Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher posted a powerful video on Facebook related to abortion, and it has garnered millions of views.

The video was testimony from actor and Special Olympian Frank Stephens before Congress in 2017 where he defeated the notion that babies with Down Syndrome should be aborted by forcing those listening to acknowledge his right to life.

“Whatever you learn today, please remember this,” said Stephens in his testimony, “I am a man with Down Syndrome and my life is worth living.”

“Sadly, across the world, a notion is being sold that maybe we don’t need research concerning Down Syndrome,” he explained. “Some people say prenatal screens will identify Down Syndrome in the womb and those pregnancies will just be terminated.” . . .

“First, we are a medical gift to society,” Stephens explained, “a blueprint for medical research into cancer, Alzheimers, and immune system disorders. Second, we are an unusually powerful source of happiness: a Harvard-based study has discovered that people with Down Syndrome, as well as their parents and siblings, are happier than society at large. Surely happiness is worth something? Finally, we are the canary in the eugenics coal mine. We are giving the world a chance to think about the ethics of choosing which humans get a chance at life.”

Killer Kamala: Her Single-Payer Health Care Plan Would Slash Over a Million Jobs, Reveals EXTREME Idea for Gun Control Legislation

Her agenda calls for nearly $3 trillion in tax hikes, along with the single-payer health care. She made quite the announcement last night during a town hall event with CNN’s Jake Tapper. She wants to get rid of private health insurance. So, we’re nowhere near the Iowa Caucuses, and the far left is already working hard to give Middle America sticker shock for their trash economic agenda. . .To top it all off, Harris’ health care plan would nix over a million jobs (via NTK Network):

According to AHIP, which is a political advocacy and trade association for health insurance companies, Harris’s proposal would cost more than 1.4 million Americans their jobs. That’s according to AHIP’s 2017 report, which tracks those who were employed directly and indirectly by America’s private health insurance industry. . .

That’s over 1,420,000 Americans who could possibly lose their jobs because of Harris Medicare for all proposal. It’s not yet clear how many jobs Harris’s plan would create in a government-run system like Medicare For All.

Kamala Harris has an extreme idea to get gun control legislation passed

By AOL. While fielding a question about gun violence during a CNN Town Hall appearance, presidential hopeful Senator Kamala Harris called out Congress for the lack of gun control legislation.

And she even suggested “harsh” means to encourage Congress to introduce a new bill.Harris started her discussion about gun reform by saying: “You can be in favor of the second amendment and also understand that there is no reason in a civil society that we have assault weapons around communities that can kill babies and police officers.” . . .

Senator Harris became even more impassioned while discussing the inaction by congress following the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school shooting that took the lives of 20 children between the ages 6 and 7.

She said: “I think somebody should have required all those members of Congress to go in a room, in a locked room, no press, nobody else, and look at the autopsy photographs of those babies. And then you vote your conscience.” . . .

AGT’s Jackie Evancho Reveals Hollywood Pedophiles ‘Wanted to Hurt Me’ as Childhood Star

STUDY: This Supposedly Causes Alzheimer’s

Porphyromonas gingivalis, a key bacteria in chronic gum disease, appears to be the cause of Alzheimer’s disease, researchers believe.

A slew of recent studies has focused on the connection between gum disease and Alzheimer’s, and researchers from the firm Cortexyme now believe their latest study shows P. gingivalis as the cause of the tragic memory loss disease, not a symptom.

“Bacteria involved in gum disease and other illnesses have been found after death in the brains of people who had Alzheimer’s, but until now, it hasn’t been clear whether these bacteria caused the disease or simply got in via brain damage caused by the condition,” reports New Scientist. . .

Regarding the link between the bacteria and Alzheimer’s, the site explains that experimental mice engineered to have the disease were found to have worsened symptoms if they had gum infections. Also, P. gingivalis “can cause Alzheimer’s-like brain inflammation, neural damage, and amyloid plaques in healthy mice.”

“In the new study, Cortexyme have now reported finding the toxic enzymes – called gingipains – that P. gingivalis uses to feed on human tissue in 96 per cent of the 54 Alzheimer’s brain samples they looked at, and found the bacteria themselves in all three Alzheimer’s brains whose DNA they examined,” the site noted. Custom & Border Patrol agent Fernando Grijalva told Mireya Villarreal what he had seen at the border between the United States and Mexico in the state of Arizona. . .

