San Bernardino, California Massacre: Terrorism? Of Course It Was!

By Daniel Greenfield. The shooter has been named as Sayeed Farouk. His father described him as a religiously devout Muslim. “He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back.” Co-workers say that he “grew a beard and started to wear religious clothing. The long shirt that’s like a dress and the cap on his head.”

And at some point his “religiosity” took him down the familiar path of Jihad. . .

Obama and the media would like to make this story about “gun violence”. But guns don’t shoot themselves. There is a hand that pulls the trigger and a mind whose foul purposes that hand serves. . .

San Bernardino is home to what is described as a “growing Muslim population” and that growth comes with terrifying growing pains.

This latest attack appears to be one of them. (Read more about the Islamic connections to the California massacre HERE)

The Farooq Saeed’s Home Described as an “IED Factory”

By FoxNews.com. Law enforcement officials said late Wednesday they could not rule out terrorism as a possible motive. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force was aiding in the investigation.

A law enforcement source told Fox News that the couple were each carrying an AR-15 rifle and and a pistol when they were shot and killed by police after a brief chase in their black SUV about 2 miles from the initial shooting site. The source said the vehicle also contained so-called “rollout bags” with multiple pipe bombs, as well as additional ammunition. The couple also had GoPro cameras strapped to their body armor and wore tactical clothing, including vests stuffed with ammunition magazines.

“That’s a military tactic for a sustained fight,” the source told Fox News of the rollout bags.

In addition to the explosives found at the SUV, authorities discovered and detonated three pipe bombs late Wednesday at the Inland Regional Center, the complex where the initial shooting took place about 60 miles east of Los Angeles.

Another source described a house in Redlands that was being searched in connection with the shooting as “an IED facility.” The source said investigators discovered multiple pipe bombs in the house, as well as small explosives that were strapped to remote-controlled cars. Early Reports of the California Massacre, Disturbing

By B. Christopher Agee. As more information trickles in regarding the search for as many as three suspects wanted in Wednesday morning’s mass shooting at a San Bernardino, Calif., nonprofit facility, reported details about the gear being used by the gunmen has added a new layer to the developing narrative.

CNN spoke to a law enforcement officer in the area and is reporting that “three suspects are believed to be armed with AK-47-type weapons” and “got into a black SUV and drove away.”

Authorities also reportedly found a package – which CNN’s source confirmed was “not normal” – at the scene. A robot equipped to handle the suspicious item is expected to be deployed to safely retrieve it.

SWAT team members and other federal and local authorities are combing the scene and surrounding buildings as of the latest reports available. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information about the incident to call immediately. At Least 12 People Overdose on Synthetic Marijuana in San Diego

At least a dozen people became sick in San Diego Sunday after they apparently ingested a batch of synthetic marijuana, also known as “spice”, police said.

San Diego Fire Rescue Capt. Joe Amador told Fox 5 that the victims were mainly young people, including a 13-year-old. Amador said it was not immediately clear whether the victims took the drug voluntarily.

The station reported that the victims experienced symptoms varying from a bloody nose to seizures. Medical officers responded to multiple calls reporting sick patients in at least three locations in downtown San Diego . . .

San Diego police said the drug was being sold in black packages with blue dragons on the side. A police spokesman told the San Diego Union-Tribune that officers were trying to track down victims and witnesses, and were also warning the public about the overdoses in case others had purchased the drug in the downtown area. Navy Launches Second Test Missile off Southern California Coast

The U.S. Navy said it launched a second — and final — missile in a planned exercise Monday afternoon from a submarine off the Southern California coast.

The second test launch of the Trident II (D5) missile from a ballistic submarine in the Pacific Ocean took place Monday afternoon, the Navy said. The blast-off took place to far less fanfare than Saturday night’s launch, which provoked residents from San Francisco to Mexico to take to social media, posting photos of an eerie-looking bluish-green plume smeared above the Pacific.

Speculations were wide-ranging, including rumors of an otherworldly alien UFO visit. In fact, the streak was generated from the Trident missile’s rocket motor.

The Navy later confirmed a ballistic submarine launched an unarmed Trident II (D5) missile in a test flight, but would not define the window of time available for conducting additional launches, nor would it disclose where the exercise was actually taking place.

