Trump’s Rare Visit Raises Questions About Big Announcement

By Washington Examiner. Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) is the subject of media speculation over a possible endorsement of former President Donald Trump during his visit to South Dakota on Friday for a rally with the state Republican Party.

On Friday, Trump and Noem will attend the South Dakota Republican Party’s Monumental Leaders rally as special guests at the Monument in Rapid City.

“Our Monumental Leaders rally just got 45 times better as we look forward to hearing from the original America First leader, President Donald Trump,” state GOP Chairman John Wiik said in a press release announcing the addition. “President Trump accomplished so much for our country during his time in office. As the leading presidential candidate, he can inspire our Republican Party to even greater heights.”

Trump hasn’t been to the state since delivering remarks there ahead of Independence Day in 2020. South Dakota is reliably red and isn’t a typical campaign stop for Republican candidates. Further, the state’s entire Senate delegation has endorsed Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), something that might deter a visit of this nature — unless, of course, Trump has another reason to attend.

Rumors started Thursday night about alleged plans for Noem to endorse Trump at the event. A representative for Noem didn’t confirm plans to endorse the former president but encouraged the Washington Examiner to watch the event. Mysterious Golden Specimen Discovered 2 Miles Underwater

A team of deep sea explorers visiting an extinct volcano found something resembling a golden egg 250 miles off the coast of southern Alaska.

The discovery was made Wednesday, Aug. 30, as a NOAA Ocean Exploration team recorded video in “the deep abyssal depths of the Gulf of Alaska.”

There, at a depth of about 2 miles, sat a shiny golden orb — with a perplexing hole in it.

“Something tried to get in … or to get out,” one researcher observed in a live feed.

In the debate that followed, the team made funny references to everything from the X-Files to classic monster movies. It was ultimately decided a sample of the orb was needed to examine its DNA. (Read more from “Mysterious Golden Specimen Discovered 2 Miles Underwater” HERE)

Major US Airport Becomes Shelter for Illegal Aliens as Liberal City Overwhelmed by Crisis

Chicago leaders are facing backlash over hundreds of migrants being housed at O’Hare International Airport, one of the nation’s busiest airports.

Chicago reporter William Kelly joined “Fox & Friends” Thursday to discuss what the city has been experiencing as a result of the influx of migrants.

More than 400 migrants are reportedly being housed in a section of the airport, hidden from public view behind black curtains, up from 31 at the beginning of August.

Kelly said the airport is one of only 18 migrant shelters in Chicago and that homeless Americans are no longer allowed to stay at the airport. The city previously struggled with an influx of homeless people at the airport but initiated a crackdown earlier this year after then-Mayor Lori Lightfoot faced criticism.

“Mayor Johnson campaigned as the people’s mayor. Sadly, the people are telling me that he’s the migrants’ mayor,” said Kelly. (Read more from “Major US Airport Becomes Shelter for Illegal Aliens as Liberal City Overwhelmed by Crisis” HERE)

This Country Just Decriminalized Abortion

Mexico’s Supreme Court deemed all federal penalties for abortion unconstitutional, announcing the controversial decision in the predominantly Catholic country in a social media post on Wednesday evening.

The court’s First Chamber issued a ruling saying that the federal criminal code that penalizes abortion “violates the human rights of women and persons with the capacity to gestate.”

The ruling responds to legal challenges regarding three statutes in the Mexican criminal code that sanction women who choose abortion, health professionals who perform abortions, and those who pressure pregnant women to abort. (Read more from “This Country Just Decriminalized Abortion” HERE)

‘Defund the Police’ Democrat Gets Violently Attacked, Now Demands Holding Criminals ‘Accountable’

A Minnesota DFL Party official who championed defunding the police during the George Floyd riots has since changed her position after being violently attacked this week.

Shivanthi Sathanandan, the Second Vice Chairwoman for the DFL, posted an image of her bloodied face from the attack on Tuesday, explaining that she was carjacked at her home while her children were present.

