Second Teen in Car That Mowed Down Retired Police Chief Arrested, Both Face Murder Charges

The teen boy who filmed his friend driving into a retired police chief, killing him, was arrested Tuesday, Las Vegas officials said.

The passenger and teen driver are both facing murder charges after the disturbing video of the killing came to light, officials said Tuesday at a press conference. The 17-year-old who was driving the car was previously arrested last month.

“It’s a complete lack of conscience on a part of it and the worst part about it in the video is you hear that everything was intentional,” Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Detective Lieutenant Jason Johansen said.

“A cowardly act that in my 22 years of law enforcement left me personally appalled, two juveniles joyriding in a car intentionally hitting and killing an innocent man who was riding a bicycle and leaving him for dead along the side of a road,” said Police Deputy Chief Nick Farese.

The distressing, graphic video shows the teen driver speeding up behind 64-year-old Andreas “Andy” Probst, a former police chief, while he was on his morning bike ride around 6 a.m. on August 14. ‘Quickly Turned Horrific’: Family Hears Woman Screaming as She’s Euthanized

The euthanasia program in Belgium has come under fire again, following news that a woman was suffocated with a pillow after the cocktail of drugs administered to her failed to end her life.

Le Soir, a European media outlet, reported that Alexina Wattiez, who was just 36 years old, sought euthanasia after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. In 2021, her doctor informed her that she would not survive for another year, and by March of 2022, her health was deteriorating.

Christophe Stulens, Wattiez’s partner, was there when she died, along with his 15-year-old daughter, Tracy. A doctor and two nurses came to the home that the three shared to carry out the euthanasia. “After a short night’s sleep, I was woken up by a nurse who told me that Alexina was doing very badly,” Stulens said. “Then the doctor took some syringes and we were asked if we wanted to say goodbye.”

Stulens and his daughter were told to wait outside, so they went onto the terrace, but what they thought would be a peaceful death quickly turned horrific: they heard screaming. . .

An autopsy was performed, and found that Wattiez died of asphyxiation. Allegedly, the nurses took turns using a pillow to suffocate her. “Alexina wanted to sleep peacefully, but apparently there were too few resources,” Stulens said. The Public Prosecution Service of Liège has now opened a murder investigation, while Stulens is suing. Biden Implies Blacks, Hispanics, Don’t Have ‘High School Diplomas’ (VIDEO)

Joe Biden delivered a slam to black and Hispanic workers during a speech at a community college, where he was bragging about his Bidenomics that have hurt so many Americans with high inflation and surging interest rates.

He called them “You know, the workers without high school diplomas.”

The White House then tried to clean it up, charging that the word “and” should have been heard.

Biden said, “We’ve seen record lows in unemployment particularly and I focused on this my whole career particularly for African-Americans and Hispanics workers and veterans, you know, the workers without high school diplomas.” . . .

‘Smear’: IRS Whistleblower Responds to Hunter Biden Lawsuit Targeting Him

After news broke that President Biden’s son Hunter had filed a lawsuit against the IRS, IRS Supervisory Special Agent Gary Shapley’s legal team issued a statement condemning the action.

Biden filed the lawsuit claiming that IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler revealed confidential information about his taxes in public interviews and statements.

“This suit against the IRS is just another frivolous smear by Biden family attorneys trying to turn people’s attention away from Hunter Biden’s own legal problems and intimidate any current and future whistleblowers,” the attorneys for Shapley wrote.

“The federal judge in Delaware who oversaw the aborted plea deal shot down similar claims against the whistleblowers after they exposed the secret backroom deal between Hunter Biden and the Department of Justice,” they continued, referring to Federal District Court Judge Maryellen Noreika, who put a plea deal between Hunter Biden’s lawyers and the Department of Justice on hold after expressing her concern about the extent of immunity being offered to Hunter Biden. Male Gets Crowned Homecoming Queen, Beating Out Numerous Girls

A Kansas City school is being mocked online for a decision to pick a boy to be homecoming queen. . .

It’s happened at Oak Park High in Kansas City, Missouri.

The students “just got sent a message loud and clear; boys are just better at things than girls are. Even at being a girl,” explained Libs of TikTok.

The report explained, “Tristan Young, a male student who identifies as a female, was crowned the homecoming queen this week. He beat out four lovely female candidates because actually identifying as the gender that you are is like, sooo 2010.” . . .

“We spoke with a parent in the district who asked to remain anonymous and she was disgusted by the district’s actions. She told us, ‘I’m appalled by NKC Schools’ continued support of the LGBT agenda. NKC Schools says they are ‘Champions for All Students’ yet by embracing radical political statements like this they not only indoctrinate children, but they are placing certain student populations over others. Having two homecoming ‘queens’ that are boys is a disgrace to the NKC Schools community. I hope more parents, community members and district employees start speaking out and start protecting children,'” the report explained. Police: Homeowner Shoots Intruder, and He Responds, ‘You’re Gonna Have to Kill Me.’ So Homeowner Shoots Him Again

A homeowner shot a home intruder a second time after the intruder appeared to taunt the owner over the first gunshot wound he sustained, Georgia police said.

