Trump Rips FBI, Then Praises Training Academy Class

President Trump Friday praised members of a graduating class at the FBI Academy as underappreciated heroes, but on his way there he also pointed out the bureau’s failings and vowed to “rebuild” so “it’ll be bigger and better than ever.”

The London Daily Mail said Trump, in preparation for his trip to speak at the academy, said some agents have exhibited “disgraceful” conduct.

At the academy, he criticized those who unleash “malicious attacks” on law enforcement, promising he would have the backs of officers who are protecting America.

Police officers, he said, “have been subjected to malicious attacks on their character and integrity.”

“This anti-police sentiment is wrong, and it’s dangerous, and we will not stand for it,” he said. “We believe criminals who kill police officers should get the death penalty.” (Read more from “Trump Rips FBI, Then Praises Training Academy Class” HERE)

‘Insurance Policy’ Puts FBI on Hot Seat

Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is demanding answers from the Justice Department concerning a cryptic text from one of the FBI’s top Russian counterintelligence experts discussing an “insurance policy” in the event that then-presidential candidate Donald Trump won election to the White House.

As WND reported, after months of bashing then-candidate Trump in texts and stating that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton “just has to win,” Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page exchanged a mysterious text concerning a so-called “insurance policy” against a possible Trump win.

On Aug. 15, 2016, Strzok wrote: “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in [Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe’s] office that there’s no way he gets elected – but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40 …”

It’s unclear what the “insurance policy” against Trump’s election might have involved. However, as WND recently reported, the FBI’s investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the presidential election began in late July 2016, just weeks before Strzok’s mysterious text. And only a month before the “insurance policy” comment, the anti-Trump dossier had been given to the FBI “near the start of July,” according to former British spy Christopher Steele.

On Thursday, Sen. Grassley sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein demanding more information about the texts between Strzok and Page, including the one that referenced the “insurance policy.” He is also seeking more information concerning communication the two senior FBI employees had in McCabe’s office. Reporter: Tape Exists of a Woman Being Offered Hundreds of Thousands to Make False Claims Against Trump

On a radio show Monday, former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly came to the defense of President Donald Trump amid accusations that the president engaged in sexual misconduct with multiple women.

O’Reilly told Glenn Beck, host of “The Glenn Beck Program,” that there would be a “tremendous assault” coming for Trump in the near future as a last ditch effort by Democrat’s to derail his potential re-election in 2020.

A tape exists, according to O’Reilly, that if made public would expose a supposed plot to dethrone the president by use of falsified sexual misconduct allegations.

“There is a tape Beck — an audio tape of a(n) anti-Trump person offering $200,000 to a woman to accuse Donald Trump of untoward behavior,” O’Reilly said. “It’s there.”

Beck questioned O’Reilly’s statement, asking if the tape would ever be released to the public.

“I may have to go to the U.S. attorney myself,” O’Reilly said, before stating his reluctance to insert himself into the situation.

“I had my lawyer listen to the tape — my attorney — he listened to it,” the former Fox News host added. “There are at least three crimes on the tape.”

O’Reilly cited his duty as a U.S. citizen for feeling the need to ensure the release of the supposed tape, before adding that the evidence was currently “in the hands of someone who knows the seriousness of the situation.”

When pressed on the unnamed individual’s reluctance to release the tape, O’Reilly relayed that he could not discuss that information. However, he did add that someone of extreme importance is aware of the tape’s existence.

“But I can tell you that Donald Trump knows about the tape,” O’Reilly added.

He did admit that he was perplexed by Trump’s decision to refrain from exposing the “powerful piece of evidence” that would expose an “industry” built on perpetuating false sexual misconduct allegations for political gain.

He made sure to include that the audio doesn’t necessarily absolve Trump of all wrongdoing, but it does raise awareness of the existence of a sinister scheme that involves “money changing hands” in order to stain reputations.

“It’s there. It’s amazing. And it will change the whole discussion if it ever gets out,” O’Reilly said.

As reported by The New York Times, several women who came forward during the 2016 presidential election accusing Trump of sexual misconduct renewed their claims Monday.

“Now it’s just like, ‘All right let’s try Round 2, the environment is different, let’s try again,’” former Miss USA contestant Samantha Holvey said on Monday’s edition of “Megyn Kelly Today.”

Over 50 female Democrat lawmakers have called for an investigation into the accusations, according to Reuters.