“Let me put it this way, I’ve seen six different presidents in the time that I’ve been with the Border Patrol, and this is the worst crisis that I’ve seen,” he explained.

“You actually will use that word, ‘crisis’?” she asked.

Donald Trump Says He Would Be OK With Second Government Shutdown If Border Wall Doesn’t Get Funding

On Sunday morning, acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney told reporters that Donald Trump is willing to undergo a second government shutdown should Congress refuse to fund his border wall. According to the Associated Press, should an agreement not be reached, the shutdown will resume on February 15.

Mulvaney spoke to both Face the Nation on CBS and Fox News Sunday regarding the very real possibility that a second government shutdown might be on the horizon. If that occurs, all the government agencies that have just been reopened will once again be shut down — leaving a lot of federal workers scrambling to survive without a paycheck.

“What he wants to do is fix this the way that things are supposed to get fixed with our government which is through legislation,” Mulvaney said during an interview. . .

After an unprecedented 35-day federal shutdown that left 800,000 federal employees without work, Trump gave in and agreed to reopen the government — without any funding agreed in for his $5.7 billion border wall. Still Want to Boycott Israel? Israeli Scientists Find Cure for Cancer

For all the Israel-haters out there, they’d better hope that that Israelis are forgiving if they are stricken with cancer, because if a new report out of Israel turns out to be true, scientists in the Jewish state have discovered a cure. And not just a cure for certain forms of cancer, but a complete cure for the deadly disease.

According to Dan Aridor, chairman of the board of Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd. (AEBi) and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad, their treatment will not need time for the body to acculturate to it before it works. Aridor stated, “We believe we will offer in a year’s time a complete cure for cancer. … Our cancer cure will be effective from day one … and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market. Our solution will be both generic and personal.”

As the Jerusalem Post reports, “An estimated 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed worldwide each year, according to reports by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Further, every sixth death in the world is due to cancer, making it the second leading cause of death (second only to cardiovascular disease).”

The treatment is called MuTaTo (multi-target toxin), and works much like antibiotics do in targeting bacteria. MuTaTo is based on SoAP technology, which works by finding, binding and removing bacteria by utilizing bacteriophage-derived proteins. Bacteriophages are viruses that infect bacteria.

MuTaTo inserts DNA coding for a protein into a bacteriophage. Once inside, the protein shows up on the phage’s surface, making it apparent to researchers who can use the phages to find interactions with other proteins, DNA sequences and small molecules. Unlike 2018 Nobel Prize-winning scientists George Smith and Gregory Winter, who used phage display to evolve new proteins or antibodies, the Israelis are producing peptides, which Morad says are better equipped for the job because they are smaller, less expensive and less difficult to manage. Why the Democrats Cheered Trump’s Defeat, but Should Be More Panicked Than Ever

. . .To see leftwing activists so eagerly cheer the defeat (even temporarily) of some of the most broad-based (and in many instances—Democrat initiated) objectives as it pertains to common sense border security was disheartening.

Why Congressional and Senate Democrats would refuse the opportunity to take partial credit of creating an orderly border process is mystifying. Especially so when 78%-90% of Americans seek tougher border measures. Most of whom also believe that a border barrier is a key component to the multi-lateral security strategy. . .

When a party has a tight leash on the purse strings they are able to bully the masses into subjection on issues of conscience. Trump not only broke that chokehold he also simultaneously completely shifted the direction of the federal judiciary for a generation or more. Working quite closely with Majority Leader McConnell, Trump has nominated and has seen confirmed nearly as many judges in federal, appellate, and Supreme Court(s) in two years as the previous administration did in eight.

The left understands this, they were unprepared and are now fighting hard and dirty. Their precious vision of peacenik socialism, coupled with an ample servings of sexual anarchy, religious bigotry, and self superiority is once again slipping through their fingers.

They literally fight for everything that center-right America is not. Trump Announces Short-Term Deal to Reopen Government With No Wall Funding. What’s His Plan?

On Friday afternoon, President Donald Trump announced an agreement between Republicans and Democrats in Congress to temporarily reopen the government without funding for a border wall.

