Michelle Obama Plays Race Card In Speech At DNC

Former First Lady Michelle Obama took a controversial turn in her speech at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday night, accusing former President Donald Trump of racism in his opposition to her and her husband, former President Barack Obama.

In her address, Obama suggested that Trump’s antagonism towards the Obama administration was rooted in racial prejudice, asserting that Trump’s worldview was threatened by the success of a highly-educated, black couple. This speech marks a significant departure from her 2016 message of maintaining dignity and rising above negativity, famously captured in her mantra, “When they go low, we go high.”

During her speech, Obama alleged, “For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us. His limited, narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of two hard-working, highly-educated, successful people who happen to be black.”

The speech was met with applause from the Democratic audience, but it has stirred controversy, particularly regarding its implications about Trump’s motives and statements.

One point of contention is Obama’s critique of Trump’s use of the term “black jobs.” In her remarks, she questioned if Trump might see the job he seeks as one of those “black jobs,” which some interpreted as a veiled accusation of racism. Trump’s use of the term, however, was related to job market dynamics and competition rather than a racially motivated slur.

Activist Slams VP Harris, Dems for Allegedly Lying to Supporters Because ‘They Need Votes’

Communist protesters outside the Democratic National Convention in Chicago slammed Democrats’ message of “unity” this week, saying it’s a narrative commonly revived by party leaders when they “need votes.”

“They ask for unity when they need votes. But when you’re struggling, when you can’t pay rent, you know, it’s hard to afford groceries, then there’s no unity. Then you’re on your own. Then they’re all just like, ‘It’s your fault. You don’t make enough money, you’re just poor and dumb or whatever.’ Then there’s no talk of unity,” a co-founder of the Revolutionary Communists of America told Fox News Digital in an interview outside the United Center.

“And then when they need votes and just get rich off their career in politics, then there’s unity. So, completely false, completely deceptive. Our task is to kind of expose that to everyone,” he continued.

Thousands of protesters descended on Chicago this week to rail against the Biden administration’s handling of the war in the Middle East and its support of Israel after Hamas’ attack on the nation last year. Protesters ranging from socialist, feminist, communist and environmental groups gathered at Union Park on Monday morning, which is located just blocks from the DNC’s campus, before marching in the city.

The DNC kicks off in earnest Monday evening, when it will spotlight high-level Democrats in speeches, including President Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and New York Rep. Democrats Shove Biden Out of DNC Primetime for Last Gasp of Presidency

President Joe Biden took the Democratic National Convention stage well past his scheduled primetime slot to cap off a night meant to honor his legacy.

The DNC ran considerably behind schedule, leading the president to be booted from his primetime speaking slot to appear close to midnight on the east coast. The first night of the convention was full of speakers who dedicated their speeches to Biden’s four years in office, his decision to pick Vice President Kamala Harris as his running mate and his choice to end his 2024 reelection bid. An emotional Biden himself made a nod to the theme throughout his speech, praising Harris as he was repeatedly interrupted by “thank you, Joe” chants.

“It’s been the honor of my lifetime to serve as your president. I love the job, but I love my country more. All this talk about how I’m angry at all the people who said I should step down — it’s not true. I love my country more, and we need to preserve our democracy in 2024. We need you to vote. We need you to keep the Senate and the House of Representatives. And above all, we need you to beat Donald Trump,” Biden said before wrapping his speech up after midnight. It lasted nearly an hour.

As the speakers leading up to Biden on the schedule began dragging on and on, speculation swirled about how and why the president had been shoved aside to speak when many Americans would already be asleep.

Planned Parenthood to Offer Free Vasectomies, Abortions During DNC

By Breitbart. A Planned Parenthood clinic will be offering people free vasectomies and abortions during the Democratic National Convention (DNC), which is set to be held next week in Chicago.

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers (PPGR), the Chicago Abortion Fund, and The Wieners Circle will be “providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion” at Planned Parenthood Great Rivers’ mobile health clinic, PPGR announced in a post on X.