On Monday, the White House released a statement Monday, denying the accusations against Trump.

“These false claims, totally disputed in most cases by eyewitness accounts, were addressed at length during last year’s campaign, and the American people voiced their judgment by delivering a decisive victory,” the statement said. Deputy AG Won’t Say Whether the FBI Paid for Dossier

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein refused to say on Wednesday whether the FBI paid for the infamous Trump dossier.

Rosenstein, who was grilled by the House Judiciary Committee, suggested that he knew the answer to the question, which was posed by Florida Rep. Ron DeSantis.

“Did the FBI pay for the dossier?” DeSantis asked.

“I’m not in a position to answer that question,” Rosenstein responded . . .

“I believe I know the answer, but the Intelligence Committee is the appropriate committee…” Rosenstein began. (Read more from “Deputy AG Won’t Say Whether the FBI Paid for Dossier” HERE)

Trump Lawyer Calls for New Special Counsel — for DOJ and FBI

As the Mueller probe marches on, President Trump’s personal lawyer wants a new special counsel to investigate potential conflicts of interest at the Department of Justice and among FBI officials.

Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow is calling for a special counsel following a Fox News report that detailed how the wife of a DOJ official demoted for concealing his meetings with Fusion GPS, the firm behind the Trump “dossier,” herself worked that same firm during the 2016 election.

“The Department of Justice and FBI cannot ignore the multiple problems that have been created by these obvious conflicts of interests. These new revelations require the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate,” Sekulow told Axios.

Sekulow confirmed his desire for a new special counsel to NBC news.

Sekulow’s demands follow a string of reports revealing how several members of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe have questionable ties to the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton.

President Trump has previously called the Mueller probe a “witch hunt” and has reportedly contemplated firing the special counsel. According to Axios, however, Trump plans to cooperate with Mueller and let the investigation reach its conclusion with the expectation that President Trump will be fully cleared by next year.

On the contrary, LevinTV host Mark Levin has repeatedly warned that Mueller’s investigation is not meant to prove or disprove that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 election, but rather is a partisan ploy to hand the Democrats ammunition in an impeachment process.

In November, the Washington Post reported that Attorney General Jeff Sessions was contemplating a new special counsel to investigate the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One deal. (For more from the author of “Trump Lawyer Calls for New Special Counsel — for DOJ and FBI” please click HERE)

Trump’s Jerusalem Declaration Sparks Talk of 3rd Temple

While Muslims jeer, Israelis cheer President Trump’s Jerusalem declaration, prompting Jewish religious activists to suggest building the Third Temple is closer to reality than ever before.

“What he did … was an enormous step in bringing the Temple,” said Asaf Fried, official spokesman for the United Temple Movement, an association of organizations working towards making the Third Temple a reality . . .

Fried sees Trump’s role similar to the one played by Cyrus, the Persian king who ended the Babylonian exile and helped build the Second Jewish Temple.

“There have been amazing advances towards bringing the Temple this year. It was clear that Trump was part of that process, guided by Hashem (God),” Fried declared . . .

“One year ago, the Sanhedrin called on Trump to build the Temple as Cyrus did 2,000 years ago,” [Rabbi Hillel Weiss] said. “He has clearly moved in this direction but there is still a long way to go and many pitfalls that could prevent that from happening. Trump is facing enormous political pressures. The borders of Jerusalem are still open to negotiation. The Temple Mount is still not a settled issue and the United Nations is working hard at trying to convince the world the Jews have no place there. If Trump is to succeed, the Jews have to come together in unity in order for him to remain strong.” (Read more from “Trump’s Jerusalem Declaration Sparks Talk of 3rd Temple” HERE)

Fusion GPS Tried to Tie Trump to Clinton Pedophile Pal as Part of Smear Campaign

Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm whose Democrat-financed Russia dossier fueled an FBI investigation into Donald Trump, pitched other stories about the Republican presidential candidate to Washington reporters, including an attempt to tie him to a convicted pedophile who was once buddies with former President Bill Clinton.

Journalist sources told The Washington Times that Fusion founder Glenn Simpson pushed the idea of a close relationship between Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting sex from an underage girl.

The Trump-Epstein link appears purely social, far short of Mr. Clinton’s 20-plus plane rides on Epstein’s “Lolita Express” private jet around the globe in the early 2000s.

