A Marine Who Got a Highly Sensitive Intelligence Job Was Charged After Admitting to Attending Capitol Protest During Security Clearance

Prosecutors arrested an active-duty Marine on Jan. 6 charges last month after he confessed to participating in the deadly siege during a high-level security clearance interview in June 2022, according to court documents.

Sgt. Joshua Abate is facing four counts related to the insurrection, including entering or remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct, and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

The special communication signals analyst was transferred to a sensitive intelligence assignment at the National Security Agency even after his participation in the attack, The Intercept reported this week.

Abate was assigned to the Marine Cryptologic Support Battalion, which partners with and is headquartered at the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland, according to military records first obtained by Military.com. The headquarters is one of the most sensitive US government facilities in the country.

Abate ultimately confessed to participating in the riot in June 2022 while he was undergoing a security clearance process, according to prosecutors. Legal Filing Exposes FBI Involvement in January 6th

It’s a story as old as time. Something bad happens and completely unexpectedly, it turns out the FBI was involved. Sure enough, despite years of the left dismissing the possibility as a conspiracy theory, a new legal filing serves as an admittance that the FBI was very much involved in the events of January 6th.

Ironically, we are finding that out because the government is once again trying to cover up exactly what happened. Regarding the case of Proud Boy Ethan Nordean, federal prosecutors are asking a judge to limit defense questions on the matter.

So they want to use information from these informants to help throw a person in jail, but they don’t want to allow the defense to question said informants or how they got their information. How very on-brand for the federal government.

Regardless, the revelation here is that FBI informants were embedded with the Proud Boys both online and in person on the day of the march to the Capitol building on January 6th. That’s important for several reasons, and none of them are good.

How involved were these informants in the lead-up to January 6th? Were they egging things on as in the Gretch Whitmer kidnapping farce? Did they encourage people to enter the Capitol? As informants participating in planning discussions, they wouldn’t have just been silent so as to not raise suspicions. So in what capacity were they involved? Man Who Propped Feet on Pelosi’s Desk Found Guilty

The Arkansas man who propped his feet up on a desk in then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office during the U.S. Capitol riot was convicted on all counts Monday.

A jury unanimously convicted Richard “Bigo” Barnett on all eight counts in his indictment including felony charges of civil disorder and obstruction of an official proceeding.

Barnett lounging at a desk in Pelosi’s office made him one of the most memorable figures from the riot on Jan. 6, 2021, the day when Congress convened a joint session to certify President Joe Biden’s electoral victory.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in May. Prosecutors sought to jail Barnett while he awaits sentencing but the judge denied that request so Barnett will remain free on certain conditions.

Barnett, 62, testified last Thursday he was looking for a bathroom inside the Capitol when he unwittingly entered Pelosi’s office and encountered two news photographers. Rep. Jim Jordan Says New Subcommittee Will Probe ‘Disparate’ Treatment of Jan. 6 Defendants

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan said the new subcommittee on the weaponization of the federal government wants to investigate the alleged mistreatment of Jan. 6, 2021, defendants during their detainment.

Mr. Jordan, Ohio Republican, said Monday during a radio interview with host Bob Frantz that numerous whistleblowers have come forward to talk to GOP lawmakers about the Justice Department’s “disparate treatment” of those who rioted during the summer of 2020 and those who rioted at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

“The only concern would be that when you try to get someone who’s currently incarcerated to come testify, that can be an ordeal, but we will certainly look at that,” Mr. Jordan said, adding that the Jan. 6 defendants would also be subjected to “hours of questioning from the Democrats.”

“But this is something that we’re definitely going to look at,” he said, adding that there was also a double standard for those who protested outside of abortion clinics and those who “attack over 100 churches and crisis pregnancy centers.”

Kevin McCarthy Pledges to Release All Security Footage from January 6 Capitol Riots; McCarthy Says He Will Look at Expunging Trump Impeachment

By Townhall. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told reporters Thursday that he intends to release all the security footage from the January 6 Capitol riots.

“I want to be very thoughtful about it, but yes, I’m engaged to do that,” McCarthy told reporters when asked whether he would release footage from that day.

McCarthy continued:

I think the public should see what happened on that day. I watched what Nancy Pelosi did, where she politicized it. Where for the first time in the history as a Speaker, not allowing the minority to appoint to a committee. We watched the politicization of this. I think the American public should actually see what happened instead of a report that’s written on a political basis.

McCarthy Says He Will Look at Expunging Trump Impeachment

By The Hill. Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on Thursday that he would consider expunging one or both of former President Trump’s impeachments.

“I would understand why members would want to bring that forward,” McCarthy said in response to a question at a press conference on Thursday, before listing off several other key priorities for House Republicans.

Judge Dismisses Obstruction Charge Against January 6th Defendant Who Said ‘Spirit of God’ Moved Him in Capitol

D.C. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson acquitted a January 6 defendant of obstruction on Friday after ruling that prosecutors presented no evidence that the defendant intended to stop Congress that day.

Joshua Black of Alabama was cleared of the charge because Jackson said the “unique stew in his mind” that was described during the trial showed that Black did not know that what he was participating in was unlawful. Black was convicted of other charges, including carrying a deadly weapon on Capitol grounds.

Black was arrested shortly after the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. After the riot, he traveled back to Alabama and posted a video on YouTube describing his time in the U.S. Capitol. That video, as well as an anonymous tip, led the disgraced FBI to Black. . .

