Illegal Alien Nabbed After Voting in U.S. Elections, Stealing $400K in Benefits Using Stolen Identity

An illegal immigrant from Colombia who had been living in the U.S. for decades was finally apprehended after allegedly voting in several U.S. elections and fraudulently collecting government benefits.

According to a federal indictment, Lina Maria Orovio-Hernandez was a Federal Grand Jury indicted for illegal national status after discovering she had been living in the U.S. unlawfully under a stolen identity and receiving at least $400,000 in rental assistance, Social Security, and food stamp benefits. She also allegedly obtained nine state IDs, including a Massachusetts Real ID, and applied for a U.S. passport.

Orovio-Hernandez has been accused of using a stolen identity to fraudulently register to vote in January 2023 and illegally cast a ballot in the November 2024 presidential election. She was captured on surveillance camera at a bank wearing an “I voted” sticker on Nov. 5, 2024, Election Day. Orovio-Hernandez is accused of illegally receiving around $400,000 in federal benefits, including over $259,000 in Section 8 housing aid, more than $101,000 in Social Security disability payments, and about $43,000 in food assistance, all over a span of several years.

U.S. Attorney Leah Foley emphasized that the illegal immigrant’s actions undermine the rights and support systems designed for American citizens and legal residents, calling the alleged crimes an insult to those who follow the law. She vowed that her office would continue to pursue and prosecute those who exploit the system. The Christian Israeli embassy staffer gunned down alongside his almost-fiancée in a terror attack outside the Capital Jewish Museum had long praised President Donald Trump’s leadership — both abroad and at home — as a blueprint for peace and strength, highlighting his refusal to start new wars and crediting him with preserving peace and making “the international system more secure” by confronting threats like Iran, China, and ISIS.

On Wednesday night, Yaron Lischinsky and his soon-to-be fiancée, Sarah Milgrim, were shot and killed by a gunman reportedly yelling “Free Palestine” before opening fire on attendees of a pro-Israel event in Washington, D.C. The killing is being investigated as a targeted act of terrorism motivated by antisemitic hatred.

President Trump said the killings, rooted in antisemitism, “must end, NOW!”

“Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA,” he added.

Lischinsky, a Christian who worked in the political department of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, had been a passionate advocate for peace through deterrence and moral clarity.

The New Details About the Israeli Embassy Staffers’ Assassinations Are Horrifying

The pair were also a couple, set to be engaged before being cut down by a rabid antisemite. Rodriguez chanted, “Free, free Palestine,” as he was taken into custody by police. This senseless act of violence was already heinous, but a new affidavit sheds new light on the brutality of this attack. Rodrguez fired a total of 21 shots. Ms. Milgram tried to crawl away, and Rodriguez followed and continued to shoot her. Jennifer Van Laar at RedState highlighted the key passage:

In summary, the video shows a slim build person, wearing a blue jacket with a hood, a large dark-colored backpack, blue pants, and light-colored shoes, consistent with the clothing worn by RODRIGUEZ, walking across F Street, Northwest, in the direction of the Museum and where the decedents were standing preparing to enter the crosswalk. Once RODRIGUEZ walked past the decedents and two witnesses, he turned to face their backs and brandished a firearm from the area of his waistband. RODRIGUEZ is captured on the video extending both his arms in the direction of the decedents and firing several times as indicated by the muzzle flashes.

Once the decedents fell to the ground, RODRIGUEZ is captured on the video advancing closer to the decedents, leaning over them with his arm extended, and firing several more times. As Decedent-1 attempted to crawl away from RODRIGUEZ, he followed behind her and fired again. After a brief moment, RODRIGUEZ appeared to reload his firearm. At the same time, Decedent-1 sat up. Once he reloaded, RODRIGUEZ fired several times at Decedent-1. RODRIGUEZ is then captured jogging back in the direction of 3rd Street, NW, and southbound in the direction of where the entrance to the Museum is located.

Doctors, Former Patients Warn of LASIK Eye Surgery Dangers: ‘Biggest Scam Ever Put On the American Public’

The suicide of a 26-year-old Pennsylvania police officer over the after-effects of the popular eye surgery LASIK was not an isolated incident, with others saying it left them with agonizing and life changing symptoms, patients and doctors told The Post.

