What’s up With the Feds’ Civil War Psy-Op?

To fight a civil war, you have to organize. But organizing is all but impossible for those who genuinely dream of taking on the state. The U.S. government is incompetent at many (most?) of its assigned responsibilities. But it’s quite good at keeping tabs on any hint of “right-wing” “insurrectionary” impulses. That task is made much easier by the fact that there is so little such activity to monitor—so little, in fact, that the feds increasingly feel compelled to incite it.

It would be hard to hide a mass movement of people gearing up to fight a civil war. Do you see one anywhere? I don’t. If there were one, don’t you think the feds would be all over it? Of course they would. And don’t you think regime media would be blaring about it 24/7? Again—of course. This is a classic case of a dog not barking. Silence is confirmation that nothing is happening.

Organization, like civil war, requires elites. Indeed civil wars, like all wars, are fought between two opposing factions of elites. Even backwoods insurgencies have leaders. Where are the elites poised to lead red America in a civil war? Who are they? There is Trump to be sure, and regime propaganda insists that he’s a modern-day Jeff Davis-Robert E. Lee hybrid. But this is the same Trump who spent January 6 tweeting. The real elites made sure that was his last day on that platform—and then impeached him for the second time. The real elites—Republican and Democrat alike—wish he would crawl into a hole and die. Trump may have tens of millions of committed followers. But a real civil war requires generals and colonels and captains and lieutenants and sergeants. Go ahead—name some. I’ll wait. . .

[So why the psy-op of the coming civil war? M]any elites intuit that if a civil war were to come, they would bear the lion’s share of the blame: for despoiling middle America for decades, and then for demonizing decent, normal people for daring to object to their despoilation. One way to cope, psychologically, with the guilty conscience that may arise from harming so many for so long is to contrive rationalizations for why the victims are evil and deserve it.

The truth is that for the last 50 years, and accelerating greatly over the last 10, America’s elites have relentlessly divided the country, strip-mined its institutions, leeched its wealth, and attacked a large portion of its people. Those actions, taken together, may be said to be almost a recipe for civil war. Perhaps the smarter elites have concluded that such a war is now inevitable and they want to get a jumpstart on assigning blame. A cynical person (not me!) might wonder if civil war is not exactly what the ruling class wants and is trying to provoke. (Read more from “What’s up With the Feds’ Civil War Psy-Op?” HERE)

Expert: People Who Study the Origins of Civil Wars See ‘Indicators’ the U.S. Is on the Brink of Conflict

Though the idea of another civil war in the near future seems far-fetched to many Americans, people who study such conflicts might disagree, according to Timothy Snyder, a history professor at Yale University.

Snyder, an expert on the rise of authoritarianism, discussed the future of American democracy in an interview with Insider during which he said he fears the US might not survive if former President Donald Trump runs again in 2024. . .

“First of all, I just want to say that, for the people who actually study the origins of civil wars, not just in the US, but as a class of events, America doesn’t look good right now,” Snyder said.

He cited the high degree of polarization, beliefs in alternative realities, and the celebration of violence, pointing to some who praised the actions of Kyle Rittenhouse, the teen who killed two people at a racial justice protest in Wisconsin in 2020. (A jury acquitted Rittenhouse, who said he acted in self-defense.)

“Those social scientists who actually work on this topic — neutrally — see indicators in the United States, which suggests that we are on the brink of some kind of conflict,” Snyder said. Civil War? Two-Thirds of Republicans in the South Want To Secede, Nearly Half of West Coast Dems Ready to Break Away From Union

An alarming poll was released this week that highlights the concerning and growing divide in the United States. Two-thirds of Republicans in the South and nearly half of Democrats on the West Coast want to secede from the union, according to a new poll.

Bright Line Watch, a self-described “initiative to monitor democratic practices in the U.S. and call attention to threats to American democracy,” and YouGov conducted a survey of 2,650 American adults between June 26 and July 2, 2021. For the poll, participants were presented with a hypothetical separation of the United States into five regional unions. Respondents were asked, “Would you support or oppose [your state] seceding from the United States to join a new union with [list of states in new union]?”

The region and political affiliation most welcoming seceding from the United States were Republicans from the South, where 66% said they would want to break off into a new country. Half of the independent voters were also ready to form a new country, which would include 13 Southern states: Texas, Florida, Virginia, Tennesee, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky.

The poll found that 47% of Democrats in the Pacific region, which includes California, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and Alaska, were ready to break away from the union.

The survey said 43% of independents were ready to secede in the Heartland region: Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska. Unity on Civil War: Both Sides See U.S. ‘Headed for Bloodshed’

The country is finally united — but not in the way that President Biden hoped for.

