Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri appeared ​in a video released Saturday — the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks — raising questions over his rumored death.

The US-based SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks jihadist groups online, tweeted about the existence of the video, saying Zawahiri made comments about events that occurred after speculation first emerged that he’d died.

​​”Amid rumours of his death, Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri shown in a new 60-minute video, this time offering some evidence that he is not dead​ – ​particularly, reference to events after December when rumors of death surfaced,” SITE director Rita Katz tweeted.

The video was entitled “Jerusalem will not be Judaized” and was released by As Sahab Media, the terror group’s propaganda arm. ​

Zawahiri mentioned a raid on a Russian military base by the ​al Qaeda-aligned Hurras al-Deen in Syria, which the group said occurred on Jan. 1 — after rumors began circulating of his death in November. FBI Releases Newly Declassified Document on 9/11 Saudi Link (VIDEO)

The FBI declassified and released a 16-page document Saturday revealing the logistical support given to two Saudi hijackers before 9/11.

The document outlines an interview that the FBI conducted with a Saudi man who was in frequent contact with other Saudis in the U.S. and who gave the hijackers “significant logistical support.” Fifteen of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudis, according to Fox News.

In 2018, families of 9/11 victims asked former President Donald Trump to declassify files related to 9/11.

“Documents are important for us because they reveal the extent of Saudi Arabia’s involvement with the terrorists and the attacks, and those documents also reveal the way in which both U.S. presidents and top officials quashed the investigation and covered up the Saudi role,” said Jim Kreindler, a lawyer for the families of 9/11 victims said.

By The Federalist. The 9/11 tragedy and two decades of responses to it will never rest easy in the minds of those who lost loved ones, or still suffer scars from the trauma of the deadliest attack on our own soil. This year’s anniversary has most outraged about the reemergence of the Taliban, the irresponsible way this administration exited Afghanistan, but mostly the idea that some Americans and allies are expendable.

We broke our promise, we violated our honor, and we have invited harsher terrorist attacks in the future, with our own hardware. President Biden’s foolish decisions dishonor the memory and heroism of the thousands of people who died in the towers, in the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania, and the many more brave Americans in the military who died in the 20-year War on Terror.

To be fair, the Bush administration also made hasty mistakes amid a desire to spike the ball and declare “Mission Accomplished.” But lessons are supposed to be learned so mistakes are not repeated. For Team Biden, it should never have been about when we would leave Afghanistan, but how.

Unfortunately, Biden has allowed his administration to be overrun with overconfident, ideological warriors, who may read intelligence reports but do not believe or learn from them. Replete with the best degrees, and long pedigrees earned by slavish commitment to all the politically correct causes, there is a ruling class in this administration that always knows best, blames America, and cynically relies on national media to cover up for all the errors and omissions of socialism, globalism, and elitism.

It is all so depressing and alarming and predictable. Our president is barely able to read cue cards, and the vice president has no-clue cards.

This national shame and confusion run contrary to the way Americans responded to 9/11. We came together with a near-universal belief that those who attacked America needed to be brought to justice. Biden Marks 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Criticizing ‘Dark Forces’ in America Against ‘Peaceful Religion’ of Islam

By Breitbart. President Joe Biden marked the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by criticizing Americans for the anti-Muslim anger that occurred in the United States after the attacks took place.

“We also witnessed the dark forces of human nature. Fear and anger. Resentment and violence against Muslim-Americans — true and faithful followers of a peaceful religion,” Biden said in a prerecorded video published for the occasion.

The president said that the principle of “unity” in the country was endangered by the attacks but ultimately prevailed. . .

Trump Releases Ad Remembering 9/11

Former President Donald Trump has released an ad recalling the bravery and sacrifice of Americans during the 9/11 attacks.

The just over two-minute video, titled “You Will Never be Forgotten,” was sent out by Trump’s Save America PAC on Friday. . .

“We honor their sacrifice by pledging to never flinch in the face of evil and to do whatever it takes to keep Americans safe,” he said.

“We grieve together for every mother and father, sister and brother, son and daughter, who was stolen from us at the twin towers, at the Pentagon, and here in this Pennsylvania field.”

Two More 9/11 Victims Recently Identified

The New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) has announced the identification of two more people who perished due to the heinous September 11, 2001 terror attacks on the World Trade Center.

“Dorothy Morgan is the 1,646th person and a man whose name is being withheld at the request of his family is the 1,647th person to be identified through ongoing DNA analysis of unidentified remains recovered from the disaster that claimed the lives of 2,753 people,” according to the OCME.

