Trump: ‘It Was My Decision’ to Buy Into Idea That 2020 Election Was Rigged — ‘Didn’t Respect’ Aides Who Told Him He Lost

Donald Trump on Sunday said it was “my decision” to believe that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” — saying he didn’t respect the aides and lawyers who’d told him he’d lost.

The former president, 77, was asked by NBC’s Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press” why he opted to ignore his “most senior lawyers” and campaign staffers about the election results.

“Because I didn’t respect them,” Trump replied.

Welker later asked the Republican frontrunner in the presidential primary whether he was “calling the shots … ultimately?”

“As to whether or not I believed it was rigged? Oh, sure,” Trump answered. “It was my decision. But I listened to some people.” (Read more from “Trump: ‘It Was My Decision’ to Buy Into Idea That 2020 Election Was Rigged — ‘Didn’t Respect’ Aides Who Told Him He Lost” HERE)

‘Not Allowed to Comment?’: Trump Responds to Jack Smith’s Gag Order Request

Former President Donald Trump slammed special counsel Jack Smith Friday for trying to secure a gag order in a post on Truth Social.

Smith requested a “narrowly-tailored” order, claiming that Trump’s comments on social media and elsewhere about the case “are intended to undermine public confidence in an institution — the judicial system — and to undermine confidence in and intimidate individuals –the Court, the jury pool, witnesses, and prosecutors,” according to ABC News. Trump pleaded not guilty to all charges during his Aug. 3 arraignment after Smith secured a four-count indictment of Trump relating to his efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election.

“Biden Prosecutor, Deranged Jack Smith, has asked the Court to limit 45th President, and leading Republican Nominee (by more than 50 points, & beating Dems!) DONALD J. TRUMP’S, PUBLIC STATEMENTS,” Trump posted on Truth Social. (Read more from “‘Not Allowed to Comment?’: Trump Responds to Jack Smith’s Gag Order Request” HERE)

Trump-Hating Megadonors Funding Scheme to Keep Him From Ballot

Several organizations fueled by Democrat-aligned and left-wing funds have launched efforts in recent weeks to remove former President Donald Trump from the 2024 election ballot.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), funded by left-wing donors like George Soros’ Foundation to Promote Open Society, filed a lawsuit Sept. 6 to remove Trump from the ballot in Colorado, citing the 14th Amendment’s language disqualifying anyone who took an oath to the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection” from holding office. Free Speech for People and Mi Familia Vota Education Fund, also backed by left-wing donors, launched a campaign urging top state election officials and Secretaries of State to remove Trump from the ballot based on the same 14th amendment claims.

Free Speech for People’s legal director Ron Fein has also promised on multiple occasions to file legal challenges against Trump before 2024 primaries in multiple states. The organization filed a lawsuit against Trump in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Mi Familia Vota receives funds from multiple non-profits in Democrat-linked consultant firm Arabella Advisors’ network, including the New Venture Fund, the Sixteen Thirty Fund and the Hopewell Fund. The New Venture Fund granted the organization $290,000 in 2021 and $275,000 in 2020, while the Sixteen Thirty Fund provided $130,000 in 2021, according to tax documents.

The Hopewell Fund awarded Mi Familia Vota $150,000 in 2021 and $40,000 in 2020, per tax records. The funds from Arabella Advisors non-profit were provided either for “civil rights, social action, advocacy” or “environmental programs.” (Read more from “Trump-Hating Megadonors Funding Scheme to Keep Him From Ballot” HERE)

GOOD POINT: Don Jr. Wonders How Long Until DOJ Drops ‘Another Trump Indictment to Change the Narrative’

Donald Trump Jr. on Thursday wondered how long it will be until President Biden’s “corrupt” Department of Justice (DOJ) drops another indictment on his father in order to change the narrative following Hunter Biden’s indictment.

Special Counsel David Weiss indicted Biden’s son Hunter Thursday over the possession of a gun purchased in 2018. There are three criminal charges, as Breitbart News detailed:

Hunter Biden was charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer.

“Now that Hunter Biden has been indicted how many mins till Biden’s corrupt DOJ drops another Trump indictment to change the narrative?” Donald Trump Jr. asked following the news of Hunter Biden’s indictment.

Where’s the Outrage? Network Contributor Expresses Death Wish – For President Trump

The rhetoric over the past handful of years has been bad many times, and even extreme, against President Donald Trump. But an MSNBC columnist has set a new standard with his death wish for him.

Dean Obeidallah claims Donald Trump “must die in prison.” This, he claims, is in order to “protect the Democratic Republic.”

Obeidallah was discussing his extremism with Mediaite reporter Tommy Christopher and the subject of the media’s “portrayal of the advanced ages of the two primary presidential contenders” came up.

He then demanded that Trump “die in prison.”

“I don’t care if he was 45 years old. You should get life in prison if you attempt a coup, and there should be no chance of parole.” (Read more from “Where’s the Outrage? Network Contributor Expresses Death Wish – For President Trump” HERE)

Hunter Biden Sues Ex-Trump Aide for Posting Infamous Laptop Files Online

Hunter Biden filed a lawsuit against a former Trump administration aide in California federal court Wednesday, alleging he illegally posted contents of his infamous “laptop from hell.”

