Even Die-Hard Liberals Admit Trump Is the Country’s Only Chance at Returning to Normalcy

Left-wing New York Times is admitting that former President Trump will bring normalcy back to the United States after President Joe Biden failed to “put things back in order.”

Pollster and NYT columnist Kristen Soltis Anderson acknowledged that Trump’s chances of taking back the White House in 2024 stand a strong possibility as Americans become increasingly frustrated with Biden’s lack of leadership.

“The 2024 election will not be fought along the conventional axis of left and right or even change and more of the same,” Anderson wrote. “Voters very much want change; they have made that clear with the absolutely abominable ratings they give our leadership in poll after poll.”

Anderson admitted that Biden did not deliver his promises while campaigning against Trump in 2020. And after three years of his reckless policies that caused soaring inflation, millions of illegal aliens to enter the U.S., and a botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left Americans dead, voters are in desperate need of fresh blood in the White House.

Another State Says Trump Ineligible to Appear on Ballot

Maine’s Democrat Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows, on Thursday determined that former President Donald Trump is ineligible to appear on the state’s ballot, but the decision will not be carried out until the U.S. Supreme Court weighs in on the controversial state rulings, which continue to pile up.

Like the left-leaning justices in Colorado, Bellows said Trump is disqualified based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment, or the Insurrection Clause.

In the ruling, Bellows wrote that she held a hearing on December 15 on three challenges to Trump’s nomination. The first two, she said, “contest Mr. Trump’s qualification for office under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

“The third challenge, filed by Paul Gordon (the ‘Gordon Challenge’), contests Mr. Trump’s qualification under the Twenty-Second Amendment,” the ruling reads.

“For the reasons set forth below, I conclude that Mr. Trump’s primary petition is invalid,” she wrote.

Swing State’s Supreme Court Rejects Bid to Kick Trump off Primary Ballot

The Michigan Supreme Court refused a liberal group’s effort to remove Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential primary ballot on Wednesday, roughly a week after Colorado’s high court ruled against the former president in a similar case.

A brief order said the Michigan justices “are not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court,” rejecting the challenge from Free Speech For The People that seeks to disqualify Trump based on the view that he engaged in an insurrection on January 6, 2021.

The application sought to challenge the Michigan Court of Appeals decision that left the issue of primary ballot access up to the Republican Party but declined to rule on whether Trump is qualified to be on the general election ballot because he has not won the GOP nomination.

One of the Michigan Supreme Court justices, Elizabeth Welch, wrote in an opinion that the lower-court ruling “still allows appellants to renew their legal efforts as to the Michigan general election later in 2024 should Trump become the Republican nominee for President of the United States or seek such office as an independent candidate.” (Read more from “Swing State’s Supreme Court Rejects Bid to Kick Trump off Primary Ballot” HERE)

David Axelrod Makes Bold Prediction About Future of Ramaswamy Campaign

We are just under three weeks away from the Iowa Republican caucus, the first nominating contest in the country. Former and potentially future President Donald Trump has a historic lead in the polls, though he’s still facing four other candidates. The latest move from Vivek Ramaswamy has some, including Democratic strategist David Axelrod, wondering if he’ll even make it to Iowa, or will instead drop out to endorse Trump. . .

NBC notes that Ramaswamy was spending more than $200,000 in the first full week of December, but spent $6,000 on ads, all on TV, citing figures from AdImpact. The report also began by mentioning that Ramaswamy “does not have any TV ad reservations booked.”

According to Tricia McLaughlin, who serves as the campaign press secretary, the campaign is still spending on ads, but not on TV. As she explained it, they’re looking to best reach voters they’ve identified, with McLaughlin also noting the move is intentional:

Ramaswamy’s campaign says it is still spending money on ads, just not on TV.

“We are focused on bringing out the voters we’ve identified — best way to reach them is using addressable advertising, mail, text, live calls and doors to communicate with our voters on Vivek’s vision for America, making their plan to caucus and turning them out,” Tricia McLaughlin, the campaign’s press secretary told NBC News.

Former President Donald Trump posted a fiery message wishing people a Merry Christmas while blasting “THUGS” within the U.S., declaring, “MAY THEY ROT IN HELL.”

“Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden’s ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against ‘TRUMP’ and ‘MAGA,'” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and ‘sick’ as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA. CNN Claims Trump Utilizes ‘Threat of Violence’ for Support

In a recent appearance on “News Central,” CNN national security analyst Juliette Kayyem alleged former President Donald Trump is employing the “threat of violence” as a strategic tool to galvanize support from his followers.

Kayyem remarked, “It’s about to be 2024. We are running into an election period in which violence and the threat of violence are sort of viewed as an extension of our normal democratic differences. This is one of the successes of what Donald Trump has been able to do, is to sort of be kind of casual about violence.”

