Nikki Haley Tells Vivek Ramaswamy ‘Every Time I Hear You I Feel a Little Bit Dumber’ (VIDEO)

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley told fellow Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, “Every time I hear you, I feel a little bit dumber for what you say” on stage during the second GOP debate Wednesday.

Haley’s comments came after Ramaswamy answered a question about the Chinese-based social media app TikTok.

Ramaswamy defended his use of TikTok, telling the debate moderators that Republicans “need to win elections and part of how we win elections is reaching the next generation of young Americans where they are.”

“We’re only going to ever get to declaring independence from China, which I favor, if we actually win. So while the Democrats are running rampant, reaching the next generation three to one, there’s exactly one person in the Republican Party which talks a big game about reaching young people, and that’s me,” Ramaswamy added.

Ramaswamy then said that advisers in his administration would include “the best people, the best and brightest in this country, whatever age they are,” including “many of the people on the stage.”

President Biden, 80, slipped and nearly tumbled down a 14-step staircase while exiting Air Force One on Tuesday — just hours after it was revealed that the commander in chief is working with a physical therapist and using shorter stairs to avoid further trip-ups.

The near-miss occurred moments after Biden touched down at the Detroit Metro Airport, where he was greeted by United Auto Workers president Shawn Fain, Michigan Lt. Gov. Garland Gilchrist and US Reps. Debbie Dingell, Rashida Tlaib and Shri Thanedar, all Michigan Democrats, the clip shared by radio reporter Alex McLennon shows.

Despite the hair-raising moment, Biden recovered his footing and appeared unbothered by the gaffe.

Footage of the incident, however, quickly caught fire on social media — which was already smoldering from earlier reports that Biden has been doing balancing exercises in order to avoid more public spills as his team frets over polls showing that three-quarters of Americans think he is too old for a second term. By Mediaite. Former President Donald Trump defended the honor of his “friend,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), at a rally in Graham’s home state on Monday by touting the senator’s popularity with Democrats.

“Another man who’s always there, he’s always — I’ll tell you what. When I need help on the left, he’s great. He’s great, and he’s my friend, too. Lindsey Graham, wherever you are. Lindsey?” began Trump to a cacophony of boos at a campaign rally in Summerville, South Carolina.

“Oh no, no!” shouted Trump back at the crowd. “He helps me on the left. We need help sometimes. Republicans shouldn’t need help on the left, but he helps me.”

Graham has long been reviled by the base of the Republican Party for some of his moderate positions, most notably on immigration. The longtime legislator ran a longshot bid for the presidency in 2016 and made headlines with his unsparing critiques of Trump at the time, calling him a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot.”

Trump Calms Rally Crowd After Graham Mention Gets Boos

By The Hill. Former President Trump defended ally Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Monday after Trump’s shoutout to the South Carolina Republican during his rally in the state prompted boos from the crowd. . .

It’s not the first time Graham’s name has prompted boos from a Trump crowd. During a Trump rally in Pickens, S.C., in July, the senator was called a “traitor” and received boos from attendees. In April, a New Hampshire crowd booed the mention of Graham’s name during a Trump event in which the former president referred to the South Carolina Republican as “progressive.”

Newsom in 2024? DeSantis and Newsom Officially Agree to Debate (VIDEO)

The red-blue showdown policy wonks have been waiting for is happening.

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis will square off with California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in a debate hosted by Fox News host Sean Hannity on Nov. 30, the network announced Monday.

The made-for-cable-news-event will take place at a location to be determined in the swing state of Georgia.

The two governors have taunted and circled each other for months. Back in June, Hannity pitched a verbal bout between the two political titans during an interview with Newsom and the pair quickly signed on in public while their teams hashed out the details behind the scenes.

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) claimed Monday morning he has withdrawn “thousands of dollars in cash” over the past three decades after federal prosecutors indicted him on bribery allegations following the purported discovery of $480,000 in cash and more than $100,000 in gold bars during a search of his home last summer.

Menendez’s claim came during a press conference that New Jersey.com noted was at the Hudson Community College Union City, New Jersey, campus. Notably, the community college is situated in New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District, which his son, Rep. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), represents.

“For 30 years, I have withdrawn thousands of dollars in cash from my personal savings account, which I have kept for emergencies and because of the history of my family facing confiscation in Cuba,” Menendez, who has called the allegations “baseless,” claimed in his first public appearance since the indictment.