There is no doubt about it

The alleged “January 6 insurrection” is entirely an orchestrated event. The presstitutes have given a completely fabricated account that bears zero relationship to what happened. This documentary by the Epoch Times, a new large online and print newspaper that is filling the role abandoned by the US media of objective reporting, is a font of truthful information backed up by visual evidence. Here are a few of the actual facts. The police behaved as thugs throughout. The police intentionally did their best to provoke a peaceful crowd to violence by shooting into their midst plastic grenades filled with plastic shrapnel. The police, if indeed they were police, broke every rule of police behavior in their efforts to provoke the crowd into violence. They were helped by provocateurs, none of whom have been arrested or questioned. These efforts had little success. So they then killed purely gratuitously two women. Ashley Babbitt was gratuitously murdered by a black police officer for no other reason than to produce the aura of violence that required deadly police force. Another women was murdered by black police as the documentary shows clearly. Neither of the women were doing anything to justify the use of death-dealing force against them. In neither case was there any investigation of the police use of excessive force. The Justice (sic) Department gave a free pass to the murderers. None of the required procedures that are required when people are killed by police were followed. In the case of Derick Chauvin they were excessively applied. We have a two-tiered system of justice in which the application of law depends on race.

The alleged “insurrection” was staged by the Democrats and the Gestapo security agencies that report to them in order to discredit Donald Trump and prevent the presentation to Congress of the evidence that Biden’s election was stolen. It was all carefully planned and organized, and the official narrative was provided to the presstitutes the minute the orchestration began.

The US Department of Justice is a co-conspirator in the plot. Justice (sic) department attorneys have lied in court before judges that police officers were killed by the alleged “Jan. 6 insurrectionists.” No police officers were killed. One died on Jan. 7 from natural causes as medical authorities determined. On the basis of totally false charges, hundreds of Trump supporters have been held in solitary confinement to extract plea bargains as there is no evidence of insurrection.

The Oath Keepers are accused of “seditious intent,” but there are three documented instances in which they went to the aid of the police. This is covered toward the end of the documentary.

The documentary is objective. Too objective in my opinion. It should have been an indictment of the terrifying Third Reich behavior of the Democrats and their Justice Department Brownshirts. The documentary is long–one hour and 40 minutes. But watch it, 15 minutes at a time if necessary. There is a revolution underway that is creating a situation for you that is far worst than life in the Third Reich. The documentary gives you a chance to become aware of the facts that your free society is being overthrown while you sit there watching a sitcom or a football game. There is no one but the people to do anything about it. If they cannot be bothered, they are acquiescing in the rise of tyranny.

Jan. 6 Transcripts: Milley Blasts Flynn for ‘Unnerving’ Statements Leading Up to Capitol Riot

Gen. Mark Milley used his interview with the Jan. 6 committee to excoriate former national security adviser Michael Flynn in the lead-up to the Capitol riot, calling his statements “unnerving” and “highly wrong.”

On Dec. 18, 2020, Flynn appeared on Newsmax, on which he said former President Donald Trump had the authority to use “military capabilities” in swing states to “rerun an election in each of those states.” . . .

According to the latest tranche of transcripts released by the Jan. 6 committee, Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, thought Flynn’s comments were “unnerving to people, right, to the American people.”

“I think it’s incumbent upon me as a senior leader of the United States military to assure people — through media is a vehicle of doing it; through Congress is another vehicle of doing it — to assure people that the United States military was not going to be involved,” he told the committee on Nov. 17, 2021. . .

Asked about his fears following Flynn’s comments, he said, “Well, I mean, worst case would be — well, frankly, you saw close to the worst case on the 6th, which is the usurpation of the Constitution of the United States, the overthrow of the Constitution of the United States, and the illegal extension of power, the failure to conduct a peaceful transfer of power, a long-standing U.S. tradition. Ray Epps Told Nephew He ‘Orchestrated’ January 6

Ray Epps, a mysterious January 6 figure some theorized to be a federal informant, told his nephew that he “orchestrated” what transpired that day in 2021.

The bombastic assertion was revealed in a lightly redacted transcript released Thursday by the House January 6 Committee. Claiming he made a poor choice of words to his nephew, Epps insisted to congressional investigators his actions had nothing to do with inciting the Capitol riot and, to the contrary, he was trying to stop the onset of violence. Epps, who is seen in video clips encouraging people to march into the Capitol, also flatly denied he was acting on behalf of any government agency while in Washington, D.C.

His nephew, 28-year-old Dalin, texted Epps on the morning of January 6, saying, “You and Jim be safe.” Jim is Epps’ son, who was also in the nation’s capital. Hours later, at 2:12 p.m., as the violence at the Capitol was getting underway, Epps responded with a brag. “I was in the front with a few others. I also orchestrated it,” he said.

Investigators pressed Epps to explain his wording.

Jan. 6 Committee Withdraws Trump Subpoena

By Washington Times. The Jan. 6 special committee has withdrawn its subpoena of former President Donald Trump.

In a letter sent Wednesday to the former president’s lawyers, the panel’s chairman said it was wrapping up its work and no longer needed his testimony.

“In light of the imminent end of our investigation, the Select Committee can no longer pursue the specific information covered by the subpoena,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, Mississippi Democrat, wrote in the letter, which was obtained by CNN.

“Therefore, through this letter, I hereby formally withdraw the subpoena issued to former President Trump, and notify you that he is no longer obligated to comply or produce records in response to said subpoena,” he wrote.