“Four very young men, all carrying guns, beat me violently down to the ground in front of our kids,” she wrote in a Facebook post that included a photo she took of herself. “The young men held our neighbors up at gunpoint when they ran over and tried to help me. All in broad daylight.”

“Look at my face in the picture. This is the face of a mother who just had the s[***] beaten out of her. A mother whose only thought was, ‘let me run far enough and fight hard enough so that my kids have a chance to get away,’” she continued. “This is the face of a mother who just listened to her four year old daughter screaming non-stop, her 7 year old son wailing for someone to come help because bad guys are murdering his Mama in the back yard, her neighbors screaming in outrage… all while being beaten with guns and kicks and fists.” (Read more from “‘Defund the Police’ Democrat Gets Violently Attacked, Now Demands Holding Criminals ‘Accountable’” HERE)

President Harris? Kamala Says She ‘May Have to Take Over’ as President and Is Ready to Do So (VIDEO)

Vice President Kamala Harris said Wednesday that an important part of her job is the fact that she “may have to take over” if President Biden is unable to complete his term in office — and that she’s ready to do so if required.

Harris was pressed on her readiness for the Oval Office during an overseas trip — after she initially tried to deflect a question about the 80-year-old Biden’s age by pointing to his legislative accomplishments.

“Questions about the president’s age often go hand in hand with questions about how you would step in the role if necessary. Do you feel prepared for that possibility? Has serving as vice president prepared you for that job?” Associated Press reporter Chris Megerian asked Harris.

“Yes,” replied the 58-year-old vice president in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she is representing Biden at the annual Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit. . .

“But let us also understand that every vice president — every vice president — understands that when they take the oath, that they must be very clear about the responsibility they may have to take over the job of being president. I am no different.” (Read more from “President Harris? Kamala Says She ‘May Have to Take Over’ as President and Is Ready to Do So” HERE)

Company Let FBI Seize Customer’s Gun Safe Contents Without a Court Order (VIDEO)

Liberty Safe willfully granted the FBI backdoor access to one of its customers’ gun safes because the federal law enforcement agency demanded it.

“The feds called the manufacturer of his Liberty Gun Safe and got the passcode to get into it too. All for protesting at the Capitol over 2 1/2 years ago,” conservative YouTubers the Hodge Twins alleged in a post on X on Monday.

Nathan Hughes, the 34-year-old owner of the compromised Liberty gun safe, was arrested at gunpoint and charged last week with one felony and three misdemeanors related to his presence in the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. During the raid on his home, the FBI ransacked his house and attempted to confiscate the firearms from his safe.

Liberty confirmed on Tuesday that it gave the disgraced federal law enforcement agency a combination to break into Hughes’ gun safe simply because the FBI produced a warrant to search Hughes’ home.

Safe companies like Liberty are not necessarily required to comply with law enforcement requests for combos to break into one of their purchased products unless a court orders them to do so. Liberty, however, claimed it is their “company protocol” to give law enforcement entry and access to its products as long as those agencies possess a warrant. Here’s Where Biden Will Be Observing the 9/11 Attacks. It’s a Disgrace. (VIDEO)

Joe Biden can’t even commemorate the 9/11 Attacks properly. The president won’t be at the White House or travel to any of the three sites targeted in our nation’s deadliest terror attack, a break from tradition. Instead, Joe will be in Alaska, part of his return to his trip to Asia which begins Thursday. Who thought this was a good idea?

On the 22nd anniversary of the attack, Joe Biden won’t be at the White House, Pentagon, New York City, or Shanksville, Pennsylvania. He’ll be at a military base in Alaska to mark the occasion, while also making yet another political unforced error (via Fox News):

On Monday, Sept. 11, Biden will travel to a military base in Alaska where he will mark the 22nd anniversary of the attacks in a memorial ceremony with members of the military and their families, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement Monday.

The White House explained that the president will travel to Alaska to mark the somber occasion after his Sept. 10 trip to Hanoi, Vietnam, where he will meet with Vietnamese General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other leaders to discuss technological innovation and climate change in an effort to bolster the two nations’ relationship.

