Report: Families Affected by 9/11 Ask Biden Not to Come to Memorial Events

A group of families of victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, along with survivors and first responders, will issue a statement Friday asking President Joe Biden not to attend memorial events unless he releases classified information, according to NBC News.

The group, numbering nearly 1,800, is requesting Biden skip events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the tragedy unless he declassify documents they believe demonstrate the involvement of Saudi officials in the attacks, NBC News reported. The Bush, Obama and Trump administrations each declined to declassify the information.

“Since the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission in 2004 much investigative evidence has been uncovered implicating Saudi government officials in supporting the attacks,” the group said in the statement, according to NBC.

“Through multiple administrations, the Department of Justice and the FBI have actively sought to keep this information secret and prevent the American people from learning the full truth about the 9/11 attacks,” the group said.

INSANE USA Today Editor : Republicans Who Ousted Cheney Are a Greater Threat Than 9/11 Hijackers

USA Today Deputy Editorial Page Editor David Mastio authored an op-ed Thursday charging that House Republicans who voted for a change in leadership were a greater threat to the republic than the 9/11 hijackers.

Mastio characterized the recall vote on Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s role as Republican conference chair as a singular referendum on President Donald Trump’s claim the November election was stolen, which Mastio decries as “The Big Lie,” a comparison to the Nazi propaganda campaign which led to Holocaust. Cheney’s opponents, therefore, are Trump’s co-conspirators on a mission to overthrow the government.

“As surely as the terrorists of 9/11 wanted to tear down American democracy in 2001, the terrorists of Jan. 6 want to tear down our democracy as well, even as they pose as its defenders,” Mastio wrote. “And unlike the Sept. 11 attackers, they are going to get another chance.”

GOP Lawmaker Caves On Democrats’ 9/11-style Commission To Investigate Capitol Riot

Republicans on the House Homeland Security Committee have caved to Democrats’ demands for a 9/11-style commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

GOP Rep. John Katko, the ranking member on the committee, led negotiations with the Democrats to reach a consensus about the commission. His support for the commission is being marketed by the corporate media as “bipartisan support, but the New York representative is one of few Republicans in the House who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump the second time Democrats targeted him. Katko also blames Trump for causing the “insurrection” at the Capitol.

“By deliberately promoting baseless theories suggesting the election was somehow stolen, the president created a combustible environment of misinformation, disenfranchisement, and division. When this manifested in violent acts on January 6th, he refused to promptly and forcefully call it off, putting countless lives in danger,” Katko said in a statement in January.

Pelosi previously proposed having an 11-member committee dominated by seven Democrats while Republicans would have only four members. House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Democrat Bennie Thompson of Mississippi and Katko, however, decided a 10-person committee with equal partisanship is necessary to move forward. Alleged 9/11 Mastermind to Receive U.S. COVID Vaccine

Here’s a real kick in the shin: chances are accused 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will get the COVID vaccine before you do.

Accused terror masterminds like KSM and other detainees at Guantanamo Bay will begin receiving the coronavirus vaccine, the Pentagon confirmed Friday, even as the United States continues to experience severe shortages of the miracle jab.

A spokesman for the Department of Defense confirmed that officials had signed an order which will see COVID-19 vaccinations “offered to all detainees and prisoners.” . . .

“It will be administered on a voluntary basis and in accordance with the Department’s priority distribution plan,” spokesman Michael Howard told The Post.

Forty detainees remain at the United States military prison in Cuba, including the man accused of plotting the worst attack on US soil, which claimed 2,977 inncocent lives on Sept. 11, 2001, and has since been linked to thousands of other deaths. Man Charged With Conspiring to Hijack Aircraft for Brand-New 9/11 Terror

A federal indictment accuses a Kenyan national of getting pilot training and researching how to conduct a 9/11-type of attack on the United States at the direction of the Muslim terrorist group al-Shabaab.

The plot was halted when the Kenyan, Cholo Abdi Abdullah, was arrested, the Department of Justice said.

He was charged with six counts of terrorism-related offenses, including conspiring to hijack an aircraft to conduct a 9/11-style attack.

Abdullah was arrested in July 2019 in the Philippines on local charges. He moved into the custody of U.S. law enforcement just this month for prosecution, the DOJ said Wednesday.

