Most people don’t even know we are in as bad a condition as we are in.”
