James Comey Indicted Over Alleged National Security Leak To Reporter

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation director ​James Comey ‌was charged by the Department of Justice (DOJ), according to charging documents unsealed Monday.

The documents, originally sealed October 5, state the Obama-era FBI director faces charges under the Espionage Act and for conspiracy after allegedly directing another individual to disclose national defense information to a reporter in 2016.

“It would almost be funny if it weren’t such an appalling abuse of the Department of Justice, one that we can not become numb to,” Comey said in a video statement posted to his Instagram.

This is the third indictment against Comey following his investigation into then-incoming President Donald Trump regarding potential Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Comey was previously indicted by the DOJ in 2025 on one count of making an alleged false statement within the jurisdiction of the legislative branch and one count of obstruction of a congressional investigation. Former FBI Officials Charged With Lying To Congress About Hunter Biden Probes

Two former FBI officials have been charged with lying to Congress about their roles in the agency’s Hunter Biden probes, federal authorities announced Friday.

“Lying to Congress by anyone strikes at the heart of our democratic system­­ but when senior FBI agents lie to Congress believing they are above the law, it’s time to bring the hammer of justice down on them,” U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro said in a statement announcing the indictment. “When senior officials entrusted with safeguarding our nation’s security choose deception over duty, they undermine the very institutions they swore to uphold. Today’s action makes clear that no one is above the law, and we will hold accountable all who obstruct the truth.”

According to FBI Director Kash Patel, federal authorities took former FBI officials Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides into custody on Friday morning. Both have been charged for allegedly lying to Congress in 2023 about their roles in the FBI’s since-dissolved Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF).

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, revealed in October 2023 how the task force “used a sham assessment opened by FBI headquarters to cull reporting from confidential human sources (CHS) throughout the country related to the Biden family and then falsely brand the intelligence as ‘foreign disinformation,’” as The Federalist’s Margot Cleveland reported. The news came a year after Grassley revealed whistleblower allegations that the Christopher Wray-led FBI “developed information in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s criminal financial and related activity but ultimately shut it down based on false assertions that it was subject to foreign disinformation.”

Floris — who once bragged about “running a shadow government across the FBI” — served as the FITF’s deputy assistant director from mid-2019 through mid-2022, according to Patel. FBI Foils Alleged ISIS Plot To Massacre Mall Of America Shoppers

An 18-year-old was charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Wednesday for allegedly planning a “mass casualty attack in support of ISIS” to take place at the Mall of America this month.

The suspect, an American citizen of Somali descent, Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, was arrested Tuesday and faces charges alleging he sought to acquire an AK-47 rifle and 200 rounds of ammunition with the intent to commit terrorism and provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen said at a press briefing Wednesday.

“Today’s charges demonstrate that the threat of terrorism in support of ISIS and other foreign terrorist organizations is active and continuing,” Rosen said, before thanking the Minnesota-based FBI and the city of Bloomington police.

Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Minneapolis Field Office, Christopher Dotson, said that Mohamud had allegedly described himself as “100 percent committed” to what Dotson referred to as his “planned jihad journey.”

Photos Show FBI Treated Biden With ‘Kid Gloves’

The swamp’s two-tiered system of justice was on full display in the classified documents cases of two presidents: Donald Trump and Joe Biden. Trump, the swamp-drainer-in-chief, faced 40 federal charges in a political witch hunt; Biden, the “sympathetic, well-meaning elderly man,” got a pass.

Now, newly released photographic evidence from the FBI’s search of the Biden Center and the autopen president’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence confirm the “kid-glove treatment” the 46th president received compared to the raid-and-rifle approach agents took to Trump’s south Florida estate.

The photos, exclusively provided to The Federalist, were obtained through hard-fought litigation by the Oversight Project, the government watchdog that won release of audio recordings of Biden chatting with his ghostwriter about the classified records the 46th president had squirreled away. As in the famous tapes, the government fought for years to keep the photos out of the public eye.

“The Oversight Project is a dog on the bone,” said Mike Howell, president of the government corruption fighter. “What Biden did to this country was awful and so many people in positions of authority looked the other way or gave him amnesty for blatant abuse of our laws.”

Last week, Vanessa Brinkmann, Department of Justice Senior Counsel of Information Policy, authorized the release of more than 70 FBI photos of the documents agents gently organized. Some of the images are partially or completely redacted, but many show what Biden was hoarding at the Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, D.C. and in boxes and a drawer at the former president’s Wilmington home. FBI Uncovers Secret Snapchat Account Trump’s Would-Be Assassin Tried to Hide

Newly released FBI files turned over to the Senate reveal a Snapchat account tied to Thomas Crooks, the man who attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump.

The federal documents turned over to the Senate, first reported by the New York Post, revealed that FBI agents located a Snapchat account belonging to Crooks with the username “tom_crooks19.”

Crooks killed one person and seriously injured two others during his attempt to assassinate Trump July 13, 2024.

According to the FBI documents, an Amazon account was also located. Crooks also had an account with Mailfence, an encrypted email service, which the documents say he logged into multiple times between April 15, 2024, and July 8, 2024. He also used a Gmail account.

Retired FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jason Pack told Fox News Digital the Snapchat account may hold a “treasure trove” of evidence.

