These Are the Important Dates to Know for the Jam-Packed Election Year in 2024

The 2024 calendar will be chock-full of national and statewide races alongside a contentious presidential election coinciding with Donald Trump’s slate of trials amid his run for another term.

Presidential candidates, House and Senate hopefuls, gubernatorial nominees and others will face off on Nov. 5 after a busy year of party primaries and special elections. Additionally, the former president faces four trials following 2023 indictments related to alleged election interference, classified documents and hush money payments as he challenges President Joe Biden for the White House.

Iowa’s caucus is the first nominating contest of the 2024 season on Jan. 15, followed by New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary on Jan. 23. Nevada is holding both a party primary and a state caucus within two days of each other on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8, respectively.

South Carolina’s primary is set for Feb. 24, and Michigan’s will take place three days later. . .

As a part of the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC’s) new calendar, at the directive of Biden, South Carolina was moved up first for their party, pushing back both Iowa and New Hampshire. Iowa caved to the DNC, and will release their presidential preferences on March 5, while New Hampshire kept its late January date. Former Obama Advisor Warns Democrats: Excluding Trump From Ballots a Mistake

Former President Barack Obama’s top adviser, David Axelrod, has raised concerns about the strategy some states are considering to keep former President Donald Trump off the primary ballots for the 2024 presidential election. Axelrod, known for his political insights, revealed to CNN on Friday that he harbored “very, very strong reservations” about such moves, highlighting the potential risks it could pose for the Democratic Party.

States like Maine and Colorado have taken steps to declare Trump “ineligible” to run for president in 2024, citing the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection” clause in response to the events of January 6th, 2021. Axelrod expressed his worry, stating that preventing Trump from running could have severe consequences, possibly tearing the country apart.

“I do think it would rip the country apart if he were actually prevented from running because tens of millions of people want to vote for him,” Axelrod emphasized during the CNN interview.

Axelrod argued that attempting to exclude Trump from the 2024 primary ballot might play into the former president’s hands, as Trump had strategically set up his campaign to function as part of his legal defense.

The former Obama adviser noted that every attack Democrats had launched against Trump seemed to backfire, with the former president gaining support.

Brianne Pfannenstiel, chief political reporter at the Des Moines Register, echoed Axelrod’s concerns, emphasizing that attacks on Trump tended to strengthen his support, particularly among Republicans in states like Iowa.

“If he’s being attacked, Republicans in Iowa tend to gravitate even more closely to him… His support is only getting stronger here in Iowa,” Pfannenstiel said during a Sunday morning MSNBC show.

Trump on Biden’s Border Crisis: ‘Invasion’ and ‘Migration of Civilization’ Into the U.S.

Former President Donald Trump ripped Democrat President Joe Biden’s administration for allowing what Trump calls an “invasion” at the U.S. border with Mexico, something the former president likened to a “migration of civilization into our country.”

Trump’s comments, which came during a two-hour-long exclusive interview at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Thursday evening, come as Biden’s administration has been involved in talks with Mexico to try to stem the tide of migrants flowing into the country. They also come as lawmakers in Washington seek an elusive deal that would fund more aid to Ukraine—a Biden administration priority—in exchange for border reforms that Republicans in the Senate want. Trump ripped Biden for not understanding the leverage that he says the United States has in negotiations with Mexico.

“He doesn’t understand anything—they went into Mexico today, hat in hand,” Trump said. “We have all the power—they have none of the power.”Trump was referring to how Biden’s Secretary of State Antony Blinken met this week with Mexican foreign minister Alicia Barcena to produce what the Mexican president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador—known as AMLO for short—called afterwards “important agreements.” A joint communication from Mexico and the United States that the Biden White House shared after the meeting stated the two countries’ commitment to “orderly, humane and regular migration.”

