The specter of a highly visible gun control advocate caught attempting to supply machine guns and shoulder-fired rockets to (apparently) drug gangs may not rate coverage by CNN, but it has been irresistibly big news in the state of California.

Obviously, an excuse has to be created, and it hasn’t taken the corruptocrats in Sacramento very long. It was the lack of public campaign financing that did forced an idealistic crusader into something he would otherwise never have done. Jim Miller of the Sacramento Bee reports on the Democrats’ rationalization:

The 137-page FBI affidavit against Yee and more than 20 other defendants says the San Francisco Democrat’s focus on retiring a $70,000 campaign debt from his unsuccessful 2011 mayor’s race and raising money for his 2014 candidacy for secretary of state led him to accept bribes in return for official favors and arrange overseas weapons deals. Former Employee: ACORN Still Alive and Well

Former ACORN employee and whistleblower Anita Moncrief said ACORN is far from dead and is still “colluding” and “working with” the President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice.

Moncrief appeared with Conservative commentator David Webb in a one-hour special about the “District of Corruption” movie on FOX News’ “Hannity.” She specifically discussed how community organizing groups on the left put pressure on institutions like banks to get them to relent to their “equal outcomes” agenda.

Moncrief said ACORN would help people report food stamps and other “under-the-table” incomes as income to get subprime mortgages that eventually caused the housing market to collapse.

“ACORN’s agenda is Obama’s agenda,” Moncrief said. “It has not gone away.”

She said people would come to work at ACORN idealistic but there was a top-down culture of corruption that encouraged employees to look the other way “for the greater good.”

‘Two and a Half Men’ Star Says Show Is ‘Filth,’ Urges People Not to Watch in YouTube Vid About His Faith

The teenage actor who plays the “half” in the hit CBS comedy “Two and a Half Men” says the show is “filth” and, through a video posted by a Christian church, has urged viewers not to watch it.

Nineteen-year-old Angus T. Jones has been on the show since he was 10 but says he no longer wants to be on it . . .

“Two and a Half Men– if you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching [it]…I’m on Two and a Half Men; I don’t want to be on it. Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.

Please– it’s, you know, people say it’s just ‘entertainment.’ The fact that it’s entertainment– do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make…it’s bad news.”

Fox News’ ‘Hannity’ to Air One-Hour ‘District of Corruption’ Special on Thanksgiving

Fox News’ “Hannity” on Thursday at 9 p.m. eastern will air a one-hour special about the “District of Corruption” movie and the permanent political class and crony capitalism on both sides of the aisle the film exposes and indicts.

The film, “District of Corruption,” directed by Stephen K. Bannon and produced by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton and Victory Film Group, traces the roots of the modern disenchantment with the political system back to the Clinton administration, which shamelessly commercialized government. This continued under George W. Bush’s administration. And the Obama administration has put crony capitalism on steroids.

The Thanksgiving evening special on “Hannity” will have panelists discussing some of the Obama administration’s biggest scandals, such as Fast and Furious, green boondoggles like Solyndra, the politicization of the Department of Justice not limited to voter intimidation cases, and bailouts to Wall Street cronies.
