‘Fundamentally Barbaric’: Vance Slams Walz for Minnesota Law on Babies Who Survive Abortions

Vice presidential nominee JD Vance slammed his opponent Tim Walz on Tuesday night over Minnesota laws that no longer protects babies who survive abortions.

Vance pointed out that Walz, as governor of Minnesota, repealed a bipartisan measure that formerly required doctors to report whether abortions resulted in the live birth of a baby, what actions were taken to preserve the life of that baby, and whether the baby survived.

Walz’s action also stripped the state’s requirement that measures be taken to preserve the baby’s “life and health,” replacing it merely with a requirement for “care.”

“That is fundamentally barbaric,” Vance told Walz.

Walz denied the allegation.

Florida Investigates Claims That Radical Abortion Group ‘Forged’ Signatures on Ballot Petition

Aradical abortion group in Florida allegedly forged petition signatures for a proposed abortion amendment. The Florida Department of State has launched an investigation.

“Our tolerance in the state of Florida for any type of election-related fraud is zero. We are not going to put up with it,” said Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis in a roundtable Monday. “This group submitted dozens of petitions on behalf of dead people.”

Floridians Protecting Freedom is pushing for an abortion amendment that would change the state constitution to protect the murder of unborn children before “viability.” According to InfluenceWatch, the group is a coalition of abortion interest organizations like Planned Parenthood and ACLU Florida.

FPF’s paid circulators allegedly forged signatures on the amendment petition, and the Department of State’s Office of Election Crimes and Security (OECS) is investigating the matter.

“The department of state has uncovered evidence of illegal conduct with fraudulent petitions,” said Mark Ard, the department’s director of external affairs, in a statement to The Federalist. “We have a duty to seek justice for Florida citizens who were victimized by fraud and safeguard the integrity of Florida’s elections.” (Read more from “Florida Investigates Claims That Radical Abortion Group ‘Forged’ Signatures on Ballot Petition” HERE)

The Hidden Reality of Late-Term Abortions the Media Claim Aren’t Happening

In the ongoing debate over abortion, the media often skews the narrative to support pro-abortion ideologies, sometimes downplaying or outright denying the grim realities of late-term abortions. However, an unsettling truth occasionally surfaces, shedding light on the more disturbing aspects of this controversial issue.

A recent NBC News article featured an interview with Dr. Warren Hern, a prominent abortionist who has operated the Boulder Abortion Clinic in Colorado since 1975. Hern’s clinic specializes in second- and third-trimester abortions, including those performed at or beyond 32 weeks of gestation—approximately eight months into pregnancy. This revelation comes at a time when former President Donald Trump questioned Vice President Kamala Harris on her stance regarding abortions in the later stages of pregnancy.

Despite Hern’s claims to NBC News that he does not perform abortions in the eighth and ninth months, an in-depth interview with The Atlantic paints a more disturbing picture. Hern admitted to performing abortions up to and beyond 32 weeks, and even described cases where abortions were performed for reasons other than severe fetal anomalies. One such case involved a 35-week abortion after a diagnosis of brain anomalies—a procedure the patient described as “euthanasia,” saying, “I put my baby down.”

This disclosure is profoundly troubling. While many media outlets attempt to frame late-term abortions as rare and primarily driven by medical necessity, the reality is far more unsettling. Hern’s own accounts reveal that a significant portion of late-term abortions are performed for reasons that do not involve fatal fetal conditions. He admitted to conducting abortions for reasons such as sex selection, a practice that underscores the troubling reality of how some late-term abortions are performed based on personal preference rather than medical need.

The data supporting these practices is equally alarming. According to NBC News, only a handful of abortion clinics across the United States perform abortions after 28 weeks. However, the pro-abortion organization Abortion Finder estimates that there are up to eight clinics that perform abortions as late as 35 weeks—just shy of the beginning of the ninth month of pregnancy. This suggests that thousands of unborn babies are being terminated well past the point of viability, where they could potentially survive outside the womb.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that in 2021, 1% of legal abortions occurred after 21 weeks of pregnancy, translating to over 6,000 late-term abortions that year alone. The pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute estimates that in 2023, more than one million abortions were performed, indicating a troubling increase in late-term procedures, potentially exceeding 10,000.