According to the New York Times, the mobile health clinic will be set up “blocks away” from the DNC.

PPGR, which is part of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, is described as being “the leading provider, educator, and protector of sexual and reproductive health care in the St. Louis region, Missouri Ozarks, and beyond,” according to the website for Planned Parenthood Great Rivers.

“Here we come, Chicago! Our mobile health clinic will be in the West Loop with @ChiAbortionFund & @TheWienerCircle Aug 19-20, providing FREE vasectomies & medication abortion. EC will also be available for free without an appointment.”

Pro-Choice Protesters Offered Me Free Plan B Within 5 Minutes Before the DNC

Although the Democratic National Convention does not begin until Monday, a mishmash of various left-wing interest groups had already amassed in downtown Chicago by Sunday afternoon. Bodies Outside of Unjust Laws successfully sued the city after initially being denied a permit to, in the group’s own words, “crash the party” to coronate Vice President Kamala Harris as the party’s 2024 nominee. Flanked by protection not just from the Chicago Police Department but also the Department of Justice, the first March on the DNC featured keffiyeh-clad activists calling for the taxpayer funding of abortion until the point of birth and support for Palestine, a territory where abortion is banned at any and all points of pregnancy.

Within five minutes of approaching protest volunteers from the Hydra Fund, this reporter was offered a complimentary dose of Plan B. While emergency contraception does not terminate a fertilized pregnancy, the Hydra Fund’s main goal is to fund actual abortions for expectant mothers in Michigan. Though the crucial swing state’s constitution codified abortion access up until the point of birth after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the protesters congregating across the DuSable Bridge argue the Democratic governments haven’t gone far enough.

“We have to treat abortion as a health issue, and therefore people who are medical people should be able to do that,” said Dianne Feeley, a Michigan activist lobbying to overturn a restriction that currently says only physicians can administer abortions. “You know, licensed physician assistants, a whole range of people, and then with medication abortion, with information over the internet, you can perform the abortion safely yourself.” (Read more from “Pro-Choice Protesters Offered Me Free Plan B Within 5 Minutes Before the DNC” HERE)

Anti-Israel Protests Outside Chicago DNC Threaten to Tarnish Kamala Harris Coronation

Tens of thousands of protesters are expected to march outside the Democratic National Convention in the Windy City in opposition to the Biden-Harris administration’s support for Israel — threatening to tarnish Vice President Kamala Harris’ weeklong presidential nomination fest.

A coalition of mostly left-wing and Arab- and Muslim-American groups are planning two protest marches — the first and largest on Monday at noon ahead of retiring President Biden’s evening appearance and again on Thursday at 5 p.m. ahead of Harris’ acceptance speech.

“The Democratic Party is the target and not Joe Biden as an individual or Kamala Harris as an individual … She’s just as complicit as Biden is,” said Hatem Abudayyeh, the executive director of the Arab American Action Network who cited her opposition to an arms embargo on Israel as evidence that her attempt to seem more “empathetic” rings hollow.

“If Kamala Harris loses to [former President Donald] Trump, then they have nobody to blame but themselves. This is the Vietnam War of our generation,” he said. . .

Massive attendance had been expected at protests when Biden, 81, was the party’s presumptive nominee — but his decision to retire on July 21 and endorse Harris, 59, has cast some uncertainty over the scale of protests, though organizers say they still expect tens of thousands of participants. DNC Sent Millions To Law Firms Behind ‘Unprecedented Lawfare’ Campaign Against Trump

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) has sent millions of dollars to law firms that are intimately involved in an “unprecedented lawfare” campaign against former President Donald Trump, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records reviewed by the Daily Caller.

The DNC has paid close to $2 million since August of 2021 to Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP for “legal services,” according to the DNC’s FEC filings. Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP founding partner Roberta A. Kaplan represented E. Jean Carroll in her sexual assault and defamation suits against Trump. The New York Times previously reported that Reid Hoffman, the billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn, helped pay for Carroll’s lawsuits.

