Someone Put a Bounty on This Woman’s Head for Peeing on the American Flag

A Philadelphia woman posted a video on social media on the Fourth of July in which she can be seen urinating on the American Flag and pissed off a lot of Americans in the process.

In the video, the young woman, who has been identified as Emily Lance, stands over a toilet draped with an American flag and proceeds to urinate on it using a device that helps women to pee while standing up . . .

As you would expect, the disrespectful and disgusting act angered those who came saw it resulting in death and rape threats against the woman. The video even led an angered viewer to post a bounty on craigslist of $3,000 for her head, according to Terez Owens . . .

Apartment Complex Reverses Itself, Veteran Allowed to Keep American Flag

Keith Ludwig says when it comes to flying his American flag, it’s a matter of principle.

He is now relieved that he can keep it hanging off his balcony. After the story ran on Fox 8, Ludwig was contacted by his apartment complex and told he was allowed to keep the flag.

“I’m a veteran, my grandfather’s a veteran, my dad’s a veteran. We’re a military family,” he said early Friday.

So Ludwig said he was surprised, and angered, when the management of Shoregate Towers told him on Thursday he’d have to remove the flag that flies from his balcony.

Ludwig showed us his lease, and there is a clause on using the exterior of the units that basically prohibits hanging or affixing anything to the balconies. But Ludwig questions why it took management more than two years to raise the issue with him and whether that clause is really meant to apply to an American flag. Pastor Urging Churches Across Nation to Join Him in Placing Christian Flag Above American Flag: ‘We Serve God Before Government’

A North Carolina pastor is urging people of faith across the nation to raise a Christian flag above the American flag to demonstrate that God, and not the U.S. government, is the ultimate authority.

According to a report from WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina, pastor Rit Varriale first installed a prominent flag pole outside Elizabeth Baptist Church last week, placing the Christian flag at the top and the American flag below it.

“Our typical flag etiquette is to have the American flag above the Christian flag. But when you stop and think about it, it should be our commitment to God first, then our commitment to country,” he told WBTV.

“We should be flying the Christian flag above the American flag as a demonstration that Christians will respect and obey the federal government up to the point that the government asks something that is inconsistent with what God has called His people to do,” Pastor Varriale told the Baptist Press, explaining that he got the idea from another church in Shelby, Focus Missionary Baptist Church, who raised the Christian flag several months ago.

“In large part we started going wrong when we stopped standing up for things that are inherently part of the Christian life, like prayer,” the pastor said. “The admonition from the government to stop praying in the public school system was packaged under the notion of rights — the rights of the individual.” The minority didn’t want to pray and felt they should not be asked to pray in a government institution, Varriale said. However, the public school is not only a government institution, he said, but a place that serves the people of the community. “Any institution should be able to reflect the values of the people who live there,” he said. Local Dealership Forced to Remove American Flag Banners or Do This

Palm Beach County Code Enforcement says the dealership has until Monday, July 6th to remove the banners. The county code allows for up to 3 official flags to be displayed, this would include American Flags, but under the current code it does not allow feather banners.

“The property is not receiving any fines and will not have any further action if the feathers are removed by our next inspection which will be Monday July 6,” said an email from Rebecca Caldwell, Palm Beach County Zoning, Planning, and Building Department.

The email went on to say that if the feather banners are not removed by the next inspection date, which would be Monday July, 6th, then the matter would be scheduled for a hearing by the Special Magistrate who will decide what action if any should be taken . . .

A local car dealership may be paying a price for patriotism. The Kia car dealership on South Military Trail was issued a code-enforcement violation from Palm Beach County for displaying American Flag banners on its property.

The notice cites a Unified Land Development code that prohibits displaying banners, streamers, pennants, balloons or other signage made of lightweight fabric, plastic, or similar material. (Read more from “Local Dealership Forced to Remove American Flag Banners or Do This” HERE)

Anti-Cop Anarchists Burn Flag, Get Attacked by Bikers, Then Get Saved by Same Cops They’re Protesting

A group of flag-burning anti-NYPD protesters needed New York’s Finest to save their skin from a gang of angry bikers who tried to pummel them in a Brooklyn park for setting Old Glory ablaze Wednesday.

The fiery stunt by a few dozen members of the group Disarm the Police led to a chaotic scene at about 8 p.m. in Fort Greene Park, when the activists enraged 40 members of the Hallowed Sons Motorcycle Club by roasting the flag on a tiny barbecue grill.

“They took off like little b—hes,” said one biker. “They lit the f–king flag and took off running once they got slapped once or twice” . . .

[The anarchist protesters] started to roast the flag, but they didn’t burn it for long. One of the bikers rushed forward in a fit of rage and kicked over the grill, sending embers flying. He then doused it as members of the pro-flag crowd chanted “USA! USA!”

The bikers then started trying to rough up the protesters — who were quickly saved by members of the same police force that they criticize. . . (Read more from “Anti-Cop Anarchists Burn Flag, Get Attacked by Bikers, Then Get Saved by Cops They’re Protesting” HERE)

Peyton Robinson, a senior at York Comprehensive High School in South Carolina, was flying an American flag and a POW-MIA flag on the back of his truck – until the school took them off his truck. . .

