Law Firm Accused of Firing Pro-Trump Partners and Employees

Three former employees of a Minneapolis law firm are alleging that the firm’s president wrongfully fired them due to his belief that they were supporters of former President Trump.

William Kain, Margaret Henehan and Kelsey Quarberg, who were all partners at St.Cloud-based Kain and Scott law firm, filed a lawsuit against law firm president Wesley Scott alleging that he sought to fire employees he believed shared pro-Trump posts on social media, according to the Star Tribune.

The outlet reported that Scott is accused of telling the law firm’s operation manager to fire two employees he deemed to be racist because they were Trump supporters. When she refused, Scott fired her as well as another employee, the suit claims.

Kain, Henehan and Quarberg allege in the lawsuit that Scott’s actions came as a result of his outrage over the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. Scott is also accused of calling the police to remove Quarberg from the building and telling other employees that the partners were violating “everything that is dear to us and I won’t let that happen,” The Associated Press reported. Haters Trying to Disbar Texas Attorney General Paxton for Filing Vote Fraud Suit

. . .The State Bar of Texas originally dismissed a complaint that Paxton had committed professional misconduct by petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn President Biden’s victory in four swing states. But the Board of Disciplinary Appeals, a tribunal of 12 independent lawyers appointed by the Texas Supreme Court, overturned that decision late last month, ordering the bar to investigate whether Paxton’s lawsuit to overturn Biden’s electoral win was frivolous, unethical, and filed in bad faith. AP reported Wednesday.

The state bar dismisses thousand of grievances each year, and the appellate board overturns those dismissals in fewer than 7 percent of cases.

The complaint against Paxton was filed by Keith Moran, president of the Galveston Island Democrats. Moran, 71, showed his initial complaint to AP and also a June 3 letter from the Board of Disciplinary Action indicating that Paxton has less than a month to respond. Paxton “wanted to disenfranchise the voters in four other states,” Moran told AP. “It’s just crazy.” He told The Texas Tribune that Paxton should have dropped the suit after legal experts predicted, correctly, that the Supreme Court would just dismiss it. “He wasted my taxpayer money,” Moran said. Media Obsessed Over Rumors of Trump ‘N-Word’ Tape; Largely Ignore Hunter Biden Texts

By Breitbart. The mainstream media breathlessly reported rumors for several years that a tape existed of President Donald Trump saying the “N-word,” but largely ignored a report Tuesday that Hunter Biden used it in text messages with his lawyer. . .

Hunter Biden’s father, President Joe Biden, is already known to have used the “N-word” often as a Democratic Senator, typically while attributing it to other people — such as his “less educated constituency” in Delaware in a 1973 hearing.

But Trump is not known to have used the word, though the media took great interest in the possibility that he might have done so, and reported on the rumors that a recording might have existed, hoping that it would undo his presidency.

CBS News, for example, reported in 2018 that disgruntled former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault-Newman claimed Trump staffers were aware of such a tape, but downplayed the fact that staffers later said no such tape existed. New Watchdog Report Shatters the Left’s ‘Photo Op’ Lie About Trump Clearing Rioters in Lafayette Park; Former President Responds

An investigation by the inspector general of the U.S. Department of the Interior has found that U.S. Park Police did not clear Lafayette Park on June 1, 2020, so that President Donald Trump could take a photo in front of St. John’s Church. The findings of the investigation dismantle lies made by high-ranking Democrats and legacy media figures that the former president had the park cleared for a photo op.

According to the report, Park Police did not learn of Trump’s interest in surveying the damaged building until hours after the agency had already made plans to clear the area to put up new fencing. Rather, the investigation found that poor communication between agencies and ineffective dispersal warnings “may have contributed to confusion during the operation and the use of tactics that appeared inconsistent.” . . .

“Moreover, the evidence established that relevant USPP officials had made those decisions and had begun implementing the operational plan several hours before they knew of a potential Presidential visit to the park, which occurred later that day. As such, we determined that the evidence did not support a finding that the USPP cleared the park on June 1, 2020, so that then President Trump could enter the park,” he wrote.

Sen. Lindsey Graham said he believes former President Donald Trump would have won the 2020 election if his favored Wuhan lab leak theory on the origins of COVID-19 had been proven before the November contest.

The South Carolina senator made the prediction as he joined a cadre of fellow Republicans blasting health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, and members of the media for once downplaying or outright dismissing the theory that in recent weeks has gotten a more serious look under the new administration.

“If Trump was right [about the lab leak theory], it would have changed the outcome of the 2020 election, I believe,” Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday. “And if we could have proven that early on in 2020 it was a lab leak coming from China, not occurring naturally, the public would want revenge against China, and who would they turn to: Biden or Trump?”

“If it were known in February that Trump was right [in] 2020, I think he’d be president today,” he reiterated later in the interview.

