Charles Krauthammer said Wednesday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that Hillary Clinton’s attempt to soften her criticism of President Obama’s foreign policy is a “blatant display of Clinton inauthenticity.”

Clinton on Wednesday downplayed the comments she made in an interview with The Atlantic magazine, saying she plans to hug it out with the president and reiterating their shared values. In the interview, Clinton suggested that Obama’s foreign-policy mantra of “don’t do stupid stuff” lacked sufficient depth.

Krauthammer, a syndicated columnist and a Fox News contributor, blasted Clinton for what he said was an attempt to retract her critique.

Krauthammer: 'If Fences Don't Work, Why Is There One Around The White House?'

Photo Credit: TownHall The illegal immigration problem at the Southwest border is worse than it has ever been—tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors are coming into the U.S. at unprecedented rates. Border Patrol is overwhelmed and lacking adequate resources to handle the influx, and the administration’s proposed solutions to stem the tide are underwhelming to say the least…

BILL O’REILLY: How do you secure the border, Charles?

CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: Alright, here’s what I’ve been on for years. You start with a fence. It’s very simple. People say, ‘Oh, fences don’t work. You make a ladder.’ Well, then you build two fences, triple strand fences. San Diego did that in the mid 90’s and within a decade, the illegal immigration rate at that point was reduced by 90% and people ended up going through other places like Arizona.

Krauthammer: If Obama Were A Republican, He Would’ve Been Impeached Over These Abuses (+video)

Look, he is not a natural politician. I don’t think he even likes politics, which is odd for a man who is president. He clearly has completely failed at doing what the president has to do, which is work with the other side. But the worst part of it is he doesn’t care about the constitution.

On FOX NEWS Charles Krauthammer commented on the just-released and massive 840-page report on climate change from the Obama Administration, which forecasted dire consequences as a result of “increasingly disruptive” changes in the weather.

In the context of various proposals to counter these changes, such as increases in renewable energy, reductions in carbon emissions, and increased vehicle fuel standards, Krauthammer was extremely critical.
Two of the most salient comments:

“We don’t control the carbon emissions of the other 96% of humanity, especially China and India.”

“All we are doing is committing economic suicide in the name of do-goodism that will not do an iota of good.”

Krauthammer Hails ‘Towering’ Affirmative Action Decision: ‘Exactly the Way You Want To Do It In a Democracy’

Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer praised the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold a Michigan law banning affirmative action in public universities, calling it “exactly the way you want to to do it in a democracy.”

Krauthammer appeared on a Fox News panel along with the Weekly Standard’s Steve Hayes and liberal commentator Juan Williams to discuss the decision.

“The left is trying to institutionalize affirmative action,” Krauthammer asserted, “to make it impossible for any legislature or any referendum ever to abolish it, ever in the history of the country. Essentially to say that it’s an intrinsic part of the Constitution, racial preferences are here forever.”

“An outrageous proposition that was rejected by the court,” he continued. “And it said, ‘We’re not going to rule that it’s intrinsically in the constitution, just as 11 years ago we didn’t want to rule that it’s not allowed.”

Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer says comments from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush about immigration being an act of love were “bizarre,” predicting that when the Republican enters the presidential race, those words will come back to haunt him.

“If he was feeling any optimism before that interview, I think it’s gone away after the interview,” Krauthammer said on Fox News’s “Special Report” Monday night of comments Bush made to Fox News Channel over the weekend.

Bush had told the network in the interview that illegal immigration should not be a felony, but is “an act of love. It’s an act of commitment to your family.”

Charles Krauthammer told viewers Tuesday on “Special Report with Bret Baier” that “we are taking a calculated risk” when it comes to reports that President Obama is expected to call for an end to the NSA’s bulk data collection program.

“Look, I’m sympathetic to the idea that we have to find a compromise,” the syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor said. “I think it’s probably one you have to have given the mood of the country…but if we get a second attack, we’re going to go violently in the other direction.”

