National News Reporter Shocked to Find Trump’s Support Growing

Since leaving office, the support for Donald Trump from his base is even stronger, a Politico reporter discovered after a trip outside the Beltway.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, a noted supporter of the former president, hopes Washington is paying attention.

“Here’s a Washington reporter who went to Wyoming and was surprised at the ‘huge disconnect between Washington and the rest of the country,'” Graham wrote on Facebook. “I think she is right. She shared the observation that former President Trump has actually gained—not lost—political clout since leaving office. When it comes to the impeachment, it does nothing for the American people, it only continues to fuel more disunity.

“I hope the leaders in Washington pay attention to this reporter, because the disconnect is there—it’s true all over the country, not just in Wyoming,” said Graham, the CEO and president of both Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

The reporter, Tara Palmeri, was at a rally last week led by Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., against Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, who enraged her constituents by voting to impeach Trump. Cheney has been censured by a GOP committee in the state and already has a primary challenger for the 2022 election. The Trump Comeback Begins: The Plan to Make Trump and America Great Again

By Townhall. . .Many critics think Trump’s winning streak ended with a presidential loss. I disagree. I know the man. I understand the man. I know what comes next. It may be Trump’s greatest chapter yet. . .

Here’s my game plan for how Trump can make Trump and America great again. . .

In some ways, his defeat was empowering. As president, Trump couldn’t get rid of RINOS and never-Trumpers, because he needed their votes. But from the outside, he can remake the party, elect allies and end the careers of the GOP traitors who stabbed him in the back. Are you listening, Rep. Liz Cheney?

Trump should recruit, endorse and campaign for Trump Republicans in each GOP primary where they’re running against RINOS, never-Trumpers and backstabbers. Seventy-four million Trump voters will vote for his chosen candidates in GOP primaries. By 2022, the GOP will be 100% remade in Trump’s image.

Secondly, Trump should spend the next four years fixing voter fraud at the state level. Trump should recruit his billionaire buddies to put up hundreds of millions to attack this problem. Trump’s goal should be to reform election law in just the handful of states that cost him the election: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada and Arizona. 1 Trump Legacy: GOP Staffs That Are Majority Minority

By WND. When asked for an example of how the Republican National Committee and President Trump expanded the party during the last four years, I like to cite Florida’s newest Republican member of Congress, Byron Donalds.

In a story that could only happen in America, this Black American man born in Crown Heights, Brooklyn to a single mother of three went on to become a conservative Republican who ran for a congressional seat in the Sunshine State’s 19th District and won.

The actions of President Trump’s agenda to empower Black Americans, create more economic opportunities, address health challenges, reduce prescription drug prices, support school choice, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and charter schools, as well as enacting historic criminal justice reforms and Opportunity Zones, resonated with Donalds, his constituents, and millions of other Americans across the nation.

When Rep. Donalds got to Washington, he had choices to make on staffing and was intentional in his commitment to find the best talent that represented America. To that end, Donalds hired a majority minority staff of men and women. The new congressman got his political start working for the late Herman Cain on his 2012 presidential campaign. In many ways, this is how you pay it forward by giving others an opportunity to serve in different positions and offices, just as he was given. After Legal Team Quits, Trump Announces Two New Attorneys Who Will Defend Him in Impeachment Trial

By Townhall. On Sunday, President Trump announced two highly respected lawyers will be heading up his impeachment legal defense team. The former president stands accused of inciting the U.S. Capitol riot earlier this month.

Two lawyers, David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr. will defend the president in his second impeachment as Democrats lay out what is sure to be a case built heavily on emotions. Schoen has already hit the ground running, working with the former president and his current advisors in preparation for the upcoming trial.

Both lawyers agree the current impeachment case is unconstitutional.

“I consider it a privilege to represent the 45th President,” said Castor. “The strength of our Constitution is about to be tested like never before in our history. It is strong and resilient. A document written for the ages, and it will triumph over partisanship yet again, and always.”

“It is an honor to represent the 45th President, Donald J. Trump, and the United States Constitution,” said Schoen. (Read more from “Trump Announces Legal Defense Team for Senate Impeachment Trial” HERE)

Trump’s Impeachment Team Disbands Days Before Senate Trial

By Daily Caller. President Donald Trump’s impeachment legal team has disbanded just days before his upcoming impeachment trial is set to begin, according to a report.

According to CNN, the five lawyers who signed up to represent Trump decided to leave the legal team over disagreements for the strategy to be used at a Senate trial that is set to begin on Feb. 9.

Trump was impeached by the House on charges that he incited the riots at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.

