Clock Ticking On GOP To Pass Literally Anything As Midterms Loom

Republicans are running out of time to pass President Donald Trump’s agenda and tackle the affordability crisis as the midterm elections inch closer.

With the midterms looming, Republicans have struggled to pass several policy agendas, including funding immigration enforcement, addressing affordability and adding voter identification requirements. Republicans are on a time crunch to address the hot-button issues for voters, including the economy and immigration, before they cast their ballots in November.

The Senate has 53 days in session before November, while the House has about 40.

A second reconciliation package aimed at funding immigration enforcement will not reach Trump’s desk by his June 1 deadline, leaving Senate Republicans scrambling to pass the package once they return from Memorial Day recess. Republicans are uncertain on how to handle the Trump administration’s $1.8 billion fund that would pay people alleging the justice system was “weaponized” against them, as many senators intended to use the package to restrict the fund.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune said his colleagues wanted to place conditions on who could receive the fund payments, adding that he did not see a need for this fund. Republican Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy claimed the fund would allow Trump to hand payments to people without any “legal precedent or accountability,” while Republican North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis said the fund would “compensate people who assaulted Capitol Police officers.” (Read more from “Clock Ticking On GOP To Pass Literally Anything As Midterms Loom” HERE)

Trump Convenes Situation Room Meeting for ‘Final Determination’ on Iran Deal — Makes New Demand for ‘Nuclear Dust’

A peace deal with Iran appeared within reach on Friday after President Trump convened a lengthy meeting in the Situation Room to hammer out the details and make clear his red line on Iran’s nuclear dust.

Negotiations are “close,” a senior administration official told The Post, but not finalized.

Officials are optimistic, but sticking points remain, including over Iran’s nuclear program and the dispersal of humanitarian funds.

However, Tehran has not publicly agreed to give up its enriched uranium before the Strait of Hormuz is reopened.

The president spent over two hours in the Situation Room on Friday with Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other senior administration officials to discuss the details, which would include reopening the Strait of Hormuz, dropping the US blockade of Iranian ports — and potentially seeing the US digging out and destroying Iran’s leftover enriched uranium. Trump’s Face on US Currency? Proposed $250 Note Triggers Controversy

By Times Now. The Trump administration is reportedly pressuring the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) to explore the creation of a new $250 banknote featuring President Donald Trump’s portrait — a move that would break with more than 150 years of US currency tradition.

According to a report by The Washington Post, multiple current and former employees said administration officials pushed the bureau to design a mock-up of the proposed note, complete with Trump’s image and signature.

If approved, it would mark the first time a living person has appeared on modern US currency since the 19th century. . .

The proposal reportedly sparked internal pushback inside the BEP, the federal agency responsible for printing American paper currency.

One senior printing official who resisted the initiative was allegedly reassigned last month. In a farewell message cited by the report, the official wrote: “The buck stopped here.” (Read more from “Trump’s Face on US Currency? Proposed $250 Note Triggers Controversy” HERE)

Trump’s team pushes for new $250 bill with his face on it — but there’s a big catch

By New York Post. Key administration officials are pushing the Treasury Department’s Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 banknote with Trump’s image.

Should the Treasury Department move ahead with the plan, it would mark the first time a living person’s face was slapped on a greenback since 1866. The Treasury Department has confirmed it’s moving to produce a $250 “commemorative note” with Trump’s signature on it.

[But there are big problems with that plan.] Under the Thayer Amendment, which passed in 1866, it is illegal to put the likeness of a living person on official US currency, bonds, or other financial notes. .

In addition to the Thayer Amendment, there is another law limiting Uncle Sam to specific denominations, and $250 isn’t on that list.

Speculation about Trump eventually pursuing a banknote with his face on it has swirled on Capitol Hill. Multiple Democrats have introduced legislation to bar that from happening. (Read more from “Trump’s team pushes for new $250 bill with his face on it — but there’s a big catch” HERE)

Feds Mysteriously Drop All Charges Against Israeli Who Ran Illegal Biolab in Las Vegas

In a development that has ignited outrage and raised urgent questions about federal accountability, U.S. prosecutors have abruptly dropped all federal charges against Ori Solomon, the 55-year-old Israeli national who managed an east Las Vegas property where authorities uncovered an illegal biolab.

The shocking dismissal comes just months after a joint FBI and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department raid on January 31, 2026, at a short-term rental home on Sugar Springs Drive near Washington Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. The unlicensed property, which Solomon managed, contained laboratory equipment, multiple refrigerators stuffed with vials of unknown liquids, and hazardous materials. Multiple people who entered the biolab reportedly became gravely ill.

Investigators linked the Israeli’s Las Vegas site to a prior illegal biolab in Reedley, California, operated by Chinese national Jia Bei Zhu (also known as David He), who was convicted of fraudulently selling over a million misbranded COVID-19 tests. Solomon was described by police as a “main agent and conspirator” in that operation, with the Las Vegas biolab materials appearing to be remnants stored from the California scheme.

Solomon, an Israeli citizen in the United States on a non-immigrant E-2 visa (with both Israeli and French passports), was arrested and hit with federal charges for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Agents seized multiple rifles and handguns from his own residence during the investigation, firearms he was legally barred from owning due to his immigration status.

Yet the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Nevada filed a motion to dismiss the federal complaint against Solomon. The terse explanation: “After a careful review of the evidence and additional information provided by defendant, the Government has concluded that the interests of justice require dismissal of the complaint at this time.” No further details were offered, and a spokesperson for the office declined to comment.

The move has left the public in the dark. While Solomon still faces a Clark County felony charge for improper disposal and discharge of hazardous waste—with a court appearance scheduled for June 4—the federal gun case that stemmed directly from the biolab probe has vanished into thin air. And he was released from custody in February.