The term “late-term abortion” itself is contested. Pro-abortion groups often reject the term, redefining it to include abortions performed up to 41 weeks, or past full-term. The pro-life Charlotte Lozier Institute, on the other hand, defines late-term abortion as any procedure performed later in pregnancy, typically when the baby can survive outside the womb, often around 22 weeks or earlier.

The graphic details provided by The Atlantic about Hern’s methods further emphasize the brutality of late-term abortions. The procedures described involve the removal of fetal remains in parts when the fetus is still intact, a stark reminder of the physical and emotional toll these procedures exact on both the unborn and the mothers involved.

As these unsettling facts come to light, it is crucial for the public to confront the harsh realities of late-term abortion practices. The pro-life movement must continue to advocate for the protection of the unborn at all stages of development and demand greater transparency from both the media and medical professionals involved in these procedures.

Trump Reveals He is Voting No on Florida’s Abortion Amendment

Former President Donald Trump revealed that he would be voting no on a proposed abortion amendment in Florida.

When asked by a reporter if he was voting “yes or no” on Amendment 4, Trump explained that while he believes Florida’s six-week abortion ban needs “more time than six weeks,” he will be voting no on Florida’s abortion Amendment, noting that the Democrats were “radical” in their views on abortion.

Under Florida’s Amendment 4, the right to abortion throughout a pregnancy would be enshrined into the state’s constitution.

“I think six weeks, you need more time than six weeks,” Trump said. “I’ve disagreed with that right from the early primaries when I heard about it, I disagreed with it. At the same time, the Democrats are radical because the nine months is just a ridiculous situation, where you can do an abortion in the ninth month.”

“Some of the states like Minnesota and other states have it where you can actually execute the baby after birth, and all of that stuff is unacceptable,” Trump added. “So, I’ll be voting no for that reason.” (Read more from “Trump Reveals He is Voting No on Florida’s Abortion Amendment” HERE)

Vance Says Trump Would Veto a National Abortion Ban

Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, former President Donald Trump’s running mate, said Saturday that Trump would veto a federal abortion ban if Congress were to pass one.

Asked on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” about GOP lawmakers like Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina who would want Trump to advocate for and sign an abortion ban, Vance told moderator Kristen Welker that Trump has “explicitly” said he would veto a ban.

“I mean, if you’re not supporting it, as the president of the United States, you fundamentally have to veto it,” Vance argued.

Trump has changed his position on abortion policy over the years.

Asked on a tarmac in Atlanta in April whether he would sign a national abortion ban if it passed through Congress, he simply answered, “No.” But he didn’t clarify at the time what he considered a “ban.” (Read more from “Vance Says Trump Would Veto a National Abortion Ban” HERE)

DNC Shows Sleeping Baby as Kamala Harris Pledges to Sign Radical Abortion Bill

The Democratic National Convention (DNC) video feed captured an ironic, yet devastating, moment at the DNC on Thursday night, as Vice President Kamala Harris proclaimed she would “proudly sign” a bill as president making abortion-on-demand the law of the land.

During her speech in Chicago officially accepting the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, Harris slammed state laws that have been passed since the Supreme Court overturned an invented federal right to abortion in 2022, protecting unborn babies from medication abortions and dismemberment abortions.

She then promised to restore the invented federal right to abortion, after which the DNC video feed cut to attendees, including a man rocking a sleeping baby.

“We trust women. And when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom, as President of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law,” she said. (Read more from “DNC Shows Sleeping Baby as Kamala Harris Pledges to Sign Radical Abortion Bill” HERE)

Former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards at DNC: Abortion Makes Women ‘Unstoppable’

Cecile Richards, the former president of Planned Parenthood, said during a speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago on Wednesday night that women are “unstoppable” when they are able to have their unborn babies aborted.

“When women are free to make their own decisions about their lives and follow our dreams, we are unstoppable. But when Roe v. Wade was overturned, a generation of young people lost that freedom,” claimed Richards, who was president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and of Planned Parenthood Action Fund from 2006 to 2018.

Richards then mourned the existence of a baby who was born to a 12-year-old rape survivor in Mississippi — a baby whom she appeared to suggest should have been aborted — while celebrating the birth of her own grandchild.

“Like Ashley, a 12-year-old rape survivor in Mississippi. Because of her state’s abortion ban, she started seventh grade with a newborn. That’s the Republican promise of state’s rights,” Richards said.

