Watch: James Comey Defiantly Responds to Indictment — ‘I Am Not Afraid’

Former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey claimed he is innocent amid news Thursday that he has been federally indicted.

Comey posted a video to his Instagram account wherein he said he was “not afraid” and felt ready to go to trial.

“My family and I have known for years that there are costs to standing up to Donald Trump. But we couldn’t imagine ourselves living any other way. We will not live on our knees, and you shouldn’t either. Somebody that I love dearly recently said that ‘fear is the tool of a tyrant,’ and she’s right. But I’m not afraid and I hope you’re not either. I hope instead you are engaged, you are paying attention, and you will vote like your beloved country depends upon it which it does,” he stated.

“My heart is broken for the Department of Justice but I have great confidence in the federal judicial system. I’m innocent, so let’s have a trial and keep the faith,” Comey added:

Comey was indicted on one count of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice, Breitbart News reported on Thursday. (Read more from “Watch: James Comey Defiantly Responds to Indictment — ‘I Am Not Afraid’” HERE)

FBI: Dallas Sniper Who Attacked ICE Facility had ‘Anti-ICE’ ‘Ideological Motive’

By Breitbart. FBI Director Kash Patel reported that the man who shot at an ICE facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning had an “idealogical {sic} motive.” At least one of the bullets loaded in a clip had “Anti-ICE” marked on the shell casing.

Director Patel said the man fired several rounds at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility Wednesday morning. Patel said the man killed one person and wounded several others. He then took his own life as agents approached his rooftop location.

In a statement on social media, Patel wrote:

While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an idealogical motive behind this attack (see photo below). One of the unspent shell casings recovered was engraved with the phrase “ANTI ICE.” More updates will be forthcoming.

These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off. We are only miles from Prarieland Texas where just two months ago an individual ambushed a separate ICE facility targeting their officers. It has to end and the FBI and our partners will lead the these investigative efforts to see to it that those who target our law enforcement are pursued and brought to the fullest extent of justice.

Shooter Joshua Jahn’s brother claims sniper ‘didn’t have strong feelings about ICE’: report

By New York Post. The anti-ICE gunman who opened fire on agents and migrants at a federal facility in Dallas Wednesday, killing one person and wounding two others, “didn’t have strong feelings” about ICE — and knew how to use a rifle, but wasn’t a very good shot, according to his brother.

“I didn’t think he was politically interested,” Joshua Jahn’s brother Noah told NBC News. “He wasn’t interested in politics on either side as far as I knew.

“He didn’t have strong feelings about ICE as far as I knew.” . . .

He said his brother knew how to shoot — and their parents owned a rifle — but that Joshua wasn’t a skilled shooter.

“He’s not a marksman. He would not be able to make any shots like that,” Noah Jahn said. (Read more from “Shooter Joshua Jahn’s brother claims sniper ‘didn’t have strong feelings about ICE’: report” HERE)

FBI Claims It Found ‘Secret’ Files in Trump Nemesis’ Office

The FBI said it recovered classified documents and files marked “secret” from the office of Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, John Bolton.

Agents carried out a sweep of the Washington D.C. office of Bolton, now a vocal Trump critic and nemesis of the president, the same day it carried out an early morning raid at his home in Bethesda, Maryland, on Aug. 22.

An inventory of items seized during the office search, obtained by Politico, shows Bolton had classified files discussing weapons of mass destruction, “secret” travel memos, and “confidential” files related to a U.S. mission to the United Nations and government strategic communications.

The FBI did not specify the volume of material recovered from Bolton’s office but said it included folders marked “confidential” that contained pages labeled “secret.” Court filings indicated that no sensitive materials were removed from Bolton’s home.

In its search warrant application, the FBI said it was gathering evidence related to allegations of conspiracy to gather, transmit, or lose defense information, and the unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents. DOJ Settles with Ten FBI Whistleblowers Targeted by Biden Administration

Ten FBI whistleblowers who say the Biden administration punished them for their “political beliefs” and for disclosing misconduct in the bureau will have their security clearances reinstated and collect back pay, according to a settlement announced Tuesday.

“These ten (whistleblowers) collectively suffered 12-years-worth of unjustified suspension time,” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, posted on X after getting word of the settlement. “They were punished (because) of their disclosures/political beliefs. In other words, they were treated like skunks at a picnic. Now they receive justice.”

Sen. Grassley has long advocated for the whistleblowers and has helped navigate the settlements to their retaliation complaints. According to the Senator’s office, under the Biden administration the ten whistleblowers received retaliation that included demotions, loss of pay, and revocation of security clearances.

