Report: Mark Meadows Told Jack Smith, Grand Jury That Trump’s Election Fraud Claims Were Bogus

Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has reportedly secured an immunity deal and told special counsel Jack Smith’s grand jury that he informed then-President Donald Trump that claims about widespread fraud in the 2020 election were baseless.

The revelation, reported by ABC News citing anonymous sources, marks a major break between the former top aide and Mr. Trump, who is the 2024 GOP presidential front-runner and continues to say the last election was stolen from him.

Mr. Meadows told federal investigators that Mr. Trump was being “dishonest” about his election claims starting on election night and that their side “obviously didn’t win,” according to the report.

The disclosures in the report are significant because Mr. Meadows, a former Republican congressman from North Carolina, was a trusted Trump loyalist in the period following the 2020 election and had an inside look at goings-on in the White House.

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung said in a statement: “Wrongful, unethical leaks throughout these Biden witch-hunts only underscore how detrimental these empty cases are to our Democracy and System of Justice and how vital it is for President Trump’s First Amendment rights to not be infringed upon by un-Constitutional gag orders.” (Read more from “Report: Mark Meadows Told Jack Smith, Grand Jury That Trump’s Election Fraud Claims Were Bogus” HERE)

Trump Files Three Motions to Dismiss 2020 Election Case

Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers have filed three new motions to dismiss the case surrounding his alleged attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The defense’s arguments for dismissal are on constitutional grounds, on legal grounds, and on selective prosecution grounds, saying the indictment “rants endlessly about President Trump’s politics” and shows “a shockingly un-American display of authoritarianism…”

Trump also claimed that he should be granted absolute immunity in the federal election interference case against him. The prosecution, led by special counsel Jack Smith, rebuked that argument in a filing last week.

Jack Smith’s team will also get a chance to respond to the newly filed motions within the next few weeks. (Read more from “Trump Files Three Motions to Dismiss 2020 Election Case” HERE)

HORRORS: Federal Court Sentence Man to Prison for Anti-Hillary Meme from 2016

[Last week, an] Obama-appointed federal judge sentenced a man named Douglass Mackey to seven months in jail for posting a meme in 2016 that directed people to vote for then-candidate Hillary Clinton via text message. . .

While Mackey has appealed his conviction, his lawyer, Andrew Frisch, says that the case “presents an unusual array of compelling appellate issues. I am optimistic that the conviction will be vacated.”

Reactions on the right to Mackey’s conviction were mostly outrage over Biden’s ‘weaponized’ DOJ going after another conservative. “X” owner Elon Musk said that what he did “had no material impact on the election,” in comparison to those behind the suppression of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which “*did* have a material impact on the election.”

Trump Gag Order Put On Hold as Washington Judge Weighs Appeal

Former President Donald Trump’s gag order was put on hold while a Washington judge weighs his appeal.

On Monday, Trump received a limited gag order in the criminal election interference case in Washington, D.C., blocking him from making statements publicly targeting prosecutors, court staff, and their families and blocking him from posting about witnesses and their testimony. However, that order was lifted Friday, and a timetable for responses was established.

“It is hereby ORDERED that the court’s 105 Opinion and Order is administratively STAYED to permit the parties’ briefing and the court’s consideration of Defendant’s Motion,” the court filing said. “It is FURTHER ORDERED that the government shall file any opposition to Defendant’s Motion by October 25, 2023, and that Defendant shall file any Reply by October 28, 2023.” (Read more from “Trump Gag Order Put On Hold as Washington Judge Weighs Appeal” HERE)

Court Employee Arrested After Trying to Approach Trump at NYC Civil Fraud Trial

A New York state court employee was arrested Wednesday after she tried to approach former President Donald Trump — claiming she wanted to help him — during his ongoing civil fraud trial in lower Manhattan, officials said.

The woman, who cops identified as Jenny Hannigan, was charged with contempt of court for disrupting the proceedings in Manhattan Supreme Court just before noon “by standing up and walking towards the front of the courtroom yelling out to Mr. Trump,” Office of Court Administration spokesman Lucian Chalfen said.

A Post reporter inside the courtroom at the time did not hear Hannigan yell, but she was caught talking loudly in the hallway after being escorted out.

Hannigan, 37 — of Baldwin, NY — is a secretary for a judge in Queens, according to a courthouse source. No one answered a phone number at an address listed for her there.

Hannigan, wearing a black dress and matching blazer, was stopped by court officers before she could get near Trump, 77, and his attorneys — who were seated at the defense table, Chalfen said in a statement. Trump Calls Federal Gag Order in DC Trial ‘So Unconstitutional’ and Says He Will Appeal

Former President Donald Trump blasted a limited gag order a federal judge issued against him Monday in the Washington, D.C., criminal election interference case.

Trump claimed the gag order was “so unconstitutional” and that his team would appeal the order during a campaign event in Adel, Iowa, Monday afternoon and just mere hours after his campaign spokesperson called the order “an absolute abomination.”

