Trump Towers Over Republican Primary Field In Latest Polls

In the lead-up to the Republican primary race, former President Donald Trump is establishing a commanding presence, surpassing his rivals by a significant margin. According to the latest data from Morning Consult, Trump holds an impressive 66 percent support among potential GOP primary voters, dwarfing his competitors. The data, gathered from December 1 to 3 among 3,526 respondents, paints a picture of Trump’s overwhelming dominance in the field.

Trump’s lead is particularly striking, with a 53-point gap over the second-place contender, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who secures just 13 percent support. The survey places former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in third place with ten percent support, followed by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy (six percent), former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (three percent support), and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (zero percent support). The survey’s margin of error for this portion is ± two percent.

Moreover, the poll delves into the favorability ratings of the candidates, revealing that Trump enjoys a 76 percent favorability among GOP primary voters. In contrast, DeSantis is viewed favorably by 62 percent, Ramaswamy by 54 percent, and Haley by 50 percent. Notably, all candidates share the same unfavorable rating of 23 percent.

The Morning Consult survey aligns with the State-Level Republican Primary survey, showcasing Trump’s dominance in various states, including those crucial to Super Tuesday. A closer look at the chart illustrates Trump’s majority support in key states such as Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Notably, Trump maintains a substantial lead of 37 points over DeSantis in their home state of Florida.

These results coincide with calls from prominent figures within the GOP urging the party to unite behind Trump. Figures such as South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem emphasize the growing support for Trump, citing polls indicating a shift from 43 percent in October to over 50 percent currently.

Supreme Court to Quickly Decide Whether or Not to Hear Trump Immunity Defense in Special Counsel Prosecution

The U.S. Supreme Court will decide in coming weeks whether or not to expedite deciding if former President Donald Trump is immune from prosecution on charges of attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election, as Special Counsel Jack Smith petitioned the court Monday.

A federal trial court recently ruled in Smith’s favor that Trump is not immune from prosecution, but Smith’s request seeks to prevent a drawn-out Trump appeal that could delay his trial, currently set to begin March 4, 2024.

“It is of paramount public importance that respondent’s claims of immunity be resolved as expeditiously as possible,” Smith wrote in his petition to the Supreme Court.

Trump recently appealed Judge Tanya Chutkan’s immunity ruling, a step that suspended the trial until the question is resolved. By plucking the appeal from the appeals court, the Supreme Court could definitively resolve the question of Trump’s immunity earlier and prevent the beginning of Trump’s trial from slipping.

A federal grand jury in D.C. indicted Trump on four counts on August 1. Trump insists that his actions within the indictment fall within the “outer perimeter” of his official duties as president, and therefore he enjoys absolute immunity. He also argued that having been impeached for his actions on January 6 and then acquitted by the U.S. Senate preclude him from prosecution on double jeopardy grounds. Prosecutors Warn of Prison Sentences for Trump, Top Allies

Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis and her team of prosecutors want prison sentences for Donald Trump and his top allies, previously unreported emails reveal.

The emails, first reported by the Guardian, reveal deepening hostilities between prosecutors and defendants in the monumental Georgia criminal case against Trump and his top allies.

“We have a long road ahead,” Willis wrote in a previously unreported email last month to Trump’s attorneys. “Long after these folks are in jail, we will still be practicing law.”

Willis and her team allege Trump and codefendants violated the racketeering statute as part of efforts to overturn the 2020 election results. A handful of defendants, including Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell, and Kenneth Chesebro, have flipped on Trump, presumably to avoid long prison sentences of their own.

Trump’s allies argue the case is politically motivated “lawfare,” and Trump maintains he has done nothing wrong. (Read more from “Prosecutors Warn of Prison Sentences for Trump, Top Allies” HERE)

Did Joe Biden Just Admit He’s Only Running in 2024 Because Trump Is?

President Joe Biden told donors in Weston, Massachusetts, Tuesday that if former President Donald Trump were not running for reelection in 2024, he would probably not seek another four years.

Biden suggested in 2019 that he would not run for reelection if he won the 2020 election, but according to his Tuesday remarks, it seems Biden believes he is the only Democrat who can defeat Trump.

“If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running,” Biden said, adding that Democrats “cannot let him [Trump] win.”

Biden also tried to claim that Trump’s 2024 agenda, such as curtailing the administrative state or cutting red tape to energy independence, is dangerous.

“Trump’s not even hiding the ball anymore. He’s telling us what he’s going to do. He’s making no bones about it,” Biden said, CNN reported. (Read more from “Did Joe Biden Just Admit He’s Only Running in 2024 Because Trump Is?” HERE)

Here’s What Trump Had to Say About the 2024 Dem Nominee

Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he doubted President Joe Biden would be the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 election.

Trump expressed his doubts during a Tuesday evening town hall held in Davenport, Iowa, hosted by Fox News host Sean Hannity. “I personally don’t think he makes it,” Trump told Hannity.

“Okay, I haven’t said that, I’m saving it for this big town hall,” Trump continued. “I personally don’t think so. I think he’s in bad shape physically. Remember when he said I’d like to take him behind the barn? If he took me behind the barn and I went like this [blows], I believe he would fall over. I believe he would fall over.”

Biden has suffered some falls, including one at the Air Force Academy on June 1. He also fell down while on his bike in June 2022 and stumbled on the steps of Air Force One on two occasions. Biden now takes a different set of stairs onto the VC-25 used as Air Force One, among other concessions to his age. (Read more from “Here’s What Trump Had to Say About the 2024 Dem Nominee” HERE)

Congressman’s Bombshell: ‘Over 200’ FBI Agents Embedded Within Crowd on J6

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) joined Chris Salcedo on Newsmax recently to discuss the government operation on January 6, 2021.

