Winning: Trump Job Approval Highest Ever in CBS Poll

Far-left CBS News got some bad news from its latest poll. Currently, 53 percent of the public approves of the job President Donald Trump’s doing and 59 percent approve of his deportation of illegal aliens.

What’s most fascinating about this particular poll is that it’s not a poll of voters. Rather, it’s a poll of 2,175 U.S. adults. The GOP tends to poll better with tighter screening for registered voters and likely voters. There is nothing wrong with an “adults” poll, but knowing the fake news artists at CBS News, it’s not unreasonable to assume they asked for an “adults” poll hoping these numbers would be lower. . .

Here are the most intriguing findings…

Currently, 53 percent of the job Trump is doing as president while only 47 percent disapprove.

An obviously unhappy Margaret Brennan told her Face the Nation audience Sunday that this was the best showing for Trump ever in the CBS News poll… (Read more from “Winning: Trump Job Approval Highest Ever in CBS Poll” HERE)

Trump Wasn’t Joking: Some IRS Workers To Help With Deportation, Report Says

There was apparently some truth to President Donald Trump’s quip last month about sending Internal Revenue Service (IRS) workers to the southern U.S. border to help with deportation efforts.

Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has asked Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to deputize some law-enforcement workers, including criminal investigators from the IRS, to help with immigration efforts, according to documents obtained by the Wall Street Journal.

IRS criminal investigators often carry firearms and can make arrests. They currently investigate tax return preparer fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and identity theft schemes, among other crimes, according to the IRS website.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem asked Bessent to provide agents who would help investigate financial flows involving human-trafficking networks and businesses that employ illegal immigrants in a memo dated February 7, the Journal reported. The agents could help arrest, detain, and transport criminal illegals. (Read more from “Trump Wasn’t Joking: Some IRS Workers To Help With Deportation, Report Says” HERE)

Trump Gives Surprising Answer When Asked About JD Vance Being His Successor in 2028

President Trump has said it’s too early to know if he will anoint Vice President JD Vance as his would-be successor ahead of the 2028 election.

Fox News chief political anchor Bret Baier asked Trump, 78, in an interview taped ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl: “Do you view Vice President JD Vanceas your successor, the Republican nominee in 2028?”

“No, but he’s very capable,” Trump replied.

“I think you have a lot of very capable people,” the president added. “So far I think he’s doing a fantastic job. It’s too early. We’re just starting.”

“By the time we get to get to the midterms,” Baier interjected, “[Vance] is going to be looking for an endorsement.” (Read more from “Trump Gives Surprising Answer When Asked About JD Vance Being His Successor in 2028” HERE)

LA ‘Recovery Chief’ Drops $500K Salary, Agrees to Work for Free After Exposé

Steve Soboroff, Los Angeles’ “Recovery Chief,” agreed to work without pay after Special Envoy Ric Grenell, Trump’s White House representative in California, exposed his $500,000 salary. The revelation sparked public outrage, prompting Soboroff to forgo his compensation in a bid to quell the backlash. The controversy comes as Soboroff oversees the city’s recovery efforts, with many questioning the large salary in light of residents’ ongoing challenges.

Facing criticism over his hefty $500,000 salary for just 90 days of work—money he would have earned from the misfortune of L.A. residents—Soboroff has backed down and agreed to work for free. Democrat L.A. Mayor Karen Bass confirmed he would receive no compensation, which would have been funded entirely by charitable organizations.

“Steve is always there for LA. I spoke to him today and asked him to modify his agreement and work for free. He said yes. We agree that we don’t need anything distracting from the recovery work we’re doing,” Bass said in a statement.

Soboroff, appointed last month as Bass’s wildfire recovery czar, was brought in to boost Bass’s political career after her initial response to the emergency drew nationwide criticism. Although the mayor’s office declined to disclose which organizations would fund Soboroff’s salary, critics found it “infuriating” that Bass had even considered that option.

L.A. City Councilmember Monica Rodriguez deemed it “obscene” that philanthropic organizations would allocate $750,000 for only two individuals—$500,000 for Soboroff and $250,000 for real estate executive Randy Johnson, who will oversee rebuilding efforts under Soboroff’s leadership.

‘Something of Biblical Proportion’ Will Happen Under Trump in Mideast

Mike Huckabee, the incoming U.S. ambassador to Israel, is optimistic about the future of the Mideast, believing “something of biblical proportion” will happen in the region under the leadership of President Donald Trump.