Trump thinks Biden got rolled by Mexico—something he says he would have never let happen when he was president. Trump told Breitbart News that when he took office in January 2017 after eight years of Democrat Barack Obama in the White House, there were many people streaming across the border. But Trump was able to significantly cut the flow down with deals like Remain-in-Mexico and other agreements with Northern Triangle countries in Central America—in addition to things like the implementation of Title 42 and the end of catch-and-release policies. But now that Biden is in there, and because of the fact he ripped up Trump’s policies immediately upon taking office, Trump says now there is an “invasion” and a “migration of civilization into the country” unlike any other in world history. Trump also repeatedly pointed out his belief that many of the people coming in are from mental institutions worldwide, and that some are even terrorists. Democrat Secretary of State Admits She Personally Decided Trump Was ‘Guilty’ of an Insurrection (VIDEO)

The Biden-supporting Dem activist and Secretary of State from Maine has removed President Trump from the ballot for “inciting an insurrection.”

The issue now is that Trump never incited an insurrection. Furthermore, Shenna Bellows, who isn’t a lawyer and was appointed Secretary of State by the state legislature, not the people, has disenfranchised every single Trump voter in Maine based on her feelings. . .

And in case you were wondering, Shenna and her fellow childless, aging Secretary of State harpies have some deep thoughts on “election sabotage”:

Trump: It’s the Democrats Who Are the Real ‘Extremists’

More than a year ago, Joe Biden used American military members and a red stage setting to ominously complain about Make America Great Again supporters, specifically President Trump, that they were “extreme.”

Now President Trump says he’ll be telling Americans that the reverse is true, and the Democrats really are the “extremists.”

Just consider Biden’s open borders for millions of illegal aliens, and vast shipments of deadly fentanyl he’s allowed, biological men in women’s showers, abortion on demand, mutilating “gender change” surgeries for child, and his decisions that enriched Iran’s terrorism fund.

“It is a liability. They are extreme,” Trump said during an interview on “Just the News, No Noise.”

The report said the Democrats “have beaten a relentless drum” ever since Biden’s foreboding and threatening speech staged in Philadelphia’s Independence Hall when he demolished his promise to bring the nation together again and attacked anyone not supporting his agenda.

Democrat voices are in print, and on the airwaves, literally every day claiming that the “foundations” of democracy in America’s constitutional republic are being threatened not by their own decisions to censor Americans, limit what products they can buy, even limit for whom they can vote, but by the Trump agenda of economic growth and a strong America. Dem Activist Facing Impeachment for Removing Trump From 2024 Ballot

A Democrat activist in the state of Maine now is facing the possibility of being impeached and removed from office for her decision to remove President Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot.

Whether that decision stands remains to be seen, as Colorado pulled the same stunt a week ago and it’s already been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, which is expected by legal experts across the nation to review the decision.

The newest ruling came from Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, an activist who on her own decided to convict Trump of “insurrection” and then remove him from the ballot using an obscure constitutional amendment adopted after the Civil War. . .

Now, a report from the Washington Examiner confirms Republicans in her state are threatening to impeach her.

The report noted, “Republican state Rep. John Andrews said he would move to file a request for a joint order to impeach Bellows, who issued a historic decision in becoming the first secretary of state to ban a presidential candidate from ballot access under the insurrection clause.” (Read more from “Dem Activist Facing Impeachment for Removing Trump From 2024 Ballot” HERE)

Legal Battle Unfolds: Donald Trump’s Name to Appear on Colorado Primary Ballot

President Donald Trump’s eligibility for the 2024 presidential ballot in Colorado continues to unfold. Last week, the Colorado Supreme Court delivered a pivotal ruling, asserting that the Constitution’s ‘Insurrection Clause’ prohibited Trump from appearing on the ballot.

The court’s 4-3 decision marked a departure from a previous ruling by Colorado District Court Judge Sarah Wallace.

However, the story took a new turn on Thursday when Colorado’s Secretary of State, Jena Griswold, announced that Trump’s name would still grace the primary ballot. This decision comes as Trump’s legal team appeals the Colorado Supreme Court ruling.