The DNC did not pay the firm for any services from its founding in 2017 until August of 2021. Carroll initiated her first lawsuit against Trump in 2019.

The firm states that it was founded to “build a law firm for the future rooted in principles of equity, integrity, and justice.” Partner Joshua Matz served as counsel for the House Judiciary Committee during the first Trump impeachment trial. He was invited back to serve on the second impeachment trial, according to the firm’s website. The firm also touts “representing former U.S. District Court Judge John Gleeson as a court-appointed amicus in United States of America v. Michael T. DNC Prepares for Violent Pro-Hamas Protests

The Democratic Party is bracing for massive protests during the Democratic National Convention, comparing it to another chaotic event from the 1968 convention.

As pro-Hamas protests continue to rage through college campuses due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, concerns that similar protests will occur during the DNC convention this August in Chicago.

Former President Barack Obama’s chief of staff William Daley told the Washington Post that the chaotic college protests that have occurred in the past week have “taken the demonstrations to a different level.”

“It portends that you have the potential for big demonstrations. Whether they get violent — that’s more imaginable today than it was a year ago,” he said.

FBI Still has not Complied with Court’s November Order to Release Seth Rich’s Records; Now Asks Court to Reconsider

On Thursday, the FBI asked Obama-appointed US District Judge Amos Mazzant to reconsider their request not to produce [Seth Rich’s records alleging they] should be withheld under exemptions under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The filing was a response to Mazzant’s Nov. 2023 order to hand over images of Mr. Rich’s personal computer, as well as an index of his work computer.

It gets better; the FBI initially claimed that they didn’t have said records – only to later admit to being in possession of Rich’s personal and work computers, along with other items. . .

[The attorney demanding disclosure of Seth Rich’s files wrote,] “A presidential election is fast approaching, and voters have the right to know (1) whether the FBI knowingly framed one of the frontrunners, i.e., former President Trump; and (2) whether the FBI is still trying to cover up its partisan political activities. . . . It is bad enough that FBI personnel took opposition research from the Hillary Clinton campaign and used it to open a bad-faith investigation of Mr. Trump, thereby sabotaging him for more than two years,” Clevenger added. “It would be considerably worse and considerably more scandalous, however, if FBI personnel knew all along that Seth Rich—not Russian hackers—was responsible for leaking DNC emails to Wikileaks.”

Many believe that Rich was indeed the source of the leaked DNC emails provided to WikiLeaks – a rumor which was fueled by the odd circumstances surrounding his death, the sudden retirement of D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier five weeks after the murder, and an email John Podesta sent to Hillary’s inner circle about ‘making an example’ of a suspected leaker, written more than a year before Rich’s death.

Palestinian Mob Targets DNC Headquarters, Leaving Six Capitol Police Officers Injured

Democrats and other leftists have been shouting “insurrection” ever since the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol where a few hundred people moved beyond protest to breaking windows and doors and vandalizing the halls of Congress. . .

Obviously for a similar law enforcement agenda against leftists, a “Palestinian mob,” whose members “descended on DNC headquarters” this week in Washington, leaving six Capitol police officers injured.

Police said:

Last night approximately 200 people gathered in front of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters to protest the conflict in the Middle East.

We have handled hundreds of peaceful protests, but last night’s group was not peaceful. The crowd failed to obey our lawful orders to move back from the DNC, where Members of Congress were in the building.

When the group moved dumpsters in front of the exits, pepper sprayed our officers and attempted to pick up the bike rack, our teams quickly introduced consequences – pulling people off the building, pushing them back, and clearing them from the area, so we could safely evacuate the Members and staff.

Six officers were treated for injuries, from minor cuts to being pepper sprayed to being punched.

24-year old Ruben Arthur Camacho of Woodbridge, NY, was arrested for Assault on a Police Officer after an officer witnessed Camacho slam another officer into a garage door and then punch the female officer in the face.

Last night our team was quick, decisive, courageous and in control.

When demonstrations cross the line into illegal activity it is our responsibility to maintain order and ensure people’s safety.