“I’m personally optimistic that we’re going to see something bold,” Huckabee said on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo.

“I will use this term, Maria. I think we will see something of biblical proportion happen with his leadership in the Middle East.”

His remarks come in the wake of last week’s announcement by Trump that the U.S. will take over the troubled Gaza Strip to help transform it from a “demolition site” to a Riviera-style region.

“President Trump did something bold,” Huckabee said.” He looked into the future and said kind of a what if. We don’t know exactly what might happen in Gaza, but here’s what could have happened in Gaza. (Read more from “‘Something of Biblical Proportion’ Will Happen Under Trump in Mideast” HERE)

Trump Reveals He’s Spoken With Putin by Phone, Says Russian President ‘Wants to See People Stop Dying’ in Ukraine War

President Trump has spoken to Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the phone to try to negotiate an end to the Ukraine war, he told The Post in an exclusive interview aboard Air Force One Friday.

“I’d better not say,” said Trump when asked how many times the two leaders have spoken.

But he believes Putin “does care” about the killing on the battlefield.

“He wants to see people stop dying,” said Trump.

“All those dead people. Young, young, beautiful people. They’re like your kids, two million of them – and for no reason.”

The three-year-old war “never would have happened” if he had been president in 2022, Trump asserted. (Read more from “Trump Reveals He’s Spoken With Putin by Phone, Says Russian President ‘Wants to See People Stop Dying’ in Ukraine War” HERE)

Trump Revokes Security Clearances, Denies Access To Federal Buildings To Slew Of Former, Current Officials

President Donald Trump has ordered that some former and current federal and state officials lose their security clearance and access to federal buildings, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg are three of the eight officials who are expected to be affected, according to the outlet. The revocations come just a day after Trump revoked the security clearance of his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, and ended Biden’s daily intelligence briefings, citing reciprocity and cognitive decline.

Blinken spearheaded the Oct. 20, 2020 missive signed by 51 former intelligence officials that implied that the news story of a laptop belonging to former President Joe Biden’s son Hunter that revealed Hunter’s exploitation of his father’s position — with his father’s probable knowledge — for Hunter’s gain was Russian disinformation, former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell told lawmakers.

“Bad guy. Take away his passes,” Trump said concerning Blinken, the Post reported. “This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings.” (Read more from “Trump Revokes Security Clearances, Denies Access To Federal Buildings To Slew Of Former, Current Officials” HERE)

Trump Freezes Aid to South Africa, Promotes Resettlement of Refugees Facing Race Discrimination

President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order cutting all foreign aid to South Africa, citing concerns about the country “seizing” ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.

Trump alleged South Africa’s recently enacted Expropriation Act 13 of 2024 “dismantles equal opportunity in employment, education, and business.”

The order notes “hateful rhetoric” and government actions have been “fueling disproportionate violence against racially disfavored landowners.”

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa previously released a statement arguing that no land was confiscated.

“We look forward to engaging with the Trump administration over our land reform policy and issues of bilateral interest,” according to the statement. “We are certain that out of those engagements, we will share a better and common understanding over these matters.” (Read more from “Trump Freezes Aid to South Africa, Promotes Resettlement of Refugees Facing Race Discrimination” HERE)

Trump Revokes Joe Biden’s Security Clearances

President Donald Trump announced that he had revoked former President Joe Biden’s security clearances, noting that there was “no need” for the former president to “continue receiving access to classified information.”

“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents.”

Trump added that the “Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from ‘poor memory’ and, even in his ‘prime,’ could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Trump’s Response to Time Magazine’s Attempt to Troll Him With Its New Cover Is Brilliant

President Donald Trump’s response to Time Magazine’s latest cover, which many saw as a blatant attempt to troll him, is nothing short of brilliant. In typical Trump fashion, he swiftly turned the tables, using the magazine’s mockery to his advantage and drawing attention to his achievements while turning the spotlight back onto his critics. His quick-witted reaction highlights his knack for commanding the narrative, proving again that he’s always ready to fight back when the left-wing media takes aim.

On Friday, during a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, reporters asked Trump about Time Magazine’s latest front cover, which has Elon Musk sitting behind the president’s resolute desk.

In an apparent attempt to troll Trump, the magazine’s effort backfired spectacularly.

“Is Time magazine still in business?” Trump asked. “I didn’t even know that.”