Study Shows Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc Treatments Significantly Increased COVID Survival Rate

A new study shows that the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine touted by former President Donald Trump increased the survival rate of severely ill coronavirus patients.

The observational study, published by medRxiv, found that antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine, along with zinc, could increase the coronavirus survival rate by as much as nearly 200% if distributed at higher doses to ventilated patients with a severe version of the illness.

“We found that when the cumulative doses of two drugs, HCQ and AZM, were above a certain level, patients had a survival rate 2.9 times the other patients,” the study’s conclusion states.

The study adds, “By using causal analysis and considering of weight-adjusted cumulative dose, we prove the combined therapy, >3 g HCQ and > 1g AZM greatly increases survival in Covid patients on IMV and that HCQ cumulative dose > 80 mg/kg works substantially better. These data do not yet apply to hospitalized patients not on IMV. Since those with higher doses of HCQ had higher doses of AZM, we cannot solely attribute the causal effect to HCQ/AZM combination therapy. However, it is likely AZM does contribute significantly to this increase in survival rate. Former President Donald Trump revealed Monday he would consider ditching Mike Pence for Florida’s tough Gov. Ron DeSantis as his 2024 presidential election running mate.

“Sure I would … I would certainly consider Ron,” Trump, 74, told Fox Business‘ Stuart Varney in a phone interview Monday.

“I was at the beginning of Ron,” he said of the 42-year-old former Navy officer who graduated both Yale and Harvard Law School.

“I was the first one to endorse him when he came out as a congressman that a lot of people didn’t know, and my endorsement helped him tremendously,” Trump said.

“Nobody thought ANWR could be opened. We got it done, and she allowed it to be killed,” the former president added.

The Latest Attempt by the Liberal Media To Distract Us Over Trump DOJ Story Just Blew up

It’s a piece which aged poorly, less than 72 hours because The Washington Post’s publisher elaborated that Joe Biden’s DOJ intensified what the previous administration was already doing (via WaPo):

During the final days of the Trump administration, the attorney general used extraordinary measures to obtain subpoenas to secretly seize records of reporters at three leading U.S. news organizations. After this was reported last month, President Biden rightly decried this attack on the First Amendment, calling it “simply, simply wrong” and assuring Americans that it would not happen in his administration.

Unfortunately, new revelations suggest that the Biden Justice Department not only allowed these disturbing intrusions to continue — it intensified the government‘s attack on First Amendment rights before finally backing down in the face of reporting about its conduct.

After Biden took office, the department continued to pursue subpoenas for reporters’ email logs issued to Google, which operates the New York Times’ email systems, and it obtained a gag order compelling a Times attorney to keep silent about the fact that federal authorities were seeking to seize his colleagues’ records. Later, when the Justice Department broadened the number of those permitted to know about the effort, it barred Times executives from discussing the legal battle with the Times newsroom, including the paper’s top editor.

This escalation, on Biden’s watch, represents an unprecedented assault on American news organizations and their efforts to inform the public about government wrongdoing.

Trump Gives Update on Potential 2024 Run

Former President Donald Trump told Fox News correspondent Mark Meredith that he plans to “make a decision” on a potential 2024 presidential run “in the not too distant future.”

The former president spoke in Greenville at the North Carolina Republican Party State Convention and repeated many talking points from his various statements since leaving office.

The event marked Trump’s first appearance since losing the 2020 election outside of Florida and he spent time slamming President Joe Biden, touting his administration’s accomplishments and speaking out about immigration and China.

“I’m going to make a decision, it will be a decision where I think a lot of people are going to be very happy but I’m not really prohibited because of all of the campaign finance rules and other things from even discussing that very much, but I will tell you that I’ll make a decision in the not too distant future, maybe sooner than people think. Facebook Bans Former President Trump Until 2023

Facebook is banning former President Trump from its platform for at least two years, after finding that his posts on January 6 stoked violence and posed a risk to public safety.

And, as part of a new enforcement policy for public figures, the social media giant isn’t guaranteeing that Mr. Trump will be allowed to return at the end of the ban.

“At the end of this period, we will look to experts to assess whether the risk to public safety has receded,” Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, wrote in a blog post. “If we determine that there is still a serious risk to public safety, we will extend the restriction for a set period of time and continue to re-evaluate until that risk has receded,” he added.ding permanent removal of his pages and accounts. . .

Mr. Trump called Facebook’s ruling “an insult” to his supporters. “They shouldn’t be allowed to get away with this censoring and silencing,” he responded in a brief statement. The two-year ban is considered to have begun on January 7, when Mr. Trump was initially suspended from Facebook, and it will keep him off the platform through the 2022 midterm elections.

Facebook’s new enforcement policy, which specifically applies to public figures during times of civil unrest and violence, incorporates a series of time-bound suspensions for policy violators.