Ken Silverstein, the reporter who ultimately wrote an Epstein-Trump report, confirmed to The Times that Fusion had sourced the story. Mr. Silverstein, founder and editor of WashingtonBabylon.com who wrote the story for Vice.com, defended Mr. Simpson as a solid source of information that must first be confirmed.

For years, Fusion GPS has been an influential hidden hand in Washington, with entree into the city’s most powerful news bureaus. (Read more from “Fusion GPS Tried to Tie Trump to Clinton Pedophile Pal as Part of Smear Campaign” HERE)

Trump, Mattis Turn Military Loose on ISIS, Leaving Terror Caliphate in Tatters

Hundreds of ISIS fighters had just been chased out of a northern Syrian city and were fleeing through the desert in long convoys, presenting an easy target to U.S. A-10 “warthogs.”

But the orders to bomb the black-clad jihadists never came, and the terrorists melted into their caliphate — living to fight another day. The events came in August 2016, even as then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was vowing on the campaign trail to let generals in his administration crush the organization that, under President Obama, had grown from the “jayvee team” to the world’s most feared terrorist organization.

“I will…quickly and decisively bomb the hell out of ISIS,” Trump, who would name legendary Marine Corps Gen. James Mattis as secretary of defense, promised. “We will not have to listen to the politicians who are losing the war on terrorism.”

Just over a year later, ISIS has been routed from Iraq and Syria with an ease and speed that’s surprised even the men and women who carried out the mission. Experts say it’s a prime example of a campaign promise kept. President Trump scrapped his predecessor’s rules of engagement, which critics say hamstrung the military, and let battlefield decisions be made by the generals in the theater, and not bureaucrats in Washington.

At its peak, ISIS held land in Iraq and Syria that equaled the size of West Virginia, ruled over as many as 8 million people, controlled oilfields and refineries, agriculture, smuggling routes and vast arsenals. It ran a brutal, oppressive government, even printing its own currency. (Read more from “Trump, Mattis Turn Military Loose on ISIS, Leaving Terror Caliphate in Tatters” HERE)

David Brock May Be Illegally Funding an Effort to Impeach Trump

David Brock’s Media Matters for America appears to be granting hundreds of thousands of dollars in charitable funds to political groups that are trying to impeach the president and unseat Republicans across the nation.

Brock’s Media Matters for America is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has tax-exempt status. That tax-exempt status comes with an important caveat: the non-profit is barred from participating in political activity–funding or otherwise–that is in support or opposition to a candidate for office.

Media Matters for America granted $200,000 in 2016 to a Brock organization, though it is unclear if it was American Bridge 21st Century Foundation or a super PAC sharing its name, American Bridge 21st Century PAC, according to the non-profit’s 2016 financial statements and filings with the IRS obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Both organizations have a history of engaging in political behavior, as TheDCNF exclusively reported in October. Brock’s organizations face a Federal Election Commission complaint detailing an alleged scheme to hide donor identities involving both the foundation and super PAC that allowed for the funneling of untraceable millions that can not be publicly traced to their donors toward initiatives against conservative and GOP causes around the nation.

Under the IRS code, all 501(c)3 non-profit organizations “are absolutely prohibited from directly or indirectly participating in, or intervening in, any political campaign on behalf of (or in opposition to) any candidate for elective public office.” (Read more from “David Brock May Be Illegally Funding an Effort to Impeach Trump” HERE)

Spread the Swamp? Trump Administration Wants to Move Government Offices out of Washington

Amid the talk of draining swamps, restoring political might to blue-collar America and turning off the spigot of taxpayer cash that showers Washington, a familiar battle cry is ricocheting through this city: Move the bureaucrats out.

It has the ring of a Trumpian fantasy. Dislodge arms of the federal government from Washington and reattach them in faraway places, spreading the wealth generated by these well-paid agency workforces and forcing senior bureaucrats to face the people they affect.

But the idea has established populist roots that spread across party lines, and they are reemerging at this unique political moment.

The swaggering Interior secretary from Montana is putting the finishing touches on his plan to move the headquarters of three large public lands agencies to the West. The Stanford economist representing Silicon Valley in Congress sees opportunity to strategically seed regions of the country with pieces of the federal bureaucracy that can benefit them — and that they can benefit. The unlikely prospect of locating the Department of Transportation in Los Angeles is dangled by Republicans eager to show this crusade has bipartisan cred. (Read more from “Spread the Swamp?