LASIK providers say the procedure is 95% to 99% safe, but one LASIK survivor said she had suicidal ideations for two years after her “disastrous” surgery in 2000.

She also claimed to know of at least 40 people to have taken their own lives because they couldn’t take constant pain and vision problems, developed after the procedure.

“I really didn’t want to stick around at times, but I decided I would to get the word out about how dangerous this surgery can be,” Paula Cofer, 66, of Tampa, Fla., told The Post Wednesday.

“The LASIK lobby and the surgeons will tell you only one percent of patients have issues afterward. That’s not true. There are multiple studies that indicate otherwise.

Trump Forces Country’s President To Watch Video Of Leaders Calling For Genocide

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump forced the President of the Republic of South Africa to watch videos of the country’s leaders calling for the genocide of white farmers during a meeting in the Oval Office on Wednesday.

South African president Cyril Ramaphosa visited Trump for a bilateral meeting as well as a private lunch. In the middle of their public conversation, Trump ordered his staff to dim the lights and play videos of “genocide in South Africa” for attendees of the meeting.

The video montage showed different clips of political leaders from the minority party in South Africa calling for killing the Boers — a term that means “farmers” and refers to white South Africans — and supporters chanting along. Another clip showed what Trump said were a thousand burial sites of deceased white farmers in South Africa and their families lining up to pay their respects. For most of the footage, Ramaphosa faced forward or glanced at Trump instead of looking at the screen, which was to his right.

“Burial sites. Right here. Burial sites. Over a thousand white farmers and those cars are lined up to pay love on a Sunday morning. Each one of those white things you see is a cross. And there is approximately a thousand of them. They are all white farmers, the family of white farmers. And those cars aren’t driving. They are stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed,” Trump said.

Trump Did Something That Left the South African President Aghast

By Townhall. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s meeting with President Donald Trump was tense. It wasn’t a screaming match. Mr. Ramaphosa was calm and collected, but Trump showed the African leader footage of farm attacks and leaders of opposition parties clamoring about killing white farmers.

Trump assured Ramaphosa that he wasn’t trying to make him look bad, but the South African leader was aghast. He did try to push back on the claims of white genocide, said his government is strongly opposed to any race-based violence, and attempted to clear the air about the new legislation that aims to strip land from farmers.

Southwest Surprises Customers With Strict New Policy — the First of Its Kind in the Industry

. . .Southwest Airlines is implementing a surprising new restriction on portable chargers to keep these notoriously incendiary devices from bursting into flame mid-flight.

Starting May 28, passengers will be required to keep their power banks in plain sight, making the budget carrier the first to roll out a policy of this kind.

“Using portable charging devices while stored in a bag or overhead bin will no longer be permitted,” a Southwest spokesperson told Business Insider. “Nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of its customers and employees.”

The airlines will, however, allow passengers to keep the devices in their carry-on bags when not in use.

The logic is that the portable phone juicers run on lithium-ion batteries that can overheat and ignite, so keeping them in plain sight allows flight attendants to identify and extinguish the hazard before it’s too late.

“In the rare event a lithium battery overheats or catches fire, quick access is critical and keeping power banks in plain sight allows for faster intervention and helps protect everyone onboard,” a Southwest rep said, according to Fortune. First Black Member of Secret Service Finally Testifies to JFK Committee, Details Chicago Assassination Plot

The man John F. Kennedy called “the Jackie Robinson” of the Secret Service finally got to testify before a Congressional committee Tuesday — alleging fellow agents were often drunk on the job and there was a so-called “Chicago plot” to kill the president before his 1963 assassination in Dallas.

His head bowed, Abraham Bolden, 90, spoke with difficulty into a microphone when he addressed the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform by Zoom from his home in Chicago. The committee is probing the assassination of the president.

But the audio cut off immediately as Bolden began to speak, effectively muting his testimony on the live stream.

“On June 6, 1961, I walked into history,” said Bolden, according to a transcript obtained by The Post. “I was assigned to the White House detail in Washington, DC to assist in protecting the life of the president. And I never met a more human and fair-minded person than President Kennedy.”

