Newly Obtained Emails Shed More Light on CDC’s False Vaccine Safety Monitoring Statements

Newly obtained emails show the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) made a false statement on COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring in 2021, months before agency officials gave false statements on the matter to The Epoch Times.

The emails also show top officials in the agency discussing performing safety monitoring on a key database for myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation that has been linked to the vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna.

The CDC promised in 2021 in a set of operating procedures to perform a type of analysis called Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) on reports of adverse reactions following COVID-19 vaccination. The reports are submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which officials have described as “the nation’s early warning system” for post-vaccination adverse events. The CDC also said in an updated set of operating procedures in 2022 that it would perform the analysis.

But the CDC has made false statements three times this year on PRRs, initially saying such analysis was outside the agency’s purview, then saying the analysis was performed starting in 2021, then saying the analysis did not begin until 2022. The newly obtained emails show that an official falsely said the CDC does not perform PRR analysis to an editor in 2021.

John Gregory, a health editor at NewsGuard, wrote to the CDC on Oct. 19, 2021, asking for a comment regarding a claim that the CDC’s PRR analysis cannot accurately identify when a vaccine causes adverse events, one of the emails shows. Martha Sharan, a CDC spokeswoman, sent the query to Dr. John Su, who leads the CDC’s VAERS team, and Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, who also works on vaccine safety. CDC Recommends Masking to Stop Monkeypox Despite Overwhelming Evidence It Spreads Through Gay Sex

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a study Friday suggesting that people wear masks to protect themselves from monkeypox despite growing evidence the virus is transmitted sexually.

The CDC’s Friday Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR), its internal journal, included research on the spread of monkeypox via contaminated surfaces. Researchers in Utah sampled 30 different samples from the home of two monkeypox patients, and found that 21 of the surfaces yielded positive real-time PCR results, but none tested positive for viral cultures.

Still, despite the lack of live virus found in the samples, the paper still warns that monkeypox can spread through surface contact. The agency also recommends wearing masks at the bottom of the paper, even though little evidence has emerged that monkeypox is an airborne virus.

The CDC’s own website doesn’t list airborne transmission as a way monkeypox spreads. The Santa Clara County, California, Health Department is telling the public that monkeypox isn’t airborne. Reuters has fact-checked claims that the CDC believes monkeypox is airborne as false.

CDC to Be Overhauled After Scathing Admission About COVID Response

The director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday announced a “reset” that will focus on making the organization quicker at responding to new health threats amid criticism of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CDC’s director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, told the agency’s staff about the changes, which include internal staffing moves and steps to speed up data releases.

“For 75 years, CDC and public health have been preparing for COVID-19, and in our big moment, our performance did not reliably meet expectations,” she said in a statement obtained by The Washington Post. “My goal is a new, public health action-oriented culture at CDC that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, communication, and timeliness.”

Joe Biden Claims His Personal COVID Czar Is ‘Running the CDC’

President Joe Biden said Tuesday that his personal COVID-19 czar, Dr. Ashish Jha, is “basically running the CDC” at an event celebrating the authorization of COVID-19 vaccines for young children.

Biden made the remark Tuesday at a vaccination clinic sponsored by the District of Columbia Department of Health, which he visited with his wife Jill Biden. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended COVID-19 vaccines for kids under five years old last week. Biden pointed at Jha amidst a crowd to laud him for his efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Is the doctor here? I’m sorry, you see Dr. Jha, see that guy up there? He’s the guy that’s running the CDC for me these days,” Biden said. “And he’s up there, he’s standing on stage ready to perform.”

CDC ‘Tracked Millions of Cell Phones’ to See if You Obeyed Lockdowns

The Centers for Disease Control bought location data for tens of millions of Americans’ cell phones to analyze “compliance” with COVID recommendations, targeting people visiting schools and churches, according to a new report.

And then it moved quickly to buy more data, for “general CDC purposes,” explained the report assembled from information obtained by Motherboard and published at Vice.

Writer Joseph Cox explained, “Newly released documents showed the CDC planned to use phone location data to monitor schools and churches, and wanted to use the data for many non-COVID-19 purposes too.”