“It’s important that we test these missiles for our national security,” said John M. Daniels, spokesman for the secretive Strategic Systems Programs office, which oversees the Navy’s nuclear-tipped missile arsenal. “We don’t announce future launches, but this is it for any time soon.” (Read more from “Navy Launches Second Test Missile off Southern California Coast” HERE)

Were Law Enforcement Leaders Aware of Threat by Terrorists to Attack California University?

I remember the days of the street thug punks who were in supposed gangs. I mean the real gangsters were Al Capone, Lucky Luciano, and Bugsy Seigel. These street thugs, who were calling themselves MS13, 18th Street and many other colorful names, soon learned how to organize and capitalize on street crime turning an otherwise local street problem into a global problem. And law enforcement leaders continued to see the street thugs as just that; explaining to the American people that we had nothing to worry about. But we did… we had a lot to worry about.

Gangs are now global empires taking in billions of dollars in drug, prostitution, and gun profits. Their empire has been aided by the Mexican cartels with many lives lost, families destroyed and our jails and prisons swollen to capacity. Had the problem been recognized, called what it was and addressed immediately we just may have saved a whole lot of lives, effort and money. So surely our law enforcement leaders learned their lesson, right?

Unfortunately the tragic event at UC Merced illustrates just how our law enforcement leaders have not learned from their past mistakes and may have jeopardized the lives of an entire classroom in doing so. What I am about to tell you has been confirmed by three independent law enforcement officials, all who cannot be named for fear of losing their jobs/pensions. The conversations I have engaged in compel me to believe that we are not being told the truth about the incident at our UC Merced and just who the suspect was.

From the information I have gathered, the suspect was indeed not only on the FBI’s terrorist watch list but he was also on a national watch list and had been one of the topics of discussion at a recent FBI briefing to Merced County law enforcement leaders. According to recently obtained information, about 6 months ago the FBI held a terrorist/extremist briefing with Merced County law enforcement leaders. At this meeting several suspected terrorist with ISIS links were said to be here in Merced County. Names and photos were presented including one of Faisal Mohammad. Based on the FBI’s own analysis and a number of people on the terrorist watch list that are in the area they projected an attack at the UC Merced campus. Though they were not absolutely certain of the attack on the UC they did feel that there was enough information for them to be here if it did.

According to my sources the UC Chancellor was also briefed on the potential threats. (Read more from “Were Law Enforcement Leaders Aware of Threat by Terrorists to Attack California University?” HERE)

Campus Stabber’s Manifesto Included ‘Praise for Allah,’ Plan for Beheading

A handwritten manifesto carried by a California college student whose stabbing spree Wednesday left four wounded bore names of his targets, a vow “to cut someone’s head off” and as many as five reminders to “praise Allah,” law enforcement authorities told FoxNews.com, while insisting that neither terrorism nor religion appear to be motives in the attack.

In the two-page document found in Faisal Mohammad’s pocket by the county coroner, the 18-year-old freshman wrote a numeric list outlining his plans of who he wanted to kill, and how, including beheading and shooting his victims, Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke told FoxNews.com.

“No. 27 was to ‘make sure people are tied down,’ No. 28 was “sit down and praise Allah,’” Warnke said. “I remember seeing four or five times, scribbled on the side of the two-page manifesto, where he wrote something like ‘praise Allah.’” . . .

Mohammad’s intended bloodbath began around 8 a.m.,when he burst into his classroom with an 8-inch hunting knife. Police said it would have continued – and possibly claimed lives – if he hadn’t been interrupted by a construction team, and then shot dead by police.

“There was a gruesome statement he made about wanting to cut someone’s head off and kill two people with one bullet, and he planned to shoot the police,” Warnke said. “He did not have a firearm with him and didn’t seem to have a lot of experience with firearms because he thought he could kill two people with one bullet. He reminded himself in the list to raise the gun slowly. He scripted everything out in chronological order.” (Read more from “Campus Stabber’s Manifesto Included ‘Praise for Allah,’ Plan for Beheading” HERE)

Nearly 600 Earthquakes Within Three Weeks in California

A total of 583 small earthquakes have shaken San Ramon, California, in the last three weeks or so – more than five times the record set 12 years ago, according to the latest US Geological Survey updates.

“It’s the swarm with the largest number of total earthquakes in San Ramon,” said USGS scientist David Schwartz, who is more concerned about the size of quakes than he is the total number of them. Still, the number tops the previous record set in 2003, when 120 earthquakes hit over 31 days, with the largest clocking in at a magnitude of 4.2.

