By Townhall. It’s getting increasingly anxiety-inducing to watch President Joe Biden give these public addresses. This Saturday, the president and first lady spoke at the commissioning commemoration ceremony of the USS Delaware.

The remarks weren’t exactly memorable because either of them said something groundbreaking. The president, however, did mix himself up with former First Lady Michelle Obama, with “Michelle Obama” trending on Twitter for Saturday night.

As a result, the White House transcript had to go in and save him, as they’ve had to do before with this administration. “And I’m deeply proud of the work she is doing as First Lady with Joining Forces initiative she started with Michelle Obama when she [I] was Vice President and now carries on,” is how the transcript has it, indicating the president had mistakenly referred to Michelle Obama as vice president.

Nearly 1 in 5 Democrats Want Hillary Clinton as Their Nominee if Biden Can’t Run In 2024

By Washington Free Beacon. A majority of Americans said they have “doubts” about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness, while nearly two-thirds said he might be “too old” to be president, according to a recently published Harvard-Harris poll.

The results are not exactly surprising, given the alarming rate at which Biden, 79, has been committing gaffes on the international stage amid the lingering threat of nuclear war. Nevertheless, they might come as a surprise to consumers of mainstream media, where the coverage of the Biden administration tends to portray the president as a sharp and steadfast leader in these trying times.

The poll found that 55 percent of Americans had doubts as to whether Biden was “mentally fit to serve” as president, compared with 45 percent who expressed confidence in his mental fitness. By an identical margin, Americans also expressed doubts about Biden’s ability to “handle difficult international issues.” Asked whether Biden was “showing he is too old to be president,” 62 percent of Americans said yes, while 38 percent said otherwise, including one in three Democrats. Two-thirds of Hispanic voters said Biden might be too old to be president, along with 43 percent of black voters. GOP Governor Slams Trump as ‘F***Ing Crazy’ at DC Event

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, a Republican, lambasted former President Donald Trump as “f***ing crazy” in a monologue at an elite DC event for journalists over the weekend.

Sununu was one of a number of speakers at the annual Gridiron Club dinner Saturday evening, which returned after a three year hiatus caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The event, attended by political and media elites, features skits and speeches from a bipartisan roster of lawmakers, all of which involve roasting one another. The New Hampshire governor, according to Politico, initially pretended to praise the 45th president’s “experience,” “passion,” “sense of integrity,” and the “rationale” he brought to his tweets.

“Nah,” Sununu, who is considered as a 2024 contender, continued, “I’m just kidding. He’s f***ing crazy,” causing the Renaissance Hotel ballroom to erupt in laughter.

“Are you kidding? Come on,” the Republican governor then jokingly asked the crowd of if they thought he was seriously praising the former president’s tweets. “You guys are buying that? I love it.” Sununu then revealed that Trump “just stresses me out so much,” before pledging that he was “going to deny I ever said” what he had.

Sununu, who has served as governor since 2017, went on to quip that “The press often will ask me if I think Donald Trump is crazy. I’ll say it this way: I don’t think he’s so crazy that you could put him in a mental institution. But I think if he were in one, he ain’t getting out.” The governor also told the story of when the then-president was visiting the Granite State and offered him a ride in the presidential limo, known as The Beast. US Navy Announces New Ship Will Be Named After Darling of the Left

Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro announced Thursday that the Navy is naming a ship after former Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, getting the announcement out just under the wire as Women’s History Month came to a close.

Ginsburg’s name will be on a ship that is not yet built, but it will be a John Lewis-class replenishment oiler, according to a Navy news release.

The Lewis class of ships has been used to memorialize other liberal icons, including Sen. Robert F. Kennedy of New York, former Supreme Court Justice Earl Warren, gay activist Harvey Milk and Lewis himself, who was a civil rights activist before serving 17 terms as a Georgia congressman. Famous Cookie Brand Joins Woke Corporations Pushing LGBT Ideology

Oreo Cookie released a new ad Monday that celebrates a young man coming out as gay to his family.

“Coming out doesn’t happen just once. It’s a journey that needs love and courage every step of the way. Share our new film and let someone know you’re their #LifelongAlly,” the introduction to the ad reads.

The ad is co-sponsored by PFLAG, an organization that encourages families to embrace their LGBT family members.

The ad features a young man sitting with his sister and parents at a kitchen table. His immediate family already knows he’s gay and is supportive of him, but he is nervous about coming out to his grandmother, who is soon visiting.

The young man is reviewing a letter he seemingly wrote to prepare for this moment, but he stutters and is comforted by his mother. “I think you’re ready,” his mother says to him in anticipation of his grandmother visiting. Speaking with the conspiracy purveyors on Alex Jones’s InfoWars, Mr Stone weighed in on the evolving controversy surrounding Mr Cawthorn’s claim that he had been invited to orgies by veteran figures on Capitol Hill and witnessed others doing cocaine, claiming that he could confirm both practices to be alive and well.

