Trump Raises ‘Jaw-Dropping’ Amount of Money in a Single Day

By PJ Media. Everyone is aware of the incredibly large campaign kickoff event in Orlando on Tuesday, but the official launching of the reelection campaign was even more successful than just the incredible number of people who wanted to attend. The Washington Post reports that Donald Trump raised an incredible $24.8 million in less than 24 hours. That one-day total is more than any Democratic presidential candidate raised in the entire first quarter. . .

Joe Biden raised $6.3 million in the first 24 hours of his campaign launching and nearly $20 million to date. Bernie Sanders raised $20.7 million in the first quarter. (Read more from “Trump Raises ‘Jaw-Dropping’ Amount of Money in a Single Day” HERE)

Trump Stages His Greatest Show Yet

By Politico. . .As soon as Trump took the stage in his signature red tie, the crowd seemed pleased to have waited. They greeted him with “USA” chants as he recalled the “movement” he started four years ago.

“It turned out to be more than just a great political campaign. It turned out to be a great political movement because of you,” the president said, echoing the same nationalist message that became a staple of his first presidential run. “It’s a movement made up of people … who believe that a nation must care for its own citizens first.”

Fans camped out since dusk on Monday to secure a spot inside the 20,000-seat Amway Center. They began chanting familiar slogans as anticipation built for the evening’s main act and familiar characters took the stage. Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr., riled up the crowd with a series of attacks against Joe Biden, a telling sign that his father views the former vice president as his likeliest opponent. Vice President Mike Pence promised the crowd that four more years “means more jobs, more judges … and at least four more years to drain the swamp.” (Read more from “Trump Stages His Greatest Show Yet” HERE)

Radio Host Explains the REAL Story Behind Those ‘Absolutely Unreliable’ Polls Showing Trump’s Re-Election in Trouble

If you’ve seen any of the recent poll numbers that show President Donald Trump’s re-election bid supposedly in a heap trouble, take it with a grain of salt and some historical context, LevinTV host Mark Levin explained on the radio Monday night.

Levin ran down some historical polling numbers from past elections taken this far out in the cycle that were also way off in predicting who would win. The numbers were tweeted by NPR national political correspondent Mara Liasson:

“And yet these poll numbers — June 2019, way out from the election — are being treated as news; they’re not news.”

“They’re absolutely unreliable,” Levin added.

The media strategy in playing up polling this far out from the election seems pretty obvious.

“And so this is intended to drive down the president’s popularity for impeachment,” Levin concluded. “This is also intended to dispirit you. It shouldn’t dispirit you; it should turn you into aggressive activists.”

Levin went on to say that this doesn’t mean that the president is guaranteed to win in 2020 and that his victory is going to depend on his campaign and the input of activists.

Meanwhile, Democratic candidates in the 2020 field are working hard on policies that will alienate American voters, Levin said.

MUST SEE: CNN Cuts Away from Trump Rally After Crowd Breaks out in ‘CNN Sucks’ Chant; 2020 Dems Attack Re-election Campaign

By Breitbart. CNN cut away from President Trump’s massive reelection rally in Orlando Tuesday evening after the crowd broke out in a “CNN Sucks!” chant. . .

Trump explained that 2016 was not “merely another four-year election.” He said it was a “defining moment in American history” and pointed to the cameras in the back of the arena.

“Ask them right there,” he said of the media.

At that moment, the crowd broke out in a “CNN Sucks!” chant.

After the chant broke out, CNN briefly cut away from the rally.

Biden, Sanders Blast Trump After He Launches 2020 Campaign at Florida Rally

By The New York Post. Sen. Bernie Sanders livestreamed a surly response to President Trump’s first official campaign rally of the president cycle, while other Democratic 2020 hopefuls tweeted about it.

“It’s going to take me a little while to settle down because I just had the extremely unpleasant experience of watching Donald Trump in action for an hour and a half. Wow, and that was certainly something,” Sanders uttered to the camera in his low-budget rebuttal. “An hour-and-a-half speech of lies, distortions and total absolute nonsense.”

Sanders said he didn’t blame his supporters for being “discombobulated” after watching Trump – who used the Orlando, Florida, rally to revive some of his greatest hits, even asking the crowd what happened to his 2016 rival Hillary Clinton’s 33,000 emails. . .

“Let’s be clear: President Trump inherited a growing economy from the Obama-Biden administration,” a tweet from “Team Joe” read. “And now, he’s in the process of squandering it.” (Read more from “Biden, Sanders Blast Trump After He Launches 2020 Campaign at Florida Rally” HERE)

INCREDIBLE: Hong Kong Protesters Embrace Unexpected Christian Anthem

A hymn sung by Christian groups participating in the anti-extradition Hong Kong protests has caught on and become an unlikely anthem for the movement of millions in the streets.