NSA Chief: I’d Love 15 Minutes Alone With Snowden

By Greg Richter and Cathy Burke.

National Security Agency Director General Keith Alexander says that if he had 15 minutes alone with NSA leaker Edward Snowden, he’d make sure he knew how much damage Snowden has done to the United States and its allies.

“I’m not a violent person. I’m not going to try to beat him up or anything,” Alexander said Tuesday on “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel. “I am hugely disappointed that someone that signed a document that said I can be trusted with top-secret data couldn’t be,” he told host Brett Baier.

Alexander said he would tell Snowden, who is living under temporary political asylum in Russia, that he has been a “huge disappointment,” and might also tell him some of the classified problems he has caused so he knows “the significant damage to our nation and to our allies.”

Snowden has made some “huge mistakes” that “will haunt him for the rest of his life,” Alexander said.

Alexander, who leaves his post at the end of this week, said his agency knows what information Snowden was able to take via computer thumb drive. Some that he has not released would hurt military operations and could endanger lives, he said.

‘Delusional’: Krauthammer Slams Obama Admin’s Belief that Putin has ‘Blinked’ on Ukraine

Photo Credit: Screenshot By Brendan Bordelon.

Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer dismissed as “delusional” the Obama administration’s belief that Vladimir Putin has halted his advance in Ukraine, claiming the Russian president is “lying through his teeth.”

Krauthammer spoke with Fox News’ Bret Baier to discuss the Russian invasion of Crimean region in southern Ukraine. Many assumed Putin would follow up this action with a full-scale invasion of eastern Ukraine. But in a rambling press conference Tuesday, the Russian president indicated there may be no reason to further escalate the situation.

President Obama seized on the comments, saying he hopes Putin may at least take a “pause.” But not everybody is buying it.

By Arlette Saenz.

Sen. John McCain blasted President Obama today for his handling of Russia, saying the crisis in Ukraine should serve as a wake-up call for the president about the Russian president’s intentions.

“It’s time we woke up about Vladimir Putin. It’s time this administration got real,” McCain, R-Ariz., said on the Senate floor. “We are on the verge of possibly of seeing a move to re-assert the old Russian empire, which is Mr. Putin’s lifelong ambition.”

Russia test-fires ICBM amid tension over Ukraine

By Reuters.

Russia said it had successfully test-fired an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) on Tuesday, with tensions running high over its military intervention in Ukraine’s Crimea region.

A U.S. official said the United States had received proper notification from Russia ahead of the test and that the initial notification pre-dated the crisis in Crimea. The Russian Defence Ministry could not be reached for comment.

The Strategic Rocket Forces launched an RS-12M Topol missile from the southerly Astrakhan region and the dummy warhead hit its target at a proving ground in Kazakhstan, Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Yegorov told state-run news agency RIA.

The launch site, Kapustin Yar, is near the Volga River about 450 km (280 miles) east of the Ukrainian border. Kazakhstan, a Russian ally in a post-Soviet security grouping, is further to the east.

Russia conducts test launches of its ICBMs fairly frequently and often announces the results, a practice seen as intended to remind the West of Moscow’s nuclear might and reassure Russians that President Vladimir Putin will protect them.

Heating Up: Climate Change Advocates Try to Silence Krauthammer

Photo Credit: Fox News Charles Krauthammer says it right up front in his Washington Post column: “I’m not a global warming believer. I’m not a global warming denier.”

He does, however, challenge the notion that the science on climate change is settled and says those who insist otherwise are engaged in “a crude attempt to silence critics and delegitimize debate.”

How ironic, then, that some environmental activists launched a petition urging the Post not to publish Krauthammer’s column on Friday.

Their response to opinions they disagree with is to suppress the speech.

Brad Johnson (@ClimateBrad), the editor of HillHeat.com and a former Think Progress staffer, boasted on Twitter that 110,000 people had urged the newspaper “to stop publishing climate lies” like the Krauthammer piece.
