Donald Trump Pledges to Return Jailed Pro-Lifers to Their Families if Elected

Former President Donald Trump said he would work to free pro-life activists prosecuted and imprisoned by the pro-abortion Biden administration, should he be elected, Catholic News Agency (CNA) reported on Tuesday.

During a June 22 speech to the Faith and Freedom Coalition, Trump specifically mentioned the case of 75-year-old Paulette Harlow, who was sentenced to 24 months in prison for violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and for “conspiracy against rights” in a 2020 protest at a D.C. abortion clinic infamous for late-term abortions.

“Paulette is one of many peaceful pro-lifers who Joe Biden has rounded up, sometimes with SWAT teams, and thrown them in jail,” Trump said. “Many people are in jail over this. … We’re going to get that taken care of immediately — [on the] first day.”

Harlow, unlike her co-defendants — who sat in jail for months awaiting sentencing — had been on house arrest due to her ill health before being sentenced, according to Live Action News. Harlow’s defense attorney, Allen Orenberg, reportedly said in a statement that Harlow’s health has been rapidly declining and that prison could be detrimental to her condition.

WATCH: CNN Host Gets Schooled on What Voters Really Think of Trump

The political “pundits” just don’t get it when it comes to what American voters really think about former Donald Trump.

That according to pollster Frank Luntz, who told CNN host Kate Bolduan on Tuesday that many of the so-called experts have been mistaken about the Republican.

As an example, Luntz discussed the 2016 presidential debate between Trump and Hillary Clinton, as Trump suggested the Democratic nominee would “be in jail” if he were president.

Bolduan played a clip of the debate, and Luntz indicated that while “pundits really condemned him,” voters actually were thrilled by the remark. . .

“And the pundits really condemned him [for] doing it. And our voters said, ‘Wait a minute. He’s holding her accountable. It’s about time that politicians are held accountable.’ That’s one of the great frustrations in America. That’s why we’re so angry because when you think politicians will say and do anything, and then actually do exactly the opposite of what they promise.” (Read more from “WATCH: CNN Host Gets Schooled on What Voters Really Think of Trump” HERE)

There’s No Way to Read This Other Than Biden is Losing the Election Right Now

From swing state surveys to who’s better at handling the critical issues in the 2024 election, it’s Donald Trump’s election to lose. After three years of economic misery, chaos abroad, and a rapidly deteriorating president, Americans are looking for change. Biden never had the chops to be president, only squeaking by, thanks to unilateral changes made by Democratic secretaries of states—moves that the courts retroactively ruled to be illegal, but it was too late.

CNN elections analyst Harry Enten analyzed the top issues heading into Thursday’s debate, where Trump has the high ground. On the economy and inflation, voters trust Trump over Biden by double-digits: 13 and 18 points more, respectively. The only area where Biden has the edge is on the state of democracy, though it’s only by seven points. Will it matter? We don’t know since this question has never been asked before—2024 is the first time:

CNN Silences Trump Campaign’s Karoline Leavitt: The Truth is ‘Triggering’

In a startling display of media bias, CNN abruptly cut off Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt’s microphone mid-interview on Monday. Leavitt’s crime? Daring to highlight CNN anchor Jake Tapper’s history of anti-Trump rhetoric ahead of Thursday’s presidential debate, which Tapper is set to co-host.

During a pre-debate interview on CNN, Karoline Leavitt made a brief reference to Jake Tapper’s extensive history of criticizing Trump. This point was particularly relevant as Tapper is one of the moderators for the upcoming debate. However, CNN’s Kasie Hunt, unable to tolerate the mention, abruptly cut Leavitt’s microphone, effectively silencing her.

Following the incident, Leavitt expressed her disbelief and frustration. “CNN cutting off my microphone for bringing up a debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies just proves our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly in Thursday’s debate,” she stated.

Speaking to Benny Johnson immediately after being cut off, she remarked, “I still can’t believe this happened. It is really shocking just how triggering the truth is to CNN.” She explained that her intention was merely to point out Trump’s boldness in agreeing to participate in a debate on a network that has shown clear hostility towards him.