The legal nonprofit Empower Oversight represented the ten FBI employees. The organization detailed in a 12-page, March 5 letter to the FBI’s general counsel the improper “retaliatory targeting” of the men and women it represented. Burn Bags and Hidden Rooms: FBI Caught With Secret Trump-Russia Docs Years Later

A shocking discovery inside the FBI’s Washington, D.C. headquarters is reigniting scrutiny over the Bureau’s handling of the Trump-Russia collusion narrative that defined American politics for nearly a decade.

FBI Director Kash Patel uncovered “burn bags”—containers meant to destroy classified documents—stuffed with unreleased materials tied to the Bureau’s 2016 Trump-Russia investigation, according to sources familiar with the findings. The discovery was made in what’s being described as a “secret room” hidden away deep inside FBI headquarters.

Among the recovered files: a classified 29-page annex to the 2023 Durham report, which was previously withheld from the public. That appendix reportedly includes intelligence showing foreign actors warned U.S. officials that the FBI was preparing to push a false narrative of Trump collusion before the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe even began in July 2016.

The annex will be declassified and turned over to Senate Judiciary Chair Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) for public release, sources told The Post. The timeline for release remains unclear, but the implications are already generating fallout across Washington.

The group involved in examining the documents includes Patel, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Acting NSA Director William Hartman—a who’s who of Trump-era national security figures.

President Trump reacted to the news Wednesday, saying:

I want everything to be shown… as long as it’s fair and reasonable, I think it will be shown.”

The FBI’s 2016 Crossfire Hurricane investigation, built on now-debunked FISA warrants and unverified foreign intelligence, ultimately resulted in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s 2019 report—finding no evidence Trump or his campaign “conspired” with Russia.

Patel, who served as lead investigator for then-House Intel Chair Devin Nunes, has long claimed the Russia probe was politically motivated. He dropped hints about the hidden room in a recent Joe Rogan interview, saying:

“I found a room… full of documents and computer hard drives that no one had ever seen or heard of. They locked the key and hid access and just said, ‘No one’s ever gonna find this place.’”

Now he has.

Newly released evidence from Director Gabbard further alleges that the Obama administration was prepared to conclude Russia had not influenced the 2016 election, until former FBI Director James Comey pushed Crossfire Hurricane forward.

Former CIA Director John Brennan and former DNI James Clapper pushed back with a coordinated op-ed in The New York Times on Wednesday, calling Gabbard’s assertions “patently false” and accusing the Trump administration of distorting the intelligence record.

But critics say the damage was already done—both to American institutions and to public trust.

Trump Says His FBI Found Nothing ‘Abnormal’ When Investigating Assassination Attempt

President Donald Trump told reporters Tuesday that his FBI had concluded its investigation into Thomas Crooks and found nothing “abnormal” more than a year after the assassination attempt on his life.

While Trump’s FBI said there was no “there there” while investigating the assassination attempt in March, the president told Fox News that he was having a hard time believing the official narrative surrounding the July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Ten days out from the anniversary of the assassination attempt, Trump told the Daily Caller that he was “very satisfied” with what his administration turned up.

A year after the assassination attempt, details on tragedy and 20-year-old Thomas Crooks remain limited.

“What an interesting world that we know more about two people at a Coldplay concert just hours after that viral video than we know of Thomas Crooks one year after the assassination attempt. What is holding back the investigation on Thomas Crooks?” Real America’s Voice White House correspondent Brian Glenn asked.

“They have reported to me and told me things. They really say they haven’t found anything abnormal. I will say this, the Secret Service was very brave because they were right there and they jumped on me. They made mistakes. They should’ve had someone on that roof. They should have had communication with the local police. They made some mistakes,” Trump said while taking questions at a meeting with the Philippines president. Clinton Email Investigation Omitted Crucial Piece Of Evidence

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) did not review thumb drives containing potentially significant evidence while investigating Hillary Clinton’s private email server, according to a newly declassified report.

An FBI draft memo from May 2016 stated reviewing the thumb drives would be necessary to conduct a “thorough and complete investigation,” including assessing national security risks associated with the private server. Yet the agency “never finalized the memorandum or submitted this request to the department,” according to the document released Monday by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.

The document is the appendix to a 2018 Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Inspector General (OIG) report examining the FBI’s Clinton investigation. Grassley has been seeking information about it since 2018.

