DOJ Employee Charged With Capital Murder After Spiking Pregnant Girlfriend’s Coffee With Abortion Pills: Sheriff

A United States Department of Justice employee secretly spiked his pregnant girlfriend’s drink with an abortion drug to induce a miscarriage without her knowledge, according to cops.

Justin Anthony Banta, 38, who works in the IT department of the DOJ, is charged with capital murder in Parker County, Texas, for allegedly putting “Plan C” abortion drugs in his pregnant girlfriend’s coffee, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

The couple found out about the pregnancy in September 2024, with the unidentified woman refusing the DOJ employee’s offer to terminate the pregnancy with “Plan C” pills he would purchase online, the statement said.

Banta’s girlfriend was happily six-weeks pregnant when she had a sonogram on October 17 that revealed a strong heartbeat and good vital signs, the Parker County Sheriff’s Office revealed.

Later that same day she met the IT specialist at a coffee shop — quickly suspecting that Banta had spiked her drink with the “Plan C” abortion-inducing pills without her consent. Study: 83 Percent of ER Visits Due to Drug-Induced Abortions Miscoded as ’Miscarriages’

The likelihood that a woman seeking emergency care for a potentially life-threatening complication following an abortion will have her abortion misclassified as a miscarriage has increased significantly over the last decade, a new peer-reviewed study from the Charlotte Lozier Institute found.

The study’s nine authors warn that more misclassification, often due to deliberate concealment of a drug-induced abortion, could deprive women of the emergent care they need for the serious adverse events linked to abortions, more specifically those involving mifepristone.

Researchers interested in how hospitals handle treatment for women who experience complications after abortions examined nearly 29,000 anonymized ER Medicaid claims ranging from 2016 to 2021 among women who had chemically or surgically ended a pregnancy in the last 30 days. They determined that 83.5 percent of the abortion drug-induced ER visits during that period were miscoded, often as miscarriage.

That figure not only represented a steep increase in miscodes from the 2004 to 2015 data, but also confirmed that “visits following chemical abortion are significantly more likely to be incorrectly coded as following spontaneous abortion than are visits following surgical abortion.”

Those post-mifepristone ER visits that were miscoded were also 50 percent more likely to be severe than vists that were coded properly. (Read more from “Study: 83 Percent of ER Visits Due to Drug-Induced Abortions Miscoded as ’Miscarriages’” HERE)

GOP Budget Would Finally Defund Democrat Mega-Donor Planned Parenthood

On Sunday, the House Budget Committee voted 17-16 to advance President Trump’s “one, big, beautiful bill,” and it achieves a goal social conservatives have had for years: It finally defunds Big Abortion.

No Medicaid dollars “shall be used to make payments to a prohibited entity for items and services furnished during a 10-year period,” the bill states. It defines a prohibited entity as any 501(c)(3) charitable organization that “is primarily engaged in family planning services, reproductive health, and related medical care,” “provides for abortions,” and exceeded $1 million in Medicaid dollars in 2024.

Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest provider of abortions, released its latest annual report on Monday, May 12. The report shows exactly why this pro-life measure must remain in the final budget reconciliation bill.

In the last two years, Planned Parenthood — an ostensibly “nonprofit organization” — earned a stunning $206 million in profit, its own numbers reveal. Much of that is thanks to hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars flowing into its coffers.

Last year, the organization took in $792.2 million from government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements — over $2 million a day, and approaching half its total revenue. What did the American taxpayer receive for their generous contributions? More abortions. Fewer services. Fewer breast exams and pap tests. And fewer prenatal services. Study: Rate Of Serious Or Life-Threatening Complications After Abortion Pill Is 22 Times Higher Than FDA Claims

Abortion advocates, their allies in the corporate media, and even the U.S. Food and Drug Administration insist the pill responsible for more than half of the nation’s abortions is “safe and effective.” A new, wide-ranging analysis of insurance claims regarding the abortion drug regimen, however, found that the rate of life-threatening complications due to mifepristone is at least 22 times higher than what the FDA and Danco Laboratories, manufacturer of mifepristone pill Mifeprex, suggest.