She falsely claimed that Trump, potentially the lead candidate for the GOP nomination, is openly utilizing language and threats of violence to rally his supporters. The CNN analyst further claimed:

“There’s two things. I don’t know how to say it louder, just like everyone needs to brace for this year, 2024 is going to be a year in which elections and the threat of violence overhangs this election for two reasons. One is Trump is not hiding it. I don’t need to pretend both sides here. Potentially, the lead candidate for the GOP, who’s going to get the nomination, is utilizing language and violence in the threat of violence as a way to rally his people to get support, and his party is sort of ignoring it. They’re not condemning it. I think that, then, creates an atmosphere in which violence becomes more permissive.”

Trump Asks Federal Appeals Court To Dismiss 2020 Election Case

Donald Trump asked a federal appeals court late on Saturday to dismiss special counsel Jack Smith‘s case accusing the former president of unlawfully plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Trump has “absolute immunity from prosecution for his official acts” as president, including him seeking to “advocate for and defend the integrity of the federal election, in accord with his view that it was tainted by fraud and irregularity,” Trump’s lawyers argued in a 71-page filing.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, previously rebuffed Trump’s immunity claim, saying the defendant’s “four-year service as Commander in Chief did not bestow on him the divine right of kings to evade the criminal accountability that governs his fellow citizens.” The judge also rejected Trump’s First Amendment defense.

Trump’s legal team filed an appeal on the immunity claim. They also requested a pause in the proceedings, which was then granted. Smith’s team responded by asking the appeals court to consider the immunity claim on an expedited basis. The appellate court accepted the request and oral arguments are scheduled for January 9. Latest Presidential Polls: Trump Posts His Largest Lead in GOP Primary, Consistently Tops Biden in General Election

Former President Donald Trump has hit his largest GOP primary polling lead in the Real Clear Politics average of national polls as he also enjoys a consistent lead over President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2024 general election matchup.

Trump is polling at a dominant 63.8% in RCP’s average of national Republican primary polls as of Friday morning. The former president holds a 52-point lead over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (11.6%), who has dropped nearly three points since last month and is now neck-and-neck with former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley (10.8%).

The Republican candidates are just weeks away from their first true test in the Iowa caucuses on January 15 and then the first-in-the-nation primary in New Hampshire on January 23. Trump’s polling lead in Iowa stands at 32 points as he pulls 51.3% support to DeSantis’ 18.6% and Haley’s 16.1%. In New Hampshire, Trump has a less comfortable lead, sitting at 46.3% while Haley comes in second at 24.8%.

The latest polls of Iowa and New Hampshire showed Haley on an upward trajectory. In Iowa, the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. was tied with DeSantis for second place at 17% in the latest InsiderAdvantage poll, while she led DeSantis 17% to 15% in an Emerson survey conducted last weekend. The most recent Fox Business poll of Iowa showed DeSantis leading Haley 18% to 16% while Trump remained the dominant leader at 52%. Democrats Privately Admit the Inevitable After Colorado Bars Trump From Ballot: ‘Attempting Election Interference’

Democrats are privately upset with the Colorado Supreme Court because they believe the ruling that bars Donald Trump from the Colorado ballot will ultimately help the former president.

The message of President Joe Biden’s campaign is clear: Trump is an existential threat to American democracy. But officials in the Biden administration and Biden campaign fear the Colorado Supreme Court has undercut that narrative.

NBC News, citing sources, reported that officials in both the White House and Biden campaign are “pissed” with the Colorado Supreme Court because the ruling makes it look “like Colorado is attempting election interference through non-elected Democratic-appointed justices with funding from ‘shady left-wing donors.'”

In fact, Democratic officials are so worried about the political ramifications of the ruling that they hope Supreme Court justices unanimously rule in Trump’s favor if and when they hear an appeal of the Colorado decision.

“We all hope Biden wakes up on Christmas morning to an A3 story in the Delaware News Journal saying that the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in favor of Trump,” a Democratic source told NBC News. Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign Likens Trump to Hitler

President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign accused former President Donald Trump of “parroting” Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, likening statements of the two in a highly inflammatory social media post Wednesday featuring images of both side by side.

The official Biden-Harris rapid response X (formerly Twitter) account posted the graphic, which compares statements of Hitler with Trump’s, along with the caption “Trump parrots Hitler.” . . .

The previous day, Biden claimed the rhetoric Trump uses “reminds us of the language coming out of Germany in the ‘30s.”

Hours earlier, attorney-author Mike Godwin, who coined “Godwin’s Law,” asserted that it is perfectly okay to compare the former president to the Nazi leader.