For the past week, “Sing Hallelujah to the Lord” has been heard almost non-stop at the main protest site in front of the city’s Legislative Council, and at marches and tense stand-offs with police, Reuters reported.

Although only 10 percent of the population is Christian, church groups quickly rallied after being alarmed by reports of police brutality to make a safe haven for protesters as the government said it had to crack down on “organized riots.” . . .

“As religious assemblies were exempt, it could protect the protesters. It also shows that it is a peaceful protest,” Edwin Chow, 19, acting president of the Hong Kong Federation of Catholic Students, told Reuters. “This was the one people picked up, as it is easy for people to follow, with a simple message and easy melody.”

The simple hymn heard around Hong Kong was composed by Linda Stassen-Benjamin in the United States in 1974 for Easter.

Illegal Aliens Sue Border Patrol; Congress Shirks Its Duty at the Southern Border

By Townhall. The crisis along America’s southern border has continued to exasperate Border Patrol agents in the field and President Donald Trump, who is attempting to put an end to the flood of illegal aliens. Seven illegal aliens from Central American countries are suing the Department of Homeland Security because of overcrowding in Border Patrol facilities and the lack of access to legal representation, The Monitor reported. . .

According to the lawsuit, the illegal aliens want themselves, as well as others in the facilities, to be released on bond.

“Petitioners were apprehended in mid-May at or near the U.S. Border with Mexico and subsequently detained. Once apprehended, such persons are often detained for extended periods of time — on information and belief, up to six weeks — in overcrowded holding cells, with inadequate food, water, and sanitation facilities, where attorneys are not allowed to visit. The conditions in these holding cells are dangerous and inhumane,” the lawsuit stated.

The number of illegal aliens flocking to the United States’ southern border has overwhelmed Border Patrol resources. Instead of seeking asylum, like they have long touted, illegal aliens, primarily from Central America, now look for a Border Patrol agent, say they want to see an immigration judge and turn themselves in. They do this because they know of catch-and-release. They know the number of people flocking to the southern border has overwhelmed America’s immigration system. Border Patrol agents are having to leave the actual border to help process those who have simply walked across the border. (Read more from “Illegal Aliens Sue Border Patrol” HERE)

Congress Shirks Its Duty at the Southern Border

By Washington Examiner. The Trump administration is doing just about everything it can to slow the flood of undocumented Mexicans and Central Americans coming to the U.S. and claiming asylum. But alleviating our growing border crisis is impossible unless Congress changes our immigration laws.

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, was right when he said Tuesday during a congressional hearing on border security that there is “absolutely no justification whatsoever for Congress to sit on the sidelines and watch as this crisis continues to unfold.” The emergency on the border is “getting worse and worse as Congress sits on its hands and does absolutely nothing” to help.

The border pandemonium is literally fatal. Since December, six migrants have died while in the custody of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Five were children. This isn’t the fault of the Trump administration’s policies that aim to stanch the stream of illegal immigrants. It’s the result of a border patrol collapsing under the weight of hundreds of thousands of migrants making a dangerous and debilitating journey to the U.S. and needing urgent medical care as soon as they arrive. Movement Re-Engages for Donald Trump Re-Election; Media Admits No One Showed up to Anti-Trump Rallies

By Breitbart. Americans nationwide are preparing for President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign official launch on Tuesday evening in Orlando, Florida, by planning watch parties–hundreds of them–from coast to coast for those who cannot trek down to the Sunshine State rally but want to watch as part of a community.

From Maine to Alabama, from Washington, D.C., to New Hampshire, from North Carolina to Florida, from Nevada to Minnesota, and in so many other places nationwide, Trump supporters are holding watch parties for the president’s rally on Tuesday evening officially launching his re-election campaign in 2020.

Trump is expected to take stage right at primetime, at 8:00 p.m. ET, and many of these parties are beginning around 7:30 or some even earlier. Some are hosted by Republican officials, or Trump campaign officials, others by conservative groups–and some just by ardent Trump supporters doing so on their own. . .

The RNC’s Mike Reed, in a follow-up memo, wrote that “the numbers and enthusiasm we are witnessing is absolutely astounding – So far, over 250 training events are planned which will train a total of over 4,400 people. And over 700 MAGA meet-ups are planned, hosting nearly 12,000 attendees, to watch President Trump’s rally tomorrow night.”

Reed compares this to the Democrat side of the aisle, which has plans to train just 1,000 college students in a year’s time, according to a report in The Hill newspaper, which he scoffs at, noting that Republicans have done more in a week than Democrats are aiming to do in a year. 797 Trump Reelection ‘Watch Parties’ Set, Six Times the Number of #ImpeachTrump Events

By Washington Examiner. Hundreds of “watch parties” and Trump-Pence reelection training events are set to take place Tuesday as President Trump announces his bid for a second term at a massive rally in Orlando, Fla., according to campaign officials.