In a new Zogby Poll, both sides agree that the United States is teetering on the brink of civil war.

Pollster Jonathan Zogby of Zogby Analytics said that overall, 46% believe civil war is likely versus 43% who don’t.

“It’s quite astounding that nearly half of voters think we are headed for bloodshed!” he said in the poll analysis.

And while there were differences in how some groups felt about a civil war following the divisive election and the Capitol riot, more Democrats and Republicans than not said war is inevitable. (Read more from “Unity on Civil War: Both Sides See U.S. ‘Headed for Bloodshed’” HERE)

Is America Doomed to Split Apart?

Is anyone else too old to start living on his knees? See, submission is not in the cards. The question is whether preserving our freedom means dissolving the Union. And though our alleged betters tell us we are not allowed to think about that horrible prospect, it’s the ruling caste itself that raised the question.

When you get a vile clown like Chuck Schumer promising to “change America” if he steals another Georgia election in the coming run-off, it only reaffirms that we don’t want to “change America” – at least not into the Venezuela-lite he and his coterie of neo-Marxist bother-wedders, fake Indians, and buck-tooth morons want. We’re not living in a dictatorship of the mediocre-tariat, or of anyone else, period. That’s non-negotiable. Nor does any alleged conservative principle of the kind pushed by supine gimps of the Mitt n’ French variety bind us to do so.

And yet there’s a huge chunk of America seemingly determined to suppress, disenfranchise, and even harm us. Save your gaslighting, hacks, I’m on Twitter, and every day I see people threatening us with, on the mild end, “reeducation” to “truth and reconciliation commissions” to outright murder. . .

Could a Split happen? In some ways it is happening already. In the last month two Californians I know have announced a move to Idaho. Don’t think that California is exporting only liberals – these are conservatives. There is, to some extent, a great sorting going on. Patriots are leaving big blue cities – and the House redistricting is showing that. But that means the blue enclaves are even bluer and therefore even more malignant. Don’t underestimate the lack of wisdom of these people – they are quite dumb and their own boundless incompetence, greed, and unaccountably high self-regard mean that they are absolutely capable of taking the kind of stupid and evil actions that could lead to the country tearing itself apart. Think about what they would spark if they banned guns, of banned fracking and caused millions to become impoverished for the pleasure of Marin County weather pagans, or even if they banned religious teachings they disapprove of. Think that’s crazy? Think the vicious people who sue nuns an celebrate killing babies have some sort of boundary they aren’t willing to cross? Experts Fear U.S. Is on the Brink of Civil War: ‘Millions of People Are Actively Prepared to Murder Their Countrymen’

Experts are warning that political violence could erupt around the election, but some believe the early stages of a civil conflict have already unfolded.

A new conflict would look nothing like the first Civil War, more than 150 years ago, and instead would likely resemble an insurgency like those seen in Colombia, Ireland and Syria — and possibly already in the U.S., reported Vice.

“A conflict in the pre-insurgency stage is difficult to detect because most activities are underground and the insurgency has yet to make its presence felt through the use of violence,” the CIA Guide to the Analysis of Insurgency notes. “Moreover, actions conducted in the open can easily be dismissed as nonviolent political activity. During this stage, an insurgent movement is beginning to organize: leadership is emerging, and the insurgents are establishing a grievance and a group identity, beginning to recruit and train members, and stockpiling arms and supplies.”

Another leading indicator of civil conflict is fear, according to David Kilcullen, of the nonprofit Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

“The worst atrocities come from fear, not hate, because people think they’re good,” Kicullen told Vice. “And they can justify incredible atrocious violence to themselves on the basis that it is defensive … you need a belief that some other group is encroaching on your territory, and then you need to have lost confidence in the ability of the state to act as an impartial and neutral protector. We’re already losing that confidence because of COVID.” (Read more from “Experts Fear U.S. Is on the Brink of Civil War: ‘Millions of People Are Actively Prepared to Murder Their Countrymen’” HERE)

Here’s How Many Americans Believe We’re on the Brink of a Second Civil War; Researcher Who Predicted 2020 Turmoil Says Social Upheaval Could Escalate to a Civil War

By The Blaze. A new poll released Monday says that as protests and riots continue across the nation, a third of Americans believe the U.S. will see a civil war in the next few years.

After the killing of George Floyd, we watched peaceful protests in the streets, protests demanding police accountability and racial reconciliation.

Then we saw many of those movements hijacked by violent anti-police, anti-capitalist radicals who used the passions of the day to foster riots and looting that burned businesses, destroyed lives, and even took over several Seattle blocks to create some sort of anti-American commune.

