Former President Donald Trump on Sunday called on Jews in the US to be “more appreciative” of his administration’s work regarding Israel.

Trump, in a message on his Truth Social platform, said he had “done more” for the Jewish state that any of his predecessors, claiming he was popular enough in Israel to serve as the nation’s prime minister.

“No President has done more for Israel than I have. Somewhat surprisingly, however, our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of the Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S.,” he wrote.

“Those living in Israel, though, are a different story – Highest approval rating in the World, could easily be P.M.!” the Republican continued.

Longtime GOP operative Roger Stone was visibly enraged when he discovered that former President Donald Trump opted not to pardon him following the 2020 election uproar, newly released footage revealed.

In the video, Stone was shown traveling in a car, believed to be on President Joe Biden’s Inauguration Day, seething on the phone while openly musing about coming to blows with Jared Kushner and blasting Ivanka Trump as an “abortionist b****.”

“Jared Kushner has an IQ of 70. He’s coming to Miami. We will eject him from Miami very quickly; he will be leaving very quickly,” Stone said, visibly irked. “He has 100 security guards. I will have 5,000 security guards. You want to fight. Let’s fight. F*** you, f*** you and your abortionist b**** daughter.”

The “abortionist b**** daughter” retort referred to Ivanka, filmmaker Christoffer Guldbrandsen, who was part of a Danish camera crew that filmed the clip, told the Daily Beast.

Trump ‘Loves the Idea of Testifying’ Before Jan. 6 Committee

By Fox News. Former President Donald Trump “loves the idea of testifying” before the House select committee investigating January 6th, a source close to Trump told Fox News Digital just after the panel unanimously voted to subpoena him.

The source said that if Trump complied with the subpoena and testified, he would “talk about how corrupt the election was, how corrupt the committee was, and how Nancy Pelosi did not call up the National Guard that Trump strongly recommended for her to do three days earlier on January 3, 2021.”

The source told Fox News Digital that it is unclear at this point if Trump actually will testify before the committee, but stressed that Trump “loves the idea.” . . .

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Thursday, Trump slammed the committee and its investigation as a “witch hunt.”

Trump Subpoenaed by January 6 Committee

By Daily Wire. The U.S. House committee investigating the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol voted unanimously Thursday afternoon to subpoena former President Donald Trump.

The lawmakers issued the subpoena to question Trump about his alleged role in the events that led up to some of the violence that unfolded that afternoon.

“The central cause of Jan. 6 was one man, Donald Trump, who many others followed,” said Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the vice chairwoman of the committee. “President Trump had a premeditated plan to declare that the election was fraudulent and stolen before Election Day.”

Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said that the panel had an “obligation” to hear from the former president.

Court Denies Trump’s Special Master Sneak Peek Into Classified Docs

The Justice Department on Tuesday asked that the United States Supreme Court deny former President Donald Trump’s request to block the DOJ from continuing its review of classified documents seized during the FBI’s unprecedented raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

Trump’s attorneys last week elevated the former president’s legal battle to the Supreme Court, requesting that Justice Clarence Thomas, who has jurisdiction over the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, vacate the stay by a lower court that allowed the DOJ to review classified records taken in August from Mar-a-Lago instead of court-appointed Special Master Raymond Dearie.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon issued an injunction against the DOJ’s use of the 100 documents purportedly marked as classified to be used for investigative purposes.

The 11th Circuit overturned Cannon’s order and prevented Dearie from reviewing those materials. The panel had limited Dearie’s review to only the non-classified documents seized from Mar-a-Lago.

Trump’s legal team asked the Supreme Court to intervene, but the Justice Department in a filing on Tuesday argued that the court of appeals “correctly held that it had appellate jurisdiction to review and stay the portion of the September 5 order that requires the government to turn over the documents bearing classification markings for special-master review.” (Read more from “Court Denies Trump’s Special Master Sneak Peek Into Classified Docs” HERE)

DOJ to Supreme Court: Don’t Intervene in the Case Involving Our Ransacking of Mar-A-Lago

This story began as a napalm raid but has now been reduced to a fire used to toast marshmallows for smores. That’s due to this FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago being boiled down to lawyer’s work, which is dull and torturously slow. We’ve reached the end of the road here regarding the lawfare, as the Trump team asked the Supreme Court to intervene. The Justice Department is asking the high court to avoid this case since they need to keep it alive in the hopes that they can find something to weaponize against the former president. The Trump team is arguing that the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, which ruled on the most recent DOJ appeal about their August raid, didn’t have the jurisdiction to rule on the special master ruling (via The Hill):

The Justice Department on Tuesday asked the Supreme Court to reject former President Trump’s plea to intervene in his legal battle and allow the special master to review the classified documents seized at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump’s request to the high court comes after the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the Justice Department, siphoning off some 100 classified records from the third-party special master review of the documents seized from his Florida home.

The motion from Trump largely hinged on procedural grounds, arguing the appeals court erred by granting a stay of a challenge to a Florida judge’s ruling appointing the special master that barred the Department of Justice (DOJ) from accessing the classified records for its investigation.

But the Justice Department on Tuesday swiped back at Trump, arguing his legal team had done little to justify the need for the court’s intervention, as he failed to show he would be harmed without its action.

