Air Force Sees ‘Incredibly’ Large Missile Buildup by China

China‘s military is engaged in a large-scale expansion of both nuclear and conventional missiles described in a U.S. Air Force Air University report as “incredibly” large and rapidly increasing.

The report by the China Aerospace Studies Institute at the university said the People’s Liberation Army’s Rocket Force, formerly the 2nd Artillery, is expanding both in the sophistication of its missiles and size of its arsenal. The growth in both missiles and launchers was based on increasing numbers of Rocket Force brigades and highlights the rapid buildup.

From 1980 to 2000, the PLA added four new missile brigades, including three armed with the latest weapons. (Read more from “Air Force Sees ‘Incredibly’ Large Missile Buildup by China” HERE)

Air Force Includes Drag Show In Woke ‘Diversity’ Festival

The U.S. military is hosting a drag show at a family-friendly festival at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE) at the end of July.

JBLE is hosting its first ever “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Summer Festival” on July 30, featuring a series of performances and speeches, including a poem on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” and a drag show by Joshua Kelley, who performs under the moniker Harpy Daniels.

The festival was first proposed by the JBLE Breaking Barriers Alliance, a committee comprised of volunteer service members under the base’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. At least one top base official, Colonel Gregory Beaulieu, the installation commander, signed off on the event and approved the use of military resources, a JBLE spokesman told The Daily Wire.

The festival is advertised as a family-friendly event, including “bouncy houses and face painting for the children,” according to an event description. The event, which will feature performances by several cultural groups, is billed under the theme “Celebrating Differences.”

Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives have gained ground in the military in recent years, a development that critics say is gutting the unity, meritocracy, and mission readiness of the U.S. military. Rep. Mike Ghallager (R-WI), the ranking member of the House Subcommittee on Military Personnel, said in a February speech that DEI initiatives are undermining the military’s strength. US Judge Moves to Protect Vaccine Religious Exemptions in Air Force

An Ohio court issued a restraining order stopping the Air Force from issuing a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for airmen with religious exemptions.

The restraining order by Judge Matthew W. McFarland of the District Court for the Southern District of Ohio will stand for 14 days while the judge weighs a preliminary injunction that would last through the entire judicial process.

“Plaintiffs and the putative class members have all allegedly suffered the same injury: violation of their constitutional rights,” the ruling reads. “A putative class would consist only of Airmen who have submitted religious accommodation requests, had an Air Force Chaplain define their religious beliefs as sincerely held, and yet their religious accommodation requests have been denied or delayed. Congressman Hammers Air Force Academy for Kicking Out Graduating Cadets With Religious Objections to Vax

U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn is expressing his dismay that a small number of Air Force Academy cadets may not be allowed to graduate because of their refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I was extremely disappointed to hear that the United States Air Force Academy is planning to deny these … cadets the opportunity to graduate and serve our nation because of their request to uphold their tightly held religious beliefs,” Lamborn said in a letter to the AFA superintendent Tuesday, asking him to change his mind.

The Pentagon made the COVID vaccine mandatory for all service members last year, including those at military academies. Military leaders have pointed out that there is nothing unique about this requirement; the Department of Defense currently requires at least nine vaccinations for people entering the military, and up to 17 depending on the service member’s job or where/if they are deploying.

According to a report by the Associated Press, very few military members sought religious exemptions to any vaccines until the COVID-19 shot.

Originally, four members of the Air Force Academy’s senior class refused the COVID vaccine, leaving them at risk of not being able to graduate or be commissioned, as well as pay back thousands of dollars in tuition if nothing changed before graduation day on May 25. A spokesperson for the academy says that one of the four finally decided to get the vaccine and another submitted paperwork to resign from the school, leaving two cadets at a stalemate over the vaccine graduation policy. SCOTUS Rules Against Military Officer Who Refused COVID-19 Vaccine

The Supreme Court said it won’t get involved in a military vaccine mandate challenge brought by a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserve who declined to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for religious reasons.

In an unsigned order, justices gave no reasons for their refusal to take the case, which is common in response to emergency requests. Three Republican-appointed members, Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch, gave their dissent but did not explain their decisions, according to court records.

The court’s order stands as an interim measure that denies relief while the plaintiff’s appeals proceed. Lt. Col. Jonathan Dunn was removed from his command following nearly two decades of service as a trainer and commander, arguing he was seeking “protection against further punishment, including a discharge.”

The Justice Department’s Solicitor General, Elizabeth Prelogar, said the Air Force had determined “that vaccination of service members is an essential component of military readiness and is critical to protecting the health and safety of service members.” (Read more from “SCOTUS Rules Against Military Officer Who Refused COVID-19 Vaccine” HERE)

‘The Enemies of America Are Laughing at Us’: US Air Force Pushes Leftist Gender Ideology by Recognizing Transgender Day of Visibility

The U.S. Air Force, which claims that its mission statement is “To fly, fight, and win…airpower anytime, anywhere,” faced blowback Thursday on Twitter for peddling radical leftist gender ideology by recognizing Transgender Day of Visibility.

