Elon Musk Shows Us How to Kill Cancel Culture Once and for All

Elon Musk knows how to end cancel culture.

Earlier this month, a member of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency team, Marko Elez, resigned after the Wall Street Journal reported that the young DOGE staffer once posted “to a deleted social-media account that advocated racism and eugenics.” The story primarily focused on the DOGE’s efforts and offered little evidence to support the serious accusation, giving readers only two examples.

For liberals angry over the DOGE’s mission to uncover and eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars, the story proved to be confirmation that Musk is operating a rogue campaign with immature and inexperienced loyalists.

What happened after Elez’s resignation may prove to be a turning point that erodes cancel culture.

It began when Vice President JD Vance spoke up.

“Here’s my view: I obviously disagree with some of Elez’s posts, but I don’t think stupid social media activity should ruin a kid’s life,” Vance said. “We shouldn’t reward journalists who try to destroy people. Ever. So I say bring him back. If he’s a bad dude or a terrible member of the team, fire him for that.” (Read more from “Elon Musk Shows Us How to Kill Cancel Culture Once and for All” HERE)

Steve Harvey Blasts ‘Cancel Culture,’ Says ‘Political Correctness Has Killed Comedy’ — And Won’t Do Another Stand-up Special Unless It’s His Last One

Steve Harvey blasted “cancel culture” during the Television Critics Association press tour while promoting his new courtroom series “Judge Steve Harvey,” Variety reported, adding that Harvey rattled off a long list of comics no longer allowed to say what they want for fear of losing their careers. . .

In fact, Harvey said he can’t do a stand-up special anymore unless it’s his last one.

“The only way I can do one more special is if it’s at the end of my television career because it will end my television career,” he noted, according to Variety. “We’re in the cancel culture now. No stand-up that is sponsor-driven can say anything he wants to. Chris Rock can’t. Kevin Hart can’t. Cedric the Entertainer can’t. D.L. Hughley can’t. I can go down the list. The only person that can say what they want to say on stage is Dave Chappelle because he’s not sponsor-driven. He’s subscription-driven.” (Read more from “Steve Harvey Blasts ‘Cancel Culture,’ Says ‘Political Correctness Has Killed Comedy’ — And Won’t Do Another Stand-up Special Unless It’s His Last One” HERE)

Right Responds to Cancel Culture by Building Its Own Infrastructure, and the Left Goes Nuts

Last week the corrupt media’s penchant for spinning all things conservative caused a near-fatal case of whiplash.

The left began by chastising conservatives for supposedly building “its own echo chamber,” but by the next day, when news broke that Devin Nunes was resigning from Congress to serve as the CEO of Donald Trump’s new media company, the complained-of conservative ecosystem merely represented grift. Both narratives are false, however, which is precisely why leftists peddled them so hard.

Axios launched the “echo chamber” accusation with its article titled, “Right wing builds its own echo chamber.” “Conservatives are aggressively building their own apps, phones, cryptocurrencies and publishing houses in an attempt to circumvent what they see as an increasingly liberal internet and media ecosystem,” the Axios article began.

The article then highlighted plans for the YouTube alternative Rumble and Trump’s social media company, Truth Social, to expand their reach by taking the companies public. Also highlighted was the social app Gettr that former-Trump aide Jason Miller launched, as well as conservative efforts to compete in cryptocurrency, phones, cloud storage, and book publishing. Poll: Majority Believe Cancel Culture Unfairly Penalizes People

A resounding majority (69%) of registered voters indicated that they believe cancel culture unfairly punishes individuals for previous actions or statements, according to a Hill-HarrisX poll conducted earlier this month.

The survey utilized the Merriam-Webster definition to define cancel culture, The Hill noted.

According to merriam-webster.com, the term means “the practice or tendency of engaging in mass canceling … as a way of expressing disapproval and exerting social pressure.”

Strong majorities of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents shared the sentiment that cancel culture unfairly penalizes people for their past behavior and statements, according to the poll results: A whopping 79% of Republicans, 65% of Democrats, and 64% of independents held that view.

Significant majorities of both men (74%) and women (65%) also felt that way.
