High School Principal Makes Disturbing Announcement to Students on Teacher’s Gender Transition

An Oregon high school principal sent a surprising message to parents about a teacher’s gender transition.

Scott Gragg, the principal of McNary High School in Keizer, recently shared a message from Diesel Technology teacher Tristan Thiel, who announced that she transitioned over the summer and asked the public to accept her new identity.

‘I’m confident that our McNary family will do an amazing job of supporting her in this journey,’ Gragg wrote in the notice to parents and students, obtained by the popular Libs of TikTok X account. . .

Gragg, a former NFL player, went on to share Thiel’s email [he] sent to [his] own students, in which [he] says [he] is ‘happy to announce that I have decided to transition my gender identity from male to female.’

‘This letter is meant to inform students, their parents and guardians that I have decided to return to school identifying as my authentic self, the woman (she, her, miss) I truly am,’ Thiel wrote in the letter shared on social media. Under Tim Walz, Minnesota Banned Christians From Teaching in Public Schools

Effective July 2025, teacher licensing rules passed last year in Minnesota under Democrat Gov. Tim Walz will ban practicing Christians, Jews, and Muslims from teaching in public schools. Walz is now the presidential running mate of current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris. His resume includes a stint as a high school social studies teacher who sponsored a student queer sex club in 1999.

Starting next July, Minnesota agencies controlled by Walz appointees will require teacher license applicants to affirm transgenderism and race Marxism. Without a teaching license, individuals cannot work in Minnesota public schools, nor in the private schools that require such licenses.

The latest version of the regulations requires teachers to “affirm” students’ “gender identity” and “sexual orientation” to receive a Minnesota teaching license:

The teacher fosters an environment that ensures student identities such as race/ethnicity, national origin, language, sex and gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical/developmental/emotional ability, socioeconomic class, and religious beliefs are historically and socially contextualized, affirmed, and incorporated into a learning environment where students are empowered to learn and contribute as their whole selves (emphasis added).

Last spring, administrative law judges finally approved these pending changes The Federalist reported one month before they were finalized. Universities are also affected: starting in 2025, they must either train their teaching students to fulfill these anti-Christian requirements or be banned from offering state licensing — and thus the ticket to the vast majority of teaching jobs — to their students. Arizona Governor Hobbs ‘Unlawfully’ Changed Election Rules: Lawsuit

The Republican Party of Arizona filed a lawsuit against Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) on Thursday, claiming that two of her executive orders “unlawfully” and “unilaterally” altered the state’s existing election laws.

Arizona GOP chair Gina Swoboda sued Hobbs over Executive Order 23, Authorizing the Use of State Facilities as Voting Locations, and Executive Order 25, Facilitating Voter Registration.

Hobbs issued the orders in November 2023. Executive Order 23 designated the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections and the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry, as well as other state-run agencies, as ballot drop-off locations. Executive Order 25 designated those state departments as “Voter Registration Assistance Agencies” that are to “distribute voter registration forms, assist applicants in completing voter registration forms, and accept completed voter registration forms.”

According to the lawsuit, Hobbs “exceeded, and is therefore unlawfully exercising, her authority as Governor, in issuing EO 23 and EO 25.” It argued that both executive actions are “unconstitutional and void.”

“Petitioners seek to enjoin Governor Hobbs from enforcing EO 23 and EO 25 on the grounds they exceed the powers granted her by the Arizona Constitution and Arizona statutes, violate the separation of powers regarding the Legislature’s authority to enact election laws; and usurp the powers lawfully granted to the Secretary of State regarding the designation of Voter Registration Agencies and county recorders regarding ballot drop-off locations,” the complaint read. “EO 23 and EO 25 are contrary to law because, in issuing these executive orders, the Governor usurped the authority of the Legislature by unilaterally changed duly-enacted election laws.” (Read more from “Arizona Governor Hobbs ‘Unlawfully’ Changed Election Rules: Lawsuit” HERE)

Record Number of Americans Rip Up Their Home Deals With Two Issues to Blame

A record 60,000 Americans have ripped up their home deals in July, citing high prices and fears about the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

While existing home sales rose slightly last month, they were still the lowest July level on record, according to a new report from real estate brokerage Redfin.

“Sales of existing homes rose 0.6% month over month in July but fell 2% year over year—to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4,094,991. That’s the lowest July level in records dating back to 2012,” Redfin’s Lily Katz wrote.

The technology-powered real estate firm noted pending sales also fell to the lowest level of any month on record aside from April 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic first impeded transactions and the supply chain.

While the average interest rate on a 30-year mortgage has dropped to 6.49%, down from its 7.22% peak in May, many homebuyers are waiting to see if rates drop further. What is Happening in the Ukraine War Should Scare the Hell Out of Us

There is a lot to criticize about America’s current military – and I’ve criticized it – but there’s another problem no one seems to want to talk about. It’s scary as hell. The United States is not ready for the kind of war we are seeing played out in Ukraine, a peer-to-peer conventional fight that is rewriting the rules of what we thought war was supposed to be. And, with leadership in the White House sitting in a rocker staring slack-jawed at Matlock reruns, we are not in a position to fix what will mean defeat in our next real war.

This is not solely about wokeness and how the officer corps has embraced the ridiculous shibboleths of the progressive left regarding race, gender, and the climate scam, but wokeness relates to the problem that the Ukraine War has revealed. When the leadership is focused on ridiculous frivolities like “white nationalism” and trans idiocy, it is not integrating the massive changes to how we fight that we need to compete on a modern battlefield.

