Omarosa Hit With Charges Following Trump Allegations

President Donald Trump’s campaign filed an arbitration charge on Tuesday against Omarosa Manigault Newman after she made numerous derogatory remarks about the president in her upcoming book. The campaign claimed that she broke a nondisclosure agreement that she apparently signed in 2016.

The arbitration, filed in New York, comes after Newman made numerous claims in her book that have already been shot down by other parties involved. The Washington Examiner reports:

According to a sample of the agreement provided to Secrets, she was required to keep proprietary information about the president, his companies or his family confidential and to never “disparage” the Trump family “during the term of your service and at all times thereafter.”

. . .

Another claim, that Trump took a note from his former personal lawyer and ate it in front of him, has also received pushback:

After Trump Slams Turkish Government, Turkish Lawyers Accuse U.S. Military Officers of ‘Terrorist Ties’

According to Stars and Stripes, the court papers accuse the officers of having connections to FETO, a group deemed a terrorist organization by Turkey, and call for the arrest of several officers associated with Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, including Col. John C. Walker, Col. Michael H. Manion, Col. David Eaglen, Col. David Trucksa, Lt. Col. Timothy J. Cook, Lt. Col. Mack R. Coker, and Sgts. Thomas S. Cooper and Vegas M. Clark. . .

The organization behind the filing, the Association for Social Justice and Aid, is reportedly a non-governmental organization of supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The legal action comes amid increasing tension between the two countries over Turkey’s refusal to release North Carolina Christian pastor Andrew Brunson, who Turkey claims supported PKK Kurdish militants and assisted a Turkish cleric based in Pennsylvania, who allegedly is responsible for the attempted 2016 coup against Erdogan.

The U.S. later officially imposed financial sanctions on two ministers and doubled steel and aluminum tariffs on Turkey, resulting in the Turkish currency hitting a record low of 7.23 per dollar.

An American spokeswoman for Incirlik Air Base told Stars and Stripes that the U.S. will continue to carry out their mission at the base and they are “proud of the relationship we have with our Turkish military partners.” (Read more from “After Trump Slams Turkish Government, Turkish Lawyers Accuse U.S. Military Officers of ‘Terrorist Ties'” HERE)

Sources: Trump to Deport Assassin Who Lives in U.S.

President Donald Trump appears likely to deport a Bangladeshi military officer who was part of a notorious assassination team that murdered the country’s revered founder and nearly his entire family in 1975, Bangladeshi officials have told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Major AM Rashed Chowdhury was part of an assassination team that carried out a brutal, early dawn raid on Aug. 15, 1975, on President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s residence.

The major, along with the other assailants, were convicted in abstentia in 1998 — 23 years after the assassination. The conviction was upheld by the Bangladesh Supreme Court in 2009 and 12 officers were condemned to death. Six of the killers were executed a year later, but the others, including Chowdhury, remained fugitives overseas.

Chowdhury has been living in the United States since 1996 and applied for asylum. International law enforcement informed the U.S. government it was housing a political assassin in 2009. . .

Chowdhury has lived in Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta and in various California cities, according to knowledgeable Bangladeshi sources who would talk only under the terms of anonymity for fear the former major would violently retaliate against them. Trump ‘Appropriately’ Snubs John Mccain During Bill Signing Intended to Honor Him

. . .In extended remarks during a visit to Fort Drum in upstate New York to sign the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 — this year’s version of an annual bill that sets defense policy — Trump chose not to mention the former prisoner of war and Senate Armed Services Committee chairman who is battling brain cancer. He even omitted McCain’s name when citing the title of the bill.

The two men have long been fierce critics of each other, with McCain calling Trump’s supporters “crazies” in 2015 and Trump retaliating by questioning whether McCain, who was subjected to torture in a Vietnamese prison camp, is really a “war hero” because “he was captured.”

The snub at Fort Drum, home to the combat aviation brigade of the Army’s 10th Mountain Division, did not escape the notice of McCain’s allies.