Trump posted on Truth Social that Biden was “not for open borders” and that it was his staff who put the United States in “great danger.” The president called it “treason.”

“Joe Biden was not for Open Borders, he never talked about Open Borders, where criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes, can flow into our Country at will,” Trump wrote. “It wasn’t his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through now. It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen. They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger.”

“This is TREASON at the Highest Level! They did it to destroy our Country. The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted. All anyone has to do is look up his record,” he continued. “Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along. Donald Trump Accuses People Around Joe Biden of Treason

The comment was posted by Trump on his Truth Social website on Tuesday. . .

Trump initially released a statement wishing his predecessor a “fast and successful recovery,” but he now joins the chorus of Republican voices accusing Democratic officials of covering up for an elderly president who was unable to properly govern.

Trump Suggests Biden Diagnosis Could Be Part Of Bigger Conspiracy

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump suggested on Monday that there may be a larger conspiracy at work following former President Joe Biden’s cancer diagnosis.

Trump addressed Biden’s stage four prostate cancer diagnosis while in the Oval Office, calling the situation “very sad.” The president added that people should look into how Biden’s cancer developed into a dangerous situation with no earlier detection.

“If it’s the same doctor who said there was nothing wrong there, that’s being proven to be a sad situation,” Trump told reporters. “In other words, there are things going on that the public wasn’t informed. And I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor, if it’s the same or even if it’s two separate doctors. Why wasn’t the cognitive ability — why wasn’t that discussed? I think the doctors said he’s just fine, and it’s turned out that’s not so. It’s very dangerous. Look, this is no longer politically correct. This is dangerous for our country.”

Biden’s team announced Sunday that the former president had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” cancer, which has spread to his bones. Since, many doctors have come forward to express concern about how the cancer was caught so late.

Doctors and cancer experts told the Daily Caller that Biden likely had cancer while he was in the White House. Such a type of cancer, the metastasization from prostate cancer spreading to the bones, typically takes at least five years, experts told the Caller.

A Medical Doctor Dropped a Bombshell on MSNBC About Biden’s Cancer Diagnosis

By Townhall. . .It’s a cover-up—Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, Rahm’s brother, an oncologist and a fellow at the left-wing Center for American Progress, admitted on MSNBC. Though he didn’t say it outright, he told host Joe Scarborough that cancer doesn’t metastasize to your bones in 100-200 days. Dr. Emanuel said that Biden had had this cancer for years, likely at the start of his presidency in 2021.

“Oh yeah. [Biden] did not develop it in the last 100, 200 days. He had it while he was president, he said. “He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021. Yes, I don’t think there’s any disagreement about that.”

Biden was the president of the United States. The health of this person is checked every year. He’s at an age where a prostate exam is done annually. Did the White House medical staff not know or miss this? Doubtful. Emanuel isn’t a fan of the test regarding accuracy, but he also added that if Biden had taken it, there would’ve been obvious signs of trouble.

Study: Long COVID ‘Brain Fog’ Linked to Inflammation, Stress Markers

A new study indicates the debilitating “brain fog” suffered by millions of long COVID patients is linked to changes in the brain, including inflammation and an impaired ability to rewire itself following COVID-19 infection.

United Press International reported this week that the small-scale study, conducted by researchers at Corewell Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Michigan State University, shows that altered levels of a pair of key brain chemicals could be the culprit.

The study marks the first time doctors have been able to provide scientific proof that validates the experiences of the approximately 12 million COVID “long-haulers” in the U.S. who have reported neurological symptoms.

Researchers looked at biomarkers in study participants and found that those complaining of brain fog had higher levels of an anti-inflammatory protein that is crucial to regulating a person’s immune system, UPI reported. They also showed lower serum levels of nerve growth factor, a protein vital to the brain’s plasticity.

The study examined 17 COVID-19 patients, including 10 who still experienced symptoms six months after contracting the virus. The most debilitating symptom is brain fog, described by Yale Medicine as “sluggish” thinking, forgetfulness, difficulty processing information and an inability to focus or concentrate on tasks they used to complete with ease.