“Now, this may seem old-fashioned, but these were monies drawn from my personal savings account, based on the income that I have lawfully derived over those 30 years,” he added:

Report: Leaked Veterans Affairs Training Video Promotes Abortion, Says Pregnancy Not Exclusive to Women (VIDEO)

A training video allegedly leaked from the Department of Veterans Affairs promotes abortion and even suggests that men can become pregnant, Fox News reported Wednesday.

The “Reproductive Health Training” video from April 2023 tells staffers how to talk to veterans who are considering aborting their babies.

“Before discussing counseling procedures, the video began with a ‘note’ on language that clarified, ‘Not all people who seek abortions identify as women.’ Another note read, ‘Person who is pregnant’ is inclusive and preferred to ‘pregnant woman,’” according to the report.

Another slide tells staffers to use certain language about abortion, like “embryo or fetus” instead of “baby or unborn child,” “veteran or person” instead of “mother,” and “embryonic or fetal cardiac activity” instead of “fetal heartbeat.”

U.S. Department of Education Secretary Miguel Cardona appeared to dismiss some parents who protest at school boards during an Associated Press interview released Friday.

“We can disagree, we can have healthy conversation around what’s best for kids. I respect differences of opinion, I don’t have too much respect for people that are misbehaving in public and then acting as if they know what’s right for kids,” Cardona said during the interview.

Attorney General Merrick Garland called on the FBI to “use its authority” against parents who “threaten” school officials in board meetings in October 2021. The National School Board Association asked the Biden administration in 2021 to use anti-terrorism laws to restrict parents who voice concerns at school board meetings.

Cardona allegedly solicited the National School Boards Association (NSBA) comparing parents at school board meetings to domestic terrorists, according to emails discovered in January 2022. President Biden left the Brazilian president visibly frustrated after he wandered off the stage at the United Nations without shaking his hand, culminating in a gaffe-prone speech that began with the 80-year-old commander in chief nearly knocking over the Brazilian flag.

Mr. Biden walked into the 7-foot-tall Brazilian flag as he took the stage Thursday, nearly knocking it over. He then took a minute to steady the flag, which began to wobble.

After Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva joined him on stage to announce a partnership between his nation and the U.S. on workers’ rights, Mr. Biden fumbled with his headset, which he was using to hear a translated speech.

“Can you hear me, President Biden? This is a historic moment for Brazil and the U.S.,” Mr. Lula said.

President Biden unexpectedly crossed himself Wednesday during a one-on-one meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in Midtown.

The 80-year-old Roman Catholic president made the conspicuous hand gesture — touching his forehead, stomach and left and right breast area with his right hand — as the Jewish leader began speaking.

“We’ve been friends for, I’ve checked it, over 40 years,” Netanyahu said, prompting Biden to make the sign of the cross in a possible joke about his own age.

However, the president did not explain his action and the White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

American Citizen Journalist Sitting in Ukraine Prison, State Dept. Confirms; Detained American Says He Was Beaten, Extorted in Ukrainian Prison: Ignored Because I’m Not a ’Black Lesbian Druggie’ (VIDEO)

While lawmakers on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. debate sending billions more in military aid to Ukraine, an American citizen journalist, Gonzalo Lira, is languishing in a Ukrainian prison on allegations of spreading Russian propaganda, throwing into question the status of free speech in the supposed democracy the Biden administration argues is worthy of more taxpayer dollars. . .

However, the administration has been much less vocal about Ukraine potentially violating the rights of an American journalist who is currently detained in Ukraine for his reporting; and in a speech at the U.N. almost entirely devoted to Ukraine, the status of Gonzalo Lira was not mentioned once by Biden.

Lira, a dual citizen of the United States and Chile who was living in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv at the time of the Russian invasion, is reportedly facing between five to eight years in prison under Ukraine’s wartime propaganda laws.

The American citizen journalist was initially arrested in May of this year on suspicion of producing pro-Russian propaganda on his YouTube channel, where he questioned the narratives around the war presented in the legacy media and from the Zelensky government, including suggesting that Moscow was provoked into invading by the Ukrainian government and the expansion east of the American-led NATO military alliance. . .

The citizen journalist has also said that he has suffered violent abuse from other prisoners during his initial time in jail, making claims, which cannot be verified, that the prison guards “outsource” torture to other inmates. Lira said that he believes the Chilean embassy did more to protect his welfare than the U.S. State Department. He added that he believes the American government does not have an interest in his case because: “I’m not a black lesbian druggie, or a transgender grifter. Besides, Victoria Nuland hates my guts, or so I’m told.”