“For those asking did I expect Trump to be an a—— today. No more than I expected it to be Monday,” Mark Salter, McCain’s longtime aide, wrote on Twitter.

McCain’s condition — dire enough that a recent HBO documentary on him was titled “John McCain: For Whom the Bell Tolls” — has not stopped Trump from deriding the Arizona senator at political rallies. Though Trump does not use his name, he tells crowds that he would have been able to repeal Obamacare if not for a thumbs-down sign from one senator — McCain. Trump Directly Addresses Omarosa’s Worst Allegation Against Him

President Donald Trump was accused by his former White House aide and “The Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Manigault of using a horribly racist word, and he directly addressed the claim on Monday. . .

In a pair of tweets from his official social media account, the president denied the claim from Manigault that he had used the “n-word,” and that there was an audio tape of him doing so.

Trump was referring to Manigault’s statements defending him against charges of racism before the 2016 election and after she joined his administration.

The alleged tape figures a central role in Manigault’s book, where she says that she sought to uncover the evidence of racism until she was fired by White House chief of staff John Kelly. She recorded the conversation when she was fired and subsequently released that audio recording.

Trump had attacked Manigault’s credibility earlier on Monday, saying that she begged him for a job at the White House after she had been a contestant at “The Apprentice” without winning three times. “She was vicious, but not smart,” he tweeted.

Newspaper Calls for Coordinated Attack Against Donald Trump

A Boston newspaper wants every newspaper in America to attack President Donald Trump in response to his criticism of the news media.

The Boston Globe on Friday began reaching out to newspapers across the country to publish editorials on Aug. 16 denouncing what it called a “dirty war against the free press,” according to a report in The Boston Globe itself.

“We are not the enemy of the people,” said Marjorie Pritchard, deputy managing editor for the editorial page of The Boston Globe.

As of Saturday, “we have more than 100 publications signed up, and I expect that number to grow in the coming days,” she said, according to CNN.

Trump has said that the media is hurting America.

“The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE,” he tweeted recently. “I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!”

Pritchard said media organizations such as the American Society of News Editors are helping make the national effort succeed.

“The response has been overwhelming,” Pritchard said. “We have some big newspapers, but the majority are from smaller markets, all enthusiastic about standing up to Trump’s assault on journalism.”

The Globe is targeting opinion writers, whose work is on the editorial pages of a newspaper, and not news reporters. It wants even newspapers that endorsed and still support Trump to attack him for criticizing the media.

“Our words will differ. But at least we can agree that such attacks are alarming,” the appeal said, acknowledging that newspapers were likely to take different approaches.

Pritchard said The Globe acted after some high-profile criticism of the news media by Trump.

Last weekend, at an Ohio rally where the crowd chanted “CNN sucks,” Trump delivered his critique of the media.

“Oftentimes I’m getting ready to do the fake news with CNN or MSNBC — MSNBC is so corrupt it’s so disgusting,” Trump said, according to The Hill.

“I would say they’re almost, they’re worst,” he said. “They’re really a fake news group of people.”

Those coments followed similar ones at an Aug. 2 rally in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

“What ever happened to the free press? What ever happened to honest reporting? They don’t report it. They only make up stories,” Trump said then, according to the Associated Press.

Pritchard said the newspapers want Americans to see Trump’s coments as an attack on basic American rights.

“I hope it would educate readers to realize that an attack on the First Amendment is unacceptable,” she said. “We are a free and independent press, it is one of the most sacred principles enshrined in the Constitution.”

Washington Post editor Martin Baron has said it is not hostile to the president.

“The way I view it is, we’re not at war with the administration, we’re at work. We’re doing our jobs,” he said, The Washington Post reported. (For more from the author of “Newspaper Calls for Coordinated Attack Against Donald Trump” please click HERE)

Kanye West Has a Message for People Who Attack Him for Being Pro-Trump

Rapper Kanye West made major headlines earlier this year after openly endorsing President Donald Trump. Trump took notice and sent West a signed Make America Great Again Hat.