A total of 797 events are already planned to focus on the president’s announcement, and they will occur in every state, plus Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

That number dwarfs the 133 “#ImpeachTrump Day of Action” events Saturday that were sparsely attended, including one in front of the White House, prompting a mocking tweet from the president.

WATCH: AOC Has Shocking Revelations About Biden and Clinton’s Scandals with Women

During a Sunday morning interview with ABC’s “This Week,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) discussed various topics with Jon Karl. Two areas they focused on: whether or not former Vice President Joe Biden can woo female voters after allegations of sexual harassment and if Democrats gave former President Bill Clinton a “pass” on his treatment of women.

“So, Joe Biden appears to be the frontrunner according to all the polls,” Jon Karl said. “Do you think he has sufficiently answered the accusations from women who accused him of in appropriate touching? Does he, in short, does he get it?”

“I think that’s something that he has to show the electorate. I think that it is an issue where it’s a struggle. I’ll be completely honest. I don’t think that he has- I wouldn’t say that it is an incredibly severe, like I don’t think that voters think that he’s necessarily guilty of sexual misconduct or anything like that but I do think that there may be some discomfort, especially seeing some clips this week and the week before, telling the 13-year-old, telling her brothers to watch out for her,” Ocasio-Cortez explained. “I think there are somethings with female voters that it’s just not quite locked down. I think that there’s some ways to go but this is all solely cultural evolution that we’re having as a country, so I don’t necessarily think it’s about being punitive in these ways. But I do think, like in all issues and with all demographics and will all electorates, it’s not about right and wrong sometimes. It’s about what they’re feeling, like someone gets it or not.”

“I don’t think he’s necessarily convinced all women,” she said.

Biden Suggests Using Violence to Deal with Republicans

By Daily Wire. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden appeared to suggest using violence against Republicans on Monday in response to a question about how he as president would deal with opposition to his agenda in the Senate from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. . .

“Joy, I know you’re one of the ones who thinks it’s naive to think we have to work together,” Biden responded. “The fact of the matter is if we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens except the abuse of power by the executive.”

“There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight,” Biden continued, later adding: “Let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it.”

2020 Democrats Look to Cut into Biden’s Lead with Black Voters

By The Hill. Democrats seeking to cut into former Vice President Joe Biden’s lead with black voters addressed the Poor People’s Campaign in Washington on Monday, each making the case that they’re best equipped to address racial economic inequality in the U.S.

Biden and eight other Democratic presidential candidates spoke at Trinity Washington University, a predominantly black school on the northeast side of the city, where they detailed how they’d address the “systemic racism” they said had led to unfair economic outcomes for racial minorities.

Over the past few days, the Democratic contenders have proposed a raft of new policy ideas, from expunging criminal records for marijuana arrests to setting up multibillion-dollar funds to support minority-run businesses.

The proposals are aimed at winning over black voters, a key Democratic constituency that will play a major role in determining the party’s nominee, particularly in the early-voting state of South Carolina. (Read more from “2020 Democrats Look to Cut into Biden’s Lead with Black Voters” HERE)

Jesse Watters: Democratic Debate Lineups Put Elizabeth Warren in Unique Spot

By Fox News. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., appears to be the only top-tier Democratic candidate featured on the first of the two-night debates, according to Jesse Watters.

Warren’s position in the randomly selected debate placements puts her in a unique spot, Watters claimed Friday on “The Five.”

“With Liz Warren, it could go either way,” he said. “She could feel like she is left out and everyone is going to be punching up and attacking her constantly,” he continued, referring to the other candidates featured the first night – June 26 in Miami.

“Or, she could shine and she could really come out – and the media [would] all say Liz Warren obviously cleaned up in that first debate,” the “Watters’ World” host added. (Read more from “Jesse Watters: Democratic Debate Lineups Put Elizabeth Warren in Unique Spot” HERE)

New U.S. City Council Member: I Will Usher in Communism ‘by Any Means Necessary’

Newly elected far-left Denver City Council member Candi CdeBaca has stated that she is “excited to usher” in communism “by any means necessary.”

CdeBaca, who won in an upset runoff election earlier this month, said in late March during a candidate forum for City Council District 9:

I don’t believe our current economic system actually works. Um, capitalism by design is extractive and in order to generate profit in a capitalist system, something has to be exploited, that’s land, labor or resources.

And I think that we’re in late phase capitalism and we know it doesn’t work and we have to move into something new. And I believe in community ownership of land, labor, resources, and distribution of those resources.

And so, whatever that morphs into I think is what will serve community the best and I’m excited to usher it in by any means necessary. [Emphasis added]
