WATCH: Dem Confuses AR-15 for 10 Moving Boxes and a Heavy Machine Gun

. . .Introducing her new gun control legislation, Congresscritter Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) proved conclusively that she’s just too uninformed to go anywhere near the subject. She claims to have “held an AR-15 in my hand,” which weighed as much as “10 boxes that you might be moving.” She also claimed the rifle fired a .50 caliber round, and that “these kinds of bullets need to be licensed and do not need to be on the street.”

If Lee wants to ban 90-pound .50 caliber AR-15s, I say, “Why not?” While she’s at it, Lee could put a ban on flying cars, unicorns, and doing seven impossible things before breakfast. If Lee wants to get heavy .50 machine guns off the streets, well, first she’s going to have to get some on the streets.

Here’s Jason Howerton again to show you the difference between the .223 rounds fired by most AR-15s and an actual .50 caliber machine-gun round. Lee’s claim is a lot like mistaking a Cadillac Fleetwood 75 for a Smart Fortwo.

My AR-15 weighs about 7.5 pounds unloaded, and a bit more with a 10- or 30-round magazine filled with common .223 rounds. Or rather I should say it did, before I lost it and my banned 30-round magazines in a tragic fishing accident shortly before Colorado’s 30-round magazine ban went into effect. Other popular AR-15 attachments and modifications include scopes, laser designators, the chainsaw bayonet, and of course under-barrel landshark launcher. But even a fully-loaded and heavily modified AR-15 isn’t going to weigh anything near the same as ten moving boxes. “They show up with sex toys, they show up with lubrication,” Tucker said. “They show up with things that clearly somebody isn’t going to show up to a house with, unless they intended to engage in sexual activity.”

U.S. Navy Confirms: UFO Footage Is Real, and Were Never Meant to Be Seen by the Public (VIDEO)

A U.S. Navy spokesman confirmed in a statement to the website, The Black Vault, that videos of unidentified flying objects captured over the years and recently published in the media are authentic.

The videos were published in 2017 and 2018 by the New York Times, and show unusual flying crafts moving at high speeds thousands of feet in the air despite not having any apparent wings or visible engines, and not giving off any signs of propulsion like a traditional aircraft might.

In the videos, the pilots are heard confusedly speculating on what the aircrafts might be and expressing shock at how they move. Despite the earliest of these sightings in restricted military airspace having occurred in 2004, the objects still have not been identified. . .

“The Navy designates the objects contained in these videos as unidentified aerial phenomena,” said Joseph Gradisher, official spokesman for the deputy chief of naval operations for information warfare. “The ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ terminology is used because it provides the basic descriptor for the sightings/observations of unauthorized/unidentified aircraft/objects that have been observed entering/operating in the airspace of various military-controlled training ranges.”

Both the Pentagon and the Navy have confirmed that the videos were never cleared for public release. (Read more from “U.S. Navy Confirms: UFO Footage Is Real, and Were Never Meant to Be Seen by the Public” HERE)

Firestorm Over ‘Trump-Ukraine Scandal’ – Here’s How the President Responded

The latest Trump administration scandal that has consumed the mainstream media for the last 24 hours centers around the allegation that President Trump “repeatedly pressured” the president of Ukraine to investigate the son of former Vice President Joe Biden. While Trump’s critics are sounding the alarm over the allegedly scandalous call and “pressure” campaign, President Trump made clear in a comments Friday that he did nothing wrong and this is just “fake news” business as usual.

“The Radical Left Democrats and their Fake News Media partners, headed up again by Little Adam Schiff, and batting Zero for 21 against me, are at it again!” Trump tweeted Friday. “They think I may have had a ‘dicey’ conversation with a certain foreign leader based on a ‘highly partisan’ whistleblower[‘s] statement. Strange that with so many other people hearing or knowing of the perfectly fine and respectful conversation, that they would not have also come forward. Do you know the reason why they did not? Because there was nothing said wrong, it was pitch perfect!”

The tweets echo equally dismissive comments Trump made to the press Friday, stating that comments he made during his call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky were “totally appropriate,” and saying when pressed about asking him to investigate Biden, “It doesn’t matter what I discussed.” Trump also suggested that “somebody ought to look into that.”

The Biden matter involves the then-vice president pressuring Ukraine to oust a prosecutor general who investigated a gas company, Burisma Group, for whom his son, Hunter Biden, served as a board member. Biden says he pressed for the ouster of the prosecutor not to protect his son, but because he failed to adequately address the country’s corruption problems.

As detailed by The Daily Wire, the latest Trump scandal started with another anonymously sourced and rather vague report published by The Washington Post on Wednesday about a whistleblower making an unspecified major accusation about Trump’s conversation with a foreign leader. By Friday, The Wall Street Journal was reporting that “Trump repeatedly pressed Ukraine president to investigate Biden’s son.” (Read more from “Firestorm Over ‘Trump-Ukraine Scandal’ – Here’s How the President Responded” HERE)

Jeffrey Epstein Built Vast Fortune Through ‘Money Laundering, Spying and Arms Deals’; Why Did Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Jet Fly to Riyadh on the Eve of the 2016 Election?