And we do need massive changes. The old wisdom is that the military always fights the last war. Now, we’re trying to fight the last two wars. We are trying to refight the conventional Cold War model that won the Gulf War while also fighting the counterinsurgencies of the Global War on Terror. What we are not preparing to fight is the kind of war we are seeing in Ukraine.

The Russo-Ukraine War is a test bed for new technologies overlaid over old styles of warfare, particularly the static, dug-in trench warfare of World War I. What is different? A lot. For one thing, electronic warfare (EW) is an enormous new factor. You know all those awesome precision-guided munitions we saw America use in Iraq and Afghanistan? We gave many of them to Ukraine. According to open source reports – I do not know anything secret and would not write about it if I did – the Russians, who are very good at this sort of thing, have figured out how to use EW to defeat them. Remember, GPS is based on radio waves, which can be jammed, spoofed, or otherwise messed with. A missile that misses is useless. Imagine America going into a fight with its limited or completely defeated precision strike capabilities. Yeah, scary, right? Denver’s decision to welcome migrants with open arms is bringing bloodshed to the suburbs next door. A notorious Venezuelan prison gang has set up shop in Aurora, Colorado — even though the town wanted no part of the influx of asylum seekers in the first place.

Aurora — a quiet bedroom community with a population of 390,000 directly east of the Mile-High City — has become a base of operations for the brutal Tren de Aragua gang, which has seized multiple apartment complexes and set off a wave of violent crime.

Denver leads the nation in new migrant arrivals per-capita, with more than 40,000 arriving from the southern border since December 2022.

The city has bent over backwards to provide aid, even slashing emergency services to help foot the cost – so far estimated at over $68 million and counting.

U.S. Senator Sounds Alarm on Democrats’ Not-So-Secret Weapon to Win 2024 Presidential Election

Will illegal immigrants and noncitizens be voting in and swaying the upcoming 2024 presidential election?

A top U.S. senator is sounding the alarm about the strong possibility or even likelihood.

Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, a member of the Senate Budget and Judiciary Committee appeared Sunday on the Fox News Channel and said: “We’ve seen it in various jurisdictions around the country. There are a handful of states including, I believe, Virginia, Louisiana, Alabama who have done some investigating into their own voter registration files, and they’ve found a lot of noncitizens including a whole lot of illegal immigrants registered to vote.”

Lee told Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” that these states, “to their great credit, they’re doing their best to cull through those and to remove those who they believe to be illegal immigrants. And I hope other states will do the same.”

He pushed for passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, or SAVE Act, which requires individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections. ‘I’m Not Afraid to Say It’: DNC Volunteer Says Convention Drove Her to Ditch Harris (VIDEO)

A podcaster who said she volunteered at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago left the event knowing she would not vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris accepted the Democratic nomination to replace President Joe Biden Thursday, a little more than a month after Biden announced he was ending his reelection bid. The co-host of the podcast “Rolling In The Deep State,” who introduced herself as Evan on another video on TikTok, said on a viral TikTok video that attendees at the convention were “the most elite and out-of-touch people in the entire world.”

“When I was there, I didn’t feel any connection to real America or the place that I come from, which is the Midwest, Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri,” the volunteer said. “I didn’t feel any connection to the people that I know right now, who are struggling to buy their groceries or to pay their rent, the people who want to know what both candidates are going to do to materially affect change in their lives. And when I was there listening to the speeches, I felt myself feeling mad because I didn’t hear anything about the economy, definitely not in Kamala’s speech and not very much in the others as well. Instead, I heard generic platitudes, things like joy and respect and integrity. And what does that even mean?”

“Let’s make the military the most lethal in the world? I thought I was part of the anti-war party,” the volunteer continued. “I thought I was part of the party that thought for the underdog, that championed working people. When and how did we just become the party of academia and affluence? You’re Probably Cracking Your Eggs Wrong — Which Could Be Hazardous to Your Health

. . .Whoever coined the phrase “there’s more than one way to crack an egg” was technically correct. But there’s only one way to crack an egg safely, experts say, warning that one of the most popular methods could wind up being hazardous to your health.

Many of us — even Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris, who famously showed off her one-handed technique in an old baking video that recently went viral — do our cracking on the rim of the mixing bowl or frying pan.

But there’s a better, less risky way, said a pro writing for The Kitchn, a popular cooking site.

There are two reasons to be wary of the edge-of-the-bowl technique, they said — for one, this method will push the shattered shell back into the actual egg; you’re also risking tiny fragments falling into your bowl or pan.

The second reason? Bacteria from those shell fragments could wind up contaminating your food — people who like their eggs over easy or soft scrambled, for example, could be risking illness if the shell exteriors are carrying crud, the Mirror reported. Tim Walz’s Coaching History Called Out After Ex-Football Players Hit Dnc Stage: ‘It’s Strange’

Former members of the Mankato West High School football team took center stage at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Wednesday night in support of their former coach, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, as he formally accepted the Democratic nomination for vice president.

However, social media stirred over the reference to Walz as a football coach who turned a losing team into state champions.

“In Minnesota, we trust a coach who turned a team that was 0-27 into state champions,” Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) said in her speech on the third night of the DNC.

Ben Ingman, one of Walz’s former students, who said the governor also coached him in seventh-grade basketball and track at Mankato, echoed that sentiment.

“Coach Walz got us excited about what we might achieve together. He believed in us, and he helped us believe in each other. And his leadership stuck. That track team went on to win a state title, just like the football team.” . . .

“Amy Klobuchar introduces Timothy Walz as a coach who ‘turned’ a team ‘into state champions,’” one person said in a post on X. “He was NEVER a head coach.
