Video: A View from Overseas – Here’s What the Taiwanese Thought of the Debate

American politics are followed closely overseas, especially in countries with close relationships to the U.S.

Taiwan is no exception. In this animated clip, the Taiwanese show Obama taking a real beating. Unlike most US commentators, the creators of the video point out that Obama received more time than Romney and, contrary to a recent Democratic political ad, suggest that Obama was more of a bully to the moderator than his opponent.

Like other animations from Taiwan, this video is not designed for kids. There’s a pretty graphic portrayal of a Romney attack on Sesame Street’s Big Bird – due to his proposed cuts to PBS. Additionally, both candidates engage in animated combat, similar to the portrayal of Romney and his GOP competitors in the Moral Kombat video posted several days ago.

In short, the Taiwanese who created this video considered Romney the overwhelming victor in the first 2012 Presidential Debate:

Video: Biden Admits That Obama Wants to Jack Taxes by $1 Trillion

While campaigning in Iowa yesterday, Biden admitted that he and Obama want to raise taxes by a trillion dollars.

He claims that the increase will come from expiring Bush tax cuts.

This is the first time we can find that the Obama team has honestly called the expiration of the Bush tax cuts a tax increase. Obviously, Biden went off script again.

Of course, to suggest that this trillion dollar tax hike is only borne by the wealthy is blatantly dishonest. A recent study shows that the middle class will be directly impacted, too.

Video: Legislator Refuses to Say Pledge of Allegiance, Claims it’s a Prayer

Watch this shocking video of a Pennsylvania state legislator who, when asked by her committee chair, refused to lead her fellow legislators and staffers in the Pledge of Allegiance.

After a video of the committee session, the legislator is interviewed about why she refused the Pledge of Allegiance.

She asserts that the whole thing was a set-up because the committee chair previously knew her position on the Pledge of Allegiance, that she wouldn’t say it because she regards it as “a prayer”:

We decided to post the following video after several subscribers brought it to our attention. The video is of Red Skelton’s recitation and explanation of the Pledge of Allegiance. At the close, Red Skelton suggests that it would be a pity if someone tried to ban the Pledge by calling it a prayer because of the words “under God”:

Videos: Sununu bashes Obama as Incompetent, Lazy & Dumb

Romney Campaign Chair John Sununu bashed Obama as a disengaged, detached, lazy, and incompetent President:

On another interview on Fox, Sununu responded to a question as to whether Obama might be better prepared next time.

Former Governor Sununu responded, “When you’re not that bright you can’t get better prepared”:

Krauthammer: Take Away Obama’s Prompter & You See He’s Not Half as Intelligent as He Thinks He Is (+video)

On Fox News last night, Krauthammer ripped Obama for not being “half as intelligent as he thinks he is…”

He also criticized pundits who said “Obama was off his game”:

Look, you know, people say, Obama was off his game. This is his game. If you take away a prompter, this is his game. He’ll occasionally give a great speech, but if you look at him in his news conferences, which where you don’t have a prompter and the president has more control, he gets to ask – to decide – who the questioner is and he gets to decide how long he talks, and what parts of an answer he’ll give, he never does well. So, this is who he is and I think people – I mean, he’s intelligent, but he isn’t half as intelligent as he thinks he is he is and as most of his acolytes who, you know, have treated him in a messianic way for the last a half decade or so think he is.

Here’s a video of all of his comments:

Video: Chris Matthews Freaks Out At Obama: “What Was He Doing?”

By Real Clear Politics. “Tonight wasn’t an MSNBC debate tonight, was it?” Chris Matthews said after the first Obama-Romney presidential debate concluded on Wednesday night.

“I don’t know what he was doing out there. He had his head down, he was enduring the debate rather than fighting it. Romney, on the other hand, came in with a campaign. He had a plan, he was going to dominate the time, he was going to be aggressive, he was going to push the moderator around, which he did effectively, he was going to relish the evening, enjoying it,” Matthews said.

“Here’s my question for Obama: I know he likes saying he doesn’t watch cable television but maybe he should start. Maybe he should start. I don’t know how he let Romney get away with the crap he throughout tonight about Social Security,” Matthews complained.

Matthews then demanded that President Obama start watching cable news, specifically his program.

“Where was Obama tonight? He should watch — well, not just Hardball, Rachel, he should watch you, he should watch the Reverend Al [Sharpton], he should watch Lawrence. He would learn something about this debate. There’s a hot debate going on in this country. You know where it’s been held? Here on this network is where we’re having the debate,” Matthews said. Video: Palin Rips Obama for Not Having “His Buddy, the Teleprompter” at Debate

Sarah Palin ripped Obama after Wednesday’s debate for not having his teleprompter with him:

Of course, Mrs. Palin’s hit on Obama was not without foundation. He’s had terrible experiences without a teleprompter before.

One of Obama’s worst was his horrible performance during a townhall meeting four years ago:

Video: Here Are the Real Facts – What Obama Promised, What He Delivered

American Crossroads produced this exceptional 30 second ad encapsulating what Obama promised in 2008 and what he delivered in 2012:

Videos: Obama’s 2007 Speech Praising Jeremiah Wright, “Fundamentally Dishonest, Racist”

The following videos of Obama’s 2007 Hampton University Speech are marked by “fundamental dishonesty” and “appeals to race,” according to Newt Gingrich, whose interview with Fox News appears below.

The videos also reflect Obama using not just words he later denies, but also a style of speech that differs from what he uses now.

But first, here’s a shortened clip of Obama’s warm praise for Jeremiah Wright. It begins about 45 seconds into the video, where Obama gives a “special shout-out to my pastor”:

Here’s a longer clip of the same speech:

Finally, listen to Newt Gingrich break it all down:

Video: Jon Stewart Skewers Obama Over His Response to Benghazi

Jon Stewart pretty much tells it like it is in this video hammering Obama’s response to the Benghazi attacks.

He goes through the sequence of contradictory statements from the administration and concludes with Obama still refusing to admit the attacks were terrorism, not reactions to a two-bit pornographer’s video, the Innocence of Muslims.

Stewart finishes the collage with this assessment: “Two things apparently have become clear. The attack on our embassy was planned and coordinated. The response to it, ahhh, not so much.”