By Radar Online. How did Jeffrey Epstein make his millions? The second episode of “Epstein: Devil in Darkness“ reveals some of his financier’s shady business practices and how he spent the money he made on them — namely, the lavish properties where he often entertained guests, including women who were allegedly and concerningly young.

“I was greatly impressed with his demeanor, his ability to understand complex securities underwritings and sales to investors,” Steven Hoffenburg, a former Wall Street executive said in particular about Epstein’s role in the infamous Towers Financial collapse when Hoffenburg was a chief executive officer. “He was also broke. He was literally without funds because he got into trouble in Europe.” Hoffenburg claimed that Epstein got involved in criminal activity including “money laundering, spying and arms deals in different countries overseas” to make money long before he ever got wrapped up with Towers Financial.

“Jeffrey Epstein participated full time and was a mastermind in that par of the Towers Financial crimes,” Hoffenburg explained in the podcast. When the Ponzi scheme collapsed in 1993, the exec was given 20 years in prison along with a $1 million fine and $463 million in restitution. Meanwhile, Epstein got away without charges. Instead, he made millions — and to this day, it’s not entirely clear how.

But with that money, Epstein bought properties. “The employees had to sign that they would never disclose any information,” Nancy Sowle revealed, while another former employee, Ean Royal, described one of the locations — a ranch — as “super lavish.” Epstein had a mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, which journalist Laura Goldman described in the podcast as being not “the grandest house on the block, but it was the most private.” He also owned a residence on 71st Street in Manhattan, which along with the Palm Beach home was allegedly the epicenter of his sex trafficking operation. Plus, there was the sprawling parcel of land in New Mexico he named Zorro Ranch. Several staff members from the property spoke out on the podcast and offered disturbing details about what transpired there. Why Did Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Jet Fly to Riyadh on the Eve of the 2016 Election?

By Insider. In August, Insider reported that Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet was spotted over the Arabian Peninsula on the eve of Election Day 2016. The available flight data was incomplete, however, leaving the Gulfstream’s final destination an open question. Now we have the answer.

According to the journalist Eric Rosenwald, who analyzed aviation data collected by the flight-tracking service Plane Finder, Epstein’s jet landed at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, at 6:35 p.m. local time on November 7, 2016. The flight pattern provides significant new evidence of Epstein’s rumored ties to the kingdom and its ruling family. . .

Two people of note were in Riyadh at roughly the same time.

The first person is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who at the time served as the kingdom’s Minister of Defense and Second Deputy Prime Minister. On November 8, the state-owned Saudi Press Agency reported that bin Salman, also known as MBS, and his father, the Saudi king, bestowed Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr., with the Order of King Abdulaziz, a civilian award for distinguished service to Saudi Arabia.

The second person is Jeff Bezos, the billionaire co-founder and CEO of Amazon. On November 9, the day Epstein’s jet returned to Paris, MBS held an unrelated meeting with Bezos, several Amazon executives, and two Saudi ministers. The Saudi Press Agency said they “discussed fields of cooperation and investment opportunities available according to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030,” the crown prince’s signature economic initiative.

Kevin Spacey Accuser Found Dead Ahead of Trial

An anonymous massage therapist who claims to have been sexually assaulted by Kevin Spacey has died, according to a notice filed in court by the actor’s attorneys.

The individual, suing as a “John Doe,” filed claims in September 2018 with the allegation of being forced to grab the actor’s genitals twice during a massage two years earlier at a private residence in Malibu. In May, a federal judge in California allowed the case to move forward despite Spacey’s objection that the plaintiff’s identity was being shielded.

Now, just a month after the parties came to a plan for proceeding in the suit that detailed prospective discovery and envisioned a seven- to 11-day trial, the plaintiff’s attorney has informed Spacey that the client “recently passed.” . . .

Spacey recently got out of another legal situation when criminal charges against him were dropped in Nantucket, Massachusetts. In that case, Spacey pleaded not guilty to felony indecent assault and battery, and prosecutors withdrew charges after the accuser — a teenage busboy — stopped cooperating.

The “John Doe” lawsuit subsequently represented the most significant legal situation for Spacey, who has been accused of sexually improper conduct against multiple individuals. In this case, as detailed in joint report filed in August, the plaintiff’s lawyers represented to the court two other alleged masseur victims of Spacey expressing “concern for their safety and/or do not want their names revealed publicly in the media.” (Read more from “Kevin Spacey Accuser Found Dead Ahead of Trial” HERE)

Restaurant Accused of Racism After Posting This Dress Code

A soon-to-be opened restaurant in Baltimore is being called racist because it posted a sign with one specific message: the restaurant has a dress code.