Fayette County Sheriff Barry Babb told WAGA-TV that the incident unfolded at a residence on Thursday when the homeowner called police about an intruder. At the same time, the home’s alarm company was alerting the police about an intruder.

Babb says that the homeowner confronted the intruder in the basement and gave him a warning. After that, he fired one gunshot and struck the intruder. . .

Babb said that the suspect started going up the stairs and said to the homeowner, “You’re gonna have to kill me.”

These Jobs Put Workers at a Greater Risk of Dementia: New Research

. . .So much for the expression “healthy body, healthy mind”: People who work more physically demanding jobs could be more likely to contract dementia, per a study detailed in the science journal The Lancet.

“Our work also highlights what is called the physical activity paradox – the association of leisure time physical activity with better cognitive outcomes, and how work-related physical activity can lead to worse cognitive outcomes,” said head author, Vegard Skirbekk, a professor of Population and Family Health at Columbia Public Health, per the Sun. . .

They deduced that “consistently working in an occupation with intermediate or high occupational PA was linked to an increased risk of cognitive impairment.” . . .

Demanding jobs were defined as those that “require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.”

Take One Guess Who Joe Biden Is Pleading With to Fight Impeachment

No sooner had House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced an inquiry into whether Joe Biden should be impeached, based on evidence Congress already has obtained about alleged corruption, than the White House announced it wanted legacy media corporations to fight back against the review of the evidence.

A report from the Daily Mail revealed Biden’s White House plans to send letters to major news organizations including CNN and the Associated Press “demanding they probe the ‘lies’ of the House GOP’s impeachment inquiry.”

The AP, even before the letter officially was dispatched, seemed on board, with its claims that the Republicans have been “aggressively” investigating Biden and have been making claims “without evidence.”

In fact, McCarthy in a letter to House members outlined extensive evidence that already is in hand.

That includes that “President Biden lied to the American people about knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings,” the $20 million in payments “directed to Biden family members,” that the family has generated more than 150 “suspicious activity” reports from banks, the FBI document alleging a $10 million bribe to the Bidens, and the entire Burisma scandal, where Joe Biden, as vice president, ordered the Ukrainian government to fire a prosecutor looking into corruption at a company that was paying Hunter Biden millions of dollars. Toxicologists Discover Popular Cleaning Products Can Increase Cancer Risk

In a study published in the journal Chemosphere on September 13, researchers from the United States-based non-profit organization, the Environmental Working Group, analyzed 30 common cleaning products for hazardous volatile organic compounds. In total, 193 unique hazardous chemicals were identified with potential impacts on the respiratory system, development, reproduction and cancer risk.

“This study is a wake-up call for consumers, researchers and regulators to be more aware of the potential risks associated with the numerous chemicals entering our indoor air,” Alexis Temkin, Ph.D., a senior toxicologist at EWG, said in a statement.

The researchers were searching for a specific class of molecules called volatile organic compounds, carbon-based compounds that evaporate easily at room temperature. Not all of these compounds are thought to be harmful to humans, but the ones that are can carry serious risks when inhaled. . .

One study in 2018 found that inhaling household cleaning products could be as damaging as smoking a 20-pack of cigarettes a day in terms of its impacts on women’s lungs. House Announces Formal Impeachment Inquiry Against President Biden; Video Shows John Fetterman’s Over-The-Top Reaction to Biden Impeachment Inquiry

By Fox News. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday said House Republicans have “uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct” that will serve as the basis of an impeachment inquiry.

“Today, I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe,” McCarthy announced in a statement at the Capitol Tuesday. “This logical next step will give our committees the full power to gather all the facts and answers for the American public.”

The speaker said House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., will lead the inquiry in coordination with House Oversight Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Ways & Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo.

McCarthy spoke for only roughly three minutes and did not take questions from reporters. He made no mention of holding a floor vote before opening the impeachment inquiry, despite telling Breitbart earlier this month it would happen “through a vote on the floor of the People’s House and not through a declaration by one person.”

Video Shows John Fetterman’s Over-The-Top Reaction to Biden Impeachment Inquiry

By Daily Caller. Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman had an over-the-top reaction Tuesday to the announcement of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

The senator was walking alongside an aide in a brick building, and someone off-camera asked him about his thoughts on the announcement, video footage posted to Twitter shows.

“Oh my god, really? Oh my god,” Fetterman said, pressing both hands to his face. “You know, oh, it’s devastating.”

Laughter can be heard from those accompanying Fetterman. As he continued to react, a man appeared to lead the senator away from the cameras. “Ooo, don’t do it. Please, don’t do it.