None of Trump’s lawyers from his first impeachment last year had signed on to his legal team, forcing the Republican to scramble to find legal representation. (Read more from “Trump’s Impeachment Team Disbands Days Before Senate Trial” HERE)

Secretary of State Orders LGBT Flags Flown at U.S. Embassies

LGBT activists are cheering Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s announcement that he will reverse an order from President Donald Trump and put up “pride” flags at U.S. Embassies around the world.

Outfront magazine reported on the development:

The Biden administration is off to a hopeful start, as Secretary of State nominee, Antony Blinken, has confirmed a recommitment to LGBTQ rights.

In a memo from July 2020, former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper released a list of flags permitted to be displayed at U.S. military bases. Missing from the list was the LGBTQ pride flag, which Esper compared to the confederate flag. Prior to the ban, embassies raised the flag during pride month on the official embassy flagpole.

Pelosi’s ‘Incitement’ Claim Against Trump Falling Apart

Legal analysts have called what the U.S. House did to President Trump earlier this month a “snap impeachment.”

The article of impeachment submitted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., accuses him of inciting insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in Jan. 6 through his rally speech. The president’s defenders argue the Capitol had been breached even before Trump finished his speech one mile away, and he never called for violence, urging supporters instead to make their voices heard “peacefully.”

And now further evidence has emerged that the Capitol riot was planned long in advance of Jan. 6.

The Justice Department has charged three people who are believed to have been communicating with each other as early as November.

Constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz told Just the News that if Trump “didn’t know about it, they had planned it without him, then you’re missing the causal relationship.” (Read more rom “Pelosi’s ‘Incitement’ Claim Against Trump Falling Apart” HERE)

Report: Kellyanne Conway Accused of Posting Nude Photo of Her Daughter Claudia on Twitter

Former Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway was accused of sharing a nude photo of her daughter Monday on Twitter.

Twitter confirmed to Variety that it was investigating the matter. Kellyanne Conway allegedly shared the photo of her 16-year-old daughter Claudia Conway on her account (@KellyannePolls) using the Fleets feature, Variety reported. It is not clear whether Kellyanne herself shared the photo.

The photo was deleted but Twitter users were able to screenshot the photo, the outlet reported.

Claudia confirmed the photo was authentic in a since-deleted TikTok video Monday, according to Variety. . .

“I know that my mom would never, ever post anything to hurt me like that intentionally, and I do believe she was hacked,” Claudia said, according to Variety. (Read more from “Report: Kellyanne Conway Accused of Posting Nude Photo of Her Daughter Claudia on Twitter” HERE)

Mike Lindell: ‘all Those Republicans Will Be Found Out and They Are Done!’

In an explosive interview Tuesday, Mike Lindell, the MyPillow founder who believes the 2020 presidential election was stolen, erupted on Republican lawmakers who oppose former President Trump, saying they “will all be found out and they are done,” also claiming Twitter criminally stole his identity to send out messages that were not his.

“When this gets all said and done, all those Republicans will be found out and they are done!” Lindell told Mark Steyn, filling in for radio host Rush Limbaugh.

“That goes down to the legislatures that didn’t do their job [policing the 2020 presidential election], that goes for the governors.”

He blasted two Republican governors by name as “corrupt,” Doug Ducey of Arizona and Brian Kemp of Georgia.

“This is whats wrong with politicians, 99% either have a political agenda or a personal agenda,” Lindell said. (Read more from “Mike Lindell: ‘all Those Republicans Will Be Found Out and They Are Done!'” HERE)

Minus Trump-Hating Murkowski and a Few Other RINOs, GOP Stands With Rand Paul Against Impeachment Trial

Forty-five senators voted on Tuesday with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), raising constitutional concerns over the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.

Forty-five senators voted with Paul’s motion to raise the question of whether it is constitutional to impeach Trump after he left office. This means that likely five Republicans voted with Democrats on the question of whether it is constitutional to impeach a former president.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) voted with Paul on the motion that the impeachment trial is unconstitutional.

Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), Mitt Romney (R-UT), Ben Sasse (R-NE), and Pat Toomey (R-PA) voted with Democrats, believing that the impeachment is constitutional.

This vote likely serves as a proxy vote on the final vote of whether to convict Trump on the question if he incited an insurrection during the January 6 riots.

Banks Closing Former President Trump’s Accounts, Refusing to Do Business With Him

Banks are cutting ties with former President Donald Trump as corporate America and Big Tech continue to deny services to him and other conservatives.

Two Florida-based banks have ceased doing business with the country’s 45th president, the Miami Herald reported Friday. The moves come as other institutions are distancing themselves from him after Democrats and the establishment media blamed Trump for the Jan. 6 Capitol incursion.

BankUnited, where the former president stored more than $5 million, said Friday it had closed his accounts. (Read more from “Banks Closing Former President Trump’s Accounts, Refusing to Do Business With Him” HERE)