The Choptank, which alerted prospective customers that it will be “opening soon” on its website, posted a dress code listing some items that would be unacceptable to wear on its premises. . .

One Twitter user who described themselves as a photojournalist tweeted, “Dress CODED sign at the new Choptank restaurant in Fells,” followed by another tweet with a picture of the sign and a link to a Washington Post article about the restaurant.

The restaurant tweeted back, “Being new to the Fells Point neighborhood, we simply implemented the dress code standard that is used by several other properties in the area including Barcocina, Bond Street Social Moby’s and The Horse You Came In On. Have a great day.”

Another Twitter user added, “This is racist as hell and I will never enter your restaurant & will actively warn others away from it, have a great day.” Another added, “Y’all coulda saved yourselves some time @The_Choptank and just posed a ‘No Black People’ sign.” A writer for ELLE magazine tweeted that the restaurant had a “blatantly discriminatory dress code.” (Read more from “Restaurant Accused of Racism After Posting This Dress Code” HERE)

California Lawmakers Pass Resolution to Force Churches to ‘Embrace’ Homosexuality

California lawmakers passed a resolution this month telling “religious groups” — including Christian pastors and churches — to “embrace” the LGBTQ worldview, even if it contradicts the moral values of those religious groups.

Assembly Concurrent Resolution 99, introduced by Democratic Assemblyman Evan Low, also mentions what many believe are problems with so-called “conversion therapy,” or counseling for people struggling with same-sex attraction.

The resolution calls on “all Californians,” including religious groups, to “embrace” the “individual and social benefits of family and community acceptance” of LGBTQ people.

“[T]he Legislature calls upon religious leaders to counsel on LGBTQ matters from a place of love, compassion, and knowledge of the psychological and other harms of conversion therapy,” the resolution states. . .

“The stigma associated with being LGBTQ often created by groups in society, including therapists and religious groups, has caused disproportionately high rates of suicide, attempted suicide, depression, rejection, and isolation amongst LGBTQ and questioning individuals,” the resolution declares. Country Set to Criminalize Sex Outside Marriage

Indonesia’s government is pushing through a sweeping new penal code aimed at cracking down on behavior determined to be offensive to the country’s majority-Muslim culture, and is set to outlaw consensual sex outside marriage as part of the package. . .

Reuters reported that four parliamentarians confirmed the new criminal code “is due to be adopted in the next week,” and the final version includes a law that would make it illegal for citizens to have sex with a person other than their spouse. Violators could be sent to prison for up to one year.

According to the Institute for Criminal Justice Reform, millions of Indonesians could face prosecution under the pending law. The organization pointed to a study showing that 40 percent of adolescents in the country have had pre-marital sexual relations — and that’s just the young people in a country with a population of more than 250 million.

The Associated Press reported last year that the revisions to Indonesia’s criminal code were pushed by the country’s Islamic political parties, who are using “moral conservatism’ to “rouse their base.” (Read more from “Country Set to Criminalize Sex Outside Marriage” HERE)

If U.S. Claims of How the Saudi Oil Attack Went down Are True, Then the Failure to Prevent It Is a Huge Embarrassment

By Business Insider. . .The version of events being advanced by US officials, however — that most of the damage was from cruise missiles launched from Iran — raises the embarrassing question of why the US military was unable to do anything about it.

The airspace around Iran and Saudi Arabia is some of the best-defended and most intensively monitored on earth, thanks to the decades-long buildup of US assets there. But on Saturday those defenses failed to prevent what US officials have said were at least 17 separate strikes. . .

One former US Navy officer, who deployed to the Persian Gulf region twice to operate air-defense systems, said it would be nearly impossible for the US not to notice the attack as it happened or attempt to intercept the weapons.

“It’s very hard to imagine a salvo of 17 shots from Iranian territory not being picked up via some land and sea radars,” said the former officer who asked not to be identified discussing US military capabilities in the region. . .

There has been no evidence that US or Saudi radar systems picked up the incoming attack or that either military attempted to intercept the missiles before they struck the facilities. U.S. Satellites Detected Iran Readying Weapons Ahead of Saudi Strike, Officials Say

By NPR. U.S. surveillance satellites detected Iran readying drones and missiles at launch sites in Iran before Saudi oil facilities were attacked on Saturday, according to two Defense Department officials.

The imagery has not been publicly released. The officials tell NPR that U.S. intelligence views the activity as “circumstantial evidence” that Iran launched the strike from its own soil.

Saudi Aramco has said the attacks on its plants in Abqaiq and Khurais were “a result of terrorist attacks with projectiles.” Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen claimed responsibility for the attack, but U.S. officials have accused Iran of playing a key role.

Iran has denied any involvement.

The two officials say the U.S. Defense Department has sent a forensic team to Saudi Arabia to examine wreckage of drones and missiles used in the attack. Intelligence experts say the outcome of those examinations could provide “compelling and convincing” evidence that Iran was behind the attack.
