Chinese Spy Stole U.S. Missile Blueprints

A dual US-Chinese national pleaded guilty on Monday to stealing American missile secrets.

Chenguang Gong, a 59-year-old engineer, transferred more than 3,600 files from an unnamed “research and development company” in Los Angeles, where he worked, to personal storage devices last year, according to the US Department of Justice.

Among the transferred files, which were found at Gong’s home in Southern California, were “blueprints for sophisticated infrared sensors designed for use in space-based systems to detect nuclear missile launches and track ballistic and hypersonic missiles”, according to the Justice Department.

There were also blueprints for sensors that can enable military aircraft to “detect incoming heat-seeking missiles and take countermeasures”, such as by jamming the missiles’ infrared tracking ability.

The transfer also included documents relating to the development of “next generation” sensors, which can detect low observable targets as well as the blueprints for the “mechanical assemblies”, which were used to house and cool the company’s own sensors. Merger of European-U.S. Satellite Companies Raises Fears of Chinese Access to Military Communication

The proposed merger between European satellite service provider SES, a major Pentagon space contractor, and Virginia-based Intelsat is raising national security concerns over SES’ strategic partnership with a Chinese state-linked satellite company, according to national security experts.

The $3.1 billion merger announced in April was followed a month later by SES reaching a strategic partnership with China’s AeroSat Link for an international airline inflight internet service program.

AeroSat Link is a subsidiary of state-run China Satellite Communications Co. Ltd., known as ChinaSat, that is part of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp. (CASC).

Both ChinaSat and CASC are identified as Chinese military companies, and both were sanctioned by the Treasury Department in the past based on national security concerns.

Luxembourg-based SES operates a network of nearly 70 satellites in two different orbits, along with ground infrastructure that provides video and data services to 99% of the world’s population, according to the company website. Major Corporation Bans Travel To China After Employee Is Allegedly Prevented From Leaving

A leading multinational corporation suspended all travel to China on Thursday following allegations that one of its employees was detained against their will while attempting to leave the country.

Wells Fargo halted all travel to China after an employee, Chenyue Mao, was reportedly prevented from leaving the country, according to Reuters. The banking giant is investigating the situation while assuring that efforts are underway to bring Mao back to the United States as soon as possible.

Mao, a seasoned banker and managing director at Wells Fargo, was allegedly detained by Chinese authorities during a recent trip. The Wall Street Journal cited sources familiar with the incident, indicating that Mao, who has worked at Wells Fargo for over a decade, was placed under an exit ban while in China. Wells Fargo said they are working through the proper channels to resolve the matter.

Mao, a U.S. citizen born in Shanghai and currently based in Atlanta, played a key role in Wells Fargo’s international factoring business. Mao’s interactions with Chinese firms have included trade financing and cross-border capital strategies. Despite this, the reason for Mao’s detention remains unclear, as no formal explanation from Chinese authorities has been provided. GOP Senators Present Evidence China Bankrolls Environmentalist Lawsuits To Cripple U.S. Power

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, announced the Islamic Republic won the twelve-day war between Iran and Israel in his first public comments since the cease-fire Thursday.

Khamenei released the pre-recorded statement after President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire Monday, signaling that Iran considers the war concluded by declaring victory.

He remained in hiding during the war, according to the Associated Press. He was sheltered in a “secret location,” the outlet reported.

“I extend my congratulations to the great Iranian nation for its victory over the Zionist entity,” Khamenei said, as translated by the Hindustan Times. “Despite all the claims and hype, the Zionist entity was almost crushed and collapsed in the face of the Islamic Republic strikes.”

Khamenei continued by thanking God, whom he claimed aided Iran’s forces “as they penetrated the advanced multi-layered Zionist defenses and raised many of their civilian and military sites to the ground.”

China Raises Eyebrows With ‘Mystery’ Flights Reportedly Sent to Iran

Several Boeing 747s have been spotted on radar leaving China for Iran over the last week, according to reports, sparking concerns that the CCP is helping the Middle Eastern nation transport cargo or people out of the country as Israel continues to strike the country’s nuclear facilities.

Starting on June 14th, FlightRadar24 shows that at least five flights traveled from China to Iran, and The Telegraph reported that the “mystery transport planes” had flown westward along northern China before crossing into Kazakhstan, south through Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, and then fell off radar as they approached Iran.

Additionally, the report indicated that the flights had a final destination of Luxembourg but don’t appear to have ever crossed into European airspace.

Some experts have speculated that these types of planes are typically used for transport and could be evidence of China aiding its longtime ally Iran during the conflict with Israel, although Fox News Digital has not independently confirmed the nature of the flights.

“I think it’s important to remember what the relationship is, forty-three percent of China’s oil and gas comes from the Middle East, a large volume of that from Iran,” Robert Greenway, director of the Heritage Foundation’s Center for National Defense, told “The Ingraham Angle” on Wednesday night. Unearthed Photos Reveal Troubling Connection Between Top Dems and CCP Ally

A female educator, pageant winner, and interpreter from China who has multiple ties to the Chinese Communist Party has cozied up to several top Democrats in New York over the last four to five years, a Fox News Digital review found.

Wang Zaozao, who also goes by “Linda,” was born and raised in Anqing, China. After going to school and specializing in “Chinese-English interpretation for three years” in her native country, she moved to the United States to further her education at Columbia University, according to her website bio. Her education then led to her founding the Zao Learning Center in 2018, which caters to the “training of children models/actors with bilingual language skills” and has multiple training centers in New York and Taiwan.