“I can tell you first hand that these parties happen. I can tell you that they continue to happen. I can tell you that Madison Cawthorn told me yesterday that he had not retracted what he said, even though Kevin McCarthy has popped up and is now speaking for the member of Congress,” Mr Stone alleged.

His claims are likely only to fuel the growing animosity that members of the GOP House and Senate caucuses are beginning to express openly towards the 26-year-old Mr Cawthorn, the youngest-serving member of Congress. The original comments by the North Carolina freshman member, made earlier this week, exploded across social media after they were published in a video interview and resulted in Mr Cawthorn being hauled into a meeting with GOP leaders Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise for a dressing-down on Wednesday.

“Some of the people leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country, and then you watch them do a key bump of cocaine right in front of you. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) “exposed” the GOP as child traffickers with his recent assertion that Republican members of Congress engage in drug-fueled orgies — an unsubstantiated claim that has gotten him broadly disowned by many Republican officials in his state.

The claim came during a discussion of the sex trafficking ring of the late billionaire wealth manager Jeffrey Epstein, and the people who may have patronized his parties. . .

“When we hear congressmen like Congressman Cawthorn speak out in this manner, we have to applaud them,” said co-host Edward Szall. “We have to stand with them because what he’s doing is he’s showing us behind the scenes. Not So Lucky: Eating This Beloved Cereal Could Make You Physically Ill

Lucky Charms — the sugary breakfast cereal made by General Mills that has long used a leprechaun mascot — is believed to be making people sick nationwide, The Post has learned from reports on a consumer complaint website.

At least 139 consumers across the country reported they vomited and had diarrhea after eating a bowl of the cereal that’s marketed to kids, according to iwaspoisoned.com, a platform that tracks food-borne illnesses.

In March, Jan Judd of Heber City, Utah, said she ate a bowl as a snack one evening and a few hours later she was cramping up, nauseous and up much of the night with diarrhea.

“I felt lousy for 24 hours, even worse than I felt when I had COVID-19,” Judd told The Post.

Lacey Pack of Friona, Texas, gave her 3-year-old son Jackson a mid-afternoon snack of the cereal without milk on March 6. Several hours later, he began “projectile vomiting” and didn’t stop until the following day, she told The Post. WATCH: FBI Cyber Chief CAN’T FIND Hunter Biden’s Laptop

By Daily Mail. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) got into a heated spat over the whereabouts of Hunter Biden’s laptop during a House Judiciary hearing on oversight of the FBI’s Cyber Division on Tuesday.

The Republican firebrand used his allotted time to grill the division’s assistant director Bryan Vorndran, who repeatedly told Gaetz he didn’t have any information on where the hard drive belonging to President Joe Biden’s son is currently located.

At one point Gaetz tried to enter the hard drive into the Congressional record but was blocked by House Judiciary Chair Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who changed his mind a short while later.

‘Sir, I’m not here to talk about the laptop. I’m here to talk about the FBI’s cyber program,’ Vorndran told Gaetz after the lawmaker asked where it was. . .

‘Today Is Just a Small Taste’: Grassley Drops New Hunter Biden Documents

By Townhall. Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley took to the Senate floor Tuesday night to give “a little taste” of new information about Hunter Biden’s deep business and family ties to communist China.

“Today, Senator Johnson and I will begin our series of speeches on our investigation into the Biden Family’s financial deals,” Grassley said. “We’ll refute and dismantle the talking point that the liberal media and our Democratic colleagues pushed on the American people: That our investigation advanced and spread Russian disinformation.”

Using posters displaying documents, Grassley connected the dots right to Hunter’s bank account.

Twitter Locked My Account for Telling the Truth About ‘Woman of the Year’ Rachel Levine

Over the weekend, Twitter locked me out of my account for stating the obvious fact that Rachel Levine, the U.S. assistant secretary for health, is a man. The corporate press, Big Tech, and even the U.S. government all refer to Levine, 64, as a “trans woman.” But this only means he dresses and presents himself as a woman, and asks the rest of the world to indulge him in what amounts to at best a flight of fancy, and at worst a dangerous delusion. And for the most part, the world obliges.

But there is no way around the stubborn fact of Levine’s manhood. He lived the first 54 years of his life as a man, fathered two children with his wife of 25 years, and only decided to “transition” about ten years ago. Twitter has told me it will unlock my account if I delete my offending tweet, but I’m not going to. Rachel Levine is a man, he will always be a man, and I refuse to pretend he’s not.