While things devolved, Rasmussen Reports polled Americans for their take on where the current civil strife could be heading, Confederate symbols, and race relations.

According to the survey, which was taken June 11-14, 34% of us believe the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years, a three-point jump since 2018. Republicans (40%) and voters unaffiliated with a political party (38%) were far more likely than Democrats (28%) to see a civil war looming. Rasmussen noted that this was a shift since 2018, when Democrats were more worried about a civil war. Researcher Who Predicted 2020 Turmoil Says Social Upheaval Could Escalate to a Civil War

By Complex. . .From a global health crisis to an economic downturn to the worst civil unrest the nation has seen in decades, it seemed no one could’ve predicted just how much turmoil 2020 would bring. Well, except for one man.

In 2010, Peter Turchin wrote a scientific report published in Nature predicting economic and social instabilities would peak around 2020. The researcher at the University of Connecticut cited wage stagnation, public debt, and overproduction of graduates with advanced degrees would be among the structural factors that would trigger chaos “caused by pent-up social pressures that seek an outlet.”

Turchin’s forecast was based on an analysis of anti-government demonstrations from 18th century to 2010. He determined United States experienced spikes in instability approximately every 50 years, around 1870, 1920, and 1970. He predicted the pattern would continue in 2020, as the country was expected to enter “a dip in the so-called Kondratiev wave, which traces 40-60-year economic-growth cycles.” . . .

But there was one major crisis Turchin didn’t see coming: the deadly coronavirus. The potentially fatal disease has wreaked havoc across the world, resulting in nearly half-a-million deaths and severe economic pain due to the widescale lockdowns. Turchin told TIME the high rates of unemployment could very well lead more tensions in the years to come, so much so he is now concerned the situation “may escalate all the way to a civil war.”

“Our conclusion is that, unfortunately, my 2010 forecast is correct. Unfortunately, because I would have greatly preferred it to become a ‘self-defeating prophecy,’ but that clearly has not happened,” he wrote in a recent blog post. “What does it mean for the current wave of protests and riots? The nature of such dynamical processes is such that it can subside tomorrow, or escalate; either outcome is possible. A spark landing even in abundant fuel can either go out, or grow to a conflagration.” (Read more from “Researcher Who Predicted 2020 Turmoil Says Social Upheaval Could Escalate to a Civil War” HERE)

Welcome to Your New World Order: A Rundown of Woke Insanity Amid the Newest Cultural Revolution; How Seattle Autonomous Zone Is Dangerously Defining Leadership

By The Federalist. America is in the midst of a new cultural civil war that for years has been brewing under the surface as left-wing academics breed aggressively woke children now permeating throughout the nation’s mainstream institutions.

Since the killing of George Floyd at the knees of a Minneapolis police officer sparked the worst outbreak of civil unrest in decades, protests that grew out of demanding justice for Floyd morphed into a dark operation to fundamentally transform the nation’s psyche, convincing the people of their own inherent evil from ancestral wrongs.

Battle lines are clearly being drawn, where the radical left has offered Americans a binary choice in a false dichotomy between total submission or unrelenting exile with those opposed to the new woke world order cast out of society as unrepentant racists refusing to atone for past generations’ sins. No justice, no peace. Silence is violence. You’re either with us, or against us. There is no middle ground. Which side of history are you on?

Of course in reality, (and sanity), it’s clearly not that black and white, but if recent events show us anything, they expose that this mentality is no longer one of a fringe left-wing movement but a central tenant of our mainstream culture of what it means to make “progress.” America, according to the now only acceptable narrative, is an irredeemably racist society that was built for the sole purpose to oppress. It has never been great. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is as guilty as the slaveholders who lived more than 150 years ago. Washington State Woman Arrested, Accused of Setting 5 Police Vehicles Ablaze in George Floyd Riots

By Fox News. A 25-year-old Tacoma woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly lighting five unmarked Seattle police vehicles on fire during riots at the end of last month.

Margaret Aislinn Channon faces federal arson charges in connection with the incident, according to U.S. Attorney Brian Moran.

“This defendant was captured by multiple cameras using an accelerant, lit like a blowtorch, to start fires in five vehicles,” Moran said in a statement.