“That’s all I was doing was pointing out the fact that President Trump is bold to go on a three on one fight on a network that is clearly hostile to him,” she said. Leavitt further criticized CNN, stating, “Let’s stop pretending like CNN is still the most trusted name in news. They are not, and I pointed out statements that Jake Tapper himself has made in the past.”

Kasie Hunt defended her actions by claiming that Leavitt showed disrespect to her colleague, Jake Tapper. “You come on my show, you respect my colleagues. Period,” Hunt stated.

This incident is more than just a technical glitch or a minor spat. It highlights a significant issue in the media landscape: the blatant bias against conservative voices and, specifically, against Donald Trump. “You cut off my microphone for bringing up the debate moderator’s history of anti-Trump lies. This proved our point that President Trump will not be treated fairly on Thursday,” Leavitt asserted.

Former Fundraiser for Obama Leaves Democrat Party, Supports Trump

A former fundraiser who helped raise millions of dollars for former President Barack Obama spoke about her “divorce” from the Democrat Party and how she is supporting former President Donald Trump.

During an interview on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime, Allison Huynh explained that several issues had occurred leading up to her leaving the party.

Huynh created Willow Garage, a robotics company in 2006 with her ex-husband, Scott Hassan, who worked as a programmer for Google. Huynh and Hassan hosted dinners that cost roughly $50,000 to $100,000 a plate per person, according to the New York Post.

“Like any divorce, there’s not just one thing, there’s a series of things that led up to it,” Huynh explained during her interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters. . .

“The Democrats were policing the wrong things,” Huynh added. “The things that we need to police are violent criminals that are scattered throughout the streets of San Francisco, people defecating, shooting up heroin in front of me and my kids, and allowing criminals to go in and steal from our grocery stores, shutting down grocery stores.” (Read more from “Former Fundraiser for Obama Leaves Democrat Party, Supports Trump” HERE)

‘That’s Sweet. They’re Illegal Aliens’: Heritage Foundation President Spars With MSNBC Hosts Over Illegal Immigration

Dr. Kevin Roberts, the president of the Heritage Foundation, sparred with MSNBC hosts Saturday over issues related to a second Trump term and illegal migrants.

“The Weekend” co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend pressed Roberts over the Heritage Foundation’s perceived plan to start “institutionalizing Trumpism” as proposed in Project 2025, a series of conservative policy proposals for the administration of the federal government. Roberts denied the former Biden-Harris senior advisor’s claim that the plan was “cooked up specifically for the second coming of the Trump administration,” stating they “couldn’t do that” because the Heritage Foundation is “not partisan.” Roberts said he “would have been thrilled” if President Joe Biden “asked for a briefing.”

Roberts was then asked about “using the National Guard” to conduct deportations.

“First of all, we need to close the border,” before calling for “the biggest mass deportation system ever in the history of America because it is unjust and illegal and evil that more than 10 million illegal aliens have come to this country.” Roberts responded.

Trump and Biden Face Off in First U.S. Presidential Debate of 2024

This week, the political arena heats up as President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump engage in their first presidential debate for the 2024 election. This highly anticipated event could prove to be a pivotal moment in the race, with millions of potential voters tuning in.

The debate marks the beginning of what promises to be a contentious and intense campaign season. The United States remains deeply polarized, still reeling from the chaos and violence surrounding the 2020 election. With only two debates scheduled this cycle, Thursday’s clash takes on added significance. National polls indicate a tight race, and both candidates have escalated their personal attacks in preparation.

“The debate is important because it’s an opportunity for two well-known candidates to ‘reintroduce’ themselves to a public that knows them well but hasn’t been paying attention,” said Donald Nieman, a political analyst and history professor at Binghamton University in New York state. The key question remains how many voters, beyond the politically engaged, will tune in this early in the campaign.

For Trump, the 90-minute debate is a chance to emphasize concerns about Biden’s mental alertness, given the president’s age of 81. However, Trump himself, at 78, has faced similar age-related scrutiny. For Biden, the debate offers an opportunity to highlight Trump’s legal troubles and portray him as unfit for office. Biden must also avoid any major gaffes, which could be detrimental as November approaches.

This debate follows a criminal trial that has dominated Trump’s focus for months, with sentencing for 34 convictions of falsifying business records set for July 11. Both candidates bypassed the bipartisan commission that has managed debates since 1988, opting instead for CNN to host the early-year debate, with a second debate on ABC scheduled for September 10.