Trump Lawyer Who Signed Letter on Classified Records Speaks With Authorities: Report

Trump lawyer Christina Bobb, a key player in the Mar-a-Lago document debacle, reportedly met with federal investigators in recent days.

During her meeting with investigators, Bobb highlighted two other lawyers who were involved in the classified document rift, three sources told NBC News. Bobb signed a letter on June 3 attesting that all classified material holed up in Mar-a-Lago had been returned to the government.

The letter has sparked speculation that she could be in legal jeopardy because the FBI collected over a dozen boxes of materials from Mar-a-Lago nearly two months later, and the Justice Department says about 100 of the records bore classified markings. However, sources familiar with the situation noted that she managed to finagle an important caveat in the letter.

“She had to insist on that disclaimer twice before she signed it,” a source told NBC. “She is not criminally liable. … She is not going to be charged. She is not pointing fingers. She is simply a witness for the truth.”

Bobb signed the certification letter in June following a grand jury subpoena that demanded assurances Trump no longer possessed documents that had classified markings. During her recent discussion with investigators, Bobb talked about Trump legal adviser Boris Epshteyn, who participated in some talks about the documents, per NBC. Pompeo Rips Biden’s ‘Reckless’ Presidency as Trump Reminds America Biden Doesn’t Know How to Speak (VIDEO)

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called out President Joe Biden for his Armageddon comments following Russia’s potential nuclear threat to the U.S.

Earlier this week, Biden said that he was not joking about a possible nuclear threat, adding that Russia would “easily use a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon.”

Calling Biden’s remarks “reckless,” Pompeo said that it was one of the “greatest foreign policy failures.”

“Oh my goodness. First of all those comments were reckless. I think that even more importantly, they demonstrate maybe one of the greatest foreign policy failures of the last decades, which was the failure to deter Vladimir Putin in the same way that the Trump administration did for four years,” Pompeo said during an interview on Fox News.

Pompeo criticized Biden’s lack of awareness when commenting, saying big news like that should not have been said randomly while speaking at a fundraiser event.

Justice Department Scores Win Against Trump in Mar-a-Lago Raid Case on Special Master Appeal

An appeals court has granted the Justice Department’s request to speed up its appeal of the appointment of the special master examining the documents obtained during the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.

Trump opposed the DOJ’s efforts to expedite its circuit court appeal, with the former president’s lawyers saying this week that the timeline for DOJ’s appeal should be broadened and that oral arguments shouldn’t happen until January at the earliest. The appeals court panel appeared to reject much of that in siding with the Justice Department.

U.S. Circuit Judge Adalberto Jordan ruled Wednesday that DOJ’s “motion to expedite appeal is granted” and that the court clerk was directed “to expedite the appeal for merits disposition purposes.” A special merits panel will decide “when and how to hear oral argument,” but for now, the Justice Department’s initial brief is due Oct. 14, Trump’s response is due Nov. 10, and the DOJ’s reply to that is due Nov. 17.

The Justice Department argued to the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit on Friday that its alleged inability to access nonclassified documents seized in the raid in early August was hampering its investigation into whether Trump improperly moved classified information out of the White House during his presidency. Trump Turns to Supreme Court on Mar-a-Lago Raid

Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers requested the Supreme Court to overturn a lower court’s ruling regarding the Mar-a-Lago raid, saying Tuesday that not allowing the Special Master to review all the seized documents “erodes public confidence in our system of justice.”

On Sept. 21, the 11th Circuit allowed the Department of Justice (DOJ) to keep looking at “classified” documents the FBI seized from Trump’s Florida residence in August, after the DOJ appealed their case.

Judge Aileen Cannon had previously put a pause on the DOJ’s review while a neutral Special Master was being appointed to review all documents, but after the appeals court’s ruling, the third party watchdog can only review materials not bearing classification markings.

The DOJ now has access to roughly 100 documents bearing classification markings, which Trump’s lawyers have claimed were declassified by the former president.

Trump’s request to the Supreme Court was specifically addressed to Justice Clarence Thomas, and asks for the Special Master to have access to the “classified” materials again, claiming that the 11th Circuit “lacked jurisdiction” to stay Cannon’s order. Trump Slaps CNN With Massive Defamation Lawsuit

Former President Donald Trump is suing CNN for defamation, seeking at least $475 million in punitive damages, according to a court filing on Monday.

Trump’s lawyers claim in the lawsuit that the cable news network has recently increased a campaign of libel and slander against Trump due to fear that he will run for president again in 2024. The former president sued the news outlet in federal court in Florida.

“Beyond simply highlighting any negative information about the plaintiff and ignoring all positive information about him, CNN has sought to use its massive influence — purportedly as a ‘trusted’ news source — to defame the plaintiff in the minds of its viewers and readers for the purpose of defeating him politically,” Trump’s lawyers wrote.

Some of the “ever-more scandalous, false, and defamatory labels” that the news outlet has given to the former president include “‘racist,’ ‘Russian lackey,’ ‘insurrectionist,’ and ultimately ‘Hitler,’” Trump’s lawyers said in the lawsuit.