Rep. Higgins told Salcedo that “at least 200” FBI agents dressed as Trump supporters were in the crowd on January 6, 2021. . .

This is exactly what J6 political prisoner Jeffrey McKellop told The Gateway Pundit from his prison cell back in March 2023.

Jeffrey is a decorated former 3rd Special Forces Group soldier and US government contractor. Jeffrey McKellop is being held as a political prisoner after he served his country for 22 years. After his arrest in March 2021, Jeffrey delved into video footage and documented evidence from the January 6 protests. Jeffrey was able to identify numerous government informants and agitators in the massive Trump crowd that day. After putting together his evidence, he sent it to numerous contacts. That was when the FBI came into his prison cell and took his research. They then attempted to silence him and banned him from phone and mail privileges. We recently heard that Jeffrey was moved to a mental hospital. They really want him silenced.

Jeffrey McKellop, who is trained in crowd control and worked overseas for much of his career described Jan. 6 as a government operation. Jeffrey told TGP in March, “I know for a fact that there were undercover agents, man. I saw them. I spotted it. And when you find one, then you know what to look for, and then you find them. All undercover agents, they all wear the same thing. They all move the same way. They all get together the same way. Why do I know this? Because I used to do the same thing.” (Read more from “Congressman’s Bombshell: ‘Over 200’ FBI Agents Embedded Within Crowd on J6” HERE)

Tucker Reveals the Moment He Became an ‘Active Trump Supporter’

Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson revealed Thursday the moment he became an “active” supporter of former President Donald Trump during a new interview with Roseanne Barr.

Carlson said he has always agreed with Trumps’ policies but did not actively support any politician until the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago in August 2022, where they obtained over 300 classified documents.

“I certainly support Trump, I can tell you, well I’ve always agreed with Trump’s policies, always, and I’ve lost friends over it,” Carlson said. “And I’ve never really actively supported anybody because it’s not my job to actively support people, I like to watch, you know … but I became an active Trump supporter when they raided Mar-a-Lago last summer, the summer of 2022. That can’t stand.”

Carlson said he would “still be a Trump supporter” if he did not agree with him on most issues since the Justice Department should not be allowed to take down the Republican frontrunner. (Read more from “Tucker Reveals the Moment He Became an ‘Active Trump Supporter’” HERE)

‘Coming After You!’ DOJ Takes Targeting of Trump Supporters to Unnerving Level

. . .[Trump supporters] are called MAGA extremists, even terrorists. If they also protest abortion they’re targeted for SWAT-style FBI raids. If they challenge false COVID claims, they’re voices are suppressed on social media. If they doubt the 2020 election because of Democrat machinations with the law, they’re “insurrectionists.”

But now documents show that Jack Smith, the special counsel trying to make a case that Trump is a criminal for urging supporters to “peacefully” protest what they – and many others – viewed as a corrupt 2020 election, has taken the agenda against Trump’s supporters to the next step. He’s demanding access to their social media information.

As a commentary at The Gateway Pundit charged, “THEY’RE COMING AFTER YOU.”

It explained that the DOJ has demanded a “list of all [Twitter] users who retweeted, liked, or mentioned President Trump’s Twitter account.”

A report at The Federalist said a newly uncovered document shows a court ordered X to provide a ton of information about Trump’s account, “including ‘advertising information, including advertising IDs, ad activity, and ad topic preferences,’ as well as IP addresses ‘used to create, login, and use the account’ and privacy and account settings.” (Read more from “‘Coming After You!’ DOJ Takes Targeting of Trump Supporters to Unnerving Level” HERE)

Did Letitia James’ Case Against Trump’s Business Empire Just Completely Fall Apart?

Documents and testimony from former President Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial this week may undermine New York Attorney General Letitia James’ case against him.

The bank James alleges Trump defrauded was eager to land him as a client over a decade ago, according to documents presented Wednesday during his civil fraud trial and reported by The Associated Press, and a 17 -year employee of the bank testified Tuesday that the adjustments the bank made to his net worth were not unusual. Judge Engoron ruled in September in the lawsuit brought by James that Trump defrauded banks and insurance companies by inflating his net worth and overvaluing assets.

After then-managing director of Deutsche Bank, Rosemary Vrablic, met with Donald Trump Jr., she wrote in a November 2011 email to colleagues that they were “whale hunting” — a term Vrablic explained Wednesday refers to a very wealthy client, according to the AP.

Trump’s legal team introduced emails and documents Wednesday that detailed the bank’s interest in cultivating a relationship with Trump.

The bank’s projected revenue from business with Trump increased from $13,000 in 2011 to an estimated $6 million in 2013, a document that was introduced during the trial showed, according to The Hill. Judge Denies Trump Motion to Subpoena for Missing J6 Records

Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case against former President Donald Trump for 2020 election interference, this week denied a motion by the former president to seek materials he said the House Committee investigating January 6, 2021, had not turned over to the National Archives.

On Monday, Chutkan rejected Trump’s motion, accusing him of going on a “fishing expedition.”

“The broad scope of the records that Defendant seeks, and his vague description of their potential relevance, resemble less ‘a good faith effort to obtain identified evidence’ than they do a general ‘fishing expedition’ that attempts to use the [Rule 17(c) subpoena] as a discovery device,’” she wrote in her denial.

Trump last month sought to subpoena seven individuals, including then-committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), who said he did not receive all the records, as well as other government officials over what his legal team called “missing materials.”

Loudermilk had said in a letter in June that only written transcripts from the committee were transferred to the U.S. archives after it dissolved and that video recordings and transcribed interviews and depositions were not.