The largest magnitude earthquake in the current swarm, which began on Oct. 13, is a magnitude 3.6. (Read more from “Nearly 600 Earthquakes Within Three Weeks in California” HERE)

Details From the Horrific Stabbing by Muslim College Student Emerge

The 18-year-old freshman who stabbed four people on the University of California Merced Wednesday intended to shoot people, attack a police officer, and target a specific person who kicked him out of a study group, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office announced late Thursday.

The findings come after a coroner performing an autopsy on Faisal Mohammad found the suspect’s manifesto on his body, according to Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke.

Mohammad listed the intended targets by name in the manifesto, and planned to tie students to desks while drawing out police to steal a gun and shoot people, Warnke said . . .

Mohammad, who was killed by campus police, was described by at least one witness as smiling as he slashed at victims, called a loner by a fellow dorm resident and drew praise Thursday from a Twitter account associated with ISIS, which just last week released a series of videos calling for lone wolf stabbing attacks . . .

“May Allah accept him,” read a tweet in Arabic from a Twitter account that terrorism experts say has carried previous ISIS propaganda, just minutes after Mohammad’s name was divulged by campus authorities. (Read more from “Details From the Horrific Stabbing by Muslim College Student Emerge” HERE)

Sex Ed? L.A. Suspends Use of Schools for Film Sets After Discovering Porn Shoot

The Los Angeles Unified School District has suspended commercial filming on its campuses after local media revealed that film shoots – including one of a pornographic film – disrupted classrooms and damaged school property.

L.A. schools Supt. Ramon C. Cortines authorized the district’s inspector general to examine filming activities after it was discovered that the porn shoot took place at the historic Hamilton High back in 2011.

“It is important that we ensure teaching and learning are not disrupted, and that all filming activity is appropriate for our schools,” Cortines said in a statement released Thursday to the Los Angeles Times. “As an organization responsible for educating students, it is essential that we hold ourselves and our schools to a high standard.”

A local television station reported that permits and district records indicate that producers of the 2012 release, “Revenge of the Petites,” paid cash to film on Hamilton’s campus on two consecutive Saturdays in October 2011 and also filmed a car wash scene featuring public nudity in the school’s parking lot.

District officials told local NBC4 news that the pornographic filmmakers misled them, and that district officials would never have approved a shoot if they had known the real nature of the movie. Calif. Mom Claims Retailer Booted Her for Complaining About Man in Girls’ Restroom

A California mom who says she was recently kicked out of a sporting goods store after alerting a manager that [a] man had frightened her young daughter in the women’s restroom is demanding answers – and a policy change – from the Washington-based chain.

The woman, who spoke to FoxNews.com but asked not to be identified, said she was shopping with her 12-year-old daughter and the girl’s younger friend when her daughter told her what had happened moments earlier at an REI sporting goods store during a shopping trip in late August.

“We started to drive to another store and she said to me, ‘Mom, I need to tell you something,’” said the woman. “I asked her what was wrong and she told me ‘A man used the bathroom while we were in there and it scared me.’”

When the mother turned the car around and went back to the store to confront the manager of the Santa Rosa store, she said she was stunned to learn that the man, who she said was not dressed in women’s clothes and did not appear outwardly to be transgender, had done nothing wrong in the eyes of the employees and other customers.

“I spoke with the manager and told her what happened,” the mother said. “She didn’t skip a beat. She told me that REI does not decide who people are or what they can do.” (Read more from “Calif. Mom Claims Retailer Booted Her for Complaining About Man in Girls’ Restroom” HERE)

California Lake Mysteriously Runs Dry Overnight Leaving Residents Looking for Answers

A Northern California reservoir ran dry overnight, killing thousands of fish and leaving residents looking for answers.

While a $3.5 million drought safety net at Folsom Lake finishes, a lake in another part of the state is left high and dry.

Thousands of fish lay dead in what used to be Mountain Meadows reservoir also known as Walker Lake, a popular fishing hole just west of Susanville . . .

Residents say people were fishing on the lake last Saturday, but it drained like a bathtub overnight. Bauer has lived near this lake his entire life. This is the first time he’s ever seen it run dry. He and other residents want answers . . .

At Folsom Lake, workers are finishing work on floating barges that would pump water to the city of Folsom and the prison if the lake gets too low for the water to flow through an intake valve. An insurance policy that may be put into use soon. (Read more from “California Lake Mysteriously Runs Dry Overnight Leaving Residents Looking for Answers” HERE)
