Eight years before COVID emerged, a journalist issued a prophetic warning that risky viral research could usher in “doomsday” and damage the reputation of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Anthony Fauci groused in an email to an aide about that warning, then instructed the aide to permanently delete the exchange, documents obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.

The documents add to growing evidence that Fauci destroyed public records despite his sworn testimony that he never did. Deleting government records violates federal law.

Fauci did not respond to a request for comment.

In 2011, the advent of gain-of-function research — experiments that make viruses more infectious or deadly in the lab — caused its first major controversy. With funding from Fauci’s institute at the NIH, Dutch virologist Ron Fouchier had made an airborne strain of a bird flu with an estimated 50% fatality rate, which he described as “probably one of the most dangerous viruses you can make.”

Fauci and New York Times science writer Phil Boffey traded barbs in newspaper opinion pages about the work.

Manmade pandemic viruses are a “risk worth taking,” Fauci insisted in a December 2011 Washington Post editorial, because they could help drugmakers and public health get a jump start if they emerge in nature. Fauci was Privately Informed about Questions over COVID-19 Vaccines and Miscarriages, New Texts Show

Dr. Anthony Fauci was privately informed in January 2021 that the initial studies on COVID-19 vaccination did not include women in the first trimester of pregnancy because of miscarriage risk, according to new texts released by Sens. Rand Paul and Ron Johnson.

“I am corrected on pregnancy studies. Initial Studies [sic] avoid vaccination in first trimester due to possible fever and higher rates of miscarriage in first trimester,” Dr. John Mascola texted Fauci on Jan. 25, 2021.

Mascola was serving as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases’ (NIAID) Vaccine Research Center at the time.

After Mascola’s message, Fauci said there was a theoretical risk that COVID-19 vaccinations during pregnancy could cause miscarriages due to the potential for a fever.

“Since many people have significant cytokines storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester,” Fauci wrote.

Damning Fauci Texts Revealed: Admits Second Coronavirus Jab ‘Theoretically Could Be Associated with Miscarriage’

The second coronavirus jab could be theoretically associated with miscarriage in the first trimester, Anthony Fauci admitted in a text on his government-issued cellphone, released by U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Rand Paul (R-KY). Yet, this information was not openly offered to the general public as public health officials actively urged pregnant women to get the vaccine.

According to the senators, the government-issued phone contains over 34,000 text messages and 522 voicemails, and they are currently unable to tell if data has been deleted from the device. Most of the numbers on the phone do not have formal contact names. In fact, only three exist on the phone.

While the lawmakers and their staff are combing through the trove of messages on the phone, they released a text chain on Monday, giving Americans a snippet of what is to come.

This particular text chain released by the senators shows a conversation between Fauci, former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Rochelle Walensky, and former U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy. The conversation, which centered around pregnant women taking the coronavirus vaccine pushed on the American public, took place January 25-26, 2021.

One text shows Murthy asking for any data or theoretical reason why vaccinating early versus later in pregnancy would be preferred. He admitted he had been telling pregnant women that there “hasn’t been evidence of concerning adverse outcomes in the trials,” although he admitted the number of pregnant subjects were “likely” limited. Fauci Slapped with Subpoena as COVID Doc Probed for ‘Profiting’ off Federal Guidance

A top Florida official is slapping Anthony Fauci with a subpoena over alleged “profiting” from federal guidance that hurt businesses, residents.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced Wednesday he has issued an investigative subpoena against former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease Director Anthony Fauci.

The subpoena is part of a state probe into Fauci’s awards, incentives and guidance that impacted Florida’s residents and their businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.

The announcement comes after Uthmeier, along with Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., pledged to have Fauci investigated at the state level following his Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing last week when he pleaded the Fifth 111 times and references were made to his blanket federal pardon from former President Joe Biden.

“We issued a formal subpoena to Dr. Fauci under Florida state law, seeking a breadth of documents ranging to what he knew when he knew it, his doubts about the safety and efficacy of vaccines that he’s out there promoting, and we’re really focused in on his self-dealing,” Uthmeier announced on Fox News. Fox News Called Out By Former Employees For Covid Hypocrisy

Multiple Fox News employees have alleged hypocrisy after the network critically covered Dr. Anthony Fauci despite having privately supported the very COVID restrictions championed by the public health official.

Former Fox Corp producer Breanna Morello alleged Tuesday that Fox is now “attempting to rewrite history by going after” Fauci.

Morello claimed in an X post that Fox attempted to get her “to comply with an ILLEGAl [sic] vaccine mandate” when she worked there. Her comments came as Fox News has recently published multiple articles about the release of Fauci’s personal diary entries ahead of his Wednesday Senate testimony.

“Fox offered me a $500 bonus to get the Covid jab,” Morello wrote in the social media post. “When I declined, they threatened to put me on unpaid leave after making me move to NYC.”

A Fox News spokesperson declined to comment to the Daily Caller News Foundation on the record. Morello did not provide comment in time for publication.

