Despite (Or Because Of) Mass Vaccination, COVID-Related Cardiovascular Deaths Skyrocket

Heart disease remained among the leading causes of death, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which may have exacerbated preexisting CVD morbidity-related racial/ethnic disparities, researchers reported.

In 2020, more than 3.3 million deaths were registered in the U.S., which exceeded the 2019 figure by more than 500,000 deaths, according to the American Heart Association’s annual Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics update.

CVD-related deaths in the U.S. increased from 874,613 in 2019 to 928,741 in 2020, the highest single-year occurrence of CVD deaths since 2003, according to the AHA report.

“While the total number of CVD-related deaths increased from 2019 to 2020, what may be even more telling is that our age-adjusted mortality rate increased for the first time in many years and by a fairly substantial 4.6%,” Connie W. Tsao, MD, MPH, FAHA, assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, attending staff cardiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and volunteer chair of the statistical update writing group, said in a press release. DOD Awards New Seven-Figure Grant to Group That Funded Wuhan Lab Research

The Department of Defense (DOD) in December awarded a seven-figure grant to EcoHealth Alliance Inc., the nonprofit organization that funneled millions in taxpayer funds to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) for dangerous bat virus research.

The DOD awarded a grant of $3 million to EcoHealth beginning Dec. 12 for the purpose of combatting pandemic threats emanating from the Philippines, according to USASpending.gov. The grant was awarded as part of a DOD program aimed at countering weapons of mass destruction.

Specifically, the grant is meant for “reducing the threat of viral spillover from wildlife in the Philippines.” EcoHealth has defended much of its work as being essential to detecting and preventing future pandemics that may begin in the wild, although it is unclear what real-world benefits that work has had up to this point.

Over the course of roughly a decade, EcoHealth Alliance funneled millions of dollars in U.S. government grants to the WIV as it conducted gain-of-function (GoF) research on bat-based coronaviruses. EcoHealth founder Peter Daszak was initially part of the World Health Organization (WHO) team investigating the origins of COVID-19 in China, which critics panned as a blatant conflict of interest. Outrageous but Unsurprising: Judge Tosses Case Against Guards Who Killed a Woman for Not Wearing a Mask

Toronto hospital security guards killed a woman in March of 2020. For not pulling up a mask while suffering from breathing difficulties.

They were originally charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence, but a judge has tossed the case because … reasons.

There isn’t much dispute about what happened, although one of the guards involved intentionally turned a security camera away from the scene of the crime as it was happening, and another lied to police about what happened. He later was forced to admit to deceiving investigators when he was shown security footage contradicting his statement. . .

The case seems pretty cut and dried. Danielle Stephanie Warriner, who suffered from COPD came to the hospital due to, unsurprisingly, breathing problems. She was admitted to the hospital, and was sitting in a hallway wearing PPE. She had lowered her mask due to her breathing problems. Guards approached her to enforce a mask mandate. She didn’t comply, again presumably because she had trouble breathing.

The guards donned PPE, demanded she don the mask, and then threw her against the wall almost immediately. While claiming that she struck them first, the video shows that this wasn’t true. Vax Makes Stroke, Infection by COVID Subvariant, More Likely: Health Officials Warn, CDC Investigates

By New York Post. New York City health officials are warning residents that the infectious omicron subvariant XBB.1.5 may be more likely to infect people who have already been vaccinated or infected with COVID-19.

“Omicron subvariant XBB.1.5 now accounts for 73% of all sequenced COVID-19 cases in NYC,” the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene tweeted on Friday. ” XBB.1.5 is the most transmissible form of COVID-19 that we know of to date and may be more likely to infect people who have been vaccinated or already had COVID-19.” . . .

According to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, XBB.1.5 accounts for 43% of cases in the U.S.

In the first week of January, the subvariant accounted for about 30% of cases.

CDC investigating whether Pfizer COVID vaccine increases stroke risk for people over 65

By New York Post. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that a preliminary COVID-19 vaccine “safety signal” has been identified and is investigating whether the Bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine creates an increased risk of ischemic stroke in people 65 and older.

In the Friday statement, the CDC said that the preliminary signal hasn’t been identified with the Bivalent Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

“Following the availability and use of the updated (bivalent) COVID-19 vaccines, CDC’s Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD), a near real-time surveillance system, met the statistical criteria to prompt additional investigation into whether there was a safety concern for ischemic stroke in people ages 65 and older who received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent,” the CDC said.

“Rapid-response investigation of the signal in the VSD raised a question of whether people 65 and older who have received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent were more likely to have an ischemic stroke in the 21 days following vaccination compared with days 22-44 following vaccination.”

Chinese Turn to Street Cremations as Coronavirus Deaths Mount

The dishonest Chinese government claims fewer than two dozen people have died nationwide during the massive coronavirus outbreak sweeping the country, but the true number is believed to be in the thousands and could be heading into the millions.

Funeral parlors and crematoriums are overwhelmed by the dead, so some families are resorting to amateur cremations in the streets.

The New York Post (NYP) on Wednesday described unverified images circulating on social media of Chinese burning their loved ones in parking lots and roadside pyres as “horrifying”:

A woman in Shanghai explained her decision to cremate her own father on social media and dared the authorities to stop her.

“I’ve tried multiple paths to cremate my father but none have worked. The funeral services hotline told me that all cremation slots are full until after the new year. Since national law doesn’t allow patients who die of infectious diseases to be stored at home, I shall find an empty patch in our neighborhood to cremate my father. Democrat Accused of Ridiculing Those Concerned About Sexual Harassment in Her Office, Mocking COVID Victims

Democratic Rep. Katie Porter of California has been accused by a former staffer of denigrating people for “reporting sexual harassment” and of other demeaning remarks.

