Tim Walz’ Teenage Son Enlightens Him On Why Young Men Gravitate Toward Trump

Minnesota Democratic Gov. Tim Walz turned to his high school aged son to figure out why President Donald Trump appeals to young men.

Trump made historic inroads with men, particularly those who are young, black or Hispanic, in the 2024 election, causing Democrats to ask themselves why they have lost the demographics in such large droves. Walz said that his son, Gus, explained to him that Trump “understands belonging,” and said that the Democrats failed to welcome young men into their movement.

“[Gus] is pretty in tune to this, but what he said was, he said, ‘dad, a lot of these young guys [aren’t] voting on the policy issues.’ And he wasn’t dissing them, he said they may know the policy issues, but most of them don’t. They’re doing it because there’s a sense of excitement, a sense of thrill in this, it’s entertainment or whatever. We all dismiss that. ‘Donald Trump’s a clown. Donald Trump’s rallies [are] a clown’ … But there’s a peripheral side of that that’s not criminal but is going down the same road of saying ‘you’ve got a place to belong.’” Walz said.

Walz compared the sense of belonging young Trump voters felt to being on a high school sports team, stating that they felt they were part of a movement and belonged.

“If you don’t give a kid a place to belong, they’ll go flying away,” Walz continued. “So while you want them to be involved in sports and music and things in school, because they will go find a group of folks. And I think Donald Trump understands belonging, he understands groups because look at it, he gives them a uniform, the red hat. He gives them some chance, some talking points, whatever, it’s not all that different than when we built sports teams in high school. You belong, you’re part of this.” (Read more from “Tim Walz’ Teenage Son Enlightens Him On Why Young Men Gravitate Toward Trump” HERE)

Girls Leave Podium When Forced to Share With Trans Athlete at State Championship

A pair of girls’ track and field athletes did not stand on the medal podium alongside a transgender athlete for high jump at the Oregon state championship on Saturday night.

Footage obtained by Fox News Digital showed the two high school seniors, Reese Eckard of Sherwood High School and Alexa Anderson of Tigard High School, step down from their respective spots on the podium next to a trans athlete who represented Ida B. Wells High School.

Eckard, in fourth place, and Anderson, in third, each finished ahead of the trans athlete, who tied for fifth place. But the two females faced the opposite direction as the other competitors received their medals from officials.

The footage then showed an official confront the two young women, and gesture for them to move away. Eckard and Anderson were then seen walking away from the podium and standing off to the side. . .

The trans athlete previously competed in the boys’ category in 2023 and 2024, Fox News Digital previously reported. (Read more from “Girls Leave Podium When Forced to Share With Trans Athlete at State Championship” HERE)

Smartphone Smuggled Out of North Korea Reveals the Insane Things Kim Jong Un Does to Control His ‘Suffocated’ People

A smartphone smuggled out of North Korea has revealed the astonishing levels of control the secretive dictatorship is exercising over its people.

The phone, which from the outside appears no different from a normal device, issued warnings about using South Korean slang words to users, and auto-corrected “South Korea” to read “puppet state,” an investigation from the BBC found.

It would also covertly take a screenshot every five minutes, storing the images in a secret folder which the user couldn’t access, but which presumably were accessible to North Korean authorities.

When the user tried to type in the word “oppa,” which means older brother in Korean, but has come to be used to refer to a boyfriend in South Korean slang, the phone would auto-correct the word to the more communist-friendly alternative, “comrade.”

A warning would then flash up, warning the phone’s user that the term “oppa” could only be used for older siblings, the BBC investigation found. (Read more from “Smartphone Smuggled Out of North Korea Reveals the Insane Things Kim Jong Un Does to Control His ‘Suffocated’ People” HERE)

Ukraine Launches Massive Surprise Attack, Dismantles Russian Nuclear Bomber Fleet: ‘A New Pearl Harbor’

Ukrainian forces stunned the Russian military Sunday after wiping out and damaging dozens of nuclear bombers and other aircraft with ambitious and complicated attacks that struck President Vladimir Putin’s air bases deep inside the country, Kyiv says.

Even pro-Moscow military bloggers are calling the strike — which used drones hidden in trucks — “the Russian Pearl Harbor.”

The attack came just a day before the leaders of Ukraine and Russia were potentially set to meet in Istanbul as part of US-backed cease-fire talks.

The mission carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) using first-person-view (FPV) drones hit 41 Russian heavy bombers and other warplanes at four separate airfields thousands of miles from Ukraine.

The cost of the destroyed aircraft, most of which Russia no longer even manufactures, is at least $7 billion, Kyiv said. (Read more from “Ukraine Launches Massive Surprise Attack, Dismantles Russian Nuclear Bomber Fleet: ‘A New Pearl Harbor’” HERE)

Top CNN Reporter Exits After Network Lost $5M Defamation Case Against Navy Veteran

A CNN correspondent at the center of a nefarious report that cost the network at least $5 million for defaming a US Navy veteran is leaving the struggling network.

Chief national security correspondent Alex Marquardt landed in hot water earlier this year after a Florida jury ruled that he defamed Zachary Young in 2021 by claiming the former soldier illegally exploited Afghans during the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from the country.

Sources told former CNN media correspondent Oliver Darcy that Marquardt was fired — citing “editorial differences” with his higher-ups at the network.

Marquardt — who worked at CNN for eight years and recently spearheaded its coverage of the Russian-Ukraine war — did not mention the legal debacle or the reason for his exit in announcing the departure Monday.

