Trump: U.S. Navy Blows a Hole in Iranian Ship, Seizes Vessel — Tehran Threatens Response as Talks Remain Uncertain

President Donald Trump said Sunday the U.S. “stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom” of an Iranian-flagged cargo ship before seizing the vessel — marking the first known use of force under Washington’s naval blockade as Tehran threatens retaliation and critical ceasefire talks hang in the balance.

In a Truth Social post Sunday afternoon, Trump said the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance intercepted the vessel, identified as the Touska, in the Gulf of Oman after it attempted to breach the blockade, adding that “U.S. Marines have custody of the vessel” and are “seeing what’s on board.”

Video released Sunday evening by U.S. Central Command confirmed the encounter, showing repeated warnings issued over several hours, including an audio command ordering, “Vacate your engine room… we are prepared to subject you to disabling fire,” before the destroyer fired into the vessel’s engine compartment.

CENTCOM said the Touska was warned multiple times over a six-hour period while sailing toward Iran’s Bandar Abbas port before U.S. forces disabled its propulsion using the destroyer’s 5-inch MK 45 gun, after which Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit boarded and secured the vessel, which remains in U.S. custody.

The seizure marks the first known forcible interdiction since the blockade went into effect April 13, following the collapse of Pakistan-mediated talks, which U.S. officials said had already forced at least 25 vessels to turn back without incident.

Donald Trump Rages at ‘Fake News’, Breaks Silence on Melania Trump’s Jeffrey Epstein Speech

President Donald Trump has finally addressed First Lady Melania Trump’s controversial remarks on Jeffrey Epstein from the White House. She shocked everyone when she dismissed allegations about her relationship with disgraced financier and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, in a speech on April 9.

After the surprise announcement, her ex-chief of staff also gave the president’s claim a ‘B-’ rating that he had no idea about her speech and that he was “caught off guard” by her unexpected statement.

And now, Trump has finally put the talk to rest. According to the Mirror, the president has revealed that she gave a statement denying her connection with Epstein as a constant stream of “fake news” was “bothering” her. This happened after a reporter questioned Trump about the recent statement outside the White House.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House on Thursday, April 16, Trump said there were no ties between his wife and Epstein. “She had none”, he said. “Because the fake news said she did. She had none. I think that’s been proven”, he continued.

Trump and Epstein were reportedly once friends, but their relationship strained with time. Despite repeated mention of his name in Epstein Files released by the DOJ, the president claimed to have no awareness or ties to Epstein’s criminal activities during the billionaire’s lifetime.

Iran Opens Strait Of Hormuz… For Now

President Donald Trump and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi announced Friday that the Strait of Hormuz was officially open.

Trump took to Truth Social to thank the Iranians for opening the strait after previously claiming the U.S. was close to a deal to permanently end the conflict. Crude oil futures declined shorty after Iran announced the strait’s opening, with prices tumbling by over 10% as of this writing.

“THANK YOU!” Trump said on Truth Social. “Iran Has JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE STRAIT OF IRAN IS FULLY OPEN AND READY FOR FULL PASSAGE.”

However, Araghchi’s announcement on X was less enthusiastic. He explained that the Strait of Hormuz would only remain open “for the remaining period of ceasefire.”

“In line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire, on the coordinated route as already announced by Ports and Maritime Organisation of the Islamic Rep. of Iran,” Araghchi wrote.

Trump Sides With Deep State, Signals Intent To Preserve Spy Tool That Snarled His First Term

President Donald Trump signaled a willingness Wednesday to extend a hotly debated surveillance tool while also commenting that he would willingly surrender his rights and privileges to do so.

The president posted on Truth Social that he was working with Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, along with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, on extending Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). The post comes as Republicans’ infighting grows over the provision between Johnson and several members of the Rules committee.

“I am asking Republicans to UNIFY, and vote together on the test vote to bring a clean Bill to the floor. We need to stick together when this Bill comes before the House Rules Committee today to keep it CLEAN,” Trump wrote.

Trump also pointed to former FBI Director James Comey, saying that he used FISA Title I as part of his investigation into Russian Collusion in the president’s 2016 campaign. He then added that he would be willing to surrender part of his own rights for the section.

“I am willing to risk the giving up of my Rights and Privileges as a Citizen for our Great Military and Country! Our Military Patriots desperately need FISA 702, and it is one of the reasons we have had such tremendous SUCCESS on the battlefield,” Trump wrote.

‘Nail In The Coffin’: MTG Says Trump Blamed Her For Death Threats Against Her Children

Former Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene alleged Wednesday that President Donald Trump responded without compassion when she raised concerns about escalating death threats against her and her children.

Greene made the allegation during an appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” where she detailed her break with Trump and criticized his recent political rhetoric. Greene said she contacted Trump and other senior officials after receiving a surge of threats she linked to political attacks against her.

“The death threats escalated on one of my children, and I had sent those death threats to the FBI Director Kash Patel. I sent them to the Vice President JD Vance, Susie Wiles, James Blair, and I even texted the president, and I was so upset over death threats on my children because of him. And you know, the quotes in the death threat were from what the president had been calling me, a traitor. And I’m not a traitor to my country,” Greene said. “Standing up for rape victims doesn’t make me a traitor. And I reached out to the president to let him know this is what’s happening because [of] what you’re saying about me, and he was very unkind about these death threats. And so that was our last exchange, was on text message.”