“Today a judge put on a gag order. I’ll be the only politician in history that runs with a gag order where I’m not allowed to criticize people. Can you imagine this?” Trump said. “Do you believe this? I’m not allowed to criticize people, so we’ll see. We’ll appeal it and we’ll see but it’s so unconstitutional.”

Trump again compared himself to the infamous American gangster Al Capone before bragging about his increasing support in the wake of four criminal cases and the 91 indictments he faces.

“He was only indicted one time. I’ve been indicted four times,” Trump said, comparing himself to Capone. “And in addition, I have the civil trials that are all coming out of the Justice Department. They’ve weaponized the Justice Department and the FBI … This is like a banana republic but we’re going to be okay. … The good news is, I’m the only one that’s ever been indicted with the numbers went through the roof.” (Read more from “Trump Calls Federal Gag Order in DC Trial ‘So Unconstitutional’ and Says He Will Appeal” HERE)

Trump Says He Would Cut Off Funding to ‘Palestinian Terrorists,’ Pledges to Stand With Israel ‘100%’

Former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Iowa on Monday touted his Middle East foreign policy record and contrasted it with the instability under President Joe Biden just two years later.

“Making America Great Again must begin with making America strong again and making America safe again,” Trump said at a rally in Clive, Iowa, less than 100 days from the Iowa Caucus.

“Under my leadership, the world’s thugs, villains, killers, and savages were in retreat and running scared—all because you had a president who stood up for America, who stood up for Israel, and who stood up for Judeo-Christian civilization,” he said.

He went over his four years in office, which he said created “peace in the Middle East”:

In four short years, I obliterated the ISIS territorial caliphate. I terminated its founder and leader, Al Baghdadi. I annihilated the senior ranks of Al Qaeda. I eliminated Iran’s terrorist mastermind Kassem Solemani, who was killing our soldiers by the thousands and killing everyone else. I withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal, crushed the murderous Iranian regime with sanctions, and starved Hamas, Hezbollah, and other Iranian proxies of funding and support.

Famous Rapper Endorses Trump for 2024

Famous rapper Waka Flocka Flame endorsed former President Donald Trump to retake the White House in 2024, according to a social media post on Monday.

Waka Flocka Flame took to Twitter to share his political perspective with his nearly two million fans and followers, and told them, in no uncertain terms, that Trump has his vote. His message was concise and left no room for interpretation.

Waka Flocka Flame posted his public support of Trump in the wake of a predicted slide in black voters in favor of President Joe Biden.

The Biden administration has been criticized for alienating black voters, especially those in poor, heavily populated urban areas. Biden’s popularity has dwindled over his handling of the border crisis which has seen illegal migrants flooding the country. (Read more from “Famous Rapper Endorses Trump for 2024” HERE)

Trump Brings Home Americans From Israel, While Families Beg Biden to Help

Thanks to former President Trump, an American family has returned home safely after being caught in the onslaught hell the terrorist group Hamas has started against Israel.

This week, Yitz Friedman of the American Accountability Foundation thanked Trump for helping him escape the war in Israel by boarding one of the few flights out of the country to the United Arab Emirates— which established diplomatic ties under the Trump Administration.

Randy DeSoto, a reporter for the Western Journal, applauded Trump’s efforts to excavate Americans as terrorist groups ravage Israel, saying that “the world was safer, the economy was stronger, and America was much more respected when Trump was president.” . . .

Meanwhile, families of American hostages in Gaza are begging the Biden Administration to act against the inhumane actions against Jewish people.

Nahar Neta, the son of 66-year-old Adriene Neta, a woman captured by Hamas, called on President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to help those in danger. They condemned the party, saying the Biden Administration is “responsible for bringing the U.S. citizens back home safe and sound. We expect nothing less from the U.S. administration.” (Read more from “Trump Brings Home Americans From Israel, While Families Beg Biden to Help” HERE)

Biden Trails Trump in Crucial Battleground State He Won in 2020: Poll

President Joe Biden is trailing former President Donald Trump by 9 points in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania, which the Democrat won in 2020, according to a poll released on Wednesday.

Trump beat Biden 45% to 36% among Pennsylvania voters, with 11% choosing someone else and 8% remaining undecided, according to the Emerson College survey. Biden won the state in 2020 against the former president 50% to 48.8% in one of the country’s most narrow margins of victory, and Trump beat Hillary Clinton in 2016 by 1.2 points.

The survey also found that Biden had a 31% approval rating among Pennsylvanians, with 51% disapproving.

Another recent survey, conducted by Quinnipiac University, suggested that Trump was leading Biden by 2 points among Pennsylvania voters, as well as among independents at 48% to 39%, respectively.

A series of recent polls indicate Trump has a leg up on Biden in key battleground states like Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina. A mid-September Reuters/Ipsos survey found that across Michigan, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, Trump leads Biden 41% to 35%.
