New Poll Spells Doom for Democrats in the Midterms

New polling suggests President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have lost voters’ trust on important issues heading into the 2022 midterms, where the Republican Party is expected to pick up key seats.

Despite Biden’s temporary bump in national approval after defending Ukraine’s sovereignty in his recent State of the Union address, 57% of voters said they disapproved of his job performance amid inflation and high gas prices, according to new Wall Street Journal polling released Friday. The poll, which surveyed 1,500 known registered voters, was conducted online and via phone between March 2 and March 7 and had 2.5% margin of error.

Voters indicated they no longer trust the Democratic Party to handle COVID-19 and public education issues to the extent as in the WSJ’s previous November 2021 polling. While 41% still believe the Democratic Party is better equipped to handle the nation’s COVID-19 response, only 38% of voters believe the Democrats’ plan improves public education, the poll shows.

The Big Lie! Joe Biden Casts Doubt on Legitimacy of Midterm Elections

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden questioned the legitimacy of the 2022 midterm elections, after repeatedly lecturing former President Donald Trump and Republicans for casting doubts on the 2020 presidential election.

During a press conference at the White House, Biden was asked by a reporter if he believed the upcoming elections would be fair and legitimate.

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election,” Biden replied.

Biden recalled that Americans had the highest voter turnout during the 2020 election even though it was held in the middle of a pandemic.

He raised concerns that Republicans were making it more difficult for minorities to vote, calling into question the results of future elections. (Read more from “The Big Lie! Joe Biden Casts Doubt on Legitimacy of Midterm Elections” HERE)

Biden Says Upcoming Elections Could ‘Easily Be Illegitimate’

By Daily Caller. resident Joe Biden wouldn’t outright say Wednesday whether he believes the upcoming election results will be legitimate if his election bills don’t pass.

Biden is pushing for passage of the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, which would nationalize federal election laws. Republicans have blocked efforts to nationalize federal election laws, often arguing it subverts the Constitution.

The president, speaking to reporters at a formal press conference at the White House, was asked about the passage of his election bills and whether he believes the upcoming election would be fair without them. Biden appeared to dodge directly answering, telling the nation it “depends.”

“It all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try and alter the outcome of the election,” Biden said. “And it’s one thing – look, maybe I’m just being too much of an optimist. Remember how we thought not that many people were going to show up to vote in the middle of a pandemic? We had the highest voter turnout in the history of the United States of America.” (Read more from “Biden Says Upcoming Elections Could ‘Easily Be Illegitimate’” HERE)

By The Federalist. Federalist Publisher Ben Domenech called for 2022 to be a year of reckoning “where we say enough, no more” to the elite double standards and left-wing propensity to dismiss political dissidents as enemies of the state.

“Before we turn the page on the year of our Lord 2021, it is time in this closing week to take stock of all that we learned this year: the frauds that were exposed, the evils we learned to hate, and the truths we woke up to about who we are and who we hope to be,” Domenech said on Fox News “Primetime” on Tuesday. “The images of 2021 that will stick in our minds are many.”

Democrats Face a Year of ‘Reckoning’ as Americans Reclaim Their Sense of Normal: Ben Domenech

By Fox News. Federalist publisher Ben Domenech on Tuesday called for a “reckoning” in the new year, urging Americans to “demand more of our nation, our neighbors and ourselves” and reject the chaos, crime, and flagrant abuses of power that have become commonplace.

Reflecting on the top stories of 2021, the “Fox News Primetime” host delivered an impassioned opening monologue encouraging viewers to reclaim their sense of “normal” after years of disruptive far-left policies.

“It is time in this closing week to take stock of all that we learned this year, the frauds that were exposed, the evils we learned to hate, and the truths we woke up to who we are and who we hope to be,” Domenech said. “A year that began with a promise that now we could return to normal and ended with a horrifying possibility that this, all of this terrible this is normal now.”

Domenech outlined the top stories of the year, including the war between parents and school systems, the increased divide between the elite class and the American people, the surging crime rates as a result of far-left bail reform policies, and the ugly “truths” exposed by a pandemic that continues to rage in various parts of the world. Democrats Worried About Voting Turnout in 2022 After Republican Voting Laws

Democratic activists, politicians and staffers are highly concerned about their ability to turn out voters in 2022 given recent changes Republicans have made to election laws.

Republicans have introduced election laws in a number of states across the country since the 2020 election, many of which are primarily aimed at undoing pandemic-related provisions within election procedures. Laws in Georgia and Texas have drawn particular scrutiny for allegedly being tools for voter suppression. . .

The Republican laws contain provisions that would both expand and restrict voting access in certain ways. Some pandemic-induced features of elections, such as drive-in voting, 24-hour voting or expanded use of mail-in ballots, are being scaled back or entirely eliminated. However, Georgia’s law expanded early voting hours, as does Texas’.

Democrats can’t agree on exactly which parts of the laws they’re most opposed to, Politico reported. Some activists are also growing frustrated that elected officials aren’t doing enough to counter the new Republican laws. Report: Ivanka Trump Rules Out Challenging Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate

Amid speculation that one or more members of former President Donald Trump’s family will launch primary challenges against incumbent Republicans in the upcoming 2022 midterm election year, at least one Trump has reportedly ruled out doing so.

The New York Times reported that Ivanka Trump will not run against Sen. Marco Rubio (R) in the 2022 Florida GOP Senate primary. Ivanka, her husband Jared Kushner, and their family moved to Florida permanently after her father’s presidential term ended. Since the move, rumors have swirled that Ivanka Trump would seek statewide office, possibly challenging Rubio for Senate.