“Tough to say goodbye but it’s been an honor to work among the very best in the business,” Marquardt wrote in a post on X. (Read more from “Top CNN Reporter Exits After Network Lost $5M Defamation Case Against Navy Veteran” HERE)

Chinese ‘Kill Switches’ Found Hidden in U.S. Solar Farms

Chinese “kill switches” that could allow Beijing to cripple power grids and trigger blackouts across the West have been found in equipment at US solar farms.

The rogue devices, including cellular radios, were discovered in Chinese-made power inverters that are used to connect solar panels and wind turbines to electricity grids across the world, including the UK.

The hidden communications equipment could be deployed remotely to switch off inverters with potentially catastrophic results.

The discovery, reported by Reuters, will heighten concerns that China has installed covert malware in critical energy infrastructure throughout the US and Europe. The kill switches could be deployed at any time in the event of a confrontation between China and the West.

Over the past nine months, the suspect devices were found in inverters and batteries from multiple Chinese suppliers by US experts who strip down equipment to check for security issues before they are connected to power grids. Mom Who Sold Daughter, 6, so Her Eyes and Skin Could Be Cut Out and Used for ‘Medicine’ Gets Life in Prison

A mom who sold her 6-year-old daughter so her skin and eyes could be cut out and used by a “traditional healer” had been sentenced to life in prison in South Africa.

Racquel “Kelly” Smith, her boyfriend Jacquen Appollis, and their friend Steveno van Rhyn were all handed life sentences more than a year after the mysterious disappearance of Joshlin Smith from outside her home near Cape Town.

When Joshlin first disappeared, her mother was a figure of sympathy, and pictures of the girl’s striking green eyes, pigtails and broad smile were shared across the country.

Smith showed no emotion as her sentence was handed down, bringing an end to an eight-week trial that had to be moved to a local stadium so horrified members of the community could bear witness.

She admitted to selling her daughter to a traditional healer, or sangoma, for 20,000 rand ($1,100), and said the girl was desired for her “eyes and skin,” a witness told the court. ‘Trump Just Did the Impossible’: Rasmussen Finds That for First Time in Its Polling History, a Majority Reckons Country ‘Is on the Right Track’

By New York The Sun. Recent polls are music to President Trump’s ears, but Democrats are deaf to the melody. They’re wedded to the fallacy that Americans see the president as they do and will dance to their tune in next year’s midterm elections.

Ever since 2015, foes have denied that Mr. Trump has any appeal beyond what President Theodore Roosevelt dubbed “the lunatic fringe.” This is the “false consensus effect,” the belief that everyone shares your viewpoint. It’s manifesting in Democrats assuming that almost all Americans disapprove of Mr. Trump.

The numbers tell a different story. “Trump just did the impossible,” the Rasmussen Reports pollster, Mark Mitchell, wrote Tuesday on X. “For the first time in our polling history, a majority says the country is on the right track.”

In September, Rasmussen found the right-track number at just 34 percent. Mr. Mitchell noted that President Biden’s “approval was never higher than Trump’s is now,” at 42 percent. President Obama was also lower throughout his second term.

Since Democrats don’t think they need to persuade Mr. Trump’s voters, he’s free to play offense. He raids constituents like union members, minorities, and blue-state residents, pickpocketing Democrats who act as if they have voters to spare. New Rasmussen Data Shows 48% of Americans Optimistic About US Direction Amid ‘Uncharted Territory’ Status

By Just The News. A Rasmussen Reports poll on Monday found the pollster in “uncharted territory,” after nearly half of respondents believed that the United States was heading down the right track, and a rolling average overnight showed 50% of respondents said the same. . .

The numbers mark the highest rating for the country since Rasmussen Reports began conducting its “right track, wrong track” surveys nearly 20 years ago, according to the Daily Signal.

A rolling average of the past four nights also found that 50% of respondents believed the country is heading in the right direction, the pollster posted on X.

The numbers are a boost from the Biden administration, where only 32% of respondents believed the country was heading in the right direction last year, and 63% said it was heading in the wrong direction.

Vladimir Putin Issues His Conditions for Ending the War in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has put out a list of demands for ending the war in Ukraine — and they’re almost entirely unchanged from even before he launched his brutal invasion more than three years ago.

The authoritarian wants a written letter by Western leaders that they would not allow Ukraine to join NATO — a red line for the security alliance whose charter holds that any country can join if they are approved unanimously by its member states, three Russian sources told Reuters on Wednesday.

Putin further wants NATO to disavow more expansion to the east, also barring Georgia and Moldova from joining the alliance.

He also wants the West to lift sanctions on his country, whose economy has taken a harsh hit since the world protested his invasion of its sovereign neighbor.

Two other conditions — the unfreezing of Russian assets and “protection” for Ukraine’s Russian speakers — are also key desires, according to Reuters. (Read more from “Vladimir Putin Issues His Conditions for Ending the War in Ukraine” HERE)

Trump Confirms He Stopped a Major Military Strike —Here’s What We Know

President Donald Trump on Wednesday confirmed that he talked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu out of launching a military strike against Iran amid concerns over the regime’s nuclear program.

During a press conference, a reporter asked, “Did you warn Prime Minister Netanyahu against taking some actions that could disrupt the talks there in a phone call last week?”

“Well, I’d like to be honest, yes I did,” Trump replied.

The reporter asked what Trump said to Netanyahu during the phone call. “I just said ‘I don’t think it’s appropriate.’ We’re having very good discussions with him,” the president said.

Trump suggested that it would be better to “settle it with a very strong document … with inspections and no trust.”