The lawsuit accuses Garrett Ziegler, his company, and 10 unnamed defendants of improperly “accessing, tampering with, manipulating, altering, copying and damaging computer data that they do not own” in violation of the Golden State’s computer fraud laws.

“By engaging in the conduct alleged herein, Defendants have engaged in unfair and unlawful activities in violation of the [Computer Fraud and Abuse Act] and California Penal Code section 502,” attorneys for President Joe Biden’s son wrote.

The suit focuses on what conservatives have dubbed the “laptop from hell” the younger Biden apparently left at a Wilmington, Delaware, repair shop. It was discovered by Republican operatives in the weeks before the 2020 election and has become the focal point of corruption allegations pointing to Hunter Biden. Whaddya Know? Trump Was Right About Biden Family Corruption All Along

“The president should be held accountable,” then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said on Sept, 24, 2019, just short of four years ago, opening a formal impeachment inquiry into then-President Donald Trump over a telephone call he made to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who had just been elected president of Ukraine. “No one is above the law.”

Mrs. Pelosi initiated the impeachment investigation without a formal vote on the House floor by her colleagues, worried that she may put some of her swing-district members in peril on what amounted to flimsy evidence (a secondhand account from a whistleblower in the intelligence community who was not even on Mr. Trump’s call) to mount a historically partisan inquiry to oust a duly elected president.

Democrats at the time, drenched in self-adulation and righteousness, argued that if they didn’t move forward in impeaching Mr. Trump over reports he pressured Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden on corruption allegations, they would be betraying, in the words of Rep. John Lewis, the civil rights icon, “the foundation of our democracy.” (Read more from “Whaddya Know? Trump Was Right About Biden Family Corruption All Along” HERE)

Trump’s Rare Visit Raises Questions About Big Announcement

By Washington Examiner. Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) is the subject of media speculation over a possible endorsement of former President Donald Trump during his visit to South Dakota on Friday for a rally with the state Republican Party.

On Friday, Trump and Noem will attend the South Dakota Republican Party’s Monumental Leaders rally as special guests at the Monument in Rapid City.

“Our Monumental Leaders rally just got 45 times better as we look forward to hearing from the original America First leader, President Donald Trump,” state GOP Chairman John Wiik said in a press release announcing the addition. “President Trump accomplished so much for our country during his time in office. As the leading presidential candidate, he can inspire our Republican Party to even greater heights.”

Trump hasn’t been to the state since delivering remarks there ahead of Independence Day in 2020. South Dakota is reliably red and isn’t a typical campaign stop for Republican candidates. Further, the state’s entire Senate delegation has endorsed Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), something that might deter a visit of this nature — unless, of course, Trump has another reason to attend.

Rumors started Thursday night about alleged plans for Noem to endorse Trump at the event. A representative for Noem didn’t confirm plans to endorse the former president but encouraged the Washington Examiner to watch the event. He is the leader, the fighter that our country needs. He has my full and complete endorsement for president of the United States of America. I will do everything I can to help him win and save this country.” (Read more from “South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem Endorses Trump for President in 2024” HERE)

Jordan Investigates Trump Special Counsel Prosecutor Over ‘Abusive’ Tactics

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) announced on Thursday that his panel is investigating alleged prosecutorial misconduct in special counsel Jack Smith’s documents case against former President Donald Trump and two of his aides.

A letter sent to Smith on Thursday cites media reports about allegations that Jay Bratt, a senior prosecutor involved in the special counsel’s inquiry, used “abusive” tactics. Jordan specifically raised concerns about Bratt allegedly bringing up a judgeship application in an attempt to improperly pressure a lawyer for Trump’s associate and co-defendant Walter Nauta. In addition, the chairman noted that Bratt later filed a motion alleging conflicts of interest involving the same lawyer, Stanley Woodward.

“The Department’s mission is to ensure impartial justice by upholding the rule of law, requiring all Department employees — including Mr. Bratt — to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct,” Jordan wrote. “Mr. Bratt’s attempt to bully Mr. Nauta in cooperating, first by extorting his attorney and then by alleging a conflict of interest that precludes his attorney from the case, seriously calls into question your team and your ability to remain impartial and uphold the Department’s mission.”

The chairman demanded various documents and records related to Woodward, his representation of Nauta and others, as well as his application to fill a vacancy on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. A deadline of 5 p.m. on September 21 was given. (Read more from “Jordan Investigates Trump Special Counsel Prosecutor Over ‘Abusive’ Tactics” HERE)

Majority of Republicans Not Worried About Trump Electability in Face of Indictments

A majority of Republicans do not believe the indictments against former President Donald Trump will affect his ability to be elected in 2024, according to a new CNN poll.

Fifty-six percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents said they aren’t seriously concerned about the effect the charges will have next year if he becomes the GOP nominee. The former president has been indicted in four different cases this year, two local and two federal, that deal chiefly with his handling of classified documents and efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

A larger portion of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents indicated that even if the charges are true, they are not relevant to his ability to serve as president. Seventy percent dismissed the charges related to alleged hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels, a porn star, as irrelevant. As for the charges over classified documents, the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, 64% said they weren’t relevant.