“With the appeal filed, Donald Trump will be included as a candidate on Colorado’s 2024 Presidential Primary Ballot when certification occurs on January 5, 2024, unless the US Supreme Court declines to take the case or otherwise affirms the Colorado Supreme Court ruling,” stated Griswold’s office in a press release.

The Colorado Supreme Court had indicated that its ruling would be stayed until January 4, allowing time for potential appeals to be filed. If a cert petition reached the court by that date, the stay would extend until the U.S. Supreme Court made a decision. This procedural nuance emerged due to the impending deadline of January 5, the date for certifying names for the state’s primary election ballot.

Former President Trump wasted no time in expressing his intention to file a petition for the Supreme Court to review the case. The Colorado Republican Party, intervening in the matter, also filed its own petition. The Supreme Court will now decide which petition(s) to grant, potentially impacting the legal arguments presented in the case.

State Leaves Trump on 2024 Ballot After Calls to Remove Him

California voters will have the option to select former President Trump in the 2024 GOP presidential primary despite calls from the state’s lieutenant governor to remove him from the ballot.

Secretary of State Shirley Weber certified the list of candidates Thursday night.

The decision from the Golden State came hours after Maine’s secretary of state disqualified the GOP front-runner from the ballot – a move that comes in the wake of a similar ruling from the Colorado Supreme Court.

The divided court ruled that Trump is ineligible to run for the presidency under the US Constitution’s insurrection clause, arguing that his actions fueled the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by right-wing protesters aiming to disrupt congressional certification of President Biden’s 2020 election victory.

Activists in other states, such as Oregon, have asked election officials to remove the former president from their states’ primary ballots under Section 3 of the 14th amendment. (Read more from “State Leaves Trump on 2024 Ballot After Calls to Remove Him” HERE)

Even Die-Hard Liberals Admit Trump Is the Country’s Only Chance at Returning to Normalcy

Left-wing New York Times is admitting that former President Trump will bring normalcy back to the United States after President Joe Biden failed to “put things back in order.”

Pollster and NYT columnist Kristen Soltis Anderson acknowledged that Trump’s chances of taking back the White House in 2024 stand a strong possibility as Americans become increasingly frustrated with Biden’s lack of leadership.

“The 2024 election will not be fought along the conventional axis of left and right or even change and more of the same,” Anderson wrote. “Voters very much want change; they have made that clear with the absolutely abominable ratings they give our leadership in poll after poll.”

Anderson admitted that Biden did not deliver his promises while campaigning against Trump in 2020. And after three years of his reckless policies that caused soaring inflation, millions of illegal aliens to enter the U.S., and a botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left Americans dead, voters are in desperate need of fresh blood in the White House.

“But instead of clamoring for someone to blow everything up, they are crying out for someone to put things back in order,” she continued. “Voters wanted this from Mr. Biden and clearly feel he didn’t deliver, which is why Mr. Trump currently leads by notable margins across most of the key swing states.” (Read more from “Even Die-Hard Liberals Admit Trump Is the Country’s Only Chance at Returning to Normalcy” HERE)

Another State Says Trump Ineligible to Appear on Ballot

Maine’s Democrat Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows, on Thursday determined that former President Donald Trump is ineligible to appear on the state’s ballot, but the decision will not be carried out until the U.S. Supreme Court weighs in on the controversial state rulings, which continue to pile up.

Like the left-leaning justices in Colorado, Bellows said Trump is disqualified based on Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment, or the Insurrection Clause.

In the ruling, Bellows wrote that she held a hearing on December 15 on three challenges to Trump’s nomination. The first two, she said, “contest Mr. Trump’s qualification for office under Section Three of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.”

“The third challenge, filed by Paul Gordon (the ‘Gordon Challenge’), contests Mr. Trump’s qualification under the Twenty-Second Amendment,” the ruling reads.

“For the reasons set forth below, I conclude that Mr. Trump’s primary petition is invalid,” she wrote.