Trump said he would sign a continuing resolution to fund the government at current levels for a few weeks without the additional $5.7 billion he’s requested as a down payment to construct parts of the border wall. He alluded to the legal authority to declare a national emergency to build the wall without new appropriations from Congress but indicated that he will not take that action today.

“I am very proud to announce today that we have reached a deal to end the shutdown and reopen the federal government,” Trump said. “I have a very powerful alternative, but I didn’t want to use it at this time. Hopefully, it will be unnecessary.”

“In a short while, I will sign a bill to reopen our government for three weeks until February 15,” he announced. The president said he’s asked Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., to bring this legislation to the floor of the Senate immediately.

The president also said lawmakers have agreed to form a bipartisan conference committee to review requests from the Department of Homeland Security and law enforcement agencies for additional border security, including physical barriers on the border.

“We can show all Americans and people all around the world that both political parties are united when it comes to protecting our country and protecting our people,” Trump said.

Why would Democrats listen to a committee report on border security after they’ve already shown they won’t listen to President Trump, the DHS, and the Border Patrol agents who say a wall is necessary to secure the border? Trump is reopening the government without a win on border security or any sort of leverage to hold over the Democrats to force compromise on a wall.

What reopening the government does do is remove Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s excuse for disinviting Trump from delivering the State of the Union address, giving the president an opportunity to make his case for the wall next week. But Donald Trump is the president of the United States. If he wanted to give a big speech to make the case for border security, he didn’t need to give in to Pelosi’s sniping. Trump should have taken the initiative and delivered a speech elsewhere, highlighting that Pelosi and the Democrats were keeping the government shut down to oppose policies they’ve already voted for. But he didn’t do that.

Instead, Trump will reopen the government without a clear plan to get Pelosi to fund the wall. What’s going to change in three weeks? There’s no pressure on Congress to compromise if federal workers are getting paid, and given that we just survived a monthlong shutdown and Trump’s poll numbers tanked, what do Pelosi and Schumer care if the government closes again? And don’t forget about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and the Senate Republicans, several of whom opposed shutting down the government in the first place. Does anyone trust McConnell go along with another government shutdown after the first one failed to get wall funding?

President Trump concluded his remarks by referring to the border crisis as an “emergency.” So this all seems to be setting up a national emergency declaration. But suppose he does that and federal courts declare such a move to be illegal. Is President Trump prepared to defy the courts to build a wall in the absence of action from Congress? And if he cannot build the wall in his first term as president, when he started with full Republican control of government, what does that say about his ability to lead? Sarah Sanders: So Hillary Will Be Arrested Now Right?

Longtime Trump associate Roger Stone was arrested Thursday night for one count of obstruction, five counts of false statements and one count of witness tampering as part of the larger special counsel Russia investigation. The FBI raided his home and “terrorized” his family, Stone said outside a Florida courthouse Friday. He told a crowd of hecklers he plans to plead not guilty to the alleged crimes.

Of course, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders expected the press pool to ask her for her reaction to Stone’s arrest. But she wasn’t a fan of how some reporters framed their inquires, particularly the individual who suggested that President Trump encouraged Stone to lie to Congress.

Here’s the Draft of Trump’s Order Declaring a National Emergency to Build the Border Wall

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump is planning to declare a national emergency at the border and use the powers from such a declaration to order the construction of a border wall, according to a draft of the order published by CNN. . .

“The massive amount of aliens who unlawfully enter the United States each day is a direct threat to the safety and security of our nation and constitutes a national emergency,” reads the draft order.

“Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C 1601, et seq.), hereby declare that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States,” the draft says.

Critics of the president have warned that if he were to take such an action that it would likely be met with legal challenges. Even some Republicans have cautioned against using the emergency powers of the executive in this manner.

Trump Issues New Position on Border Wall as Congress Debates Deal to End Shutdown

By The Blaze. President Donald Trump signaled Thursday that he was willing to make a concession to Democrats on funding for his border wall in order to strike a deal and reopen the government.

The government has been partially shut down for 34 days, and is affecting about 800,000 federal employees directly.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders indicated that the president was willing to accept less than the $5.7 billion for border wall funding in a continuing resolution deal, as long as it contained a “down payment” for the wall.

Trump then addressed reporters on negotiations between Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to reopen the government on a continuing budget resolution.