“I commend Chairman Grassley for his unwavering, years-long commitment to exposing the truth and holding those who seek to conceal it accountable,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said Monday in a statement. “This Department of Justice is fully committed to transparency and will continue to support good-faith efforts in Congress to ensure accountability across the federal government.”

Comey publicly stated Clinton was “extremely careless” in handling highly classified information but recommended the DOJ bring no charges in July 2016. He launched the probe into false allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia just weeks later. Maurene Comey, Daughter of Former FBI Head James Comey, Fired from DOJ

Maurene Comey, the daughter of former FBI director James Comey, was fired Wednesday from her job as a prosecutor in the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office, a Justice Department official confirmed to Fox News.

Comey was informed of her termination on Wednesday by the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, the official said.

She worked most recently on the prosecution of Sean “Diddy” Combs and previously prosecuted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

The reason for her firing as senior trial counsel at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York was not immediately clear.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office did not immediately respond to a call from Fox News Digital.

Comey’s father was fired during President Donald Trump’s first term in office after he initiated the investigation into potential ties between Russia and President Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The Justice Department recently appeared to acknowledge an investigation into James Comey, although it is unclear what sparked that probe. John Brennan, James Comey Perjured Themselves, New CIA Memo Appears To Show

Former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Brennan and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey may have perjured themselves while insisting under oath that the discredited Steele Dossier was not the basis for their 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA), a new CIA memo revealed.

Brennan and Comey repeatedly insisted the 2017 ICA, which concluded that Russian President Vladimir Putin interfered with the 2016 election with “a clear preference” for President Donald Trump, was not based on assertions from the infamous Steele Dossier.

This claim appears to be directly refuted by new evidence revealed in the CIA’s June review of the ICA.

The review, commissioned by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, concluded that Brennan pushed to include the Steele Dossier in the ICA.

The dossier was compiled by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele on behalf of Fusion GPS — a research firm indirectly hired by Hilary Clinton’s campaign through the law firm Perkins Coie, the Associated Press reported. HUH?? DOJ/FBI Joint Probe Concludes That Epstein “Didn’t Blackmail Anyone, Didn’t Have a Client List,” and Wasn’t Murdered

By New York Post. Notorious sex predator Jeffrey Epstein didn’t keep a supposed “client list,” and he was not murdered during his short-lived stay in a Manhattan lockup, the Justice Department and FBI reportedly concluded in a joint probe.

The investigation, the results of which were detailed in a memo obtained by Axios, also found no evidence that Epstein “blackmailed prominent individuals.” . . .

The video falls in line with the medical examiner’s assessment post-mortem that Epstein committed suicide, according to the memo.

The medical examiner’s conclusions were contested by Epstein’s surviving family, who turned to a forensic pathologist that determined a homicide was far more probable based on the evidence.

No one else involved in the Epstein case will face charges, according to the memo, beyond his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving 20 years for child sex trafficking and other related crimes. DOJ, FBI Conclude Epstein Had No “Client List,” Committed Suicide

By Axios. President Trump’s Justice Department and FBI have concluded they have no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, kept a “client list” or was murdered, according to a memo detailing the findings obtained by Axios.

The administration is releasing a video — in both raw and “enhanced” versions — that it says indicates no one entered the area of the Manhattan prison where Epstein was held the night he died in 2019.

The video supports a medical examiner’s finding that Epstein committed suicide, the two-page memo claims.

The findings represent the first time Trump’s administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories about Epstein’s activities and his death — theories that had been pushed by the FBI’s top two officials before Trump appointed them to the bureau.

As social media influencers and activists, Kash Patel (now the FBI’s director) and Dan Bongino (now deputy director) were among those in MAGA world who questioned the official version of how Epstein died. (Read more from “DOJ, FBI Conclude Epstein Had No “Client List,” Committed Suicide” HERE)

FBI Will Soon Release Video That Proves Jeffrey Epstein Was Not Murdered: ‘Clear as Day’

By New York Post. FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino promised Thursday to release new video that finally debunks conspiracy theories that sex predator Jeffrey Epstein could have been murdered — insisting “no one was there but him” at the time of his jail cell suicide.

“There’s video clear as day,” Bongino told “Fox & Friends.”

“He’s the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.”

“There is video and when you look at the video — and we will release it, we’re working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced – and we will give the original so you don’t think there are any shenanigans – you will see no one in there but him. There’s just nobody there,” Bongino said. (Read more from “FBI Will Soon Release Video That Proves Jeffrey Epstein Was Not Murdered: ‘Clear as Day’” HERE)