Greene added that Trump responded without sympathy and placed responsibility for the threats on her.

“He basically blamed me. He had no compassion for death threats on my children. Trump Reforms Cut Legal Immigration by 50 percent

The number of migrants approved for citizenship dropped by roughly 50 percent amid the pro-America review process set by Donald Trump’s agents at the Department of Homeland Security.

The reduced inflow of migrants will pressure companies to raise wages and increase investment in productivity-boosting workplace technology. The decline will also cut housing costs, helping Americans to get married and raise kids.

There were big fluctuations in applications for naturalization during 2025, yet overall, there was a steep drop in citizenship requests compared to 2024, which was Biden’s final year in office, according to the latest data from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), NPR reported.

“During the first few months of Trump’s second term, the administration approved a record-high number of naturalizations. At the peak of 2025, 88,488 applications were approved in one month — the largest number since USCIS began tracking month-by-month naturalization data in 2022,” NPR added.

However, by January of this year, that number fell to only 32,862, which is the lowest number USCIS ever tracked.

US president Donald Trump sparked major backlash after sharing an AI-generated image depicting him as Jesus Christ – his explanation? He thought it was depicting him as a doctor.

Despite claiming to be religious, Trump managed to offend millions of faithful people after sharing the controversial image on Truth Social, which showed him dressed in a white gown with red cloth around his shoulders, with his palm pressed to the forehead of a sick man.

The incident sparked major backlash and Trump was questioned by reporters over whether he posted the image himself.

“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor and had to do with the Red Cross as a Red Cross worker there, which we support. Only the fake news could come up with that one,” Trump claimed.

It’s fair to say not many people bought his explanation. Trump has since deleted the post.

Trump Family Crypto Project Rocked by Raging Investor Revolt

Investors are fuming at the Trump family’s crypto operation over a move they say secretly set them up to potentially get ripped off.

World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency venture co-founded by members of President Trump’s family and his special envoy, Steve Witkoff, has been accused of secretly building controls that let insiders freeze investors’ funds.

Billionaire backer Justin Sun, who poured tens of millions of dollars into World Liberty in its infancy, called the project “a trap masquerading as a door” in a post on X on Sunday.

Sun has led the growing backlash over the project’s decision to use its own WLFI tokens as collateral on a lending platform to secure a $75 million loan. Critics argue the move could allow World Liberty to extract cash ahead of a major token unlock, potentially flooding the market with new supply and pushing the prices down.

The WLFI token has already lost more than half its value since a portion of its supply was freed up for trading last year. The token price has collapsed by around 80 percent from its all-time high price as a result of the collateral saga. Trump Posts ‘Blasphemous’ AI Photo Depicting Himself as Jesus Christ after Pope Rant

President Donald Trump posted a “blasphemous” AI image depicting him as Jesus on his Truth Social account minutes after unleashing a blistering attack on Pope Leo XIV.

The image features Trump healing a man who appears to be Jeffrey Epstein or possibly a war veteran in a hospital bed. Nurses, veterans and active duty soldiers surround him, while others can be seen in a depiction of heaven above and behind him.

Also behind him are famous American monuments, including the Statue of Liberty and the Lincoln Memorial. A massive American flag and several warplanes and eagles float in the sky near the depiction of heaven.

“Trump is now posting AI images of himself as Jesus Christ healing, what appears to be, a young Jeffrey Epstein,” Democratic commentator Harry Sisson posted on X, attaching a screenshot of the Truth Social post. Another user commented under it, “That is some blasphemous bulls***.”

The post depicting Trump as Jesus comes minutes after the president posted a lengthy rant about Pope Leo, branding him “WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy” while taking credit for his election to the papacy.

Trump Hit with ‘Haunting’ Blackmail Theory Explaining His Iran Moves: ‘We’re not joking’

Over the past month, President Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his administration’s war against Iran, culminating with his threat to destroy Iran’s entire civilization earlier this week, but according to Tucker Carlson’s independent media outlet, a “blackmail” operation could potentially be forcing the president’s hand.

The theory was outlined in a Friday morning newsletter from the Tucker Carlson Network, which pointed to a past incident that some have characterized as an attempted effort to blackmail a sitting U.S. president. Specifically, the newsletter cites claims made by political writer Daniel Halper in his 2014 biography “Clinton Inc.,” supported in part by sworn testimony given in 1998 to the congressionally established Office of Independent Counsel.

“Establishment media never reports this, but the Israeli government has a storied history of blackmailing U.S. Presidents,” the newsletter reads. “Perhaps the most jarring example occurred in the 90s, when Israel used recordings of a Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky phone sex session as leverage to pressure Clinton into releasing convicted spy Jonathan Pollard from prison. We’re not joking. That really happened.”

Evidence supporting the allegation that Israel had attempted to use phone recordings of Clinton and Lewinsky as “leverage” first emerged in 1998 after Lewinsky testified before the Office of Independent Counsel about her affair with the sitting president.

During her testimony, Lewinsky said that in early 1997, Clinton had told her “that he suspected a foreign embassy was tapping his telephones, (he did not specify which one),” just one month after then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Clinton in the Oval Office.