In the “largest known study of the abortion pill,” Ethics and Public Policy Center President Ryan Anderson and Director of Data Analysis Jamie Bryan Hall used purchased Medicaid, TRICARE, Medicare, Department of Veterans Affairs, and private medical insurance claim data to determine that 865,727 mifepristone abortion prescriptions for 692,873 women were handed out between 2017 and 2023.

Approximately 10.9 percent of those claims, or 94,605 chemical abortions, involved potentially life-threatening “serious adverse events” such as emergency room visits, hemorrhage, sepsis, infection, and/or follow-up surgeries for the women who had downed the abortion drug within the last 45 days.

That rate, which researchers adjusted to reflect “that some women suffer from adverse events in multiple categories,” is 22 times the FDA’s <0.5 percent estimation printed on the Mifeprex label. The researchers also suggest that the 45-day timeframe they used is “conservative, as some adverse events may present later (and studies relied on by the FDA used a timeframe as long as 72 days).” “This study is the statistical equivalent of a category 5 hurricane hitting the prevailing narrative of the abortion industry,” Anderson said in a statement to The Federalist. “It reveals, based on real-world data, the shocking number of women who suffer serious medical consequences because of the abortion pill.” (Read more from "Study: Rate Of Serious Or Life-Threatening Complications After Abortion Pill Is 22 Times Higher Than FDA Claims" HERE)

Pro-Life Activist Left Covered in Blood After Being Sucker-Punched During NYC Street Interview on Abortion

A pro-life activist in New York City was sucker-punched in the face while doing a street interview about abortion, leaving her bloodied and requiring stitches, viral video shows.

Savannah Craven Antao, a 23-year-old reporter for advocacy group Live Action, was conducting a man-on-the-street interview in Harlem on Thursday, discussing the topic of Planned Parenthood with an unidentified pro-abortion New Yorker.

“You don’t understand the magnitude of having a child,” the woman emphatically stated a few minutes into the discussion, video shows.

“I’m not the one who admitted they would be OK with killing babies in foster care and killing children that have been abused,” Craven Antao fired back, referencing claims made by the woman earlier in the conversation.

“That’s not the point. What I’m saying is …,” the interviewee began before unleashing a combo of punches directly to Craven Antao’s face and quickly stalking away. (Read more from “Pro-Life Activist Left Covered in Blood After Being Sucker-Punched During NYC Street Interview on Abortion” HERE)

Malpractice Lawsuit: Woman Hospitalized After Abortionist Left Baby Body Parts In Her Abdomen

An unnamed woman is suing an Illinois abortionist for malpractice after she allegedly suffered from severe and potentially life-threatening complications from a late-term abortion at his hands in 2023.

In a legal complaint filed on March 21, “Jane Doe” claims Keith Reisinger-Kindle of Equity Clinic in Champaign, Illinois performed a two-day dilation and evacuation abortion that, unbeknownst to the woman on the table, perforated her uterus, failed to remove all of the dead baby’s body parts from her body, and left her with “irreversible suffering and emotional damages.” Kindle, who allegedly did not administer drugs to stop the child’s heart in utero, supposedly dismembered the baby alive.

The woman, who was 22 weeks pregnant at the time, was technically eligible for a no-questions-asked late-term abortion due to Illinois’ radical abortion permissions.

In fact, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker had just endorsed the radical expansion of abortion and created carve-outs shielding abortionists a few months prior to the problematic procedure named in the complaint. Pritzker’s sweeping declaration comes in addition to Illinois’ lack of abortion facility regulation.

However, the unnamed woman did not, as outlined in the complaint, escape the physical, emotional, and mental harm known to accompany abortion. (Read more from “Malpractice Lawsuit: Woman Hospitalized After Abortionist Left Baby Body Parts In Her Abdomen” HERE)

3 Arrested In Texas For Running Illegal Back-Alley Abortion Ring

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced the arrests of a woman and man for allegedly operating an illegal abortion network.

“Individuals killing unborn babies by performing illegal abortions in Texas will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, and I will not rest until justice is served,” Paxton said in a press release. “I will continue to fight to protect life and work to ensure that anyone guilty of violating our state’s pro-life laws is held accountable.”

On March 17 Paxton announced the arrest of 48-year-old Maria Margarita Rojas — known as “Dr. Maria” — for “providing illegal abortions and illegally operating a network of clinics” near northwest Houston. The next day, he announced the arrest of 29-year-old Jose Manuel Cendan Ley for “the unlawful performance of an abortion and the unlicensed practice of medicine.” Rojas also faces charges for “practicing medicine without a license.”