“Today is #TransDayofVisiblity,” the Air Force tweeted, inviting people to watch a video of Under Secretary of the Air Force Gina Ortiz Jones interviewing Lt. Col. Bree Fram, a member of the Space Force — the tweet calls Fram the “highest-ranking openly transgender” Department of Defense officer.

The tweet comes as Russia, a nuclear-armed power, is invading Ukraine. It also comes as the U.S. faces the ongoing threat posed by an ever-ambitious communist China that continually seeks to expand its power on the world stage.

Responding to the Air Force’s post, Blaze Media’s Jessica O’Donnell questioned, “how does this help us with war and stuff.”

Dutch Air Force Deploys Storied ‘MiG Killer’ To Eastern Europe

The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) is deploying two F-16AM Fighting Falcons and two armed F-35A Lightning II aircraft from Leeuwarden Air Base to further reinforce NATO’s presence across Eastern Europe.

The Dutch Ministry of Defense announced the plan to deploy the 5th generation jets to Graf Ignatievo Air Base in Bulgaria through March and April, according to the NATO Allied Air Command. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine Thursday altered these plans. It is now unclear whether the aircraft will go to Bulgaria, as the official statement from the Ministry of Defense noted they have been moved “in the vicinity of Poland,” the Aviationist reported.

The F-16s and F-35s are part of a contingent of eight aircraft to be deployed to protect NATO airspace in Eastern Europe at a moment’s notice, the outlet described. (Read more from “NYC Underground: Hundreds of People Are Living in Subway Stations and Tunnels, Survey Shows” HERE)

Former Air Force Technician Describes Chilling Encounter With a UFO

Former Air Force member Adrian Reister claims to have seen multiple unexplainable situations while working in the military.

During an interview with the Liberation Times, the former nuclear weapons technician recounted a pair of paranormal events involving the nuclear weapons at Whiteman Air Force Base from more than 15 years ago, and the details are fascinating.

To make matters more interesting, Reister also claims he saw a being that is almost difficult to describe while on duty at the base.

I saw what I can’t really describe as other than a black mass in the shape of a person standing at 6ft, not really a shadow but something that was slightly blurry and didn’t reflect any light… it quickly turned the corner into the admin area of the shop, and I chased after it like a madman.

As I ran down the length of the wall from the support section and into the admin area I searched high and low, there’s not really a lot of places to hide in that section, just a few offices and a breakroom. I’d been thorough in my search but I still ended up empty-handed.

‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Merchandise at Alaska Exchange Crossed AAFES’ Line on Vulgarity

The Army and Air Force Exchange Service is emphasizing a ban on the sale of lewd or profane products in its stores after a vendor in Alaska sold figurines carrying a crude catch phrase aimed at the commander in chief.

In the days leading up to Christmas, a temporary vendor at the exchange on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage sold wooden bear figurines fashioned to resemble former President Donald Trump and holding signs reading, “Let’s Go Brandon,” according to the Anchorage Daily News, which first reported the sales.

The foot-tall bears sported long red ties and slicked-back blond hair in Trump fashion, the newspaper said. . .

The independent vendor’s short-term stint at the Alaska base had already ended by the time the agency learned of the prohibited merchandise, AAFES spokesman Chris Ward told Stars and Stripes by phone on Monday.

“The exchange routinely reviews products to determine their compliance with the Exchange’s prohibition from selling items that are illegal, promote the use of drugs or alcohol, contain racial or ethnic slurs, promote racial or ethnic supremacy, or include words, symbols, or scenes that are lewd, profane or vulgar,” he said. “If the product is determined to be in violation of restrictions, the exchange takes immediate corrective action.” (Read more from “‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Merchandise at Alaska Exchange Crossed AAFES’ Line on Vulgarity” HERE)

Air Force Discharges Soldiers for Refusing COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

The Air Force has discharged 27 members for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine in the first such enforcement action from any U.S. Military branch, the Associated Press reported Monday.

The Air Force required its personnel to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by Nov. 2, but the Pentagon has allowed other branches to determine their own deadlines. While the vast majority of servicemembers have complied, a small number have refused. Each of the 27 members discharged Monday were younger, lower ranking and in their first enlistment term, Air Force spokesperson Ann Stefanek told the AP. None of the individuals sought out specific exemptions.

Each branch of the military is currently in the process of addressing members who have refused the COVID-19 vaccine, but the Air Force is the first to reach a discharge. Reporting from late October suggested as many as 12,000 Air Force personnel were not in compliance with the mandate, though it is unclear how many remain unvaccinated now or how the Air Force is dealing with specific cases.

The military has long required members to receive a number of vaccines before entering service, and more than 95% of active duty members have already taken the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the Pentagon.

President Joe Biden encouraged Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to impose a vaccine mandate in August. Biden had instructed Austin to investigate “how and when” to implement a vaccine mandate for service members in late July.
