Evidence Grows Stronger For Vaccine Link to Heart Problems

A higher-than-usual number of cases of a type of heart inflammation has been reported following Covid-19 vaccination, especially among young men following their second dose of an mRNA vaccine, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday.

Overall, 226 cases of myocarditis or pericarditis after vaccination in people younger than age 30 have been confirmed, Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, deputy director of the CDC’s Immunization Safety Office, said during a presentation to a Food and Drug Administration advisory group. Further investigation is needed, however, to confirm whether the vaccination was the cause of the heart problem.

Teenagers and people in their early 20s accounted for more than half of the myocarditis cases reported to the CDC’s safety monitoring systems following Covid-19 vaccination, despite representing a fraction of people who have received the shots. . .

Following the presentation, Dr. Cody Meissner, chief of pediatric infectious diseases at the Tufts Children’s Hospital in Boston, said “it is hard to deny that there’s some event that seems to be occurring in terms of myocarditis.”

Myocarditis is condition that involves inflammation of the heart muscle. Symptoms can include fever and fatigue, as well as shortness of breath and a very specific type of chest pain. President Biden’s Most Secretive Tax Is Hiding in Plain Sight

In the first six months of the Biden presidency, rising inflation has squeezed businesses and families still reeling from the effects of the pandemic. That could spell trouble for Democrats.

As Americans return to normal life and spending habits, Republicans are sounding the alarm on rising prices, and laying blame squarely on what they see as President Biden’s spendthrift recovery agenda.

Prices increased 0.6% month over month, faster than the 0.4% jump that was anticipated by analysts surveyed by Refinitiv. . .

And Republicans have already set up a strategy to drive the inflation message home to voters for the 2022 midterms. Axios reported that Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), who leads the Republican Study Committee, wrote a memo on inflation to his GOP colleagues: “Of course, they’re trying to spin the media and explain that it has nothing to do with their big-spending policies. Which, we know, is simply false.”

Capitol Physician Lifts Mask Mandate

Vaccinated members of the House of Representatives will no longer be required to wear a face covering when on the House floor after the Capitol Attending Physician lifted the chamber’s mask mandate Friday afternoon.

“The guideline document reflects that fully vaccinated individuals may discontinue mask wear and 6-foot social distance separations in most situations consistent with the CDC revision regarding fully vaccinated individuals of May 13, 2021,” explained the new guidance that came almost a month after the federal government decreed masks and social distancing precautions were no longer necessary for vaccinated Americans.

Fox News’s Chad Pergram reported that the decision was made based on low community spread of the Wuhan coronavirus and a high rate of vaccination among those in the Capitol complex.

“I think he’s been all over the place on masks,” Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of medicine at Stanford, told Fox News host Laura Ingraham on her show, “The Ingham Angle” Saturday.

“There are emails you can find in the treasure trove of emails that have been released where he acknowledged the virus has been aerosolized,” he continued. . .

Sen. Lindsey Graham said he believes former President Donald Trump would have won the 2020 election if his favored Wuhan lab leak theory on the origins of COVID-19 had been proven before the November contest.

The South Carolina senator made the prediction as he joined a cadre of fellow Republicans blasting health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, and members of the media for once downplaying or outright dismissing the theory that in recent weeks has gotten a more serious look under the new administration.

“If Trump was right [about the lab leak theory], it would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election, I believe,” Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday. “And if we could have proven that early on in 2020 it was a lab leak coming from China, not occurring naturally, the public would want revenge against China, and who would they turn to: Biden or Trump?”

“If it were known in February that Trump was right [in] 2020, I think he’d be president today,” he reiterated later in the interview.

Study Shows Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc Treatments Significantly Increased COVID Survival Rate

A new study shows that the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine touted by former President Donald Trump increased the survival rate of severely ill coronavirus patients.

The observational study, published by medRxiv, found that antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine, along with zinc, could increase the coronavirus survival rate by as much as nearly 200% if distributed at higher doses to ventilated patients with a severe version of the illness.

“We found that when the cumulative doses of two drugs, HCQ and AZM, were above a certain level, patients had a survival rate 2.9 times the other patients,” the study’s conclusion states.

The study adds, “By using causal analysis and considering of weight-adjusted cumulative dose, we prove the combined therapy, >3 g HCQ and > 1g AZM greatly increases survival in Covid patients on IMV and that HCQ cumulative dose > 80 mg/kg works substantially better. These data do not yet apply to hospitalized patients not on IMV. Since those with higher doses of HCQ had higher doses of AZM, we cannot solely attribute the causal effect to HCQ/AZM combination therapy. However, it is likely AZM does contribute significantly to this increase in survival rate. State Offers Marijuana as ‘Prize’ for Getting COVID Vaccine

Just over half of Washington state adults (54 percent) have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine so far, according to recent health department figures. . .

Several states including California and Ohio have operated vaccine “lotteries” offering cash prizes or college scholarships to randomly selected vaccine recipients.

Other inducements have included free sports tickets, airline flights and beers, while an Arizona cannabis dispensary has already experimented with giving free products to those receiving jabs.

Secret U.S. Report From May 2020 Said COVID-19 Lab Leak Was Plausible

A classified report from a top US government laboratory on the origins of the coronavirus concluded in May 2020 that the theory stating the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China should be investigated further, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

The study from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a biodefense research facility primarily funded by the Department of Energy, was one of the first and most authoritative works to cut against the initial scientific consensus that the virus naturally jumped from animals to humans.

The study’s existence was first reported last month by Sinclair Broadcast Group. It was also referenced last week in a bombshell report by Vanity Fair. The latter publication reported that the analysis was uncovered in the fall of 2020 by an intelligence analyst working for the State Department and galvanized a dormant investigation into the origins of the virus by the Department’s Bureau of Arms Control, Verification, and Compliance.

Vanity Fair also reported that officials at the Department of Energy attempted to block State Department investigators from talking to the report’s authors. It’s Clear Now Anthony Fauci Isn’t A Fool, He’s A Villain

A trove of thousands of emails released as the result of a Freedom of Information Act request show that, since the beginning of COVID-19, Anthony Fauci has been just as mendacious as some of his worst critics have alleged. . .

It was clear from almost the beginning that Fauci was not just a benevolent science bureaucrat “trying to figure it out,” not just a bumbling idiot, but someone willing to put the entire nation through a punishing social and medical experiment, to gaslight the public time and time again to keep it going, and then bask in the sycophancy of Democratic Party lawmakers and the media while millions suffered needlessly. That’s the sort of thing we expect from the villains of political thrillers, not well-intentioned public servants who are just trying to “follow the science.”

Students 100 years from now might be forgiven for thinking Fauci was an invented boogeyman. Deceit is a classic character trait of fictional antagonists, and Fauci is, as one popular (now Twitter-banned) lockdown skeptic put it, a “one-man highlight reel of mendacity.”

Besides his lies about the well-supported lab origin theory for COVID, Fauci misled the public about asymptomatic spread being a major driver of the outbreak, as a Feb. 4, 2020 email revealed. He lied about masks working, as “the virus is small enough to pass through the material,” according to a Feb. 5, 2020 email.