[…]

Biden’s plans for Sept. 11 represent the first time since the attacks that a president has opted against observing the occasion at either the White House or any of the three attack sites.

‘Treated Like a Toddler’: Biden Allegedly Complained About Aides’ Response After Gaffe in Ukraine (VIDEO)

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden complained to friends that his aides “treated him like a toddler” after he made a gaffe about Russian President Vladimir Putin during a speech in Ukraine, according to a new book about Biden’s tenure in the White House.

During a trip to Ukraine in March, Biden gave an address in which he veered from his speech, saying “this man cannot remain in power,” a line that was interpreted as the president calling for a change in Russian leaders, according to Franklin Foer’s book, “The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White House and the Struggle for America’s Future.” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan reread the line to Biden as he exited the stage, and his aides later issued a statement walking back what the president had said, according to Foer.

“Biden left for home, ending his triumphalist tour, feeling sorry for himself,” Foer writes. “He knew that he had erred, then resented his aides for creating the impression that they had cleaned up his mess. Rather than owning his failure, he fumed to his friends about how he was treated like a toddler. Was John Kennedy ever babied like that?”

Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy on Tuesday asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre why the president is treated “like a baby,” in response to the book’s account. ‘No One Treats the President of the United States Like a Baby…That’s Ridiculous’: Karine Jean-Pierre Rejects Book’s Claim Biden Thought Aides Treated Him Like a ‘Toddler’ After Putin Gaffe

By Daily Mail. Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday rejected a claim made in a new book that said President Joe Biden had fumed over his aides treating him like a ‘toddler’ after his accidental call to remove Russian President Vladimir Putin from power.

In The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White House and the Struggle for America’s Future, The Atlantic’s Franklin Foer wrote that Biden felt like he was being babied after he quipped that Putin ‘cannot remain in power,’ while addressing a crowd in Warsaw, Poland in March 2022.

During Tuesday’s press briefing, Fox News’ Peter Doocy pointed out that Biden, at age 80, is the ‘oldest president in U.S. history,’ and then asked why White House staff treated him like a ‘baby.’

‘No one treats the president of the United States, the commander-in-chief, like a baby,’ Jean-Pierre answered. ‘That’s ridiculous.’

The press secretary went on to say that there will always be a ‘range of books about every administration’ that are filled with a ‘variety of claims.’ (Read more from “‘No One Treats the President of the United States Like a Baby…That’s Ridiculous’: Karine Jean-Pierre Rejects Book’s Claim Biden Thought Aides Treated Him Like a ‘Toddler’ After Putin Gaffe” HERE)

Newest NATO Country Escalates Prosecution of Christians for Quoting the Bible

In an appeals court Thursday, Helsinki’s top prosecutor said publicly quoting the Bible and publishing a booklet about Christian sexual ethics violates Finland’s “hate speech” law. The appeal escalates this U.S. ally’s prosecution of dissidents from leftist politics, a marker of repressive regimes.

The prosecutor has charged Member of Parliament Paivi Rasanen and Bishop Juhana Pohjola for writing and publishing, respectively, a booklet supporting natural marriage.

“This [case] is a God-given wake up call for Christians and others worried about the direction our society is going,” Pohjola said in a post-court press conference Friday morning U.S. time. He noted convicting a religious leader for publishing theological documents would in effect criminalize Christianity in Finland and encourage similar oppression worldwide.

Rasanen is also criminally charged with posting a Bible verse to X (formerly Twitter) and stating Christian theology in a radio interview. The prosecutor wants all recordings of the radio interview taken down and the booklet to be unavailable online, and fines levied against both Christians.

“The content of my writings and my speeches represents the classical Christian view of marriage and sexuality, the same as the Churches have generally taught for two millennia,” Rasanen said in a statement. “I do not condone insulting, threatening or slandering anyone, and my statements have not included content of such a nature. I consider this matter to be a theological discussion that should not be in a courtroom.” (Read more from “Newest NATO Country Escalates Prosecution of Christians for Quoting the Bible” HERE)