Said the report, “Location data is information on a device’s location sourced from the phone, which can then show where a person lives, works, and where they went. The sort of data the CDC bought was aggregated—meaning it was designed to follow trends that emerge from the movements of groups of people—but researchers have repeatedly raised concerns with how location data can be deanonymized and used to track specific people.”

White House: Legal Defense of Mask Mandate Necessary to Preserve CDC Power

The White House on Wednesday said President Joe Biden’s administration would continue to defend mask mandates leveled by the Centers for Disease Control, despite airline passengers celebrating a court ruling effectively ending them.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki defended the two-week extension of the mask mandate on planes and public transportation, arguing the CDC “felt they needed that” to examine more data about the coronavirus pandemic.

She said the Justice Department announced its willingness to defend the CDC’s mandate to help preserve the agency’s power over public transportation.

“I mean our focus here was seeing what power we had to preserve what we felt was in the public health interest of the country,” Psaki explained.

CDC: This Disease Rocketed Across U.S. During Pandemic in 2020

The Centers for Disease Control has released a new report revealing the United States sustained a surge in sexually transmitted diseases during 2020 – putting the levels at a 30-year high.

The Daily Mail cited the CDC details regarding gonorrhea and syphilis, and said the 678,000 cases of gonorrhea was the highest number since 1990.

“For syphilis — a condition that can triggers painful rashes — there were 144,000 cases spotted over the same period, also a record for the last three decades but up just three percent in 12 months,” the Mail reported.

The report said total cases of STDs hit 2.4 million in 2020, down a small percentage from 2019 but explained that change likely was because fewer tests were done during the fight against COVID-19.

Trump’s CDC Director Was Reportedly Sidelined By Fauci After Urging Him To Investigate Lab Leak

Former director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Robert Redfield was reportedly sidelined from discussions about the coronavirus pandemic after he warned Dr. Anthony Fauci that COVID-19 may have originated from a lab, according to a Vanity Fair investigation.

Redfield, a virologist who headed the CDC between 2018 and 2021, urged Fauci to “vigorously investigate” not only a possible natural origin of COVID-19, but the possibility that it had originated in the Wuhan Institute Virology (WIV) and was accidentally released, according to Vanity Fair. Redfield said from that point forward, he was excluded from discussions about the origin of the virus.

“Their goal was to have a single narrative,” he told Vanity Fair. He said he hadn’t even been aware that there were further discussions about the origin of the virus until after they occurred. Let’s Go Brandon! Overdose Deaths Soar From Fentanyl, Flowing From Mexico, China

American drug-related overdose deaths are soaring from fentanyl, a powerful synthetic drug that originates from China and enters the United States’ unsealed border with Mexico, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

“For the first time, more than 100,000 Americans had died of drug overdoses over a 12-month period,” the Associated Press (AP) reported. “About two-thirds of the deaths were linked to fentanyl and other synthetic drugs, which can be 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, heroin or prescription opioids.”

In some states, possession with intent to distribute less than 14 grams of fentanyl is a two-year prison-worthy offense. According to the Drug Enforcement Agency, the drug is so potent that 14 grams can constitute 700 deadly doses.

The AP also acknowledged that fentanyl originates from China, then moves through Mexico, and thereby enters the rustbelt states. The states most impacted by fentanyl are West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Ohio — all rural states with dominant white populations.

“The Texas Military Department said that from March 2021 through earlier this month, its troops near the border confiscated more than 1,200 pounds (540 kilograms) of fentanyl,” the AP reported. “By comparison, federal authorities reported confiscating about 11,000 pounds (4,990 kilograms) in 2021 — still a fraction of what entered the country.” (Read more from “Let’s Go Brandon! VAERS is the primary government-funded system for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. . .

30,591 adverse events, including 1,755 rated as serious and 42 reported deaths.The most recent deaths involve a 17-year-old boy (VAERS I.D. 2171083) from Illinois with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who died from cardiac arrest after receiving his second dose of Pfizer’s COVID vaccine, and a 14-year-old boy from Guam (VAERS I.D. 2157944) who died one week after his first dose of Pfizer when he suddenly committed suicide. . .

648 reports of myocarditis and pericarditis, with 636 cases attributed to Pfizer’s vaccine.
