Alleged Second Steele Dossier on Trump Emerges

Word of a second anti-Trump dossier by British ex-spy Christopher Steele emerged this week in British media following significant developments in the so-called “Russiagate” controversy.

A report by the Telegraph, citing sources who were not named or described, said Steele kept feeding raw intelligence about former President Donald Trump to the FBI during the Trump administration, longer than was previously asserted, through his company, Orbis Business Intelligence.

This adds a new wrinkle to what the public has been told about Steele, a former MI6 agent whose first dossier on Trump has been largely discredited, weeks after it was reported that special counsel John Durham used a subpoena to obtain documents a Washington, D.C., think tank related to its employment of a Russian researcher who served as a main source for Steele in his research about Trump.

It also follows the Treasury Department announcing sanctions against Konstantin Kilimnik, an associate of 2016 Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, assessing he is a Russian intelligence services agent who provided Kremlin spies with “sensitive information on polling and campaign strategy” during the 2016 presidential race. Trump Endorses Candidate to Replace Liz Cheney In House Leadership

Former President Donald Trump endorsed New York Rep. Elise Stefanik to replace Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney as House Republican Conference Chair, while the conference prepares for a likely vote next week.

“Liz Cheney is a warmongering fool who has no business in Republican Party Leadership,” Trump wrote in a statement Wednesday.

“We want leaders who believe in the Make America Great Again movement, and prioritize the values of America first. Elise Stefanik is a far superior choice, and she has my COMPLETE and TOTAL Endorsement for GOP Conference Chair. Elise is a tough and smart communicator!” he wrote.

Cheney survived a referendum on her role in leadership three months after her futile crusade to recruit GOP members in support of Trump’s second impeachment. The three-term Wyoming lawmaker ended up one of 10 Republicans to join Democrats in the effort, several of whom had already announced their intent to vote in line with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on the extreme measure. Trump’s Own Media Platform Launches, Giving Him Access to Supporters

By WND. Headlines this week speculated about what would be the decision from Facebook, the social-media giant that earlier suspended President Donald Trump’s account and then said it was reviewing the decision.

But Trump might not care anymore.

On Tuesday, “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” appeared.

It included a multitude of his comments that have been cited recently in news reports, and revealed no evidence of the politically correct atmosphere that Facebook, and another online giant, Twitter, have imposed. Trump Launches New Communications Platform Months After Twitter, Facebook Ban

By Fox News. Former President Trump launched a communications platform on Tuesday, which will serve as “a place to speak freely and safely,” and will eventually give him the ability to communicate directly with his followers, after months of being banned from sites like Twitter and Facebook. . .

The space allows Trump to post comments, images, and videos.

“In a time of silence and lies,” a video Trump posted to the platform Tuesday night says. The video then plays news reports describing his suspension from Twitter.

“A beacon of freedom arises. A place to speak freely and safely,” the video continues, showing the new platform. “Straight from the desk of Donald J. Trump.”

The technology appears to be powered by Campaign Nucleus— the “digital ecosystem made for efficiently managing political campaigns and organizations,” created by his former campaign manager, Brad Parscale. Donald Trump to Speak at Pro-Life Summit

A half-dozen potential 2024 Republican presidential contenders are speaking Monday and Tuesday at the Susan B. Anthony List’s Pro-Life Leaders Summit in Palm Beach, Fla.

Headlining Monday’s session at the conference of social conservative activists and leaders is former President Trump, who has repeatedly flirted with making a 2024 presidential run.

Also speaking Monday, according to a schedule that was shared first with Fox News, are Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Sen. Rick Scott, whom pundits consider potential presidential contenders in the next White House race.

Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina is scheduled to keynote Tuesday’s session. Seen as a rising star on the right, Scott’s seen that star shine brighter the past couple of days, following his GOP rebuttal last week to President Biden’s address to a joint session of Congress. The speech by Scott, the only Black Republican in the Senate, won rave reviews by many conservatives.

Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Marco Rubio of Florida, 2016 GOP presidential candidates who are considered potential 2024 contenders, will also address the conference on Tuesday. Former Vice President Mike Pence – who has long spotlighted his faith and values and who chose the Palmetto Family Council, a conservative Christian nonprofit based in South Carolina, as the group to whom he would give his first post-vice presidency speech – will address the SBA List gathering via video. Trump-Endorsed Candidate Leads Runoff Field in Texas Special Election

Texas Republican Susan Wright advanced in the 6th congressional district’s special election on Saturday. Wright is the frontrunner to fill the seat vacated by her late husband, former Congressman Ron Wright (R-TX), who died of coronavirus in 2020.

Candidates were required to obtain 50 percent or more of the vote in order to avoid a runoff election. Wright received 19 percent of the vote in the crowded, 23-person special election that will now head to a runoff. Democrats were shut out of the runoff as of Saturday night’s results, with Republican state legislator Jake Ellzey coming in second in the field. Democrat Jana Lynne Sanchez, who also ran for the 6th district in 2018, was left in 3rd place and will not advance to the runoff; Democrats will not be able to flip the seat.