. . .West explained his decision to publicly support the President and his overall philosophy about free thinking.

“Just as a musician, African-American, guy out in Hollywood, all these different things, you know, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me. And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn’t say it out loud or my career would be over,” West said. “Liberals can’t bully me, news can’t bully me, the hip-hop community, they can’t bully me. Because at that point, if I’m afraid to be me, I’m no longer Ye. That’s what makes Ye.”

‘Prideful’ Vandal Who Destroyed Trump’s Star Gets Hit With Federal Charge, Possible Jail Time

. . .Take, for example, Austin Clay. He garnered his 15 minutes of notoriety by taking a pickaxe to President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July.

That interview was given in late July. Today, however, TMZ learned that Clay has been slapped with one count of felony vandalism for what he did to Trump’s star. . .

So just to recap, Clay committed a felony to try and send a message to Trump. In reality, his actions will have no literal impact or change on the Trump administration.

He did, however, get to hobnob with some leftists in Hollywood. But it all came at the expense of spending up to three years in jail.

I hope it was worth it, Clay. (Spoiler alert: If you’re convicted, it most certainly won’t be.) (Read more from “‘Prideful’ Vandal Who Destroyed Trump’s Star Gets Hit With Federal Charge, Possible Jail Time” HERE)

Trump’s ‘Space Force’ Meeting Resistance in Pentagon

The Pentagon is moving ahead with President Trump’s call to establish a “Space Force” as a potential sixth branch of the U.S. armed forces, with top officials scrambling to tamp down reports of disagreement between military leaders and the White House ahead of a high-profile speech Thursday by Vice President Mike Pence.

Mr. Pence, the administration’s liaison with the Defense Department on the coming Space Force, will address reporters at the Pentagon on Thursday and is expected to formally release an internal military review of what it will take to create the new command.

But analysts and former military officials say the concept of a formal Space Force and the push to establish it quickly are being driven almost entirely by the White House and its allies on Capitol Hill, and that a skeptical Pentagon is grudgingly going along with the plan amid political pressure from the other side of the Potomac.

Indeed, insiders say the fact that the Pentagon delayed its long-awaited study on setting up a Space Force — initially scheduled to be released last week — could be evidence of behind-the-scenes dissension between military leaders and political officials inside the Trump administration. More broadly, specialists argue the entire concept of a Space Force as a wholly separate branch of the military is one that many Defense Department officials privately don’t support, but that they’re being strong-armed by an administration eager to make a lasting mark on U.S. military doctrine and to further cement American dominance in space.

One reason for the resistance — a fear the Space Force will take resources and budget dollars away from existing service branches and dilute their operational authority. For the Air Force, the realignment could mean surrendering control of existing space assets, satellites, launch sites and other ground operations to the new command. Parts of the other services would be shifted as well. (Read more from “Trump’s ‘Space Force’ Meeting Resistance in Pentagon” HERE)

Legal Immigrant Running for House Crushes Every Single Objection to Trump’s Wall

. . .Anybody taking the time to speak with and listen to Trump’s legion of supporters also soon will realize that he has quite a few legal immigrants who fully support him, particularly when it comes to his firm stance on border security and illegal immigration.

One of those is conservative Hollywood actor and California congressional candidate Antonio Sabato Jr., who legally immigrated to America from Italy with his family in 1985 and who now is calling for tough border security measures that includes a border wall, according to The Daily Caller.

The outspoken conservative decried the fact that our nation has essentially had “open borders” for quite some time and lamented how American citizens have paid the costs for that not only with taxpayer money, but also with lives lost to criminal illegal aliens. That problem can be solved simply with a border wall.

As for how the wall could be paid for, Sabato reiterated that America already spends plenty of money on immigration-related expenses and the savings to California alone in one year would be more than enough to fund a wall.

Unfortunately, there are bureaucrats, elected establishment officials and special interest groups who favor “open borders” and staunchly obstruct any such efforts to secure funding, hence the need for more Trump supporters like him who favor a border wall being elected to Congress.