When he arrived at school on Wednesday, a school administrator told Robinson to take the flags down, saying “someone” had complained about them. He was later pulled out of class and told to meet an administrator in the parking lot, he said, where he found school officials had already removed the bolts that secured the flags, took the flags down, and “laid my flags in the middle of my truck when I wasn’t even there” . . .

The community has rallied around Robinson and his flags and staged a demonstation. As many as 70 cars full of students and adults arrived at the school with people waving flags along the street. . .

WBTV 3 News, Weather, Sports, and Traffic for Charlotte, NC

Under overwhelming public outcry, the school gave in. An announcement on the school district says:

Due to the outstanding display of patriotism through peaceful demonstration, it is apparent to us that many are not happy about this policy. School officials have reviewed the standing policy regarding flags and have decided that an exception will be made for the American flag, as long as the size of the flag(s) does not create a driving hazard.

Disgusting: College Students Spit on Wounded Vet, Urinate on American Flag; University Apologizes

By Todd Starnes. Investigations have been launched at two universities over accusations that fraternity members taunted wounded war heroes, urinated on an American flag, and spit on a wounded veteran and his service dog in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The April 17 incident, involving Zeta Beta Tau fraternity members from the University of Florida and Emory University, has infuriated residents of Panama City.

“They were being treated like the Vietnam veterans were treated,” said Linda Cope, the founder of the Warrior Beach Retreat. . .

Cope tells me the fraternity members were staying in the same resort – and caused a night of mayhem. The college kids made derogatory comments about the warriors’ wives, threw items off balconies and desecrated an American flag.

She also said one of the warriors and his service dog were spit on. (Read more from “Disgusting: Frat Boys Spit on Wounded Vet, Urinate on American Flag” HERE)

Emory University Apologizes for Horrendous Frat Behavior

By News Herald. Emory University was appalled to learn of acts of disrespect and harassment that were directed at attendees of the Warrior Beach Retreat in Florida this past weekend.

Our brave veterans who have sacrificed much for our country deserve the utmost respect and appreciation for their service.

The disrespectful behavior exhibited by students toward our veterans is not acceptable and will not be tolerated by members of the Emory community.

When Emory received complaints that students from one of our fraternities might be involved, Campus Life administrators immediately began an investigation. To date, no evidence has been found to implicate Emory students in these reported incidents. If any members of our community are identified as being responsible, they will be held accountable for their actions by the university.

Emory University thanks veterans for the significant contributions they have made to our country, and for exhibiting the values that we hold with great respect within our university community. (Read more from this story HERE)

Community Shocked at Veterans’ Treatment

By Kelly Baumgarten. Twice a year Panama City Beach welcomes our wounded heroes into the community for the Warrior Beach Retreat, but an event aimed at honoring our nation’s veterans took a different turn at their hotel. . .

“This retreat has just been an eye opener. It’s been more amazing than I ever thought it would be,” said Gina Harden, the wife of a wounded veteran.

Our community has always gone above and beyond to give them a heroes welcome. However, during this Warrior Beach Retreat it was a different story when it comes to some of our visitors.

Some veterans say they now know how Vietnam Veterans felt when they came home. They say they were subjected to similar harassment by a group of college students.

“They actually spit on me and my service dog as well, and that’s just so disrespectful and it hurts. I come and I feel honored and I feel safe and that I belong, but now I feel like I’m defending myself,” said wounded veteran Nicholas Connole. (Read more from this story HERE)

Controversy Over American Flag Mural at Elementary School Continues

Photo Credit: mrsdkrebsThe controversy over an American flag painted on a wall at Reyes Elementary School is not over, even though it’s been painted over.

The Canutillo Independent School District [CISD] Board of Trustees will discuss what steps to take next after being denied the mural by the school’s developer, Cimarron Hunt Communities [Hunt].

Hunt offererd $10,000 to CISD for a flag pole but the offer was rejected by the board of trustees.

“We’re kind of waiting to see what direction the board wants to take but at the same time we are encouraged that conversations continue so that we can do what’s best for veterans, for our students, and for the community at large,” said Shane Griffith, spokesperson for CISD.

In a letter, Hunt explained why they wanted the flag painted over. The red white and blue does not fit the homeowners associations color scheme, and the mural could possibly violate rules regarding how U.S. flag should be handled and displayed. Flag Flap: Indiana Veteran, Wife Battle Homeowners Association Over Old Glory

Photo Credit: FOX59.comAn elderly veteran and his wife say there’s “absolutely no way” the flagpole outside their Indiana home is coming down, despite threats from a homeowners association — and a local prosecutor intends to back them in court if necessary.

Bob and Judy Willits insist they intend to fight multiple letters from the Fieldstone Homeowners Association regarding the American and POW/MIA flags outside their Greenfield home. The couple was first told in early September that the freestanding patriotic display wasn’t welcome since it wasn’t mounted to the home.

“We have absolutely no plans to take it down,” Judy Willits told FoxNews.com on Tuesday. “It would be kind of a bloody situation if we had to take the flag down at this point.”

Judy Willits said her 82-year-old husband served four years during the Korean War and now suffers from Parkinson’s disease, as well as a lung ailment that limits his mobility. She said they wanted to show their devotion to the country and sense of community when they first put up the flags around July Fourth.

“He’s paid his price,” she said. “He doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment. And we never thought this would be a problem.”