I’m not the first commentator to get locked out of Twitter for pointing this out. Indeed, my offending tweet was merely linking to a column I wrote last week detailing how Twitter had locked out The Babylon Bee, its Editor in Chief Kyle Mann, its founder Adam Ford, and Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, all of whom ran afoul of Twitter’s terms of service for saying Levine is a man. (Actually, Mann got locked out for joking, in response to the Bee’s account getting locked, “Maybe they’ll let us back into our @TheBabylonBee Twitter account if we throw a few thousand Uighurs in a concentration camp.” But you get the point.)

In Twitter-world, saying Levine is a man amounts to “hateful conduct.” As you can well imagine, Twitter’s hateful conduct policy is rather capacious. It isn’t limited to prohibitions on obvious things like violent threats or harassment, or calling for harm to specific groups of people. Trans Nightmare: Girl Announces Gender Surgery for Horrifying New Reason (VIDEO)

. . .In a video shared to the Twitter account Libs of Tik Tok on Monday, a young woman with a private TikTok account @searogue laid out the struggle she’s having beginning her gender transition to bedcome a male — but not for the reasons one might think.

The young woman is torn because, as she claims, she is “cis-gendered” while many of the 30 or so other personalities she shares her body with are male.

Ukraine to Probe After Videos Show Alleged Russian POWs Shot, Abused

By New York Post. [G]raphic videos emerged purporting to show the horrific abuse of Russian prisoners of war, including some who were shot in the legs. . .

One clip shows what appear to be Ukrainian troops removing three Russian soldiers from a van seconds before the detainees are shot in the legs.

In another video, the faces of injured and bloodied Russians are seen after hoods are removed from their heads. . .

On Sunday, a Russian official condemned the alleged brutality.

“Footage appeared on the internet in which prisoners were treated with extreme cruelty by Ukrainian nationalists. The video circulating online shows captured soldiers, being shot in both legs and not given medical assistance,” said A.I. Bastrykin, head of the Russian Federation investigative committee. The Mariupol Theater Bombing

By The American Conservative. On March 16, the Donetsk Regional Drama Theatre in Mariupol, Ukraine, was bombed. The building reportedly housed scores of civilians at the time. Maxar satellite images showed the word “CHILDREN” written in Russian in large letters on the pavement outside. The incident occurred within hours of President Volodymyr Zelensky’s virtual address to Congress, where he asked again for the United States to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Western and Ukrainian observers immediately assumed the worst. “Russian forces ‘purposefully destroyed’ theatre in Mariupol where civilians were taking shelter, Ukrainian officials say,” read a notification pushed out by Twitter. “Massive Russian attack on the Drama Theater where hundreds of innocent civilians were hiding,” tweeted Ukrainian politician Dmytro Kuleba. “Russians could not have not known this was a civilian shelter.” It seemed a clear-cut case of Muscovite barbarism in a savage war.

But days before the bombing, local reports warned that Ukrainian forces, specifically the Azov Battalion, were planning a false flag operation at the theater. Civilians would be endangered or even killed before the world’s watching eyes.

While it’s difficult to know what’s true in this conflict, numerous accounts paint the same picture: civilians being endangered, even killed, by Ukrainian forces, including Azov, in Mariupol who won’t allow them to move through humanitarian corridors.

The simplest explanation for the Drama Theater bombing is that Russia is at fault here. But these allegations, in the context of a war that has been distorted by misinformation, merit examination precisely because the incident had the supposedly desired effect. American pundits and politicians like Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois cited the bombing as cause for a no-fly zone. (Read more from “The Mariupol Theater Bombing” HERE)

Was Bombing of Mariupol Theater Staged by Ukrainian Azov Extremists to Trigger NATO Intervention?

By The Gray Zone. . .Western media have reported that Russia’s military deliberately attacked the Donetsk Academic Regional Drama theater in Mariupol, Ukraine, claiming that it was filled with civilians and marked with signs reading “children” on its grounds.

The supposed bombing took place just as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky appealed to US Congress for a no fly zone, fueling the chorus for direct military confrontation with Russia and apparently inspiring President Joseph Biden to brand Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, as a “war criminal.”

A closer look reveals that local residents in Mariupol had warned three days before the March 16 incident that the theater would be the site of a false flag attack launched by the openly neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which controlled the building and the territory around it.

Civilians that escaped the city through humanitarian corridors have testified that they were held by Azov as human shields in area, and that Azov fighters detonated parts of the theater as they retreated. Despite claims of a massive Russian airstrike that reduced the building to ashes, all civilians appear to have escaped with their lives.

Video of the attack on the theater remains unavailable at the time of publication; only photographs of the damaged structure can be viewed. The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied conducting an airstrike on the theater, asserting that the site had no military value and that no sorties were flown in the area on March 16.