WATCH: Biden Claims the Border Is Now ‘Under Control’ While Continuing to Blame Trump for the Crisis

President Joe Biden continued to shift blame to former President Donald Trump for the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, but added the situation is now under control during his interview with NBC’s “Today.”

Since Biden has been in office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has encountered an all-time historic high of immigrants illegally crossing into the United States. While economic distress and social unrest in Latin American countries have long been factors for illegal immigration, Biden’s open border policies and rhetoric have incentivized large numbers of people to undertake the dangerous and expensive trip.

“It is getting urgent action. Now, for example, a month ago, we had thousands of young kids in custody in places they shouldn’t be, controlled by the Border Patrol. We have now cut that down dramatically…The failure to have a real transition, the two departments that didn’t give us access to virtually anything were the immigration and the Defense Department,” Biden said. “So we didn’t find out they fired a whole lot of people and were understaffed considerably.” . . .

“Well, look, it’s way down now. We’ve now gotten control. For example, we have — they didn’t plan for, which it comes every year, this flow, whether it is 22,000 or 10,000, they didn’t have the beds that were available,” Biden said. “They didn’t plan for the overflow. They didn’t plan for the Department of Health and Human Services to have places to take the kids from the Border Patrol and put them in beds where there were security and people who could take care of them. So there is a significant change right now, significant change in the circumstance for children coming to and at the border.” (Read more from “WATCH: Biden Claims the Border Is Now ‘Under Control’ While Continuing to Blame Trump for the Crisis” HERE)

Report: Donald Trump Considering Relaunching MAGA Rallies

Former President Donald Trump is reportedly discussing the resumption of his Make America Great Again rallies as he allegedly mulls over a 2024 presidential bid.

On Wednesday, CNN reported that the former president may also hold events to support candidates challenging Republicans who have criticized him, including Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) and more[:]

Recently, Trump has initiated discussions about resuming the signature MAGA rallies that fortified his nascent political movement in 2016 and continued throughout his presidency. While he has vowed to travel to Alaska to campaign against Murkowski and is said to be interested in hosting campaign events for some of the candidates he’s already endorsed, aides said the logistics are still being worked out but that he could resume rallies as early as May.

“It will definitely be different in terms of the setup, but we got really good at planning these events in 2020, so we will probably use a lot of those same vendors again,” said the person close to Trump’s post-White House operation.

Year Later: Media Still Making This False Claim About Trump

It’s a claim along with the likes of neo-Nazis are “fine people” that has become a symbol for the left of Donald Trump’s diabolical character — the assertion one year ago that the then-president suggested Americans could inject bleach in their bodies to kill the COVID-19 virus.

But Trump didn’t say that, as PJ Media’s Matt Margolis documents, just as never said neo-Nazis and white supremacists are “fine people.” . . .

The bleach claim originated April 23, 2020, during the White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing in a discussion about possible COVID-19 treatments, including UV light.

Trump said: “And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.” . . .

And it hasn’t stopped, with the Huffington Post declaring Friday “It’s Been Exactly 1 Year Since The Most Insane Moment Of The Trump Presidency.” (Read more from “Year Later: Media Still Making This False Claim About Trump” HERE)

George Bush Voted Against Trump in 2020

Former President George W. Bush told People magazine that he wrote in Condoleezza Rice when he voted for president in the 2020 election.

. . .Bush also clarified comments made earlier this week in which he called today’s GOP “isolationist, protectionist and, to a certain extent, nativist.” The former president told People that he “painted with too broad a brush” and excluded “a lot of Republicans who believe we can fix the problem.” . . .

Bush said Rice, who served as his secretary of state from 2005 to 2009, knew he wrote her name on his ballot. (Read more from “George Bush Voted Against Trump in 2020” HERE)

Study Reveals Media Bias Towards Joe Biden Presidency Compared To Trump

A study found President Joe Biden has received a far larger amount of positive news coverage than former President Trump did during their respective first three months in office.

Between January 20 and April 9, 2021, the study found Biden received 59 percent positive press exposure while Trump was hit with 89 percent negative evening news coverage from ABC, CBS, and NBC during the same time period in 2017, according to MRC News Busters.

The study also discovered Biden received coverage amounting to only 726 minutes of all evening news airtime for the three stations. Trump, meanwhile, attracted the media’s attention far more with 1,900 minutes.

The media’s three most covered topics of Biden in the first three months were his coronavirus response (79 percent positive), the coronavirus spending bill (86 percent positive), and the southern border crisis (82 percent negative).

Trump, on the other hand, received 93 percent negative coverage on his immigration priorities. (Read more from “Study Reveals Media Bias Towards Joe Biden Presidency Compared To Trump” HERE)