The attorney general’s Healthcare Program Enforcement Division also “filed for a temporary restraining order to shut down Rojas’s network of clinics to prevent further illegal activity,” according to the release.

Murdering an unborn child through abortion is a second-degree felony in Texas. Rojas faces two charges for “prohibited dismemberment abortion” and two charges for “practicing medicine in violation of subtitle,” according to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office. Her bond was set at $500,000 for each abortion charge and $200,000 for each unlicensed practice charge. (Read more from “3 Arrested In Texas For Running Illegal Back-Alley Abortion Ring” HERE)

Lawmakers Override Veto on Law Requiring Ultrasound for Pill Abortions

Women trying to get the abortion pill in Wyoming now need to undergo an ultrasound after state lawmakers overrode the governor’s earlier veto of a bill requiring the procedure.

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon (R) vetoed the “Chemical abortions-ultrasound requirement” bill earlier this week citing concerns over its invasive nature and the bill’s lack of exceptions for victims of rape or incest.

“It creates the prospect of an unnecessary, intimate, and invasive procedure (transvaginal ultrasound) which subjects women to an uncomfortable and potentially traumatic experience in what may already be a very overwhelming situation,” Gordon wrote in a letter to Wyoming House Speaker Chip Neiman (R), the bill’s main sponsor.

Under the bill, women seeking to end a pregnancy using abortion medication need to receive a transvaginal ultrasound at least 48 hours before receiving the necessary pills.

During the procedure, a health care provider inserts a device called a transducer into the vagina to record images of the cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. (Read more from “Lawmakers Override Veto on Law Requiring Ultrasound for Pill Abortions” HERE)

In 2024, Texas’ Pro-Life Laws Saved Countless Women And Unborn Babies

Pro-life laws in Texas are responsible for saving the lives of countless women and unborn babies in 2024, but the state’s work to protect both mothers and their children from the abortion industry is not over yet.

According to the updated Induced Terminations of Pregnancy (ITOP) report released by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) this week, physicians and hospitals in the Lone Star State performed zero elective abortions last year.

Ever since the Texas Heartbeat Act went into effect in September 2021, which effectively banned ending the lives of unborn babies beyond six weeks gestation, thousands of pregnant women and their children have escaped the life-threatening harms that are caused by abortion.

When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022 and the state’s prohibition on ending life in the womb unless a woman’s life or one of her major bodily functions was in danger went into effect, abortions in Texas tumbled even further. The red state went from recording thousands of elective abortions each month to receiving zero reports of elective abortions each year starting in 2023 and extending into 2024.

“These numbers make it absolutely clear that Texas’ pro-life laws are protecting women and unborn babies in our state,” Communications Director for Texas Alliance for Life Amy O’Donnell said in a statement. “No doctor has been prosecuted, sued, or sanctioned for providing an abortion to save a woman’s life. No woman has lost her life for lack of an exception in the law. Misinformation suggesting otherwise spreads unnecessary fear among pregnant women and misleads the public about what our laws actually say.” (Read more from “In 2024, Texas’ Pro-Life Laws Saved Countless Women And Unborn Babies” HERE)

Abortion Leading Global Cause of Death in 2024 With Over 45 Million Killed

Abortion was the leading cause of death globally in 2024, with a record 45 million unborn babies killed in the womb, according to data provided by Worldometer.

As of noon on December 31, 2024, there were 45.1 million abortions performed in the course of the year, Worldometer revealed, while 8.2 million people died from cancer, 5 million from smoking, 1.7 million of HIV/AIDS, 1.35 million from traffic fatalities, and 1.1 million from suicide.

Totaling all the deaths in the world from causes other than abortion reveals a figure of 62.5 million, meaning that abortions accounted for just over 42 percent of all human deaths in 2024.

Globally, there were more deaths from abortion in 2024 than all deaths from cancer, malaria, HIV/AIDS, smoking, alcohol, and traffic accidents combined, according to Worldometer statistics.

Worldometer — voted one of the best free reference websites by the American Library Association (ALA) — keeps a running tally through the year of major world statistics, including population, births, deaths, automobiles produced, books published, and CO2 emissions.