“When you snap and that picture goes away that everything is gone, and that’s not true. When I’ve served search warrants, there’s been a treasure trove of information that has come back,” Pack said. “It’s not like some people think when you’ve snapped, and then it goes away, it’s totally gone. At the FBI, a History of Hiring Prostitutes, Bestiality may no Longer be a Barrier to Being Hired

The FBI previously refused to hire job applicants if they admitted to hiring sex workers or stealing from an employer — or engaging in acts of bestiality.

Today, those acts, which are mostly illegal across the country, are no longer automatic deal breakers for applicants to the nation’s top law enforcement agency.

In June, the FBI quietly lowered some of the standards it uses when it conducts background checks on would-be federal agents and other personnel. According to multiple sources briefed on the matter, the FBI did so to facilitate hiring in some cases, even if candidates acknowledged they engaged in sexually deviant activities or stole from an employer.

The move comes as the FBI has lost scores of employees through firings, retirements and resignations since the start of the Trump administration.

Under specific circumstances, the FBI is willing to give candidates a pass on prostitution, as long as they have not hired sex workers three or more times, the sources told CBS News. And the hiring of the sex workers must not have taken place within the last 10 years, several of the sources added. FBI Used Comey Firing To Open New Russia Hoax Investigation Using Debunked Information

As part of its Russia collusion hoax lawfare attacks on President Donald Trump, the FBI opened a “subcomponent investigation” of Crossfire Hurricane, treating Trump as a criminal subject based on already-debunked information linking him to Russia, according to a Trump administration official.

The sub-investigation, known as “Oxferd Comma” was predicated on the idea that Trump, “the newly elected president, was acting as a Russian asset when he fired James Comey on May 9, 2017,” the administration official said. The case was marked as a “‘sensitive investigative matter,’ which was generally to keep it off the books from other agents to be able to see.”

The case was opened despite the fact that “almost everything in the FBI’s possession at that point had debunked or ruled out that Trump or his campaign was colluding with Russia at that time,” the official continued.

The FBI launched the investigation on May 16, 2017, one day before Robert Mueller was appointed special counsel to investigate the Russia collusion as though it were legitimate, despite the fact that the Clinton campaign-funded Steele dossier had already been debunked. Oxferd Comma was then absorbed into the Mueller investigation.

Well prior to May 2017, according to the admin official, FBI Special Agent William Barnett (who worked with Russia hoaxer and disgraced former Special Agent Peter Strzok on Crossfire Hurricane) gave a “lengthy interview” where he said the FBI concluded that there was no evidence of Russia collusion with Trump, or his former advisers Michael Flynn, Carter Page, and George Papadopoulos.

FBI Agents Arrest Heavily Armed Man At Trump Golf Course: REPORT

Plainclothes FBI agents reportedly arrested a heavily armed man outside Trump National Golf Course Los Angeles just two days before the president’s anticipated arrival.

Jeanine John Taele, 38, from Downey, California, was arrested Sunday after being found with an illegally modified AR platform rifle, two radio signal devices, a 1911 .45 caliber pistol, an AR platform upper receiver, body armor, high-capacity magazines, and bulk pistol and rifle ammunition, according to The New York Post.

The outlet reported that authorities also discovered multiple notebooks that contained concerning statements.

Lomita Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the golf course at approximately 3:28 p.m. on Aug. 2 after plainclothes federal agents reportedly spotted Taele walking the grounds and taking photos and videos.

FBI Assigns 260 Staff Members to Georgia 2020 Election Probe

The FBI has ramped up its investigation into the 2020 election in Georgia by dedicating more personnel to what an internal memo refers to as a “priority,” a person familiar with the matter told CNN, ramping up an inquiry into the election that President Donald Trump falsely said was rigged.

The memo, which was seen by CNN, calls for the FBI to quickly bring in an additional 260 FBI intelligence officials, on top of those agents already working in the Atlanta area.

Some of the intelligence personnel — which includes people who are skilled at analyzing data — will work on the investigation remotely, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation told CNN. . .

Child Predator Cults Tied To 450 People In Growing FBI Crackdown

FBI investigations of a heinous online child predator network have expanded to target more than 450 people, the bureau said on Tuesday.

Officials continue to crack down on groups going by names such as “764” that lure children into violent online communities and induce them toward self-harm or sexual acts, FBI Dallas Special Agent in Charge Joe Rothrock said in a statement warning parents and schoolteachers. Authorities have traced similar groups’ beginnings to at least 2019, announcing more than 350 subjects of investigations by late last year.

“Their members often connect with minors on popular online gaming and social media platforms, build their trust by posing as friends, and then coerce them into harming themselves or others,” Rothrock said of the predators.

The growing federal crackdown on 764-style networks spans multiple presidencies and now involves all 56 FBI field offices, according to authorities. The Trump administration has increasingly described them with the new label “Nihilistic Violent Extremists,” criminals who seek to cause harm “primarily from a hatred of society at large and a desire to bring about its collapse by sowing indiscriminate chaos, destruction, and social instability.”

Groups fitting that description also promote violence beyond sexual exploitation, including school shootings and political assassinations, and embrace Satanic or Nazi symbolism, Daily Caller News Foundation reporting shows.