In addition to working as an educator and teaching hundreds of children of Chinese descent in New York, she has been a “bilingual emcee/TV host for about a decade” at dozens of “large-scale cultural events,” which have featured several top Democrats, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. An archived version of Wang’s Zao Center says it provides “excellent learning atmosphere and professional training to set you off to succeed in the mainstream modeling/entertainment industry.”

As part of her educational qualifications, she touts on her website that she has obtained the “Advanced Interpretation Qualification Certificate” and the Teacher Qualification Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of China (MOE), which is a key organ of the CCP and plays a crucial role in helping “formulate the curriculum” in Chinese schools and abroad for international educational exchanges, according to their website.

The MOE also directs the “construction of the [Chinese Communist] Party in institutions of higher learning” in addition to working with multiple other CCP departments. A 2017 report from The Diplomat revealed that the Ministry of Education spent five years revising liberal arts textbooks in order to emphasize the importance of “socialist core values” for students. The report went on to highlight how “new textbooks focus on strengthening the revolutionary tradition of the CCP.” (Read more from “Unearthed Photos Reveal Troubling Connection Between Top Dems and CCP Ally” HERE)

Trump Admin Reportedly Chokes China’s Access To Nuclear Energy Equipment

The Trump administration has reportedly suspended licenses for U.S. nuclear equipment suppliers to sell to China as trade tensions escalate between the two largest economies in the world, Reuters reported Friday.

The U.S. Department of Commerce reportedly halted licenses for exports to China this week for parts and equipment used to build nuclear power plants, according to Reuters, which cited four anonymous sources familiar with the situation. The reported move follows previous U.S. export restrictions targeting China’s access to key goods — including machine tools, chip design software, butane and aviation equipment — as trade frictions have intensified between Beijing and Washington.

On May 12, the White House announced that the deal had been reached with China to reduce tariffs imposed by both countries for a period of 90 days while a more permanent deal was negotiated. However, the deal quickly unraveled, with both sides accusing the other of violating its terms.

“I made a FAST DEAL with China in order to save them from what I thought was going to be a very bad situation, and I didn’t want to see that happen. Because of this deal, everything quickly stabilized and China got back to business as usual. Everybody was happy! That is the good news!!!” President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social on May 30. “The bad news is that China, perhaps not surprisingly to some, HAS TOTALLY VIOLATED ITS AGREEMENT WITH US. So much for being Mr. NICE GUY!”

The Commerce Department told Reuters in late May that it is reviewing exports of strategically significant items to China, stating that “Commerce has suspended existing export licenses or imposed additional license requirements while the review is pending” in some cases. Chinese ‘Kill Switches’ Found Hidden in U.S. Solar Farms

Chinese “kill switches” that could allow Beijing to cripple power grids and trigger blackouts across the West have been found in equipment at US solar farms.

The rogue devices, including cellular radios, were discovered in Chinese-made power inverters that are used to connect solar panels and wind turbines to electricity grids across the world, including the UK.

The hidden communications equipment could be deployed remotely to switch off inverters with potentially catastrophic results.

The discovery, reported by Reuters, will heighten concerns that China has installed covert malware in critical energy infrastructure throughout the US and Europe. The kill switches could be deployed at any time in the event of a confrontation between China and the West.

Over the past nine months, the suspect devices were found in inverters and batteries from multiple Chinese suppliers by US experts who strip down equipment to check for security issues before they are connected to power grids. Judge Says Tariffs Are Authorized by Emergency Powers Act in Win for Trump

You can buy a set of three pads of legal paper, “proudly made in the U.S.A.” by TOPS, for $16.64 (that is, $5.55 per pad). Or go to Simplified and get an imported two-pad set, currently marked down to $22 ($11 a pad).

Simplified is not confident customers are willing to pay much more for its products, so when President Donald Trump put tariffs on China, it went to court to object.

The case was filed in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Florida, Pensacola Division, on April 3 by Emily Ley Paper, Inc., an upscale stationery website doing business under the name Simplified.

The Trump administration asked to move the case to the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT). The outcome of that request could make this case an easy win for Trump once the CIT reviews the transfer order.

Fentanyl from China

The case was triggered by Trump’s effort to stem the flow of drugs coming into the U.S. On Jan. 20, Trump signed a proclamation declaring a national emergency exists at the U.S. southern border, based in part on the many Americans who have died from overdosing on drugs smuggled into the country. Among those drugs were fentanyl and other synthetic opioids made in China. Drugs also enter the U.S. hidden in shipping containers. US and China Agree to Slash Tariffs Temporarily After Trade Talks

The United States and China agreed Monday to a 90-day truce in their raging trade war — with each agreeing for now to slash reciprocal tariffs by more than 100 percentage points, bringing China’s duty rate down to just 10%.

Under the agreement, the US will drop its 145% tariff rate on most Chinese goods to 30%, while China will lower its rate to 10% from 125%, officials said.

The agreement also includes a mechanism for talks toward a permanent deal to continue — and the two sides spoke about how they will both address the flow of fentanyl from China to the US, a White House readout of the agreement read.

“The relationship is very, very good. I’ll speak with President Xi [Jinping] maybe at the end of the week,” Trump told reporters, adding that “to me, the biggest thing that came out of that meeting is they’ve agreed — now we have to get it papered — but they’ve agreed to open up China.”

The president also warned that if China doesn’t agree to a final deal in 90 days, the US tariff rate would raise to “substantially higher” than the current 30%.

“I think they’re going to follow,” Trump predicted. “I think they want [a deal] very badly.” (Read more from “US and China Agree to Slash Tariffs Temporarily After Trade Talks” HERE)