NAACP Hammered for Calling the Terrorist Attacks on 9/11 a ‘Horrific Incident’

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was slammed on Twitter on Friday for the tweet their account sent for the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11. In their post, the NAACP said their organization is remembering “all the lives lost and families affected during the horrific incident that occurred in 2001.”

Children Born on 9/11 Will Vote for First Time in November

. . .Members of Generation Z — those born in 1996 or later — were initially dubbed “Homelanders,” a moniker associated with their birth, the creation of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the more-than-a-decade-long “War on Terror.”

Now, 19 years later, many of those children have graduated from high school and are, once again, stepping out into an uncertain future. . .

Together, “Gen Z” and millennial voters will account for 37% of eligible voters this year, according to a study by Pew Research.

Examination of detailed age data released by the Census Bureau earlier this year revealed that more than half of the nation’s total population are now members of the millennial generation or younger. . .

American Flags Traditionally Hung After 9/11 Are Getting Taken Down in New Jersey

Local officials in New Jersey are criticizing the state’s turnpike authority for allegedly taking down American flags that were hung along overpasses in the wake of the attacks on Sept. 11 to honor veterans and those who died defending the country, according to authorities and reports.

Michael Slininger, president of the police union representing Robbinsville Township, near Trenton, said the group had just paid to replace the more than 12 flags that had been either “missing or tattered” from the overpasses along the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 195 – which they had done “to continue the tradition of honoring our veterans and those lost in service for our country.”

“American flags have been flown on overpasses throughout the state and throughout the nation since 9/11,” Slininger wrote Monday on a post to the Robbinsville Township Police Benevolent Association’s Facebook page. “Now, as we approach the anniversary of that horrific day, we are extremely disappointed to announce that the NJ Turnpike Authority saw fit to remove all flags on overpasses covering the N.J.T.P. last week, replacing them with signs citing … a code which is meant to apply to advertisement material or improper road signage.”

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority told News 12 New Jersey it’s had a “longstanding policy” that prohibited “the display of any flags, signs or banners by private parties on Turnpike Authority property.”

“While we appreciate the desire of some New Jersey residents to express their patriotism in these turbulent times by displaying flags on turnpike and parkway overpasses, Turnpike Authority regulations do not allow it,” the statement continued. ‘Complete Government Cover-Up’: FBI Accidentally Reveals Name of Saudi Official Suspected of Directing Support for 9/11 Hijackers

The FBI inadvertently revealed one of the U.S. government’s most sensitive secrets about the Sept. 11 terror attacks: the identity of a mysterious Saudi Embassy official in Washington who agents suspected had directed crucial support to two of the al-Qaida hijackers.

The disclosure came in a new declaration filed in federal court by a senior FBI official in response to a lawsuit brought by families of 9/11 victims that accuses the Saudi government of complicity in the terrorist attacks.

The declaration was filed last month but unsealed late last week. According to a spokesman for the 9/11 victims’ families, it represents a major breakthrough in the long-running case, providing for the first time an apparent confirmation that FBI agents investigating the attacks believed they had uncovered a link between the hijackers and the Saudi Embassy in Washington.

It’s unclear just how strong the evidence is against the former Saudi Embassy official — it’s been a subject of sharp dispute within the FBI for years. But the disclosure, which a senior U.S. government official confirmed was made in error, seems likely to revive questions about potential Saudi links to the 9/11 plot. . .

2020 Candidate: U.S. Government ‘Is Hiding the Truth’ About 9/11 Terror Attacks

Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard said during a Fox News interview on Thursday night that the United States government is “hiding the truth” about the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Gabbard, a Representative from Hawaii, told Tucker Carlson that she believes that the U.S. government is covering up Saudi Arabia’s role in the attacks which killed thousands of Americans.

“This story that we’re hearing from the families of those who were killed on 9/11 pushes this issue to the forefront where, for so long, leaders in our government have said, ‘well, Saudi Arabia is our great ally, they’re a partner in counterterrorism’ — turning a blind eye or completely walking away from the reality that Saudi Arabia time and again, has proven to be the opposite,” Gabbard said.

“They’re undermining our national security interests … they are the number one exporter of this Wahhabi extremist ideology,” Gabbard continued. “They’re a fertile recruiting ground for terrorists, like al Qaeda and ISIS around the world. They’re directly providing arms and assistance to al Qaeda, in places like Yemen, and in Syria.”

“And as we are seeing here, it is our government, our own government that is hiding the truth … and the many other families of those who were killed on 9/11,” Gabbard concluded. “For what?