“The identification of Dorothy Morgan was confirmed through DNA testing of remains recovered in 2001. The identification of the unnamed man was confirmed through DNA testing of remains recovered in 2001, 2002, and 2006,” the news release noted. “The two identifications are the first new identifications of World Trade Center victims since October 2019. Some 1,106 victims, or 40% of those who died, remain unidentified.”

Report: More Deaths From 9/11-Linked Illnesses Than in Attack

More people are believed to have died from illnesses related to 9/11 than were killed on the actual day of the Al-Qaeda attacks on New York and Washington, according to a report published on Tuesday.

The September 11 Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) has received more than 67,000 claims since it reopened in 2011.

Nearly 3,900 of those claims were filed on behalf of someone who is alleged to have died of a 9/11-related illness, the VCF said in a report.

“That means that the number of people believed to have died of a 9/11-related illness subsequent to 9/11 has now exceeded the number of people who died on 9/11,” said Rupa Bhattacharyya, the “special master” who administers the fund. Sept. 11 Mastermind Smiles, Waves as He Returns to Gitmo Court

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, appeared inside Guantanamo Bay’s war court for the first time in more than 500 days on Tuesday following another massive delay in the case due to COVID-19.

Mohammed, dubbed “KSM” and described as “the principal architect of the 9/11 attacks” in the 9/11 Commission Report, and some of his co-defendants were smiling and bantering with each other and their lawyers, with KSM briefly waving to the gallery.

KSM was a close ally of Osama bin Laden and was repeatedly waterboarded during numerous sessions while in U.S. custody. He is being tried alongside four co-defendants: his nephew, Ammar Baluchi, who sent money transfers to 9/11 hijackers inside the United States; alleged hijacking trainer Walid bin Attash; 9/11 facilitator Ramzi bin Shibh; and al Qaeda money man Mustafa Hawsawi.

Mohammed looked much different in court on Tuesday than he did in his infamous post-capture scowling picture in 2003 when he was overweight, mustached, and disheveled in a stretched T-shirt. He is trimmer now, and his gray beard has been dyed a reddish-orange. He was wearing a white robe, a Pashtun-style hat with a black wrap and a white cap, and white socks with sandals. He wore a dark mask when he was led into the courtroom by military guards but took it off when he sat down. He smiled and talked animatedly with his legal team and with his fellow al Qaeda members. Son of 9/11 Victim Tells Biden Not To Come to Ground Zero for 20-Year Memorial Ceremonies

The son of a victim of the Sept. 11 attacks condemned President Joe Biden as the “killer in chief” Monday and told him not to attend 20-year memorial ceremonies at Ground Zero.

Biden displayed a lack of sympathy for the families of the 13 American service members killed in the attacks at Kabul’s airport, said Nic Haros Jr., whose mother died on Sept. 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center.

Former FBI Agent Says 9-11 Hijackers Had U.S.-Based Support

At least two of the 9-11 hijackers probably had a U.S.-based support network, according to a former FBI agent.

Danny Gonzalez worked on “Operation Encore,” the still-secret investigation into the two Saudi hijackers who were based in San Diego. Gonzalez told CBS News he’s confident the records of that operation will show the hijackers had help.

“19 hijackers cannot commit 3,000 mass murders by themselves,” Gonzalez told the network.

President Biden signed an executive order Friday directing the Department of Justice to oversee a declassification review of some documents related to the 9/11 attacks, after pressure from families of victims who are demanding to know if Saudi Arabia helped the hijackers. The DOJ must release any declassified documents in the next six months.

Biden Signs Executive Order Calling for Declassification Review of 9/11 Documents

President Joe Biden signed an executive order on Friday directing the Department of Justice and other government agencies to review documents related to the FBI’s 9/11 investigations for potential declassification — fulfilling a campaign promise just days before the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

Biden’s order requires Attorney General Merrick Garland to release the declassified documents publicly over the next six months.

“We must never forget the enduring pain of the families and loved ones of the 2,977 innocent people who were killed during the worst terrorist attack on America in our history,” Biden said in a statement Friday. “For them, it was not only a national and international tragedy. It was a personal devastation.”

The president’s executive order came after nearly 1,800 Americans directly affected by the attacks issued a statement last week, opposing Biden’s participation in any memorial events this year unless he upholds his pledge to declassify the documents, evidence they believe may show a connection between Saudi Arabian leaders and the events.