Fireworks: Sen. Rand Paul Promises ‘Repercussions’ for Fauci’s Refusal to Testify, Ejects Fauci’s ‘Unruly’ Lawyer

One of Anthony Fauci’s lawyers became “unruly” after Chairman Rand Paul (R-KY) promised repercussions for Fauci’s refusal to answer lawmakers’ questions during his appearance before the committee, resulting in the lawyer’s removal.

Fauci, who is before the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, made it clear in his opening statement that he would be invoking the Fifth Amendment during the line of questioning today, putting that on display immediately by refusing to answer any questions from Chairman Paul.

Paul said after his line of questioning:

The chairman has denied your assertion of privilege and directed you to answer, but you nonetheless refuse and stand on privilege despite the existence of the pardon. The committee will have to consider after this hearing what appropriate action should be taken against you for the failure to testify after being directed to do so.

“It’s against the law to obstruct an investigation of Congress. Senator Trolls Fauci’s Blanket Fifth Amendment Claims Exposing ‘Contempt for this Body’

Former NIAID Director Anthony Fauci’s refusal to answer questions from Congress extended to simple facts, including the day of the week and the color of the tie he was wearing.

Fauci, 85, invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination about as many times as his years alive on Earth, despite Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee Chairman Rand Paul, R-Ky., and Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., asserting that he did not have that right given his current legal status.

Hawley cited a Supreme Court case from 1896, where President Benjamin Harrison’s appointee, Justice Henry Brown, ruled that a witness granted statutory immunity from prosecution could nonetheless be compelled to testify because his immunity displaced pleading the Fifth.

In that case, an auditor for a Pittsburgh railroad unsuccessfully challenged a contempt charge for refusing to answer grand jury questions.

Hawley turned to Fauci and tested his repeated Fifth Amendment invocations throughout the hearing, quipping, “Doc, let’s try something.”

Anthony Fauci’s Own Diary Proves what a Despicable Villain He Truly is

As COVID cases and deaths began to soar in the spring of 2020, America desperately needed a trustworthy public-health leader. Instead, we got Dr. Anthony Fauci — and now his diary entries from that time are showing just how incredibly unworthy of the nation’s trust he truly was.

Time and again, his private notes contradict what he was telling the world at the very same time, and the stories he’s spun up since to protect his unearned reputation.

For starters, he insisted time and again that the “lab leak hypothesis” was a wacky conspiracy theory, that the virus had jumped naturally from animals to humans, presumably at the “wet market” in Wuhan, China.

Yet the diaries reveal that he knew early on that it had not come from the wet market, and was confronted with scientists he’d selected who argued with strong evidence that “lab leak” was the truth — and that the bug was likely bio-engineered in the Wuhan Institute Virology.

We also now know that he himself referred to research at WIV that he had funded with federal cash as “GOF,” meaning “gain of function,” altering viruses to make them more deadly or contagious to humans — though he later testified time and time again under questioning by Sen. Fauci Toadies Privately Called Lab Leak Theory ‘Highly Likely’ While Publicly Shutting It Down

The latest revelations from Sen. Rand Paul’s investigation into the origin of Covid expose what may be one of the most consequential scientific deceptions in history.

The 1,123 pages of private Slack messages exchanged among the authors of the highly influential “Proximal Origin” paper reveal that the scientists who publicly declared that a laboratory origin of Covid was not plausible privately held a very different view. They repeatedly acknowledged that a laboratory origin remained possible, discussed flaws in their own arguments, and struggled to defend the natural origin theory.

In the first batch of Slack messages between the authors, which was released by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2023, Kristian Andersen of Scripps Research, the lead author of “Proximal Origin,” privately described the possibility of a laboratory origin as “friggin’ likely.” In another exchange, he wrote, “The main issue is that accidental escape is in fact highly likely — it’s not some fringe theory,” and elsewhere another author acknowledged that Covid “easily could have” leaked from a laboratory. Yet only weeks later, on March 17, 2020, they published “Proximal Origin,” declaring that a laboratory-based scenario was not plausible.

When those earlier messages became public, Andersen offered a simple explanation. He argued that his initial doubts had been resolved before publication and that the messages merely reflected a normal scientific process of considering possibilities before reaching a conclusion.

Fauci Diary Shows He Lied to the Public About Coronavirus Fatality Rate

Former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) chief Anthony Fauci publicly lied about the coronavirus’s fatality rate, initially telling the public it was 2 to 2.5 percent but privately recording in his diary that it was “more like 0.2-0.3%.”

This explosive revelation is found in Fauci’s personal diary documenting his day-to-day duties in the early days of the Trump administration’s coronavirus response. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, released the diary ahead of Fauci’s appearance before the committee.

In a February 2020 entry, Fauci recorded the number of cases as well as his many media appearances. He also surmised that the mortality rate of the virus was “more like 0.2-0.3 % rather than 2.0%.”

The entry reads:

Tom Frieden called me this AM and we discussed various aspects of the outbreak. He and I are on the same page in thinking tht [sic] this is acting like a bad influenza in its transmissibility and that the denominator is much greater than 34,867 (above) making the case fatality rate (CFR) more like 0.2-0.3 % rather than 2.0%.