The mysterious federal retreat has fueled widespread suspicion about why an apparently solid case against a visa-holding Israeli involved with a Chinese-linked biolab network on U.S. soil would walk with no real explanation from Trump’s Department of Justice.

Trump Threatens to ‘Blow up’ US Ally Oman

Donald Trump has threatened to “blow up” Oman if it fails to “behave” in a casual aside during a cabinet meeting, as the US scrambles to reopen the strait of Hormuz.

The US president made the threat after reports of talks between Iran and Oman about jointly charging a toll for ships passing through the crucial waterway, which has been all but closed since the start of the US-Israel war on Iran.

“The strait is going to be open to everybody,” Trump declared on Tuesday. “Nobody’s going to control it. We’re going to watch over it. We’ll watch over it. But nobody’s going to control it. That’s part of the negotiation that we have.”

In addition to Oman’s decades-long military and economic ties with the US, the Gulf nation of 5.3 million people has played a mediation role in the war and has itself come under attack from Tehran. . .

In an extraordinary threat, he added: “Oman will behave just like everybody else. Or else we’ll have to blow them up. They understand that. They’ll be fine.” (Read more from “Trump Threatens to ‘Blow up’ US Ally Oman” HERE)

Trump Says He ‘Checked Out Perfectly’ in Latest Physical Exam

President Donald Trump says he “checked out perfectly” in his latest physical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center on Tuesday.

Trump took to Truth Social during his ride home from Walter Reed in the early afternoon.

“Just finished my 6 month physical at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything checked out PERFECTLY. Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff! Heading back to the White House,” he wrote.

In total, the president spent about three and a half hours at Walter Reed, arriving just before 9:00 a.m. and departing just before 12:30 p.m. Though it was closed to reporters, the White House press guidance noted that Trump was set to meet with service members and staff ahead of his exam.

Trump’s last physical was in October. U.S. Navy Captain and Presidential Physician Sean Barbabella reported at the time that the president showed “excellent overall health” and had the cardiac age of someone 14 years his junior[.] (Read more from “Trump Says He ‘Checked Out Perfectly’ in Latest Physical Exam” HERE)

Megyn Kelly Gets Personal in Utterly Scorching Criticism of Trump — Claims He’s ‘Cheated on Every Wife He’s Had’

Megyn Kelly went scorched earth on Donald Trump during an appearance on the Hodgetwins Podcast and accused the president of cheating “on every wife he’s had” — including First Lady Melania Trump.

The subject came up as the hosts spoke about Joe Kent, Trump’s former counterterrorism chief, whose wife Shannon died in a suicide bombing while serving with the U.S. military in Syria in 2019. . .

When speaking with reporters about the fallout, Trump said he was “not a fan of” Kent, and took a stab at him for remarrying “fairly quickly” after Shannon’s death. Kent married his current wife, Heather Kaiser Kent, more than four years after Shannon’s death.

Trump’s criticism did not sit well with Kelly, at all.

“Talk about a glass house!” Kelly exclaimed. “I mean, Trump has cheated on every wife he’s had. I mean, he met Marla Maples while he was still married to the mother of his children, Ivana. It was all over the New York papers.”

Trump: Iran’s Enriched Uranium to Be ‘Immediately Turned’ Over to U.S. or Destroyed in Iran

President Donald Trump explained in a Truth Social post on Monday that Iran’s enriched uranium would either be “immediately turned over” to the United States or would be destroyed “in place” in Iran.

In the post, Trump said that if the enriched uranium was not turned over to the U.S. to be “destroyed,” it would be “destroyed in place” in Iran or at another location.

“The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event,” Trump said.

Trump’s post comes after a New York Times report on Saturday said that “two U.S. officials” revealed that Iran had “committed in broad terms to surrendering the near-weapons-grade uranium stockpile,” Breitbart News’s Joshua Klein reported:

In a report published late Saturday evening, the New York Times cited two U.S. officials as saying Tehran committed in broad terms to surrendering the near-weapons-grade uranium stockpile — one of the central demands of the Trump administration’s campaign against the Iranian regime and a potentially significant breakthrough after Iranian officials had consistently sought to separate the uranium issue from the initial ceasefire framework and defer it to later negotiations.

WATCH: Donald Trump Tosses Stephen Colbert Into A Dumpster In AI Video

President Donald Trump took out the trash his own way – by sharing an AI video of himself tossing Stephen Colbert into a dumpster.

Trump posted the video Friday evening on X, following Thursday’s final broadcast of “The Late Show.” The video celebrated the end of the long-running late-night talk show with a clip depicting Trump walking onto Colbert’s set, grabbing him by his suit jacket, and lifting him off the ground before dramatically tossing him into a green dumpster. Trump then slammed the lid shut, trapping Colbert inside.

Trump smiled triumphantly after ditching Colbert.

Moments later, the song “YMCA” by the Village People began to play.

Trump celebrated his accomplishment by showing off his signature dance moves while the late show audience cheered him on.

Kevin Warsh Sworn in as Federal Reserve Chair; ‘I Want Him to be Totally Independent,’ Trump Says

Kevin Warsh was sworn in Friday as the new chairman of the Federal Reserve, taking over leadership of the world’s most powerful central bank at a moment of rising inflation fears, market jitters and ongoing concerns about the entity’s independence.

President Donald Trump said at a White House ceremony Warsh would be “totally independent”

“I want Kevin to be totally independent,” he said. “Don’t look at me, don’t look at anybody.”

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas swore in Warsh, 56, whom the Senate confirmed as chair last week.

“I will lead a reform-oriented Federal Reserve, learning from past successes and mistakes, both escaping static frameworks and models and upholding clear standards of integrity and performance,” Warsh said.