Key issues expected to dominate the debate include abortion, the state of U.S. democracy, foreign conflicts, inflation, and border security. The previous debates between Biden and Trump in 2020 were notably contentious, with memorable moments such as Biden’s exasperated “will you shut up, man?” directed at Trump. This time, moderators will have more control, with microphones muted except for the candidate speaking.

As the candidates prepare for this high-stakes encounter, the nation watches, aware that this debate could significantly influence the trajectory of the 2024 presidential election.

Trump Leads Biden by Double Digits in Latest National Poll

Former President Donald Trump has surged ahead of President Joe Biden by double digits in a national matchup, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey released on Friday. This development marks a significant lead for Trump as the 2024 presidential race heats up.

The Rasmussen Reports survey shows Trump commanding 46 percent support in a matchup that includes third-party candidates, while Biden trails with 36 percent. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. garners nine percent, followed by independent candidate Cornel West with two percent, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein with one percent.

In a direct head-to-head comparison, Trump extends his lead over Biden to nine points, with 49 percent of likely voters favoring Trump against 40 percent for Biden.

Conducted on June 20 among 1,000 likely voters, the survey has a margin of error of ± three percent. The results indicate a growing discontent with the current administration, as reflected in several concurrent surveys.

Notably, a May Rasmussen Reports survey revealed that a majority of Democrats, 54 percent, would prefer to see Biden replaced by another candidate for their party. Additionally, another Rasmussen survey found that 57 percent of voters believe Biden is experiencing real mental decline. This perception has been exacerbated by viral videos purportedly showcasing Biden’s cognitive challenges, which the White House has dismissed as misleading.

In response to these allegations, Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung told Breitbart News, “The truth hurts. When the Biden campaign is confronted with that cold, hard reality, they offer ridiculous claims that anyone who clearly sees Biden acting like a brain-dead dope is part of some media-wide conspiracy.” He further criticized the Biden campaign’s strategy, attributing it to “junior staffers and interns” managing the campaign for a candidate who “can barely walk and talk at the same time.”

CNN: Trump Could Pick Kermit the Frog as VP, Republicans Will Still Vote for Him

CNN commentator Van Jones said Thursday on CNN’s “Situation Room” that former President Donald Trump could pick Kermit the Frog as his running mate and that Republicans would still vote for him.

Host Wolf Blitzer said, “What do you make of the fact that almost all of these Trump potential vice presidential finalists have previously been very, very critical of Trump?”

Jones said, “Well, I mean, pretty much every human being on earth has been critical of Trump because Trump does stuff that demands criticism. He gets indicted, he gets impeached, he insults people, he’s awful. If you had a child like that, you would you be very, very concerned. You certainly wouldn’t hire someone like that. So there is very few people whose last name or not Trump that have not criticized him. So he’s got to swim in those waters.” (Read more from “CNN: Trump Could Pick Kermit the Frog as VP, Republicans Will Still Vote for Him” HERE)

Former FBI Official Says Dems Are Targeting Federal Judge Because ‘Deck Isn’t Stacked’ Against Trump In Her Courtroom

A former FBI official said that United States District Judge Aileen Cannon of the Southern District of Florida was being targeted by liberals for removal because the “deck isn’t stacked” against former President Donald Trump in her courtroom.

The United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit announced it would not accept complaints about Cannon’s handling of the classified material case involving Trump in a May 22 order, saying the over 1,000 complaints it had received were part of an “orchestrated campaign.” Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker said on “Mornings with Maria” that Cannon was targeted because she was trying to be fair to Trump on the day Cannon held a hearing to hear a challenge to the constitutionality of the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith.

“I say these people don’t know what to do when the deck isn’t stacked in their favor,” Swecker told “Mornings with Maria” host Maria Bartiromo. “There have been 1,000 complaints against the judge, but as the chief circuit court judge for the 11th circuit pointed out, there was an orchestrated campaign against her.” (Read more from “Former FBI Official Says Dems Are Targeting Federal Judge Because ‘Deck Isn’t Stacked’ Against Trump In Her Courtroom” HERE)