The alleged arsons happened on May 30 around the area of Sixth Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle. Local police abandoned the nearby East Precinct building, at 12th Avenue and Pine Street, earlier this week following violent protests that followed the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. Demonstrators have moved in to the surrounding neighborhood and declared it a “cop-free” area that they call the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone.” (Read more from “Washington State Woman Arrested, Accused of Setting 5 Police Vehicles Ablaze in George Floyd Riots” HERE)

How Seattle Autonomous Zone Is Dangerously Defining Leadership

By The Hill. In Seattle, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, better known as Chaz, seeks to create a communal experiment in governing free of cops. With raucous meetings in the Seattle People Department, formerly known as the Seattle Police Department in the East Precinct, Chaz is a work in progress covered in graffiti. Beyond its barricaded border, however, Chaz is already defining governance. In Seattle, Mayor Jenny Durkan is dismissing the concept for leadership. In Washington, President Trump is claiming authority he does not have to retake the district. It is a tale of two very different cities, with one official abdicating her authority and the other exaggerating his.

Officials struggled to ignore that people have taken control of one police precinct and six blocks of the largest city in Washington state. Governor Jay Inslee was ridiculed for denying he was aware of the takeover, which has been the focus of every major network and newspaper for days now. As Inslee struggled with denial, Durkan swiftly moved to acceptance. . .

In a way, that is the greatest achievement of the anarchist movement. The government seems to have melted away, not just in Chaz but all of Seattle. The support from Durkan for their “desire to build a better world” ignores that she was elected to govern the entire city of Seattle. Withdrawing the police and giving in to mob control of even one small area is antithetical to the most basic concepts of governance. Indeed, unwilling citizens of Chaz could sue over that decision to surrender control of their precinct. The city could also be sued for damages caused by abandonment.

The irony is that Durkan and the city can be protected by the very thing the denizens of Chaz, and Democratic leaders, have called to eliminate, which is immunity. Police have won lawsuits over the failure to prevent injuries or respond to calls as the discretionary decisions left for a city. Some of those cases turned on the “public duty doctrine” that shields governments from liability when it refuses to act to enforce laws. Alarming Poll: Here’s How Many Americans Think We’re on the Verge of Civil War

Partisan political division and the resulting incivility has reached a low in America, with 67% believing that the nation is nearing civil war, according to a new national survey.

“The majority of Americans believe that we are two-thirds of the way to being on the edge of civil war. That to me is a very pessimistic place,” said Mo Elleithee, the executive director of Georgetown University’s Institute of Politics and Public Service.

And worse, he said in announcing the results of the institute’s Battleground Poll, the political division is likely to make the upcoming 2020 presidential race the nastiest in modern history.

Highlighting findings that show voters angered with compromise and growing unfavorable ratings of President Trump and most 2020 Democratic presidential candidates, he said the poll “paints a scenario, a picture of a highly negative campaign that will continue to exacerbate the incivility in our public discourse.”

He added, “It will be a sort of race to the bottom, or has the potential to be a race to the bottom.”

The Civility Poll is an offshoot of the famous bipartisan Battleground Poll conducted by Democratic pollster Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners and Ed Goeas of the Tarrance Group. (Read more from “Alarming Poll: Here’s How Many Americans Think We’re on the Verge of Civil War” HERE)

Trump Honors Black Civil War Troops With His Very First National Monument

On Friday, President Trump used his executive powers to designate the very first national monument of his presidency: a 380-acre site in Nicholasville, Ky. honoring black soldiers and refugees during the Civil War called Camp Nelson.

Yes, you read that right. Donald Trump’s first national monument honors black soldiers of the Civil War.

“Today, the site is one of the best-preserved landscapes and archeological sites associated with United States Colored Troops recruitment and the refugee experiences of African American slaves seeking freedom during the Civil War,” reads the proclamation.

Camp Nelson began as a supply depot and hospital for the Union Army, and there, once the ban on black men serving in the Union Army was lifted, 10,000 former slaves enlisted.

Of course, the media completely buried the story while instead obsessing over the hypothetical use of executive powers by the Trump administration to end birthright citizenship for illegal immigrants. What’s more important? An imaginary executive order or an actual executive order that honors the great African-American men who fought to preserve the Union? Of course, it does very little to further the Left’s plotline of the scary “neo-Nazi Trump administration,” so instead, the media didn’t put a single glimmer of light on this story.

Kate Kelly, director of public lands for the far-left advocacy group Center for American Progress, questioned the timing: “Given this announcement comes mere days before a tight election in Kentucky, we must also question whether the historic site is being used as a political pawn.”

The Left continually disregards overt pro-minority actions from this administration in order to give credence to conspiratorial wink-wink, nod-nod signals that are supposedly being made to white supremacists.

But the president’s record is clear, and this is yet another example of something the media is intentionally ignoring because it is driven by the trumped-up “Trump is racist!” narrative.