These claims come just days after text messages leaked indicating Porter may have fired a staffer over her COVID-19 diagnosis.

The Huffington Post noted in 2018 that Porter, endorsed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Vice President Kamala Harris, was previously in an abusive relationship and subjected to sexual harassment at home.

Despite Porter’s possible personal insights into the gravity of the issue, one of her former staffers, Sasha Georgiades, indicated that the Democratic congresswoman berated at least one other staffer who had reported sexual harassment in her office, reported Fox News Digital.

State Department Reportedly Flagged Twitter Accounts for Pushing Lab Leak Theory, Docs Show

The State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC) reportedly flagged Twitter accounts for promoting the lab leak theory of Covid origins, according to newly released documents.

The GEC wrote a February 2020 report titled “Russian Disinformation Apparatus Taking Advantage of Coronavirus Concerns,” with criteria such as blaming “research conducted at the Wuhan institute” for Covid, according to journalist Matt Taibbi’s “Twitter Files” reporting.

Other criteria reportedly used by the GEC to flag Twitter accounts included “describing the Coronavirus as an engineered bioweapon” and “attributing the appearance of the virus to the CIA,” Taibbi said. The GEC also flagged accounts that had retweeted news about Twitter banning the popular blog ZeroHedge after a report about lab leak speculation, Taibbi added. Celebration of a New Year Brings With It Yet Another Reminder From Bidens To Get Vaccinated

The Biden administration is just obsessed with badgering folks to get vaccinated against COVID-19, which now includes getting multiple boosters, and getting a booster when every year like the flu shot. Thus, any time a celebration or major event comes up, we can count on the administration, or President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden themselves to remind us they expect us to fall in line and get up to date.

As Breaking 911 highlighted on Sunday, part of the Biden’s message to Americans aired on ABC News had to do with the vaccine. In the name of telling people to “especially take care of your health this year,” the first lady implored people to “go get that COVID vaccine and get your flu shot.” The president, very much appearing as old as he is, chimed in to share something indecipherable.

Ryan Seacrest, the host of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” which airs on ABC, politely thanked the two for their message, but kept it telling them “thank you very much for being with us, Happy New Year.”

Twitter Suspended a Medical Doctor for Citing COVID Data. He Says There’s More to the Story

Internal documents show that Twitter’s Site Integrity team had determined that Dr. Andrew Bostom was inappropriately suspended from the platform after he cited self-reported data compiled by health officials. However, Bostom told the Daily Caller News Foundation that he received no communication from Twitter despite filing several appeals, and that he believes his five month suspension — his account was reinstated on Christmas — may have been politically motivated.

The retired Brown University academic’s account received five strikes for misinformation, prompting his suspension from the platform, but an audit by the integrity team determined that four of the strikes against account had been inappropriately applied, according to internal documents published by Free Press journalist David Zweig. Bostom said he had “absolutely no idea” why his account was banned, and that he hadn’t received any communication on the four appeals he filed challenging his suspension, even after Elon Musk acquired the social media platform.

“I appealed twice during the summer as this was going on … I was suspended simply for summarizing” data that had been published by the CDC or scientific journals, Bostom told the DCNF. He said his lawyer sent Twitter a “stern letter” regarding the suspension, and while it was briefly lifted, “two weeks later they suspended me again.”

One of Bostom’s tweets was flagged by both a bot and a human, Zweig reported, prompting Bostom to ask why a human was even looking at his account.

“I wish we could get an insight into what this so-called process was, I mean, who are these people?” Bostom asked. He later wondered, “the bot does its thing, but who told the human to intervene?”

The Media’s Startling Incuriosity About COVID-19’s Origin

Lately, it feels as if the COVID-19 pandemic happened to somebody else — that we were just spectators who watched it all unfold only to forget what we saw. And yet the devastation of pandemic policies remains with us . But the anger and frustration the public once expressed toward the pandemic and its accompanying restrictions seem to have vanished.

Even the media seem to have finally moved on. No longer do liberal commentators wax poetic about how many Sept. 11s the pandemic had equaled in terms of the death count. That comparison, of course, was always facile, but at least it signaled a desire to get to the bottom of things and hold those responsible to account.

The problem is our media were never really interested in accountability. They refused to entertain the possibility that COVID-19 might have leaked from a Wuhan lab since any suggestion of that nature evinced anti-Asian racism, and instead channeled their frustration toward a secondary target. The real culprit, as one New York Times opinion piece breathlessly intoned, was “decades of global environmental heedlessness” along with underfunded science, for which former President Donald Trump’s knuckle-dragging mob could doubtless be thanked. It was with Trump & Co. in mind that our fearless liberal news hosts seethingly recited the updated death toll each night.

But following an article in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists , published in May of 2021, that cast doubt over the natural origin theory and raised the possibility that the virus had escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the media’s palpable anger began to fade into something like quiet resignation. The growing possibility that COVID-19 was itself the fruit of scientific research in Chinese biolabs, which involved splicing together COVID strains in order to make them more infectious in humans (i.e., “gain of function” research), left the media suddenly uninterested in the blame game. And they’ve been allergic to the topic of COVID’s origins ever since.

Consider the strangeness of the media’s incuriosity regarding COVID’s origins. If COVID really were the equivalent of a thousand Sept. 11s, shouldn’t we at least attempt to understand what happened in order to prevent it from ever happening again?