“Last year, I became a grandmother. And during my daughter’s pregnancy, nothing mattered more to me than her health. Politics should never stand in the way of anyone’s healthcare or prevent any family from experiencing the joy my grandson Teddy has brought to my life,” she continued, before calling for the election of Kamala Harris, who has refused to cite any abortion restrictions she supports.

Tim Walz Gave Almost $100K in COVID-19 Funds to ‘Abortion Doula’ Trainers

Presumptive Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz directed almost $100,000 in COVID-19 relief funds to an organization specializing in “abortion doula” services, state contracts show.

Walz, the governor of Minnesota, spent almost $2 billion in federal coronavirus relief funds without the approval of the state Legislature, using his emergency powers, according to the Minnesota-based outlet Alpha News.

Part of those funds went to SPIRAL Collective, a “reproductive justice nonprofit” that describes itself as a “queer, trans, disabled, BIPOC lead organization committed to the values of reproductive justice and decolonial practices.”

SPIRAL Collective received about $97,000 between two contracts with the state to provide “current information on COVID-19 effects related to the maternal-child population by building an online community for families to receive resources and support,” according to contracts published by Minnesota state Senate Republicans in 2021.

The first contract began July 15, 2020, and ended in December 2020, and the second contract began February 2021 and ended June 30, 2021. (Read more from “Tim Walz Gave Almost $100K in COVID-19 Funds to ‘Abortion Doula’ Trainers” HERE)

Tim Walz Unleashed a Demonic Bloodlust After Pelosi Told Him to ‘Tone Down’ His Pro-Abortion Stance

Tim Walz has taken his abortion stance to an extreme and radical level. He is literally a baby killer. His policies are so extreme that he should be facing murder charges. Tim is totally controlled by the crazy Minnesota “Feminanzi” crowd that keeps a tight leash on the suffering men of Minnesota, starting with his wife and daughter, so he signed an executive order as governor permitting abortions up until birth in the state.

To call this abomination anything but murder is to completely ignore the deeply demonic nature of Tim’s policy.

Tim Walz has no regard for human life. His law allows for abortions at nine months, with the State footing the bill. It’s so disturbing and disgusting, it’s hard to even discuss. We treat our dogs better than this. Even convicted murderers and rapists get better treatment than the innocent babies in Tim Walz’s state of Minnesota. Tim Walz, who’s already pushing a radical trans agenda on kids, is actually proud of his extreme abortion views, which are legalizing first degree murder. So when Nancy Pelosi told him to tone it down, he flipped out on stage, showing a kind of demonic bloodlust we’ve never seen before.

President Trump nailed it. Harris/Walz is the most pro-abortion ticket in US election history. True to form, these two ghouls are pushing abortion to the absolute extreme in order to win over the bitter, angry “cat ladies” of the Dem party. These are the types who despise men and babies, caring only about boxed wine and cats. This ticket is custom-made for the radical extremists on the left, but they have nothing in common with average, decent Americans.

The GOP ‘Pro-Life’ Party Platform Does Nothing to Protect Unborn Babies

The debut of the Republican National Committee’s recently revamped platform was celebrated by top Republicans and even some pro-life groups as a unifying message that will carry former President Donald Trump to victory come November. Buried in the abortion section of the 16-page document, however, is permission for the murder of millions of unborn babies via abortion and in vitro fertilization.

It’s no secret that the Trump campaign worked with the RNC to “gut” the party’s old promises to hold the abortion industry accountable and protect life at whatever cost. Sure enough, when the GOP publicized its 2024 pledge on Monday, its promise to “proudly stand for families and life” stopped short of delivering on tried and true protections for unborn babies.

The weak commitment could be amended after review by the platform committee in Milwaukee next week, but it’s unlikely that much will change.

To appease demands that abortion for Republicans be a hands-off, “state issue,” the RNC framed the 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson decision as reaffirming a “power has been given to the states and to a vote of the people.” The resolution ironically invokes the 14th Amendment, which prohibits the government from depriving Americans of life, liberty, or property without due process, as reasoning for giving states free reign over whether babies live or die.

The GOP’s deliberate failure to carry over the party’s 2016 pledge to “support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to children before birth” would permit states governed by extremism to continue executing 99 percent of unborn babies currently murdered by abortion.
